Today we're talking nerdy about how the experience of love changes your brain. This solo episode with Alex Nashton will explore the neuroscience of love, how the experience of love changes your brain chemically and structurally, how different types of love impact the brain differently, and the impact on your brain and nervous system when love is lost. This episode will focus primarily on romantic love, but will also look at the love parents have for children, owners have for pets, love between friends, and love for nature & activities. Today's episode is inspired by the Thriving Relationships Coach Certification program that Alex is currently a student in. Today I'm talking with Kristin Leal: a teacher, lecturer and body worker who travels the world with her MetaAnatomy trainings passionately sharing about the miracle of the human body and the liberating potential of both movement and stillness.
