Most people think they need more motivation. The real problem may be that they are relying on the wrong fuel altogether. In this episode, Mykie Stiller and Arash Vossoughi explore the difference between motivation and drive, and why lasting success depends on more than temporary feelings. Drawing on Arash's own experience, they unpack the shift from relying on bursts of motivation to building the discipline needed for consistent results. The conversation explores the connection between drive and identity, why some goals inspire greater follow-through than others, and how self-belief influences the standards we set for ourselves. Along the way, they challenge common assumptions about consistency and explain why true drive comes from falling in love with an idea rather than forcing yourself to take action. Why do so many people know exactly what they need to do... yet still refuse to do it?   They know they need to get healthier.   They know they need to stop destructive habits.   They know they need to start the business.   They know they need to have the hard conversation.   Yet they continue repeating the same patterns, making the same excuses, and staying stuck in the same place year after year.   In this episode of The Super Human Life, Coach Frank Rich sits down with entrepreneur, speaker, and transformational coach Arash Vossoughi for a powerful conversation on identity, self-image, personal growth, and the hidden mental patterns that determine the trajectory of your life.   Drawing from nearly two decades of coaching experience and his years working alongside legendary mentor Bob Proctor, Arash reveals why information alone rarely changes lives and why lasting transformation only happens when you change who you believe yourself to be.   Together, Frank and Arash unpack the difference between knowing and doing, the role of the subconscious mind in shaping behavior, why most people unknowingly sabotage their own success, and how raising your standards can completely transform every area of your life.   Whether you're trying to grow your business, improve your health, strengthen your relationships, break free from limiting beliefs, or become the man you know you're capable of being, this episode will challenge the way you think about success, identity, and personal transformation.   In This Episode: Why most people know what to do but never do it   The difference between information and transformation   How identity shapes your results in every area of life   Why you cannot outperform your self-image   The hidden beliefs keeping people stuck   How to discipline your thinking and break negative thought patterns   The power of accepting and rejecting ideas   Why standards matter more than goals   The role of commitment in creating lasting change   How to stop living from your past and start creating your future   The importance of coachability and mentorship   Lessons Arash learned directly from Bob Proctor   Why investing in yourself is one of the highest ROI decisions you'll ever make   The relationship between worthiness, success, and fulfillment   How to create transformation through daily action   What it truly means to live life on your own terms   About Arash Vossoughi Arash Vossoughi is an entrepreneur, speaker, coach, and the Founder and President of Voss Coaching Co., a global coaching and personal development company dedicated to helping individuals unlock their potential and create extraordinary results in business, wealth, leadership, relationships, and life.   For nearly two decades, Arash has coached entrepreneurs, executives, sales professionals, business owners, and high achievers in more than 100 countries around the world. Artificial intelligence continues to dominate supply chain conversations, but why are so many organizations struggling to move beyond pilots and into enterprise-wide success? In this episode of The Buzz powered by APL Logistics, Scott Luton and Alex Pradhan explore the latest research and developments shaping the future of supply chain leadership, AI adoption, omnichannel fulfillment, workforce transformation, and decision intelligence. Special guest Arash Aghlara, Founder and CEO of FlexRule, joins the discussion to share why better decisions—not just better data—may be the key to unlocking supply chain performance. From AI pilot purgatory and omnichannel profitability to talent shortages and protein supply disruptions, this episode tackles some of the most pressing challenges facing supply chain leaders today. Scott, Alex, and Arash dive into new research from leading organizations including MIT, Accenture, GEP, and the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Along the way, they explore the growing importance of governance, the role of decision intelligence in modern operations, and why organizations must move beyond visibility alone to create smarter, faster, and more effective business outcomes.   