In March 2020 when the pandemic hit, Michal created a campaign she titled KARANA (call out to G-d) that raised funds for families impacted. Michal is an outspoken advocate for Israel and has developed a social media following where she shares truthful censored information to thousands. Recently her 22K Instagram account @mlwdesignny (as well as 2 backups) were de-platformed with no explanation, fueling her to continue onward and not give up. She attributes her tenacity and strength to the tragic murder of her father at age 10 and the hardships that followed. During the early days of quarantine, Michal began writing and publicly sharing a memoir that was very well received and she hopes to finish it soon. Israeli Democracy is under attack. Is it really in danger? That was my discussion with Uri Zaki. Uri is the founder of The Front & Chair of the Meretz Executive Board   Following military service as an officer in the Israel Defense Forces, Uri embarked on a career that that focused on promoting peace and challenging the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories.  He was a senior advisor to former Justice Minister and peace camp leader, Yossi Beilin. He took part in the talks that formulated the Geneva initiative and was the main spokesperson of the initiative. Between 2010-2013 Uri was the Director of B'Tselem USA, a Washington-based non-profit representing the Israeli human rights organization in the US. Uri later was the Israel Advocacy & Public Outreach Consultant at Human Rights Watch. Uri held several positions in the Meretz Party, among them Chair of Young Meretz, Member of the Executive Board, and President of the Governing Assembly. In the 2019 national elections, he was the Director of the Strategic Team of the campaign. In 2020 Uri was elected as the party's Executive Board. Uri serves on the Financial Committee of the Association of Civil Rights in Israel. Today, Uri leads the Front (for the Protection of Democracy) – a unique organization in the Israeli progressive landscape that acts as an assertive “attack-dog” against the new-right and its anti-democratic infrastructure via opposition research, media campaigns, and legal action.   Uri holds a law degree (LLB) from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a Master's degree (LLM) in Human Rights Law at the Emile Zola Chair for Human Rights at the College for Academic Management Studies. Uri is a frequent contributor to the Israeli, American and international media. The murder of American-Israeli Ari Fuld by a Palestinian reveals that their 'pay-for-slay’ program still works to inspire terror! Ari Fuld was a 45-year-old father of four, a marketer, social media consultant, speaker, and internet video host, who moved from Queens to Efrat, Israel, because he loved the country and wanted to help spread a better understanding of its history and culture throughout the world. But, his dreams were cut short when a Palestinian terrorist, Khalil Yusef Ali Jabarin, fatally stabbed him at a shopping mall in a settlement south of Jerusalem. Bleeding, Ari proved himself a hero when he chased his assailant and shot him, so that he couldn’t attack others. But, unlike Ari, not only did the terrorist survive, the Palestinians consider him a martyr and, through the Palestinian Authority’s ‘Martyr’s Fund’, his family was paid handsomely for his act of terror, and will continue to be paid while he is in an Israeli jail.
