Because I was very pleased with their behavior, I told them, ‘Although you are both very much exalted, you consider yourselves inferior, and because of this, Kṛṣṇa will very soon deliver you.' Purport Such are the qualifications of a pure devotee. Materially one may be very opulent, experienced, influential and educated, but if one still thinks himself lower than straw in the street, one attracts the attention of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu or Lord Kṛṣṇa. Although Mahārāja Pratāparudra was a king, he took up a broom to cleanse the road for Lord Jagannātha's ratha (chariot). Because of this humble service, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu was very pleased with the King, and for that reason the Lord embraced him. According to Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's instructions, a devotee should never be puffed up by material power. He should know that material power is the result of one's past good activities (karma) and is consequently transient. At any moment all one's material opulence can be finished; therefore a devotee is never proud of such opulence. He is always humble and meek, considering himself lower than a piece of straw. Because of this, the devotees are eligible to return home, back to Godhead. We should have every year the 'Best Purport Awards.' This is what I'm going to enter. (HG Vaisesika Dasa) Kṛṣṇadāsa Kavirāja Gosvāmī wants to point out that nothing could compare to the Lord's mercy toward Mahārāja Pratāparudra; therefore he uses the word dekha (“just see”) and caitanyera kṛpā-mahābala (“how powerful is the mercy of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu”). This is also confirmed by Prabodhānanda Sarasvatī: yat-kāruṇya-kaṭākṣa-vaibhava-vatām (Caitanya-candrāmṛta 5). Even a little of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's mercy serves as a great asset for spiritual advancement. Therefore the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement must be spread through the mercy of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. When Rūpa Gosvāmī experienced the mercy and magnanimity of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, he said: namo mahā-vadānyāya kṛṣṇa-prema-pradāya te kṛṣṇāya kṛṣṇa-caitanya- nāmne gaura-tviṣe namaḥ “I offer my respectful obeisances unto the Supreme Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa Caitanya, who is more magnanimous than any other avatāra, even Kṛṣṇa Himself, because He is bestowing freely what no one else has ever given — pure love of Kṛṣṇa.” Śrīla Locana dāsa Ṭhākura has also sung, parama karuṇa, pahuṅ dui jana, nitāi-gauracandra: “The two brothers Nitāi and Gaura are so kind that no one can compare to Them.” Similarly, Śrīla Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura has sung: vrajendra-nandana yei, śacī-suta haila sei, balarāma ha-ila nitāi, dīna-hīna yata chila, hari-nāme uddhārila, tā'ra sākṣī jagāi-mādhāi “Just to deliver all the sinful persons of this age by propagating the chanting of the holy name, Lord Kṛṣṇa and Lord Balarāma have advented as Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu and Nityānanda Prabhu. Jagāi and Mādhāi are evidence of Their success.” Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's special mission is the deliverance of all fallen souls in Kali-yuga. Cc Madhya 14.174-257 https://vedabase.io/en/library/cc/madhya/14/advanced-view/ Dressing himself as a Vaiṣṇava, Mahārāja Pratāparudra entered the garden at Balagaṇḍi alone and began reciting verses from Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. He then took the opportunity to massage the lotus feet of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. The Lord, in His ecstatic love for Kṛṣṇa, immediately embraced the King and thus bestowed mercy upon him. When there was an offering of prasādam in the garden, Lord Caitanya also partook of it. After this, when Lord Jagannātha's ratha car stopped moving, King Pratāparudra called for many elephants to pull it, but they were unsuccessful. Seeing this, Lord Caitanya began to push the car from behind with His head, and the car began moving. Then the devotees began pulling the car with ropes. Near the Guṇḍicā temple is a place known as Āiṭoṭā. This place was fixed up for Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu to rest in. When Lord Jagannātha was seated at Sundarācala, Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu saw it as Vṛndāvana. He performed sporting pastimes in the water of the lake known as Indradyumna. For nine continuous days during Ratha-yātrā, the Lord remained at Sundarācala, and on the fifth day He