An algorithm is a step-by-step procedure for solving a problem or accomplishing some end. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the capability of computer systems or algorithms to imitate intelligent human behavior. Most of us are familiar with China's Social Credit System and the CCP's ubiquitous use of surveillance. Online behaviour is monitored … and algortihms are KEY to everything. So HOW does this fit into Geopolitics, Prophecy and Your Health? Hang on for the ride! ____________________________________ ALGORITHMS, AI AND YOUR HEALTHCREATING YOUR FUTURE INDEPENDENCE For years the Chinese government has been using technologies to control its citizens in frightening ways. The internet is highly censored, and each person's cell phone number and online activity is assigned a unique ID number tied to their real name. Facial-recognition technology is also increasingly widespread in China, with few restraints on how it can be used to track and surveil citizens. The {China] Supreme People's Court maintains a blacklist of people who the government alleges did not comply with court judgments, for example by not paying fines, but also things like failing to formally apologize to someone they are found to have wronged. Being on the blacklist now comes with harsh punishments. You might be unable to purchase high-speed train tickets, fly on an airplane, or send your kids to a private school. The government has prohibited more than 20 million plane tickets from being purchased. SO WHAT IS AN ALGORITHM … An algorithm is a a step-by-step procedure for solving a problem or accomplishing some end. The definition of an algorithm is “a set of instructions to be followed in calculations or other operations.” This applies to both mathematics and computer science. So, at the essential level, an AI algorithm is the programming that tells the computer how to learn to operate on its own. SO HOW DOES THIS APPLY TO YOU ... What China and the CCP does “leaks” over to the USA and other countries. Online behavior is already a BIG part of what is monitors, and algorithms are KEY to everything. The basic goal is to process the vast USA data—and data from other countries—to create individual ratings which will determine YOUR access to most things … from travel to jobs. A plan released just recently by the Beijing municipal government dictates that personal creditworthiness points will be used to reward and/or punish individuals―and companies―by granting or denying them access to public services like healthcare, travel, and employment. High scoring “Green Channel” people can more easily access social opportunities. Those who actions are disapproved of by the state will be restricted …even to having passports revoked. One high profile system, which has already been used in USA for years, is Sesame Credit—created by Ant Financial—an offshoot of the Chinese online retail giant Alibaba. Using a secret algorithm, Sesame Credit constantlys scores people from 350 to 950. WARNNG: It's ratings are based upon info such as “interpersonal relationships” and “consumer habits.” Being friends with “low rated” people is NOT good … and buying video games gets you marked down! Algorithms fuel—or dictate—HOW these surveillance tools operate … and AI facilitates the operation! SO WHAT ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT ALPHABETS … You can speak all you want to … but just not in a public forum: like a local School Board Meeting OR on Social Media. [Just look back to what has happened since January 2021.] Your actions are going to be monitored more and more. How many of the people arrested for alleged Jan 6th crimes never were in the area but some communication or relationship supposedly “tied” them to that event. Look at how the Government is atttacking Elon Musk who “healed” X (formerly Twitter) and exposed unfounded censorship by Government influence on the previous Twitter. Across the world, governments have invested heavily in setting up a surveillance infrastructure. There are millions of cameras, but no one to monitor them 24/7. However, artificial intelligence (AI) can process every frame and present real-time analysis. The reason AI is making a vast impact is because of its self-learning capabilities. AI is constantly learning and improving. Error is minimized with every iteration and moves closer to—or even better than—human error. Algorithms “attempt” to influence you now whether you realize it or not. Surveillance of travel, purchases, relationships, recreation and spending—and soon thoughts—will be the next encroachment into YOUR life. Look at the recent example of Google AI Gemini which would NOT allow a “white person” image on certain searches for George Washington. Gemini responded to a prompt for “a portrait of a Founding Father of America” with images of a Native American man in a traditional headdress, a Black man, a darker-skinned non-White man and an Asian man, all in colonial-era garb. Elon Musk accused Google of pushing a pro-diversity bias into its product. Experts have long warned that AI tools therefore have the potential to replicate the racial and gender biases baked into that information. Evidence of racial bias in Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Meta AI and ChatGPT has been proven. Google's public apology after its Gemini artificial intelligence (AI) produced historically inaccurate images and refused to show pictures of White people has led to questions about potential racial bias in other big tech chatbots. Gemini was asked why showing a picture of a White person was bad: "racial generalizations" have been used historically to "justify oppression and violence against marginalized groups." Let me interject here. We are NOW at the entrance to the End Times. As we progress farther into the Last Days many demonic forces will be loosed—many are already here—look at what has happened since January, 2021. Citizens are subject to dystopian rules and measures to mold them into what the regime deems "perfect" citizens and are required to report their fellow citizens to the authorities for even minor infractions. People are then added to a "blacklist" in which their finances, travel, and living opportunities are restricted. China has begun "early-access" of their social credit system. If you've seen Black Mirror, the episode titled "Nosedive" is very similar to what they're implementing for their citizens. It's rumored to be mandatory by 2020. They