La Fundación Abogados de Atocha entrega el premio que lleva su nombre a las Madres y Abuelas de la Plaza de  Mayo, por su lucha por la memoria, la verdad y la justicia. El domingo 25 de enero  se cumplen 49 años de la matanza de los abogados laboralistas de Atocha y en marzo se cumplen 50 años del golpe de estado en Argentina y la dictadura militar que costó la vida a miles de personas, las secuestraron y desaparecieron. Robaron centenares de bebés. El actual gobierno de Javier Milei está borrando la memoria de este horror. Està minimizando los hechos e incluso califcándolos como un "exceso" en las actuaciones del gobierno militar. El riesgo es que los jóvenes, que han nacido en democracia, lo ven como algo lejano y que no les puede pasar a ellos. Hablamos con Nacho de este nuevo disco y de su larga y cálida relación con Grecia.- "La Alianza por una Alimentación Saludable", es una iniciativa que engloba a diferentes organizaciones e instituciones públicas y de la sociedad civil y acaban de enviar una carta al presidente del gobierno de España para reactivar la regulación de la publicidad de alimentos y bebidas insanas dirigidas a la población más joven. Esta propuesta pretende dar un paso importante en la protección de la población más vulnerable ante el aumento del consumo de comida basura, pues diferentes estudios científicos señalan los graves riesgos para la salud que conllevan estos alimentos y bebidas ultraprocesadas. La autorregulación de las propias empresas anunciantes, en la que se confío en un principio, ha demostrado su ineficacia y tenemos que hacer frente a serios problemas, como, por ejemplo, que más de un tercio de los niños y niñas españoles con edades comprendidas entre los 6 y los 9 años presentan exceso de peso, con los riesgos que eso supone para su salud. Muchas especies de serpientes también cuidan de sus críos. Sorprendentemente, los científicos han aprendido que inclusive algunas plantas han sido diseñadas con instintos “maternales”.El llantén es una hierba común norteamericana y cuando florece, mientras más caliente mantiene a sus semillas en desarrollo, más semillas producirán sus crías. Los investigadores han encontrado que las temperaturas de aire más frescas causan que la planta madre produzcan un grupo de flores más oscuras. El color más oscuro absorbe más energía radiante del sol y esto da a sus críos un empuje en la vida aún antes de brotar. La planta tiradora, como se le conoce comúnmente en el sureste americano, hace algo similar. Florece durante varios meses en el verano del sur. Las brácteas en forma de hojas que envainan cada grupo de flores tienen un pigmento café. Los investigadores observaron las plantas durante varios meses y encontraron que las brácteas que se formaban en el clima más fresco de abril, eran más oscuras que las brácteas que se formaban en junio donde su clima es más cálido. El nivel más alto de pigmento café en abril permitía que las brácteas absorban más luz infrarroja que ayuda a calentar las flores.¿Donde aprendieron aquellas plantas la física necesaria, sin mencionar la genética, para producir estas provisiones maternales? El caso de Claudia Mijangos marcó para siempre la historia de Querétaro. Aunque han pasado décadas, aún genera preguntas, dudas y versiones que van desde lo psicológico hasta lo paranormal. En este episodio, el Dr. Apolonio Gasca, perito forense con más de 20 años de experiencia, analiza a detalle el expediente y las fotografías del caso, explicando qué ocurrió desde una perspectiva profesional y científica. El doctor no estuvo presente en la escena aquella madrugada, pero años después tuvo acceso directo a la carpeta, a las imágenes forenses y a los dictámenes originales. Con su experiencia reconstruye cómo se interpretan las manchas, cómo se determina el orden de los hechos, qué revelan las lesiones y por qué este expediente sigue siendo tan impactante para los expertos. Además, comparte momentos de su carrera en los que ha enfrentado escenas difíciles, experiencias que lo marcaron como perito y situaciones que incluso lo llevaron a vivir fenómenos que muchos describen como paranormales. También reflexiona sobre cómo ha evolucionado la medicina forense en México y por qué hoy es más necesaria que nunca.
