It's common to hear, even from those who seem very knowledgeable about the Christian faith and the Bible that "the Trinity is very hard to understand" or that "the Trinity is a mystery," or a similar statement. I STRONGLY disagree! Our God wants us to know Him and understand Him and I don't believe the essential doctrine of the Trinity is difficult when it is explained correctly and supported from what the Bible clearly teaches. That's what this lesson attempts to do. I don't claim credit for the basic ideas or the organization of them. I was fortunate to have an excellent Bible teacher when I was young in my faith who clearly taught the basic doctrines of the Bible. In years of study since then, in graduate school studying church history, seminary, and many years of study and teaching, I've refined the presentation of it and this lesson in various forms has proved helpful to people. Following are the Handouts for the Lesson, along with notes, questions, and infographics on it, the podcast, and videos of the lesson. All these materials are free for you to use and share. If you would like to teach the lesson, the source materials for it are available through the Bible805 Academy where you can download the source PowerPoint, editable notes, questions, the video and podcast without advertisements or distractions, and other related materials. All these materials are available for $2.99 a lesson, $5.99 a month, or $36 a year. There are many lessons on the site and free ones for you to try. As a member of the Bible805 Academy, I grant you permission to make unlimited copies of the materials and to edit them as needed for your audience. They are offered at this extremely low price so that any church, regardless of size or location has access to in-depth Bible teaching resources. Imagine you and your best mate are having the time of your life on the beautiful mediterranean coast of Malta. You've started a successful business, things are looking up, and all is good! Then, OUT OF NOWHERE, your life is interrupted by ninjas, killer clowns, vampires, and Italian mobsters. You've got to fend off a horde of assassins, while simultaneously playing bodyguard to the most ungrateful, spoiled mafia brat you could imagine- whose sh*t (both literally and figuratively) is driving you crazy. Throw into the mix a wild Kung Fu master looking to test your skills at the most inopportune moments, and a surrogate father figure who is about as loving as the Predator, and you'll get just a TASTE of what Mike Fallon has to deal with in ‘Accident Man: Hitman's Holiday'. A crazy, fun, action-packed martial arts extravaganza that will have you laughing from start to finish, this sequel to 2018's ‘Accident Man' far surpasses the original, and puts itself up there as one of the greatest VOD films of all time. With the look and feel of a major studio production, top-notch fight choreography, an extremely clever and legitimately hilarious script, as well as a phenomenal cast (including a scene stealing performance by Sara Chang), this is a film that just about anyone can have a good time watching! If you haven't seen the first one, no worries, this is practically a stand alone film that gives you a rundown of the previous movie's events and gets you up to date. Currently available on Hulu, I STRONGLY suggest you give this a watch ASAP! Don't forget to subscribe, download, like, and share with your friends! Thanks again for the continued support and we hope you enjoy! And WHATEVER you do.. don't forget the safe word… FLAMINGO!
Today's podcast episode comes with a warning… A warning to BUCKLE UP - lol! Bold statement I know. But it's totally justified, as I'm about to take you on a journey through time and share with you the 5 things I wish I'd done differently when I started out in the online space AND the 5 things I'm SO frickin' glad that I did! But before I do so - I have a question for you… What are you celebrating right now in business or in life generally?! For me…. Something I'm celebrating is the quality, generous, kind and just overall incredible women I attract into my space… And I'm celebrating this pretty hard right now, as these are the type of women who are on the guestlist for the Millionaire Girl Next Door® Live Event! I'm talking about the kind of 6 - 7 figure female entrepreneurs who inspire you to go BIG, whilst making you feel 100% supported as you do. Imagine spending an entire day immersed in an incredible environment, with like-minded women as you absorb the strategies and tactics that act as the catalyst to your next 6 - 7 figure breakthrough. That's the exact experience myself and my team have been curating for you! Over the last 5/6 years in business, I've witnessed (and experienced) the magic that happens when you get yourself in the room with YOUR people and start having those barrier-busting, high quality conversations. And before you think “But I don't know anyone there” or “I'm too new in business for this”... let me remind you of two things: The women I attract into my space (and who are on this guest list) are not just successful and inspiring… they're kind, generous and supportive - and that's the only energy you'll find at the MGND. Feeling a little out of your depth by the level of success that surrounds you means you're exactly where