are planning on having a 360-degree surveillance and rating system in place. Time spent on video games, making frivolous purchases, communications in text or social media. What kind of news or content you're sharing. You'll also be connected to your friends who can affect your score negatively. There's special incentives for being an early adopter. It's using the video game achievement model for controlling its citizens. People have already been banned from domestic flights within China or getting business tickets on the train based on their scores. There are incentives being suggested for having a better score to have things like free shipping or a faster internet. All good dictatorships depend on citizens snitching on each other. It's reminiscient of the US struggles with McCarthyism to spy on your neighbors to report if they were Communists. It's not that farfetched that we're in a similar situation in the US with our credit system and how much it affects your ability to do things. US citizens just happen to be more subservient to corporations, as opposed to China who is more government-based. This is a system designed to rate how good of a citizen you are based on the whims of the Communist Party. It tracks your credit - like western systems - but goes deeper into what you buy, what you post, and who your friends are in an attempt to nudge you into the party approved direction. Here is the news.A total of 9.4 million Chinese high school students have sat for the Gaokao, the annual national college entrance exam which fell on June the 7th to 9th this year as always.The test is often called a battle to determine a student's future, as the results can decide whether a student goes to college, back to school for another year, or starts a career.Because the stakes are high, cheating is a recurring problem.During the first day, two hours after the test began, media reports alleged a surrogate exam-taker in Nanchang, the capital of Jiangxi Province in east China, have been detected.The provincial education department immediately investigated and apprehended the suspect in a high school exam room with the police in attendance, less than half an hour before the first test ended.The suspect admitted to being a stand in, and further investigations are under way.The Ministry of Education, meanwhile, says it has asked the public security ministry to oversee the investigation. Cheating in the Gaokao can amount to a punishable crime in serious cases.Though the scams will never disappear, the Gaokao has become a fairer game since last year with new rules being enforced. It is a traveler from South Korea.MERS is a respiratory illness caused by a coronavirus, similar to Sever Acute Respiratory Syndrome, or SARS. The first human case emerged in Saudi Arabia in 2012. It will study the effects of the Sun on the Earth's environment. The study aims at creating images of the interactions between solar winds and the Earth's magnetosphere with innovative X-ray and ultraviolet technology.Previously, the European Space Agency contributed to China's Double Star, similar satellite mission launched in 2003 to focus on the impact of the Sun on the Earth's environment.SMILE will be the first comprehensive collaboration between China and the European Space Agency with joint efforts in definition, implementation and data utilization. A student in Shanghai Jiaotong University has made a cockroach move using the human mind.Li Guang-ye, a postgraduate student of the university, implanted live cockroaches with microelectrodes that stimulate certain nerves in the insects' antennae, allowing him to control the insect using a remote control.To achieve this, the controller needs to wear a portable wireless brain wave collecting device to ensure the controller's directional intention is recognized by a computer.Then the computer transfers the directional intention into controlling signal and sends it to the electronic backpack receiver on the back of the cockroach; then according to the commanding signal of the controller, the electronic backpack sends specific pulse to the nerve of the cockroach's antennae which has been implanted with a microelectrode.By virtue of the Bluetooth communication technology, the controller can form a wireless communication link between the computer and the electronic backpack through intrusive electrical nerve stimulation techniques. This enables the control of the cockroach by human beings.The invention won a second prize in a nationwide students' video contest earlier this year and will be displayed in one of the top-level technology conferences in China later in 2015.This is NEWS Plus Special English.Two grocery stores with unmanned checkouts have completed a one-day trial in Beijing and the eastern city of Hangzhou, with the intention of testing the integrity of customers.A QR code and guidance were placed in a cashier-free outlet belonging to the Vanguard supermarket chain in downtown Hangzhou.Customers assume the job of the cashier by scanning bar codes themselves. They have been able to pay via mobile phone or put cash in an honesty box.The grocery store sold products worth 16,700 yuan, roughly 2,700 U.S. dollars, but only received payment to the amount of 13,700 yuan from customers. In the Beijing outlet under AMPM, a convenience store chain, staff said some customers stole products or paid less. A Vanguard executive said cashier-free supermarkets reduce queuing time and are developing fast abroad. With an improved credit system, the Vanguard executive expects more cashier-free grocery stores to open in China.There are cashier-free stores in other parts of China including the northeastern province of Jilin and eastern province of Shandong.The trial was jointly run by the two store chains and Sesame Credit, a credit scoring service introduced by a financial affiliate of e-commerce giant Alibaba. Now the news continues.The State Forestry Administration of China has published guidelines on protecting the country's desertified land.The guideline advised more than 1.2 million square kilometers of desertified land in China be closed off as a protection zone so as to control drifting sand and improve the environment.The guidelines will be effective from July this year to the end of 2020. The guidelines ban activities including cutting down trees, cultivating land, animal grazing, and misuse of water in the protected zones. Construction of railways and highways is forbidden.
