He took over the voice of Roger Smith's butler Norman Burg in the second season of The Big O. Oppenheimer also worked on The Transformers, most notably as two contrasting characters, the pacifist Beachcomber and the bellicose Warpath.. He was the voice of Alistair Crane on the soap opera Passions. Oppenheimer recently provided the voice of the Scientist for the film “9.” Oppenheimer's repertoire also includes video games, voicing Dr. Piotr Ivanovich in Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix, Prometheus in God of War II and Jandor the Airship Captain in Nox. In Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel, he spoke the part of Harold, an ancient mutated survivor of nuclear holocaust who has appeared in four of the Fallout series games. Oppenheimer was Dr. Rudy Wells in the Six Million Dollar Man. He was nominated for an Emmy for ‘MURPHY BROWN' and starred in many TV shows and films, including LITTLE BIG MAN, THE HINDENBURG, FREAKY FRIDAY. He also co-starred on Broadway as Cecil B. Pufnstuf (also known as Pufnstuf Zaps the World) is a 1970 American comedy fantasy musical film produced by Sid and Marty Krofft Enterprises and released by Universal Pictures. It is based on the children's television series H.R. Pufnstuf, a show that features a cast of puppets on a "living island."   The NeverEnding Story is a 1984 fantasy film co-written and directed by Wolfgang Petersen (in his first English-language film), and based on the 1979 novel The Neverending Story by Michael Ende. It was produced by Bernd Eichinger and Dieter Giessler, and stars Noah Hathaway, Barret Oliver, Tami Stronach, Patricia Hayes, Sydney Bromley, Gerald McRaney and Moses Gunn, with Alan Oppenheimer providing the voices of Falkor and Gmork (as well as other characters). It follows a boy who finds a magical book that tells of a young warrior who is given the task of stopping the Nothing, a dark force, from engulfing the wonderland world of Fantasia.   At the time of its release, it was the most expensive film produced outside the United States or the Soviet Union. Join us as the Rehashers talk about one of our favorite childhood movies called The Neverending Story. A troubled boy dives into a wondrous fantasy world through the pages of a mysterious book.

It's a road trip! Cyrus and Gmork unexpectedly make a new friend on the way to Roosterfoot.  Cyrus gives the Republic a chance, but doesn't give it a second chance.

Cyrus discovers that Bear is not all he seems, and adjusts his expectations accordingly. Gmork finds the high point of his life, and Cyrus the low.

Cyrus's logic has come to a dead end.  He and Gmork attend a formal ball with an unexpected climax.  Cyrus finally loses his grip, and finds a way forward.

Cyrus, Vicod, and Gmork return to Green Bridge to assist in solving Rolly's murder. Cyrus catches up with old friends, and discovers a few new ones following him around. Cyrus and Vicod toast the dead; The Bright Path Podcast belly-flops into an entirely new genre of absurdity.

Ever wonder what makes the Neverending Story so, well, never-ending? Well, it's largely because certain events just sort of keep happening over and over again, which explains why the unstoppable annihilating force called The Nothing has returned to creep across the land of Fantasia, erasing all in its path. Last time, a brave hero was given a horse to go rescue the Childlike Empress and save the land from destruction, but that horse didn't make it very far into the quest before it was lost and the hero had to go the rest of the way on foot. This time, the allies of the Empress are leaving nothing to chance, assigning four brave young warriors the task of saving their world... and giving them each a singularly amazing horse to see them through. But which horse will carry their rider to victory? Can Claire lead Agro to the glowing weak points in her opponents' arguments? Will Dan's increasingly specious claims about Shadowfax's running speed leave his rivals in the dust? Can guest advocate Rafael Medina's assertions prove as invincible as Epona herself? And will Meganbob ever get around to actually arguing for Maximus amidst her pitch for her bold new series, Horse Cop? All this, plus the return of Kit's recurring fun animal facts segments!
