The total damage to three Iranian nuclear sites after U.S. bombing strikes continues to be assessed, the Pentagon says the mission was a complete success stopping Iran's ability to develop a nuclear weapon. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth held a press briefing using various descriptions as - destroying, obliterating, decimating - the Iranian potential to enrich weapons grade uranium. There have been media reports and other military experts that question the claims the sites were destroyed or just set back by months or years. Fox's John Saucier speaks to Jennifer Griffin, Chief National Security Correspondent for FOX News Channel, who says no one denies the success of the mission but the overall assessment of the damage is still being made. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth delivered a blistering rebuke to Pentagon reporters for casting doubt that the bombing run on Iran was not successful. He was especially furious over the coverage from Fox reporter Jennifer Griffin.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
It's Thursday and David Waldman and Greg Dworkin are back to KITM and itching to analyze! You don't mess with the Zohran! “Ranked choice” voting defeats “hold your nose and just” voting. You got to hope it's the beginning of the end of the political consultant era, but good luck with that. When Dems discover they can be elected by listening to constituents DC will become a ghost town. And if you think that Democrats are terrified of Zohran Mamdani, you should see Republicans! Donald K. Trump fears Zohran almost as much as he does AOC. Ted Cruz and Stephen Miller hate Mamdani almost as much as people hate Ted Cruz and Stephen Miller. Libertarians don't want Zohran, but always figure that fewer of anybody means more for them anyhow. About the only people who like Zohran Mamdani are the majority of New York City, who especially like it when things work and don't cost too much. Muslim youths love Mamdani and talked Muslim olds into voting for him. Not enough Black youths talked to the Black olds. Generally, the Democratic party needs more youths and fewer olds. Kari Lake's dream of Trump becoming the Marion Jones of Nobel prizes has been obliterated. Only 38% of Americans support Trump's Iran War, so instead Pete Kegsbreath has declared war on Jennifer Griffin, and Trump has declared war on Natasha Bertrand. The next lady on the White House bombing list is Elizabeth MacDonough, Senate Parliamentarian, who has compiled a big beautiful list of Byrd rule violations in the Gop budget bill.
On the subject of the recent bunker buster strike on Iran, a testy Pete Hegseth exchanged fire with Fox's Jennifer Griffin this morning at a Pentagon press conference. She had a point, but so did he.

And welcome to the program on your Thursday. Thursday. Thursday afternoon. And the reason I say it like this because I am still finding it hard to believe that it is only a Thursday. This has been the longest week. Holy mackerel. This week has I mean, it feels like it's been a month this week. I don't know if it was the heat. I'm pretty sure that had a heck of a lot to do. It feels a little bit better out there today, but, I mean, it's just it's just one of those weeks where you go, holy cow. We had to found out we had to have some tree work done at the house. That's gonna cost a boatload of money. Then I had a cracked oil pan in my car. And I also found out something about cracked oil pans. It doesn't matter how big the crack is. I mean, this isn't a Hunter Biden deal where you get, you know, if you get a big crack as it's this much money, if you get a little bit of crack, is that much money. It's not one of those deals with Hunter Biden. This, it doesn't matter what size crack you got. It doesn't matter what size crack you got in your oil pan. It's the same price. You thing could've just cracked in half, and it would've been the same price. Right? Right? Just boom. Gun. Done. Done. So it could be eight inches or eight millimeters, still gonna be the same price. So, anyway, that's been a lot of fun. Anyway and then we had, of course, the, the the bombing of of Iran, and yet all of these people in the over in the mainstream media, and they were like, well, first of all, they were saying, well, you know, Charlie, there's no proof for there's no proof that Iran has the nuclear weapons over there. So then Trump goes in, and he bombs all these nuclear weapon sites. And now they're like, I don't even think that did any good. I don't even think that stopped that nuclear weapons programmer. Oh, really? I thought you said there wasn't one. And there are still people out there that are saying ridiculous stuff like that. So today, Pete Hegseth I mean, the the Pete Hegseth, president Trump, they'd had it. They'd had it with all of this BS. And Pete Heggs at today was a I hey. You know what? He it was he really let Fox News reporter Jennifer Griffin had it, and rightfully so. Let's take a listen to this. Highly enriched uranium. Do you have certainty that all the highly enriched uranium was inside the Forteaux Mountain or some of it because there were satellite photos that showed more than a dozen trucks there two days in advance? I appreciate you acknowledging this is the first operate the most successful mission based on operational security that this department has done since you've been here, and I appreciate that. So Absolutely. We're looking at all aspects of intelligence and making sure we have a sense of what was where. So and and and and another reporter got upset because he said those the, the the the pilots, those boys did a great job. Those boys did a great job, and they were like, hold on. Wait a minute. Hold on. Those weren't just boys. There were there was a girl there too. You gotta be you gotta have give equal time to the ladies up there. And this is the most ridiculous BS. In this episode, I sat down with architect and advocate Jennifer Griffin to delve into real-life examples of missing-middle, pre-approved plan programs and their potential to transform local development. While fixing zoning laws is essential, it's not enough to significantly increase missing middle and infill housing—a reality I understand firsthand as a small developer and builder. Pre-approved plan programs aim to fast-track infill projects by providing community-vetted, permit-ready plans with associated budget estimates, giving small developers a clearer idea of construction costs. While these estimates may vary over time and with specific project details, having a ballpark figure helps developers make informed decisions quickly. This approach is a significant win for communities struggling with housing shortages. We discussed case studies from South Bend and Kalamazoo, where these initiatives have been tested, and highlighted the real challenges and successes associated with implementing them. A key takeaway from our conversation was the importance of community involvement. Successful programs require more than just plan approval; cities must also invest in infrastructure to support these developments, making it easier for local developers to participate. Financing the first project is often the hardest step, but pre-approved plans can mitigate some of the risk for builders. We also explored how city collaboration with lending institutions can further enhance these programs' success. Combining pre-approved plans with incremental zoning changes can lead to long-term benefits for both the community and developers. For cities looking to adopt these programs and for architects, developers, and advocates seeking to get their local governments on board, Jennifer provided valuable resources and insights to help kickstart the process. TAKEAWAYS Pre-approved building programs speed up infill development, tackling housing challenges head-on. Local developers benefit by reducing risks and securing easier project financing. Community involvement and city investment in infrastructure are essential for success. Incremental zoning changes can make a big impact on housing diversity and neighborhood character. Wednesday marks two years since the end of the Biden administration's chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, which resulted in the deaths of thirteen U.S. service members. Their deaths at the hands of a suicide bomber at Abbey Gate in Kabul marked a tragic end to the nation's largest evacuation effort in U.S. history, officially ending two decades of war. Since then, the Biden administration has faced questions of accountability surrounding the withdrawal, with the Gold Star families of those service members who lost their lives speaking to lawmakers earlier this month. FOX's Chief National Security Correspondent, Jennifer Griffin, joins the Rundown to evaluate what went wrong and what military officials plan to do moving forward. The Biden administration unveiled on Tuesday the first 10 drugs they will set for Medicare price negotiations. In Washington, lowering the price of prescription drugs everyday people depend on to survive has been a priority. However, the White House's plan is not without its critics. So how will this actually impact Americans' wallets and medicine cabinets? Deputy Assistant to the President for Health and Veterans Affairs Christen Linke Young joins the podcast to break down the administration's plan to lower drug prices, how the pharmaceutical industry's development of new drugs could be negatively impacted, and when Medicare users will really see these prices drop. Plus, commentary by Fox News Medical Contributor and author of "Panic Attack," Dr. Nicole Saphier. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