and Svarūpa Dāmodara observed the pastimes of Lakṣmī, the goddess of fortune. During that time, there was much talk about the pastimes of the gopīs. When the ratha was again being drawn and the chanting resumed, two devotees from Kulīna-grāma — Rāmānanda Vasu and Satyarāja Khān — were requested to bring silk ropes every year for the Ratha-yātrā ceremony. Bhūri-dā janāḥ means the most munificent, the person who is giving the best, the best giver in the world. That's what we're coming to in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, because here we start with Kṛṣṇa saying in the Bhagavad Gītā, "Be fully Kṛṣṇa conscious" (Chapter 12). If you can't do that, practice thinking of Kṛṣṇa through the rules and regulations. If you can't do that, then just try to work for Kṛṣṇa. Give! If you can't give to Kṛṣṇa for some reason—and Prabhupāda gives definition to that, like your family won't let you: "I'm sorry, I can't give a check, but it has ISKCON on it. I'm toast."So then he says, "Well, just volunteer somewhere. Go and volunteer in a national park and try to do good for others. That'll raise your awareness that the more I give, the happier I become, the more fulfilled I am." That's a revelation to all living beings in the material world who are just trying to take for themselves. That's: ahastāni sahastānām apadāni catuṣ-padām phalgūni tatra mahatāṁ jīvo jīvasya jīvanam (SB 1.13.47) This statement early in the Bhāgavatam says that living beings are just trying to eat each other. Everyone's stealing everyone else's property; whatever wealth other people have, they try to siphon it off somehow. And ultimately, you know, "You've got a body, I think I'll just eat your body to stay alive." That's the material world, and it's scary, but it's the reality of the world. So then we have this flip towards the spiritual world. How does it happen? Etāvāj janma sāphalyam: You want perfection in your life? Then learn how to give everything in a way of Śreyas—of doing good for others. That's how you become happy. tava kathāmṛtaṁ tapta-jīvanaṁ kavibhir īḍitaṁ kalmaṣāpaham śravaṇa-maṅgalaṁ śrīmad ātataṁ bhuvi gṛṇanti ye bhūri-dā janāḥ (SB 10.31.9) When Caitanya Mahāprabhu heard this verse, He became so enlivened that He embraced Pratāparudra Mahārāja at this point, when he said this verse, and He said, "You are the most munificent. You are the most munificent," He was saying over and over again to Pratāparudra Mahārāja for reciting that verse and letting that vibration out into the world. Those who are giving Kṛṣṇa-kathā, those who are teaching others about Kṛṣṇa, they are the most munificent in the world. Elle a eu un exercice de médecin en PMI et en crèche. A ce moment là elle a ouvert un blog pour partager des anecdotes du quotidien, ceci ayant donné naissance à un livre. En écrivant un autre livre concernant la vaccination, après avoir fait un DU de vaccination, elle trouve une autre façon d'aider les autres médecins pour répondre aux questions que se posent les patients sur les vaccins. La vuelta del PSC al Govern de Catalunya cumple su primer aniversario. Albert Dalmau, conseller de la Presidencia de la Generalitat de Catalunya analiza este primer año de legislatura en Las Mañanas de RNE. "Cataluña ha abierto una nueva etapa. Hemos conseguido algunos de los objetivos que nos marcábamos". Aunque entre esos objetivos pendientes se encuentra el sistema de financiación singular que se demanda para Cataluña donde el conseller insiste en que se debe adaptar a sus características, pero que no se trata de un privilegio. "Buscamos un sistema de financiación que atienda mejor a las necesidades de Cataluña para acometer cómo prestamos una mejor sanidad y educación". Y rechaza que esta petición se desligue del ámbito nacional. "Nosotros no hacemos política para ir en contra de nadie en el conjunto de España".Durante este primer año el Govern no ha aprobado aún los presupuestos, pero Dalmau asegura que reabrirán el debate. "Vamos a empezar ese diálogo a la vuelta de verano. Cuando uno empieza una negociación lo hace desde posiciones más alejadas". Una de las medidas estrella de Illa es la ampliación del aeropuerto del Prat que todavía no se ha llevado a cabo y presenta la contraria de Esquerra y Comuns. "Nuestra responsabilidad es gobernar y no vamos a renunciar a nuestro programa electoral", sostiene el conseller, que concluía expresando la voluntad del PSC en cuanto a la ley de amnistía. Kṛṣṇa declares that he is subordinate to the love of his devotee. Bhakti is so powerful that the supreme controller of all controllers finds the greatest pleasure in being controlled by the love of his devotee. But