Key Takeaways: Why nearly three-quarters of organizations have yet to move AI initiatives beyond planning and pilot stages. How decision intelligence helps organizations bridge the gap between data, visibility, and action. Key findings from MIT's latest State of Supply Chain Omnichannel research. Why supply chain leaders must rethink workforce development amid a projected talent shortage. The critical role governance plays in scaling AI and improving operational decision-making. How organizations can identify and manage interconnected decisions across planning, logistics, inventory, and customer service. Why practical execution—not hype—is essential for successful digital transformation.   If you're navigating AI adoption, digital transformation, talent challenges, or increasing supply chain complexity, this episode delivers practical insights and actionable strategies from experienced industry leaders. You'll walk away with a deeper understanding of how decision intelligence can help organizations move beyond visibility, improve execution, and build more resilient supply chains in an increasingly complex business environment.   Additional Links & Resources: APL Logistics: https://www.apllogistics.com/ With That Said: https://bit.ly/WTS-31-May-2026 5 Signs Your Supply Chain Has Outgrown How It's Managed Today: https://bit.ly/5-signs-your-SC-has-outgrown-mgmt Supply Chain AI Is Stuck in Pilot Purgatory Because the Operating Model Is Missing: https://bit.ly/4u4dPyj GEP Webinar: https://bit.ly/10-June-2026-Webinar State of Supply Chain Omnichannel Report: https://bit.ly/3RUcHju Turning the supply chain talent shortage into strength: https://accntu.re/4vkqNZQ Protein powder shortage threatens America's biggest food craze: https://bit.ly/3RIkrFd Upcoming Live Programming:  https://supplychainnow.com/upcoming-live-programming/ Supply Chain Now Resource Hub: https://supplychainnow.com/resource-hub/ FlexRule: https://www.flexrule.com/ The Supply Chain Whisperer on Why Practicality Still Wins: https://bit.ly/Why-Practicality-Still-Matters Connect with Arash on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/arashaghlara/ Connect with Alex on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/alejandrapradhan/ Watch and listen to more Supply Chain Now episodes: https://supplychainnow.com/brands/supply-chain-now/ Subscribe to Supply Chain Now: https://linktr.ee/Supplychainnow Check out the Supply Chain Now Resource Hub: https://supplychainnow.com/resource-hub/ Work with Us! Arash is joined by the full crew — Grant, Mykell, Beav and John Browner — for a deep dive into Game 1 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals. The Cavaliers had a commanding lead and let it slip away in a stunning 30-8 fourth-quarter collapse, handing the Knicks a dramatic overtime victory behind Jalen Brunson. The crew breaks down what went wrong for Cleveland, why Donovan Mitchell and James Harden disappeared when it mattered most, and whether Kenny Atkinson's timeout management cost them the game. Then the conversation shifts west — is anyone in the East actually capable of beating the Oklahoma City Thunder or the San Antonio Spurs? Victor Wembanyama's historic performance in the West has the crew questioning whether this Knicks team, as good as they are, is truly ready for that level. In the second segment, the final shoe drops on what many are calling the worst trade in NBA history — the Luka Dončić deal. With Nico Harrison already gone and Jason Kidd now fired, the Dallas Mavericks have officially torn everything down. The crew debates whether this surpasses the Clippers trading Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to OKC, what it means for Cooper Flagg's future in Dallas, and whether the Lakers can actually build a championship around Luka. Grinding harder does not always move you closer to your goals. In this episode, Arash and Mykie unpack why so many people confuse activity with real progress and how staying busy can often become a distraction from the work that actually creates results. They explore the difference between grit and grinding, why hustle culture leads to exhaustion instead of growth, and how many people end up filling their days with comfortable tasks that never truly move the needle. The conversation breaks down how to identify goal-achieving activities, apply the 80/20 principle, and eliminate distractions that drain time and energy. Arash also explains why awareness is the foundation for change, how mentorship can expose blind spots, and why real progress comes from consistent action on a few high-impact activities. If you've been working hard without seeing the results you want, this episode offers a practical perspective on creating meaningful progress.Key Points From This Episode:Why most people confuse activity with real progress. The difference between grit, grinding, and busy work. Why progress can come from doing far less. How to identify the activities that actually move the needle.Using the 80/20 principle to focus on top-performing actions.Tracking your time to expose non-productive habits. Why awareness