Send us a textToday's meditation is a simple practice of Being Still with the purpose of listening for the Voice of God.. And specifically waiting on the Presence of the Spirit to gain clarity & guidance for course correction.Did you know that if an airplane is flying a great distance & takes off with a trajectory that's even just one degree off, it will end up at a completely different location than its intended destination? In today's meditation we reflect on how long it would take for us to get completely off course if we're heading even one degree off a certain desired behaviour or mindset.Christian Meditation content & resources:LinkTree (SHARE with your friends!)Patreon (BEST way to support!)Insight Timer (FREE Christian Meditations!!)Harkening Deer | Christian Meditation More Meditation Content & Resources:Harkening Deer | Universally Inclusive MeditationAura (30-Day Guest Pass to the full app!)Other ways to support:Donate to Harkening DeerCheck out Harkening Deer on Instagram. Submission guidelines can be found at http://www.TallTaleTV.com ---- About Tall Tale TV ---- Hi there! My name is Chris Herron and I'm an audiobook narrator. In 2015, I suffered from poor Type 1 diabetes control which lead me to become legally blind for almost a year. The doctors didn't give me much hope, predicting an 80% chance that I would never see again. But I refused to give up and changed my lifestyle drastically. Through sheer willpower (and an amazing eye surgeon) I beat the odds and regained my vision. During that difficult time, I couldn't read or write, which was devastating as they had always been a source of comfort for me since childhood. However, my wife took me to the local library where she read out the titles of audiobooks to me. I selected some of my favorite books, such as the Disc World series, Name of the Wind, Harry Potter, and more, and the audiobooks brought these stories to life in a way I had never experienced before. They helped me through the darkest period of my life and I fell in love with audiobooks. Once I regained my vision, I decided to pursue a career as an audiobook narrator instead of a writer. That's why I created Tall Tale TV, to support aspiring authors in the writing communities that I had grown to love before my ordeal. My goal was to help them promote their work by providing a promotional audio short story that showcases their writing skills to readers. They say the strongest form of advertising is word of mouth, so I offer a platform for readers to share these videos and help spread the word about these talented writers. Please consider sharing these stories with your friends and family to support these amazing authors. Listener and friend Paul Stolp prompted this conversation/episode, mentioning how he thought a “course correction” episode would be fun. What is a course correction? Paul offered the example of Judas Priest's Ram it Down being the wipeout and Painkiller being the glorious correction. Naturally, this got our gears turning, and this is the conversation that resulted. As Hunter notes in this episode, “a course correction is not necessarily an achievement, but more that you got back on your path.” (Driving mishap analogies abound in this episode.) And we want to hear from you: what are YOUR favorite examples of the Course Correction? Note I: Finally, after years of toil, and then a tragedy, Jeff's latest book (Always Moving: The Strange Multiverse of Voivod) is finally available. This podcast is conceived and conducted by Jeff Wagner and Hunter Ginn. Though we consume music in a variety of ways, we give particular privilege to the immersive, full-album listening experience. Likewise, we believe that tangible music formats help provide the richest, most rewarding immersions and that music, artwork, and song titles cooperate to produce a singular effect on the listener. Great music is worth more than we ever pay for it.

In previous weeks, the Fed's easing expectations appear to have been driving all markets, sending equities higher, credit spreads tighter, and the USD and US yields lower. However, better US data this week have resulted in some rate cut expectations to unwind. Markets will be in for another big test next week, with the US Payrolls report and the significant risk of a US government shutdown. “Prepping for the GMAT was one of the biggest, most self-motivated projects of my adult life. It gave me concrete feedback I hadn't experienced in years. Improvement wasn't visible every day, but I could see how my effort turned into results.” In this episode of Inside the GMAT, GMAC Zach sits down with Julia Shackelford, who earned a perfect GMAT score of 805, but insists the real story is everything behind the number. Julia shares how months of disciplined practice, self-reflection, and resilience transformed not only her test performance but also her confidence in tackling challenges far beyond the GMAT. Together, Zach and Julia explore what it really takes to succeed on the GMAT, why natural ability matters less than consistent effort, and how shifting your focus from outcomes to process can change the way you see yourself. About Our Guest: Julia earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Arkansas in 2015 and spent the following nine years in banking, where she focused on lending, business development, training, and compliance. She now specializes in helping students excel on exams like the GMAT. She hopes to use what she learned through preparing for her own exam to improve the experience of other students. The GDP Report on Wednesday was about as good as anyone including President Trump could have hoped for it to be. Not only did the 3% growth rate blow away Wall Street expectations (2.3%), and even the Atlanta Federal Reserve's recently elevated expectations (2.9%), it also came with the added bonus of significantly less consumer inflation.

If you have a good ecosystem it will balance itself. It will invite things in it needs and remove things it doesn't. Nature is perfectly adapted for this. Leftists worry about some animal or organism becoming extinct, and Nature just laughs. Something will fill every void.As full of ourselves as we are, the earth would not miss us, if we were to leave…I don't know what one man will do to another man. But I know that Nature doesn't give a crap.If we want to live like heathens, Nature doesn't care. Litter, burn trash in the open, it doesn't matter.Or live clean, recycle, and so on. Nature will adapt.I was going to speak on Israel and Iran last week, but I decided to wait and see what happened over the weekend.See Privacy Policy at https://art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at https://art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-my-info.