you need to be. You are who you surround yourself with after all… so surrounding yourself with those you aspire to is a MUST if you want to break through to your next level! So, if you're striving for connection, growth and expansion in your business… MGND is where you need to be on 30th June! Head to the bottom of the show notes to reserve your ticket now! Back to today's episode… let's dive into the *Rose Radford Hindsight* I wished I'd had all those years ago (and which I'm laying bear for you to steal!) What you'll learn: Why transitioning from a corporate role to an entrepreneur can cause you to get stuck in your own head and how to overcome this in order to accelerate your success How to surpass *the fear* that is seemingly EVERYWHERE when you start a business and build momentum SO much faster (this one would have seeeriously sped up my business success!) #1 thing I STRONGLY encourage you to (quite literally!) obsess over when starting your business Why I wouldn't invest $10,000 in a 1:1 coach if I had the chance to do it all again and where I would have invested that money instead Why I wish I had used Instagram as my core platform so much sooner than I did How retreats, masterminds and events acted as a catalyst for my business's success The importance of being a *student* in business (and life) if you really want to deepen your expertise and mastery How to make sure that the success you create is a result of who you are on the inside, so that you never live in fear that it can be taken away from you An investment that not only allowed me to scale my business, but also gave me a lifelong friend (so grateful for this) How holding onto a side hustle when I began my business allowed me to grow with spaciousness, all whilst avoiding scarcity I told you… this one requires a seatbelt (lol)! I realized, while reflecting on the last few conversations of which I partook, that I twice made reference to one special book: “The Unbearable Lightness of Being” by Milan Kundera. Kundera, a Czech-French author who is (at the time of this posting) an incredible 94 years of age, is an extraordinary man. Twice expelled from the Czech Communist Party, he's a reform-minded liberal bohemian (in the best sense of the word) to whom my friend and prior guest, Noah Charney, introduced me. In his 1984 masterpiece, “The Unbearable Lightness of Being”, Kundera employed his capacious intellect and the full force of his literary talent to create an unforgettable book–of which I STRONGLY encourage you to purchase a copy! The book begins with a contemplation of Nietzsche's terrifying doctrine of “Eternal Recurrence”, by which I've always been fascinated. From this doctrine (or its alternative!) comes the “lightness” of being–the meaninglessness that attends to a life whose fleeting moments are brief, vanishing, and never to happen again. Nietzschean philosophy permeates the work, but Kundera also explores political, sexual, cultural, and autobiographical themes. A man of the Left, his criticism of the Left is shockingly candid, incisive, and deep. The “Grand March”, in which he himself participated as a young man, is still going on today. Indeed, it's likely never to end. And his idea of “Totalitarian Kitsch” aptly describes the strange advertisements and messages (I'm talking to you, Bud Light and The North Face!) with which our social media feeds are now awash. Check your local library or bookstore for a copy of Kundera's work. This is the version I rented (and then purchased) from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Unbearable-Lightness-Being-Perennial-Classics/dp/0061148520/ref=sr_1_2?crid=BDHTWBV0CEMW&keywords=milan+kundera&qid=1685325408&sprefix=milan+kundera%2Caps%2C123&sr=8-2With affection,Daniel

Visit Harvest Eating In today's episode, I will discuss a basic technique called the "reverse sear" which is basically a low-temperature process to ensure your meats are more evenly cooked instead of overcooked on the outside and rare inside. If you've ever smoked a pork butt you have used elements of the reverse sear which is low and slow cookery. This method also has the advantage that it lets the vast majority of the cooking time elapse well before service which can allow the home cook to attend to other parts of the meal which can be challenging to time out properly. I STRONGLY suggest the use of a digital probe thermometer which lets you nail the temperatures! Meat is expensive, practice safe meat cookery! You'll want to remove the roast from the refrigerator about 2-3 hours before cooking and season all surfaces with salt. Let sit uncovered until you're ready to place it in the oven. Place the digital probe thermometer into the center of the meat but NOT touching a bone. I would suggest cooking this at least 5 hours before service time, it will take roughly 15 minutes per pound (guesstimate) to reach the desired internal temperature which in my mind would be between 118-120 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the thermometer starts beeping remove the roast and allow it to sit uncovered on the counter. Then, about 30 minutes before you sit to eat place it back in a 500-degree oven and cook for 10-15 minutes or until it's nicely browned, remove the meat and let it rest before slicing. Hey guys. In this BONUS episode, I did