Jimmy welcomes David Andry and Christopher Alvarez into the Yeti Cave to chat all about their love letter to high octane, big action, super fun 90s comics: DEAD BLOOD, on Kickstarter right now. Bruno Furlani and Micah Myers round out the rest of this creative team to tell the story of Cull and his ghostly vestigial twin Rip as they shoot their way across the panels. This is another great episode where we dig into the creative process learn about Christopher and David's influences and inspirations. Episode 13! The luckiest episode. Also, the longest (so far). It's basically two episodes for the price of one! Listeners can decide if that means it's good luck or bad luck.... Lazy N finally got over his cough, but then got sick again and guess what? Anyway, the title hits the major points but leaves out macaroni and cheese, a Porky Pig impression, and probably some other stuff. We can't give it all away here. There is foisting though! J & Lazy N Ramble On... about bloody beds, antibiotics, moving house, animal shelters, candy rocks, and Amazon.com Episode Ten! Longest title ever! Time travel! Shout outs! Unofficial sponsors! Also expect a few sniffs, coughs, yawns, and maybe burps. You gotta love only being able to breathe through your mouth... J & Lazy N Ramble On... about Questions, podcast sausage, beards, and being broken old men. It's Episode Three! Listen to Lazy N go on and on and on (well, we edited it down a bit) about The Question... and committing crimes against artists. Listen to "the boys" talk about trying to figure out this whole podcasting thing (again). Listen to Lazy N swap out "fuck" for "like" as the word he says WAAAAAAY too often. And, finally, listen to two broken old men talk about their beards, a few of their injuries, dubious genetics, and J "Greasing the Groove". Enjoy! Our music is "Back to the Grind" by Billie Stevens. J & Lazy N Ramble On... about a sentient inanimate water-based item. It's Episode One, Part Two! Or as we're gonna call it, Episode Two! I mean, we honed two-and-a-half hours of raw audio into pure rambling perfection by trimming it out all extraneous stuff (listeners can debate the validity of that statement) and still thought to ourselves, "that is a really long FIRST episode". So towards the end, when you hear Lazy N say, "this will definitely be episode one", well, he tries... We also talked a little about our employment histories, the definition of the word "orphan", superheroes in film and comics, and still more about trying to figure out this podcasting thing. I mean, next week we'll definitely be talking about that transition edit (or lack thereof) to the end credits... ~_~ And, Lazy N says "fuck". A LOT. And we probably edited out half of them... so, wow. Enjoy! Our music is "Back to the Grind" by Billie Stevens. Podcast logo by Lazy N & Micah Myers. J & Lazy N Ramble On... about fitbits, film, and alcoholism. We also talked about movies and comics, but figured that asking listeners to commit to an hour and 45 minutes for a first episode was a bit much. So we split our first session (well, really our second... it's rambly and explained in the episode) into two episodes. Expect the second later this week! Enjoy!