to realize that love requires Kṛṣṇa's grace. Śrīla Prabhupāda gives an example: when we talk of the oneness of a nation, it doesn't mean everybody merges into a nation. There may be millions of individuals, but the oneness of a nation is that we are united on the higher principle of the nation, the interests of the nation. When we speak about one family, it's not that everybody in the family becomes, you know, like the filling in a samosa—we all get smashed together. The oneness of a family is when the interest of the family is the higher principle that we are all united on, and that's actually oneness. Śrīla Prabhupāda describes that this is the idea of Kṛṣṇa consciousness: that we are all conscious of Kṛṣṇa. We all have our diversity, we all have our natures, we all have our experiences, we all have our individual, unique struggles in life. But there's a higher principle that we unite on: saṁsiddhir hari-toṣaṇam—what will please Kṛṣṇa. And in our life, we know what will please Kṛṣṇa is what will please Śrīla Prabhupāda. Variegatedness, or diversity, without appreciating the higher principle that we've been brought together to represent, could create envy and division. But in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, variegatedness actually creates deeper appreciation for each other with our differences, and that is a test of actually if we're Kṛṣṇa conscious. When we see the wonderful associates of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, there's so much variegatedness. In ordinary society of that time, these people would probably have nothing to do with each other. But they were so loving and so gentle; they actually loved each other, not just the austerity of not fighting, because they were seeing each other according to the higher principle. Mahārāja Pratāparudra was a king, an undisputed king called Gajapati of the empire of Orissa. He had palaces, incredible treasuries, armies. And then there was Kolavecā Śrīdhara. He was so simple and poor; he would sell the leaves of bananas just sitting on the side of the road. And he was so simple; he dressed in rags because that's the only clothes he had. He had a simple little straw house that was one room with a dirt floor, and when it would rain, the rain would come in because it was just a little straw roof. He was so thin because he hardly had money. But whatever he earned, before spending anything, he would donate half for the worship of Mother Gaṅgā, because she was the energy of the Lord, purifying and giving mercy and blessings to all beings without discrimination of who was fit or unfit. Whether you're rich or poor, whether you're of one caste or one color or one sex or one community, still, Mother Gaṅgā is flowing and purifying you, even if you're a buffalo, or an elephant, or a snake, or a lizard. Mother Gaṅgā is flowing for everyone. So Kolavecā Śrīdhara was living so simply, but yet, when he would come to Purī, he didn't think of the king as a gross materialist living in his palace, "King, you are in māyā. Look, you have all of this!" He had the highest regard and appreciation for King Pratāparudra, because he was using what he had in God's service. Multiple Eclipse Champion Flightline was bred by Jane Lyon's Summer Wind Farm and raced by Summer Wind in partnership with Hronis Racing, Siena Farm, West Point Thoroughbreds and Woodford Racing. A $1-million Fasig-Tipton Saratoga yearling purchase from the Lane's End consignment, Flightline was trained by John Sadler and was ridden in all six of his starts by Flavien Prat.Flightline's victory in the $6-million Breeders' Cup Classic at Keeneland was the culmination of an historic career in which he won all six starts— by a combined 71 lengths -- including four Grade 1s. Flightline was the world's highest-rated racehorse in 2022, having been assigned a mark of 139 following his 19 1⁄4-length victory in the Pacific Classic (G1) . He is the highest-rated dirt horse in history. Facing the strongest field he had ever met in the Classic, Flightline stalked four-time Grade 1 winner Life Is Good through hot fractions before collaring that rival at the quarter pole and drawing clear under a hand ride. He earned triple-digit Beyers in all six starts - 121, 126, 112, 118, 114, 105.His first in-foal mares average $1,074,431, highest average for an incoming stallion in the last 15 years. Flightline had more seven-figure in-foal mare sales than any other stallion in 2023. He led all sires by CI - 6.98, over two points higher than the next best stallion. By CPI (7.40) he led all incoming stallions by 2.31 points, and ranked third out of all stallions by CPI.
