Send us a textThe New York Giants made an effort to bring back edge rusher Azeez Ojulari, but the former Giant opted to join the reigning Super Bowl champions instead. According to Dan Duggan of The Athletic, the Giants did extend an offer, though the exact terms remain unknown. Ojulari chose to move on, likely seeing a better opportunity to contribute as a pass-rush specialist on a team stacked with defensive talent.  With free agency in full swing and major roster moves shaking up the league, the Giants still have key needs to address. The quarterback position remains a question mark, as the team looks for depth or a potential long-term solution behind Daniel Jones. The right guard spot also needs attention, with several veteran options still available, including Brandon Scherff, Will Hernandez, and Dalton Risner. Each comes with strengths and weaknesses, from Scherff's veteran leadership to Hernandez's familiarity with the franchise and Risner's strong pass-blocking ability. On the defensive line, New York still has holes to fill, with veterans like John Jenkins and DeShawn Williams available. However, both options come with concerns regarding their overall performance grades and fit within the Giants' system.  As the dust settles from the early frenzy of free agency, attention turns to the NFL Draft. With a clearer picture of the team's needs, we conduct a live post-free agency mock draft, analyzing the best fits for the Giants and how they can use their draft capital to strengthen the roster. Every pick matters as the Giants look to build a competitive team for the upcoming season.  Tune in as Drew and Rob break down the latest Giants news, discuss free agency updates, explore potential signings, and dive into a full mock draft that could shape the future of the franchise. The offseason is far from over, and the Giants still have crucial decisions ahead to ensure they take a step forward in 2025.#giants #nygiants #nflSupport the showAll Episodes are shot LIVE with fan interactions on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, & TwitchSponsor the show at: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/2giantgoofballsInterested in starting a podcast. In a quiet English town, 13-year-old Billie Jo Jenkins was brutally murdered on the porch of her foster home.  Her foster father, Sion Jenkins, was convicted of the crime, but after two retrials, he was acquitted in 2006 - leaving one of the UK's most notorious murders unsolved.  Despite his acquittal, the jury never delivered a ‘not guilty' verdict, making this case even more perplexing.   Professor Adrian Linacre is a forensic blood spatter expert, who's worked on hundreds of cases across the world, including the Billie Jo Jenkins murder investigation.  In this episode, uncover the twists and turns in this highly controversial case, go inside the courtroom drama, and unravel the delicate balance between forensic science and justice. d novel! Join us for The Stars, Like Dust—! In this episode, we sift through chapters one through eight. The Stars, Like Dust is book #003 in the Asimov canon. That's a little misleading. Book #002 I, Robot is a fix-up; most of it had been written years before. This was the second time the Good Doctor sat down to write a book and he intended to write a Novel with a capital "N." He wasn't having a good time of it. Walter Bradbury, Asimov's editor, had liked Pebble in the Sky and wanted a follow-up but he also wanted an outline and a couple of sample chapters. Bradbury rejected the first two proposals. John Jenkins of AsimovReviews.net put it this way. "...now that he was a Novelist, Asimov was thinking he needed to write like one and was getting carried away. Rather than his sticking to his usual sparse prose, he was getting distinctly florid, and he needed to tone things down." That's what comes from trying to write a Novel with a capital "N" I suppose. To make matters worse, when Galaxy Science Fiction bought the right to serialize the novel Horace Gold insisted on a subplot that Asimov really didn't care for. But now it was time to sit down and write, which is what our good friend Isaac does best. Join us to see how the book turned out! This reading coincides with the installment published in the January 1951 issue of Galaxy Science Fiction under the title Tyrann.

In the early 1660s, a motley crew of free-thinkers, republican veterans of Oliver Cromwell's New Model Army, and Quakers would build the freest place in all the English world, the County of Albemarle in northeastern North Carolina. Protected from the north, and incursions by Virginia royalists, by the Great Dismal Swamp, from the east by the treacherous waters of the Outer Banks, and from Indians by the skilled diplomacy of fur trader Nathaniel Batts, the settlers would prosper as small farmers and free tradesmen. Their leaders would include John Jenkins, veteran of Fendall's Rebellion in Maryland, and a dissident Virginian planter and sheriff named William Drummond. Together they would resist attempts by the proprietors to exert control over their land and lives, and would extend the franchise to all free Englishmen in the colony. This is their story. ESPN reported that the College Football Playoff board of managers has unanimously approved a new model for the expanded 12-team field this upcoming fall, ensuring inclusion for the five highest-ranked conference champions along with the next seven highest-ranked teams, as announced by the CFP on Tuesday. The decision, made during a virtual meeting of the 10 FBS presidents and chancellors and Notre Dame president Rev. John Jenkins, follows months of delay, largely due to considerations from the Pac-12 amidst conference realignment. The vote required unanimous approval for the 5+7 format, a condition that was met despite previous abstentions or requests for delay from the Pac-12. Washington State president Kirk Schulz, representing the Pac-12 on the board, affirmed readiness to vote following consultations with Oregon State president Jayathi Y. Murthy. Schulz emphasized the benefit of seven at-large bids over the original proposal of six conference champions and six at-large teams, particularly given the recent losses suffered by the Pac-12 to other conferences. The new format, which prioritizes the five highest-ranked conference champions, ensures opportunities for teams across various conferences, including the SEC, Big Ten, Big 12, ACC, and the highest-ranked Group of 5 champion. While the term "Group of 5" is not explicitly used in the format's description, it acknowledges the potential for champions from non-Power 4 conferences to secure playoff berths based on rankings. The theme of discipline emerges as a powerful thread running through the wisdom shared by my incredible guests. From thinking positively to exercising daily, eating healthy, working hard, building faith, reading more, and worrying less, these disciplines are the key to becoming an Uncommon Leader. Hear about Craig Gini's inspiring voyage, Maria Francesconi's strategies for cultivating personal well-being, and Kellianne Thayer's insightful leadership methods. I also hosted Mark Jewell CEO of Thrive Today, who shared his expertise on intentional certainty and its role in reaching success. Dr. John Jenkins, medical director for school based care at Cone Health, also joined us to emphasize the value of continuous learning and development for success. You won't want to miss motivational speaker and Guinness World Record holder, Matt Scoletti, who shares how a simple morning routine can maximize your day. The Miami Dolphins continue spending for the third-straight season by acquiring All-Pro Defensive Back Jalen Ramsey. With more high-end players, Miami is now limited in terms of "mid-level" options to fill out the depth chart. The Dolphins kept five defensive linemen to begin last season but haven't found a veteran replacement for John Jenkins. Due to injuries in the secondary, will Miami choose to keep fewer linebackers in order to solidify depth at cornerback?
