Shawn O'Malley and Daniel Mahnke break down Lululemon (ticker: LULU), an iconic brand famous for pioneering the now ubiquitous athleisure industry. Lululemon has a fiercely loyal customer base, with industry-leading rates of repeat customers, sales per square foot of retail space, and very little need for discounting, if any. In this episode, you'll learn about why the market has soured on this powerful brand, despite incredible success growing internationally, leaving its P/E ratio at a relatively low 15-16x. You'll also learn about how Lululemon controls all of its touchpoints with customers, selling primarily DTC, as opposed to wholesale like Nike and Adidas do, as well as whether LULU is attractively valued today, plus so much more! IN THIS EPISODE, YOU'LL LEARN 00:00 – Intro 04:23 - Why Lululemon has such a cult-like following. 07:19 - What makes Lululemon products so special. 15:41 - How new competitors are challenging Lululemon on the margins. 20:59 - How the future of Lululemon may be defined by China and menswear. 26:48 - Why the setup for LULU stock may be even more attractive than Nike. 53:48 - What to know about possible yellow flags with the business, like its declining inventory turnover ratio and expanding cash conversion cycle. 01:01:57 - Why the company's acquisition of the sports-tech hardware company, Mirror, failed so miserably. 01:07:15 - How to think about modeling LULU's intrinsic value. 01:16:16 - Whether Shawn and Daniel add LULU to their Intrinsic Value Portfolio. *Disclaimer: Slight timestamp discrepancies may occur due to podcast platform differences. Happy new year! The boys are back kicking off the new year with the same old bullshit. Josh recaps his Holiday hijinks (pun intended) from Hijyix festival in Philadelphia, as well as the Space Laces show in Charlotte on NYE. Going way back to Christmas day, the boys dive into their recap of the 31-2 assault the Ravens put down on the Houston Texans. Lamar was efficient and took matters to the ground on occasion, but this game was largely the Derrick Henry show. Tallying 27 carries for over 140 yards and a score, the king proved to the country why he's still the King. Also, Dante takes a look at some of the run fits that has him asking “what exactly is Todd Monken on?” The defense also played a stellar game as they held the Texans offense to ZERO (0) points in the game, Kyle Hamilton and Ar'Darius Washington both made key plays in pivotal moments that helped close out the win. Kyle Van Noy continues his career year, and Odafe Oweh tallied a sack as well in addition to his highest single season total. Lastly, we don't want to say it too loud, but it seems that Justin Tucker is kicking good balls again. The sports media world is ablaze with MVP discourse between Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson, so the boys had to weigh in. Dante actually credits and defends Dan Orlovsky's take, but explains why Dan isn't exactly looking at it the right way. The Ravens have their final game of the regular season on Saturday, welcoming the Cleveland Browns to town to close out the year. The Browns will be starting Dorian Thompson-Robinson again this week, and could be missing some key players. From Josh and Dante, the message is simple: get the job done and stay healthy. The boys talk a little about college football as the CFP is still going on. Is Ohio State good? And can Penn State win a big game? Lastly, rave fashion is… something. We love you all so much. Thank you for another year of rocking with us. Cheers!

Toyota's Tacoma started life nearly three decades ago as a replacement for the creatively named Toyota Pickup. Since its inception, the Tacoma was popular with off-road and compact truck enthusiasts alike. Toyota seems to have only fostered this popularity over three decades and turned it into a dominating sales success. Available in two-wheel or four-wheel-drive the Tacoma has something for folks that need off-road chops or just want a smaller truck to cruise around sunny California streets. On this episode of Quick Spin, host Wesley Wren hops behind the wheel of the '23 Toyota Tacoma. Wren takes you around the Toyota Tacoma to highlight its styling and features before taking you along on a live drive review. Mark Vaughn chimes in to talk about off-roading, midsize trucks and more. The pair discuss the Tacoma's competition in the market and its overwhelming success. Closing the show, the two breakdown what makes the Tacoma special.

Health & Wellness Coach Pamela Erin talks about her brand new fitness app "Body By Pam" and how she is helping clients change their lives by connecting not only by instruction but mentorship. Pam also gives us an inside look into her budding acting career. Pamela Erin Ricardo is a trained theater, film, and television actress who is quickly lighting up wherever she lands. The Afro-Latina is Brooklyn born, Atlanta raised and definitely multifaceted like that of a diamond. She spent most of her late teens and early 20's working multiple jobs to make ends meet for herself and it wasn't until 2007 that she was approached about a career in acting. She did her first stageplay with no prior experience and hasn't looked back since. Some of her credits include a recurring role on two seasons of BET's “The Quad” starring Anika Noni Rose, CMT's “Still The King” starring the legendary Billy Ray Cyrus, and The CW's hit television series “The Vampire Diaries.” Her signature nickname "Pamela The Beauty" comes from winning the 2009 Miss Black Manhattan USA Pageant in New York City. Her platform remains to this day, "Chase Your Dreams." It was in New York that Pamela began her training at The Stella Adler Conservatory and she continues to train at The Company Acting Studio in Georgia as well as with the legendary Rob Mello, Dwayne Boyd, and Los Angeles Acting Coach to the stars, Crystal Carson. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/koolkard/support
