A unidade, a quarta criada na atual gestão, iniciou neste mês as atividades e recebeu investimentos de R$ 6,4 milhões em obras estruturais e aquisição de equipamentos.

He spent much of his life in academia, starting with a Bachelor's in Physics from Yerevan State University in his home country, Armenia, followed by a Master's in Physics from ETH and then a PhD in Biomedical Imaging from the University of Bern, but dropped out shortly before finishing it to start SuperAnnotate with his brother, Vahan.  He was drawn to Switzerland for its exceptional study opportunities and found his passion for AI during his time at ETH Zurich. While he was doing his PhD, Tigran and his brother entered an expo with an early prototype of the SuperAnnotate management system, where they not only won but gained investment traction, which clearly signaled to Tigran that they needed to start a company as soon as possible, even if it meant not completing his PhD. Being brothers and co-founders, Tigran and Vahan emphasize the advantages of their strong bond and collaborative decision-making. Today, their company caters to key industries such as healthcare, big tech, and robotics. They want to continue driving innovation in AI data management, and their goals for expansion are ambitious. El emperador Heraclio (610-641) había logrado imponer su autoridad sobre el Imperio bizantino tras un largo periodo de peligros externos y debilidades internas y empezaba su lenta recuperación. Sin embargo, nadie podía prever que en la península arábiga se producirían cambios trascendentales durante su reinado. En el 622 tiene lugar la Hégira y diez años después fallece el Profeta. El impulso expansivo de la nueva fe, el islam, sorprendería a todos sus vecinos, Bizancio incluido, que se aprestó a hacer frente a la ofensiva islámica en Siria. En agosto del año 636, un ejército en el que se hallaba Jalid ibn al-Walid, uno de los generales del califa Omar, se enfrentó a tropas bizantinas dirigidas por Vahan y Teodoro en el río Yarmuk. Los detalles de la batalla no son todo lo claros que nos gustaría, pero, aparte de la pericia del ejército islámico, las claves de la derrota de la fuerza bizantina, en teoría mejor preparada y armada, parecen estar en los problemas entre los dos generales y en una fatal descoordinación entre las distintas unidades. En la conferencia se pasará revista a la composición de ambos ejércitos, a las principales fases de la batalla, a los movimientos y al número de tropas, así como a los problemas que surgen en la cadena de mando bizantina y que propiciaron uno de los acontecimientos más sorprendentes del episodio, como fue el despeñamiento de la mayor parte del ejército bizantino por los barrancos del río Yarmuk, presa del pánico (algo que posiblemente exageraron los autores musulmanes). A pesar de que el propio Heraclio pudo llevar a cabo una (más o menos) ordenada evacuación de Siria, la derrota bizantina significó la pérdida definitiva de ese territorio; pocos años después caería en manos musulmanas Jerusalén y, al año siguiente de la muerte de Heraclio, Alejandría, permitiendo la inmediata expansión del islam hacia Occidente.