is the first step toward meaningful progress. How comfort-zone activities keep people stuck. Why mentorship helps uncover blind spots and accelerate growth. The power of doing three goal-achieving activities every day.Dopamine hits from completing tasks and how this can trap you.How your future self can guide better daily decisions.Final takeaway: commit to repeating the actions that move the needle.Links Mentioned in Today's Episode:Grit: The Power of Passion and PerseveranceGood to Great: Why Some Companies Make the Leap...and Others Don'tVoss Coaching CoVoss Coaching Co on LinkedIn Voss Coaching Co on InstagramVoss Coaching Co on FacebookEmail Voss Coaching CoMykie Stiller on LinkedInMykie Stiller on Instagram Arash Vossoughi on LinkedInArash Vossoughi on YouTube

Arash, Grant, Beav, and newest Sporting Tribune member John Browner — a San Diego sports radio veteran with nearly a decade on the air — come together on a very special Drake drop night for a packed episode of TST Today LIVE, heard on KIRN 670 AM in Southern California, 98.5 The Bet in Las Vegas, and the Hawaii Sports Radio Network. The crew breaks down the NBA Playoffs with the Spurs leading the Timberwolves 3-2 heading into a pivotal Game 6 at Target Center. Is Victor Wembanyama already the most dominant force in the postseason? Can Anthony Edwards and a hobbled Wolves squad force a Game 7? The panel weighs in with strong takes on both sides. Then, the LeBron James game ball story takes center stage. John Browner drops a sharp analysis of why this is a classic Klutch Sports media plant — and why the Lakers have done nothing but cater to LeBron for years, from drafting Bronny James to hiring his podcast co-host JJ Reddick as head coach. The guys also react to the NFL Schedule Release, with the Chargers once again setting the gold standard for creative schedule drop videos. John gives a raw, emotional breakdown of what the Chargers' departure meant to San Diego fans — and why Dean Spanos still hasn't been forgiven. Finally, the conversation shifts to the NBA Draft, with John Browner making a passionate case for why Darius Acuff Jr. is being criminally underrated and why the Clippers should absolutely NOT trade away their fifth overall pick. In this episode, Mykie and Arash challenge the idea of plateaus and break down the “wealth identity gap,” the hidden force shaping your results. You'll learn how your standards, behaviors, and expectations drive your income and performance, and why real breakthroughs come from changing your identity, not just working harder. Stop trying to "think" your way into a new life and start behaving your way into one. Most people repeat affirmations until they are blue in the face, but then walk out the door and act like their old selves: a cycle that creates nothing but delusion. Welcome back to another episode of The Seven-Figure Standard Podcast. Today, Mykie and Arash break down how real transformation and real wealth are built through identity, not affirmations alone. They explore why affirmations work for some but fall flat for others, what actually gives them power, and how your daily actions shape who you're becoming. They also dig into the hidden downsides of affirmations, the role of discomfort and speed in growth, and why action, not intention, is the clearest signal of your future self. Tune in to learn why what you do will always outweigh what you say.Key Points From This Episode:They jump into today's topic of discussion. Why affirmations work for some people and not others. What identity is mostly built on.When affirmations fail most often.Arash explains what gives affirmations power. How your actions and decisions signal the direction your identity is going in advance. He explains how affirmations can actually have a negative impact. They unpack how one decision has the power to change your life: speed and decision.Speed: a wealth indicator of note.Arash explains why your spiritual side is the highest potential of your personality. How speed is expressed behaviorally.A decision most people are avoiding. He breaks down how identity is what you decide under pressure.Examples of evidence and the standards Arash places on evidence. How you can use affirmations as an intention or a barometer. Arash shares his approach to looking at evidence. The role comfort plays when people lean into affirmations and away from decision-making/taking action. Why what you say matters less than what you do.Final thoughts on today's topic from Arash.Links Mentioned in Today's Episode:Voss Coaching CoVoss Coaching Co on LinkedIn Voss Coaching Co on InstagramVoss Coaching Co on FacebookEmail Voss Coaching CoMykie Stiller on LinkedInMykie Stiller on Instagram Arash Vossoughi on LinkedInArash Vossoughi on YouTube

