HT1484 - God's Own Softbox I first heard someone refer to a high thin cloud cover as "God's own softbox" years and years ago. Because I never spent any time as a studio photographer, I didn't know what a softbox was. I did know I loved the soft shadows and lovely contrast that high, thin clouds create. It's an almost perfect lighting for landscapes.

Padroneggiare l'illuminazione di una scena è il modo giusto per riuscire a creare un'immagine di qualità che trasmetta autorevolezza e dia credibilità al contenuto. Vediamo come poter costruire uno schema di luce semplice ed efficace che trasformerà completamente il look dei tuoi video. E' uno schema semplice ma di grande impatto basato su 2/3 fonti di luce: Luce chiave, o luce principale, ovvero la fonte da utilizzare per illuminare la scena. Seconda fonte di luce di schiarita o riempimento, per andare ad ammorbidire le ombre Per separare il soggetto dallo sfondo si può aggiungere un controluce o back light. La soluzione al problema della luce sta nell'utilizzare una fonte di luce alla giusta temperatura colore, e con la giusta diffusione. Per quanto riguarda il discorso temperatura colore, ti basta scegliere un qualsiasi dispositivo di illuminazione led che faccia luce bianca, sono disponibili tantissimi faretti a batteria che fanno una potente luce che può essere anche regolata sia per intensità che per colore, ti metto i link in descrizione di alcuni dei prodotti che utilizzo. Una luce molto diretta non va bene per fare video, perchè crea ombre profonde sopratutto se è posta davanti a te, creando zone scure sullo sfondo. Per evitare questo puoi usare dei Softbox, sono dei diffusori in tessuto che vanno messi davanti ad una luce per diffonderla e renderla più morbida. Una luce morbida è più bella, piu armoniosa e ti permette di evitare di avere delle brutte ombre nere nell'immagine. Un softbox più è grande e più diffonde la luce naturalmente, ma può essere scomodo da avere dentro casa perchè sono abbastanza ingombranti. POSIZIONE DELLA LUCE PRINCIPALE Il consiglio che dò a tutte le persone che costruiscono il proprio setup è quello di posizionare la luce principale dietro alla camera, leggermente più in alto e inclinata in avanti, posizionata a circa 45 gradi su uno dei lati. Questo perchè in questo modo ci sarà un lato a favore della luce, più esposto, e un altro lato invece meno illuminato, creando un gioco di luci ed ombre che dà profondità all'immagine. La posizione della luce principale non deve essere troppo laterale rispetto al soggetto che parla, deve sempre arrivare ad illuminare anche l'occhio dal lato meno esposto, in modo che chi guarda il video avrà l'impressione di essere al centro dell'attenzione di chi parla. POSIZIONE DELLA LUCE DI SCHIARITA La luce di riempimento va chiaramente dalla parte opposta alla luce principale (quindi idealmente a 45 gradi dalla parte opposta alla luce principale) Deve avere idealmente la stessa temperatura colore della luce principale, ma intensità minore: è una luce che va a riempire le ombre sul lato meno esposto alla luce principale, rendendo più armoniosa la scena, E' importante che questa luce non sovrasti quella principale altrimenti andremo ad annullare tutto il lavoro fatto per costruire la nostra illuminazione POSIZIONE DEL CONTROLUCE La posizione della 3a luce è abbastanza libera, in quanto il suo scopo è quello di creare un distacco tra il soggetto e lo sfondo. Posizionata dietro il soggetto da un lato o magari vicino allo sfondo per renderlo più luminoso, questa luce crea un contorno luminoso nella figura in primo piano, che automaticamente lo separa da ciò che è in secondo piano o sullo sfondo, in modo da creare grande distacco e rendere l'immagine più profonda e tridimensionale. Può essere una luce di qualsiasi colore, anche colorata, l'importante è che si armonizzi con la scena e non diventi essa stessa una distrazione per il pubblico che guarda il video.

