We get to review two of our favorite breweries. Verdant's Track and Field is a big DIPA made with Simcoe and Mosaic hops. It's a big, delicious treat of a beer. You can't ask for more until you get Evil Twin NYC's I Instantly Get Annoyed By Any Hybrid Food Creation No Matter How Delicious It Sounds. This is an insanely good TIPA made with Citra and Riwaka hops. HOLY COW...is this an insanely good beer. At only 10.1% abv, you'll happily crush this and wonder why you're waking up on the floor.
Hey whats going on good people i hope you enjoy this episode of The Oyster Ninja Podcast. Today im Interviewing the CO-owner of Rocket Frog Brewery in Sterling Va.
In This episode, Day and her guest co-host, Samantha Bugler, sit down with Amy Brimicombe to discuss food and how she utilizes it to build community at the coworking space she manages. Listen to this episode for insight on Salems food scene and event planning tips.

We welcome Russ back to the basement after his two week hiatus. We catch up on what he was up to, as well as his thoughts on the death of Stan Lee. We cover the asinine comments made by Bill Maher regarding Stan Lee passing and people's reactions. We talk about how it looks like Disney is going to own the box office in 2019 with the huge number of big movies they have coming out next year. We wrap it up discussing a new D&D character class created by a company for marketing purposes, that could actually be, somewhat, playable.
It's been two years since we started this silly podcast. We briefly talk about some of our favorite times from the last couple of years. We also discuss the movie Destination Wedding that Russ just recently watched. We get into the amazing opening weekend for Red Dead Redemption 2, and the replay-ability of video games. We wrap it all up with a new edition of our Schoolyard Pick'ems.
It's 8:15 on Monday night as I walk into Five Cities Brewing in Bettendorf, Iowa. The first thing you notice is the brewing equipment. The gorgeous brewing equipment, copper, and stainless steel sit in front of pristine wide, white, beveled subway tile enclosed behind glass. An excellent backdrop as you take a seat at the bar. I had the opportunity to have a great conversation about Five Cities with Head Brewer and owner Matt Welding listening to his passion for every small detail of running a great brewery and we enjoyed some great beers too.
This week we have a big announcement regarding our 100th episode. We also talk about Buffy the Vampire Slayer and what is happening with the comic book. We take a quick look at the newly announced board game from White Wolf, Vampire: The Masquarade - Heritage. We discuss Amazon and their video game pre-order policy. We finish things off with some news about comics and casting for one of the upcoming DC Universe shows.
Happy Halloween tap heads! Grab a pint and cozy up, the gentlemen are drinking Stone Brewing Company's Enjoy By 10.31.17 for their beer of the week. But it's getting real basic in the bullpen. It's The Beer Girl is back and she's taking us on a tour through the Samuel Adams Beers of Fall pack. Greg talks about his wedding drinking challenge (and getting pretty drunk at the wedding), trying some great beers and more. A listener writes in wanting to know what beer to keep on hand for guests. There's an NFL survey among players trying to find out who talks to most crap in the league. For the Bullpen beer, it's getting basic as the guys compare two different pumpkin beers against each other.