something that I don't think has EVER been done before…at least not on a podcast. Do you remember how I said at the beginning of last episode that Dan, his husband Evan, and I had a crazy sexy idea we were cooking up? Well, we decided that to give Dan the perfect experience of feeling Naughty fuck him, I was going to use my voice and his husband's body to make his dream come true. They both share their airpods so that Dan could hear me talking about everything I was doing to him while his husband used my words as instruction to actually do those things to him. To make it feel even more like it was just Dan and me by ourselves, I had his husband blindfold him. So as far as Dan was concerned, it was NAUGHTY who was literally fucking him. Everything you hear him experiencing is ACTUALLY HAPPENING TO HIM! In the end, Dan and Evan both felt absolutely amazing. They said it gave them the opportunity to try things as a couple that they never would've or could've done without me! This Bonus episode is ONLY available to my Patrons. Note: the first 18 minutes, you'll only hear my voice (with the occasional audio from Dan coming in and out) because their audio wasn't recording. The remainder of the episode, you will be able to hear him very clearly (VERY INTENSE)! Despite this and no video, I STRONGLY recommend that you listen from beginning to end so that you can hear the buildup!FULL BONUS EPISODES ARE ONLY OPEN TO 2ND AND 3RD TIER PATRONSJoin my Patreon: www.patreon.com/naughtyaudioformen you have a sexy story, Fantasy, Or confession you'd like to share, then shoot me an email at naughtyaudioformen@gmail.com! As you probably know, Brad Frost is the author of "Atomic Design," the creator of pattern lab, and a design systems advocate and educator. He writes front end code, writes about writing code, and consults to companies looking to create successful, effective design systems. In this episode of the podcast, Sophia and Brad discuss how technology is like a river, why it's important for everyone on a project to have a shared language, and how design systems are like furniture parts. In this episode of this podcast (Monday edition), Trey Morgan joins the podcast to talk about his favorite topic: marriage! In today's episode I'm talking about what I STRONGLY believe the most important things to think about, and practice are when it comes to being a Christian. The nice thing is that it gets to be SIMPLE. Hello, On this week's episode Ezra talks about the second impeachment of Donald J. Trump. This time, Democrats are impeaching the president because of his remarks last Wednesday to his supports that would later arrive to the US capital, breach the capital system, and put lawmakers lives at risk. They are also citing his refusal to concede in the presidential election that he lost. Republicans are countering these arguments with their own arguments. Hear this and more on News Nerds episode 32. You will also hear from David Quammen over a 40 minute interview. He is a science writer that has written numerous books including The Twisted Tree, and Spillover, abut animal infection and the next pandemic. He talks to me about Spillover and what this new animal caused pandemic means for humanity. I STRONGLY encourage you to read the book. It's a good one! Also, new countries have joined the geographical location challenge including Switzerland (many more countries were not listed in the challenge, but other countries have visited the website for their first time like South Africa). This week, I am going solo to talk about the 3 year anniversary of the podcast and to spotlight my 5 Favorite Small Businesses in the city. I have been grinding at this podcast for 3 full years. I couldn't be more thankful for all the support I've gotten over the years. I didn't know where this podcast would take itself but I feel like I'm going in the right direction. I have met some great people doing this and in this episode I have a phone call with each of the owners of my Favorite Small Businesses that are dealing with this Lockdown and the other unforeseen circumstances of this pandemic. I think its really important to patronize small businesses in our city so I wanted to try spotlight the people in the city that I love most. These places are spots that I truly believe in and stand behind. I go to these spots in my daily life and everything each of them offer is top tier. TAKEAWAY: D.A.R.E. to say "No" and do it respectfully. The acronym D.A.R.E. is a tool to help us say "no" while still being respectful to others within our dental community. While the acronym is something I came up with myself, the idea that saying "no" is a vital tool for success, health, and happiness, is very much a credit to my man-crush, Greg McKeown. It can be hard to say "no" sometimes...or a lot of the time! Especially when it's to something good, "worthy" or important. This is why it's beneficial to have a clear direction or vision for our life, practice, etc. That clarity makes "no" easier to say because we can see that it doesn't lead us closer to achieving our said vision. Even WITH clarity though, "no" can be uncomfortable. It's not the social norm, especially in our fast-paced, more-is-better society. Thankfully, Greg breaks this conundrum down for us SO succinctly in his book "Essentialism - The Disciplined Pursuit of Less". And that's just one chapter. The whole read is life-changing. I STRONGLY recommend everyone in the dental community read it and to consider becoming an essentialist. D: Direct- make sure no one leaves the conversation unsure of whether or not you'll show up A: Appreciate- express gratitude for the ask/offer presented to you R: Remember the trade-off- saying "no" is simultaneously saying "yes" to something else of your choosing OR Request- ask for more time to review the offer and be sure to pair the request with a deadline you'll provide an answer by, "Can I get back to you before end of day tomorrow on that?" E: Explain- sometimes detailing your reason for declining, helps lessen the blow REFERENCED MINDS: Greg Mckeown author of the life-changing book, "Essentialism- The Disciplined Pursuit of Less" --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/partneredminds/message
I was honored to have Felix Kunze on, and I thought I'd share with you why I was so excited to have him on the show. I originally reached out to him because I loved his work. I loved his lighting course that he was selling online and felt it was filled with an immense amount of value for the cost. I kept getting ads for it and I was thinking, man, this could be great to have Felix talk about the business behind his course creation. Let's unbox what he's doing as an artist, but also an entrepreneur and educator. Well, we ended up going down a completely different tangent. It ended up being about looking at the core of what makes an artist successful, and identifying what you're drawn to, what you're good at. Then just being so dead set on delivering value to your community. It removes the focus on tools, tactics, and technology and brings us back to why we do what we do as creatives. So that's why I think it's a powerful podcast, and why I STRONGLY encourage you to listen to it. Enjoy and keep rocking!
It's our first ever sidearm story from someone not named Stein...unfortunately its from someone named Connor. And even more unfortunate, he's responding to the toxic wiffs episode with a HEAVY level of toxicity. And even MORE unfortunate he couldn't muster the enthusiasm to break the two minute mark, and as a result I had to fill the missing three minutes with my fact checking. Honestly it's a horrible fucking mess and I STRONGLY advise you not to listen to this episode.
Today was a powerful moment as Marquez Hughley came by to share some of his own experiences dealing with systemic racism and injustice in the workplace, and how he feels it has worked its way out into the systems of our society and government. Marquez brought inspiration and encourage as he talked about biblical principles of unity and hope for a better future. We also talked about steps that we can take moving forward to practically walk out living to make a difference. In celebrating my receipt of the all-new Turbografx16 Mini yesterday, I thought that I would share my own personal Turbografx story from my childhood. Unfortunately, I don't have a recording that is nothing by the TG story. But what I do have is the Channel F Introduction post, which not only contains my TG16 story (centered around Christmas 1992 / December 2000), but also my "NES Story" - Christmas 1989, which, apart from the simply terrible production value as my very first release (even before the release of Episode 1) is just an incredible story! And in my opinion, the Christmas 92 story is not that far behind it in terms of story worthiness. I don't know whether I'd stand behind every single word I say in this recording, but I know one thing that hasn't diminished is my love for the TG16 / PC Engine. In fact, as a make-up for not doing this in March, I believe our rerun cycle for June will also center around the TG16...specifically, a certain mini-series co-starring Bryce Dumond of the Turbotastic Podcast! Stay Tuned! Meanwhile, enjoy this surprise bonus rerun - a surprise even to me, as I had not planned to do this until I had the Mini hooked up, and was playing through game after game of greatness! Whether you're a TG16 veteran, have only had the most fleeting brushes with it, have never played one....or perhaps have not even heard of it, you owe it to yourself to try it out! If you've got a spare $100 laying about, I STRONGLY recommend you pick up one of your own! Cheers!

What kind of expectations should you have as a first year land investor? I did not know what to expect going into my first year and thought that I would do well, but did not have any monetary expectation of what is realistic for a first year investor with no real estate experience. I went into the business with the mentality that if I worked hard and tried my best, I would make some money but did not realize 6 figures was doable with a demanding full time job. For those of you who are working a 9-5, I think it is a very realistic goal to reach 6 figures or more if you dedicate your time, stay focused, and stay consistent. I am not suggesting it is going to be easy, but this business is real and if you hustle you too can make it work. If you are interested in hearing 5 things you should do if you would like to hit this goal, I STRONGLY encourage you to click the link below and listen to my take on how to do this.