Direi proprio di si….ti basta avere gli accessori giusti Il video di oggi è un video un pochino diverso dal solito perchè sarà girato in parte con il mio iphone 13pro. Ho deciso di fare questo video per capire anche io quelle che sono davvero le potenzialità di questo gioiello, e sopratutto per condividere con te la mia esperienza. Il setup per questo video è esattamente lo stesso che ho progettato per i miei video con relfex/mirrorless ed è composto da una luce principale, una luce LED con SOFTBOX fondamentale per riuscire ad avere la giusta illuminazione, e che mi permette di avere una bella luce diffusa che illumina la mia figura senza creare ombre brutte sullo sfondo. Il LED è posizionato da un lato rispetto al mio Iphone, per creare una illuminazione dinamica interessante, con un gioco di ombre che crea tridimensionalità. Per quanto riguarda l'audio, sto usando un microfono WirelessGo della Rode, con il trasmettitore collegato ad un microfono lavalier che ho qui messo vicino alla bocca, e la ricevente collegata all'iphone attraverso un cavetto adattatore audio che trasforma l'ingresso jack in connettore lightning. L'Iphone è montato su un supporto Manfrotto che mi permette di posizionarlo comodamente sul tavolo che ho qui davanti, consentendo la giusta inclinazione. Per realizzare questo video sto utilizzando l'app DoubleTake di FilmicPro, un'app incredibile perchè permette di registrare contemporaneamente il video da 2 delle camere dell'Iphone, con varie possibilità. E' possibile avere le due riprese separate, una picture in picture (magari se vogliamo registrare sia qualcosa con la camera posteriore che noi stessi con la camera selfie), un video split screen, con il video diviso in 2 tra le due immagini riprese. E' molto comoda perchè poi in fase di montaggio è molto semplice passare da una camera all'altra per ottenere un video più ricco ed elaborato. Il tutto impostato a 1080p / 24fps per ottenere un'immagine cinematografica di alta qualità. A partir de mayo de 1961, Newton trabajó intensamente y con regularidad para la edición francesa de Vogue de la que más adelante se convierte en editor jefe, la revista de moda que a lo largo de 25 años publicaría sus mejores fotos. También trabajó en esa época para las ediciones americanas, italianas y alemanas de Vogue, Linea Italiana, Queen, Nova, Jardin des Modes, Marie Claire y Elle. El estilo de Helmut Newton era único, había aprendido de una buena maestra y había perfeccionado su lente durante los años. Sus fotografías eran elegantes, sofisticadas y a la vez un poco atrevidas. Muchas de sus fotos exploran la sexualidad femenina desde varias facetas, es por ello, que comienza a plasmar en imágenes el lesbianismo y el sadomasoquismo, entre otros. El 23 de enero de 2004, Helmut Newton fallecía en un accidente de coche. El fotógrafo perdió el control de su Cadillac se comenta que debido a un ataque al corazón- y se estrelló contra el hotel Chateau Marmont de Hollywood (Los Ángeles), en el que se alojaba. June logra sobrevivir al accidente, sin embargo, pocos minutos después de ingresar al hospital, Helmut pierde la vida. El artista tenía 83 años y seguía activo, en vida pudo recibir una serie de galardones y reconocimientos importantes. Indudablemente su fallecimiento enlutó el mundo del arte. On today’s episode of The Real Estate Podcast, Jimmy goes through 20 tips to maximize video performance. From audio to post-production and publishing, check out his suggestions to elevate your video production efforts to the next level. But remember that you can get started with video creation right on your smartphone. While many of these tips and tricks involve using different software and equipment, if that’s out of your price range, just start shooting!  Recording Use Bombbomb to send video emails; it’s great for adding a personal touch to professional communication. If you’ve somehow lived the past year without hearing of Zoom, we applaud you. Nevertheless, it’s a great software that offers split-screen recording during virtual interviews. Want to step your recording up a notch? Jimmy uses a Sony A7III with an 18-105mm F4 lens, and it offers many capabilities beyond the iPhone, like light adjustment and background blur. Audio Poor audio turns many people off of a video. Using a lapel mic is a great starting point to ensure quality audio, and they are portable and easy to use.  The Saramonic Blink 500 receiver can shoot from a more extended range or walking, giving you great flexibility when recording. Sennheiser MK600 is a great boom mic that sets above and out of the shot to give excellent audio without being seen on camera. Lighting In general, always face windows rather than have them behind you; front-facing and natural light sources are always the best options. If natural lighting isn’t an option, consider a clip-on selfie ring light. This small device can clip over your iPhone or laptop and provide a lighting source for anything you’re filming.  Tall selfie ring lights are another option that allows a camera to sit in the middle of the light source, giving everything in the shot an even light coverage.  Softbox lights offer more diffused lighting that can be easily focused on a specific area. However, they aren’t the best for lighting a moving target. Post-production Use platforms like Fiverr.com to get professional intro and outro templates. Jimmy recommends various editing software for beginners, such as Videolicious, Camtasia, and Apple iMovie. However, the software he uses is Adobe Premiere Pro because of the immense versatility it offers, but it’s definitely for intermediate to advanced-level editors. If you’re looking for royalty-free background music, platforms like Epidemic Sound offer music in multiple styles for a monthly subscription fee that you can use on your projects. Publishing Keywords Everywhere is a great tool that helps determine the best keywords to maximize traffic to your video. Tubebuddy helps generate compelling titles for your videos.