Hosts Arash Markazi and Grant Mona are joined by the full panel to break down a pivotal week in Los Angeles sports. From the Lakers' surgical start to the postseason to the Dodgers' puzzling power outage in San Francisco, we cover the highs and lows before pivoting to the gridiron with a final look at the Rams' draft strategy. Segment One: Lakers Take 2-0 Lead | Why the Thunder are Next The Los Angeles Lakers defended home court with a 101–94 victory over the Houston Rockets on Tuesday, taking a commanding 2–0 lead in the series. The Defensive Blueprint: Grant reacts to the Lakers holding Houston under 100 points in back-to-back games without Luka Dončić. Mykell notes that Marcus Smart and Deandre Ayton have transformed this team into a defensive juggernaut that thrives in the half-court. Eyes on OKC: Arash leads a discussion on the potential Round 2 matchup against the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder. While OKC swept the season series (including a 139-96 blowout on April 2nd), Timothy argues the Lakers are a different animal in the playoffs. Beating the MVP: Demetrius points out that the Lakers' size—specifically Ayton and a healthy LeBron—is the kryptonite for OKC's "positionless" small-ball lineups. If the Lakers can keep the game in the mud, they have the veteran poise to upend the top-seeded Thunder. Segment Two: Oracle Park Blues & Rams Draft Philosophy The mood shifts to the diamond, where the Los Angeles Dodgers have suddenly hit a wall against their biggest rivals. The Giants Slide: After a dominant start to the season, the Dodgers lost their second straight to the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday night, falling 3–0. Arash breaks down the offensive stagnation—just one run scored in 18 innings at Oracle Park—and whether there's reason for early-season concern. Dodgers Pitching Watch: Grant highlights the silver lining: the rotation is still keeping them in games, but the bats (specifically the bottom half of the order) have gone cold at the worst time. Rams at No. 13: With the NFL Draft kicking off tonight, the panel debates the Rams' 13th overall pick. Offense is the Answer: Mykell and Demetrius argue the Rams must go offense. Whether it's Makai Lemon (WR, USC) to provide a homegrown spark for Matthew Stafford or a tackle like Spencer Fano (Utah) to protect the pocket, the consensus is that the Rams need to maximize Stafford's remaining window. The "Tyson" Factor: Timothy notes that if Jordyn Tyson (Arizona State) is available, he provides a vertical threat that this offense currently lacks, even with Davante Adams and Puka Nacua in the fold. U.S.-Israel-Iran War update: Arash Azizi on 'scary times' in Tehran, Gregg Carlstrom on fury toward Iran in the Gulf

“It is a time of fear and worry, but also a time of hope” in Iran after the assassination of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in the early days of the U.S.-Israel assault on the regime in Tehran, said Iranian-American scholar and journalist Arash Azizi. “The first thing [my family in Iran] told me was that they called me to say they were alive after Tehran was hit, and there are hundreds of civilian casualties,” said Azizi, speaking on a wartime edition of the Haaretz Podcast. Of Khamenei, he said “most Iranians are happy to see him gone.” Azizi was sharply critical of U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s calls for Iranian civilians to rise up and overthrow their regime. “It's absolutely bonkers,” he said. “If you had a population that had organized networks ready to take over, you could imagine perhaps something like that happening. But we don’t. So both Trump and Netanyahu keep saying this, and it makes me wonder, do they really believe it?” He also had harsh words for Iranian exiles like himself, who he said were unprepared for this moment. “We have not done the work, we have not built organizations, we did not get our act together in a way that would be ready to make a successful transition to democracy.” Also on the podcast: Gregg Carlstrom, The Economist’s Dubai-based Middle East correspondent, reports on the growing anger in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates sparked by the intensity of the Iranian assault that could fuel support among everyday people to pick sides in this conflict. “The question is, what does that mean? Is it allowing America to use bases and Gulf countries to carry out attacks against Iran, or is it going a step further and militarily getting involved with their own warplanes and troops? I think it's more likely that they're willing to do the former than the latter.” Read more: Trump: U.S. Ahead of Schedule in Iran but Can Extend Fighting Beyond Projected 4-5 Weeks Three Israeli Teenage Siblings Among Nine Killed in Iranian Missile Strike on Bomb Shelter Analysis by Amos Harel | As Israeli Defense Officials Push for a Long Offensive, Trump Still Has Doubts Analysis by Zvi Bar'el | Khamenei's Chosen Successor Could Offer Trump a 'Dream Deal' to End the Iran War 'Fire-Starter' or 'Historical Justice'? Anyone can look disciplined when results are rolling in, but pressure reveals whether your performance is emotionally reactive or identity-driven. Real consistency comes from operating in a calm, neutral state.