I'm beginning to think that I could seriously argue that our physical bodies are THE most significant (and the most under-appreciated) element of our well-being. This is NOT simply because I believe in the power of physical health; it's because I STRONGLY believe that our bodies are supremely significant players and contributors to all our our human experiences, no matter the condition. This episode features Dr. Martin Seligman's PERMA Model for Well-Being and my thoughts on how each element connects to our physical bodies. “The body is more than simply another machine, indistinguishable from the artificial objects of the world, it is also the vessel of the individual’s sense of self, his most personal feelings and aspirations, as well as that entity to which others respond in a special way because of their uniquely human qualities.” ~ Gardner, 1993, pp. 235-6 --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/michelle48/message
How do you cope with the loss of a loved one? How about with the loss of a child? Listen to Mo Gawdat, one of the most successful Silicon Valley executives that went through that challenge while we has developing a formula for happiness. His formula was put to the ultimate test, and as you will listen in the interview, it was very effective. He then went on to write a huge bestseller called Solve for Happy. I STRONGLY recommend you get it today. Mo served as the Chief Business Officer at Google X (the innovations arm at the search giant). He previously worked at Microsoft and IBM. Today’s One Verse is one of the great promises of the Bible, yet very few Christians know about it or act on it. James opens his letter with this plea: “Does anyone lack wisdom? Ask God! He will give it to you!” What an awesome verse! What an amazing promise. Do you need more wisdom in this life (Um, yeah!). Ok, Ask God. He promises to give it to you. It doesn’t get any more simple than that! There is no technicality or red tape. There is no trick. You need it? Ask for it. He’ll give it. If you are reading this, I STRONGLY encourage you to take God up on His promise. Add into your daily prayer life. I truly believe this one simple prayer can alter the path of your life. How would life be different if you would have God’s wisdom with every decision? If we take Him up on this promise, our future is in much better hands!

Homesteady - Stories of homesteading farming hunting and fishing
Imagine you are watching majestic lions hunting their prey on the edge of the Kalahari Desert in Zimbabwe. These beautiful animals roam in packs, looking for vulnerable prey. Traversing wide, open spaces, the predators and their prey keep each other in balance. On this episode of Homesteady, Aust introduces us to the work of Allan Savory, of The Savory Institute. Allan grew up in Zimbabwe, and regularly saw lions, elephants, and many other species while assisting his father in surveying the Hwange Game Reserve. "My father made it impossible not to love the bush. By the time I left high school I could not imagine spending my life anywhere else." Alan pursued a degree in ecology, and his life's work is preventing desertification. Alan takes us through history, highlighting the fact that preserving our natural resources is necessary not only for our survival, but for maintaining a peaceful coexistence between nations. Again and again, wars have ensued over resources; gold, spices, oil. Imagine if the world was in a race for water. Land that has succumbed to desertification can no longer hold water to support plant life. EVEN WHEN IT RAINS. Alan shares with us that as homesteaders, we can truly be part of the solution. People blamed livestock and overgrazing. The thought was the the livestock ate all the plants, and the bare land then resulted in desertification. However, Alan noticed that within wild herd, such as zebra, wildebeest, elk, or bison, the animals rotated through the land naturally. Wild herd animals graze in large, tightly compacted groups. This led "Slowly," says Alan, "The murky picture became clearer. The healthiest land I had seen was always associated with the largest herds." On the grasslands, large, tightly compacted groups of prey animals were naturally rotated by the predators who were consistently were a few steps behind, waiting for an animal to break from the herd for their next meal. As the predators closed in, the herd would move, staying a step or two ahead of danger. After the herd had moved on, the land, fed by urine and dung of the animals, and enriched by trampled vegetation, would spring back, fertilized by its encounter with the animals. Rotational grazing, which seeks to mimics the natural movement of wild herds, is a solution to the prevention of desertification. "In the United States," Allan reports, "millions of cattle are fed grain in a fossil fuel based factory production system while so much of the land in the western half of the country is desertifying due to too few livestock." The majority of livestock is raised in feedlots, where animal waste, instead of fertilizing the ground, becomes toxic waste in need of disposal. Allan encouraged farmers in Africa