Sources said Warner died on Sunday at Costa Rica's Playa Grande Beach while on a family vacation. The beach has been called "challenging," and there were signs in English and Spanish warning about the risk of drowning. There were no lifeguards present due to a lack of resources. The Caribbean Guard stated, "Although there were people on the beach who entered the water to rescue him, they did not arrive in time. He was pulled from underwater without vital signs, and despite CPR maneuvers being performed on the beach, resuscitation was unsuccessful."Warner was 54.