to adopt rotational grazing, even making a bet with the Rhodesian Minister of Agriculture that his methods could produce healthy land and support twice the amount of livestock in the current amount of space. Learn the whole story in this book, The Grazing Revolution. Rotational grazing is heavily managed. It requires a planning, investment in equipment, and consistent monitoring. There are many practical applications for rotational grazing for farmers. Farmers who plant crops on fields that are first heavily grazed by cattle have reported seeing 2-5 times previous yields. But does it get Accountant Mike's seal of approval? This debate actually originated on our episode To sheep or not to sheep, during which Aust pitches grazing sheep over buying a new lawnmower. Accountant Mike gives rotational grazing the thumbs up! For the first time, Aust took Accountant Mike's advice, bought sheep, and, after trying to take a few shortcuts, took the leap into electric moveable fencing with help from Stephanie from Premier1 Supplies. Stephanie from Premier1 Supplies uses moveable electric fencing to practice rotational grazing. She and her husband returned to his family farm to make a go at raising livestock after her father-in-law passed. With she and her husband both working off-farm jobs to continue to support their dream, Stephanie and her husband are able to move 100 head of cattle every weekend. She explains the many benefits of moveable electric fencing to meet the changing needs of her herd. This product is an important part of the history of Premier1. The company evolved from a sheep farm to a farm equipment company based upon the founder's use of moveable electric fencing from England spreading in popularity amongst farmers in his area. Intrigued by rotational grazing? Want to try it on your homestead? Plan carefully to accurately assess your needs! A solar powered energizer unit, electric netting, and a grounding rods complete a circuit that will give your livestock a little zing if they push their grazing boundaries. The amount and types of fencing, with different options available, runs between $230-$600 for a small homesteading herd. The time commitment per week for moving the fencing? Approximately 45-90 minutes. As homesteaders, this is one way we can positively affect the earth AND improve our bottom line. Thank you to our partners for making this episode of Homesteady possible! Big surprise and a huge announcement about the future of the project.First, the surprise. Today's guest is ME!You guys have been asking for two and a half years. So, I finally invited a good friend to turn the mic on me and explore this incredible journey of both life and GLP TV. We go deep into a number of topics I've never spoken about and share amazing moments, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes of the project. Now, what about the major announcement? You may notice in the image above, I'm wearing headphones and speaking into a radio-style microphone. Hmmmm, we've never done that before. What gives?Well, the big announcement is that the video part of the project is going on hiatus. We'll still air episodes on youtube as audio-only, but the next phase of the project is all about audio. This is actually a giant win for you. It's going to allow us to have conversations with a wider range of people, more often and with a level of depth and intimacy that'd hard to create when you've got a full crew and cameras rolling.I explain this evolution and what's driving it a lot more in the final 20 minutes of this week's episode. And if you're thinking about producing a podcast or web-series, be sure to tune in to that part of the conversation. And, if you want to keep jamming with me every week, I STRONGLY recommend that you head on over to iTunes and subscribe to the podcast today. We've got an extraordinarily moving episode coming up next week that you absolutely won't want to miss. With gratitude,Jonathan

I offer these thoughts to anyone and everyone as a musician who has performed, studied, lived, taught and/or conducted the wide array and miscellany of musical works in the repertoire, be they familiar masterworks or gems that are less frequently performed. In this podcast, with the intention being able to eventually approach listening and talking about Beethoven's 9th (Choral) Symphony, I present an interesting opportunity for engaged and responsive listening in order to have a new perspective about the wedding of words and music - in this case, poetry and music. Most of this process is described in the podcast, so I leave much of the details for later discovery. These podcasts are for EDUCATIONAL use only. Not to be used in any public setting by any media. I STRONGLY recommend headphones because the ambient sounds of many coffee places and offices do not afford the opportunity to fully appreciate the full range of the sound spectrum that is so difficult to replicate outside of a concert hall. Happy listening! CAUTION: Because of the nature of the wide spectrum of the volume of the music, headphones are STRONGLY encouraged. Please be safe. Do not listen to this podcast while driving.
