It's about to get deep. I'm not sure it's because I'm on Day 12 of a 21-Day Fast or if the Spirit is speaking or both, but today's episode is extremely personal. The 4-Quarters of today's SHOW includes… MOTIVATION & MINDSET. “Only when you are brave enough to explore the darkness will you discover the infinite power of our light.” Check out my coaching prompts and action steps for this one. HEALTHSET. Updates on my 21-Day Fast and why it's extremely hard, but good, right now. I also share the 2 reasons WHY I'm doing this fast and the 5 questions I'm praying for. LEADERSHIP. Today, I want to go deep on how to lead with vision, not fear. This includes setting a clear vision for your business or career or team rather than reacting to challenges with anxiety or short term fixes. Additionally, I will share 5-things fear does to you and discuss how to flip fear into fuel. Lastly, I share the power and importance of a “90-Day Wonder” and talk about how it can help you grow your influence, income, and impact. This is an exercise I have been doing for a long time and has been instrumental in keeping focus on the most important tasks on hand, along with keeping the vision of where we are going also. This concludes with a MUST-DO action step that will significantly help your business/career, bottom-line, and IMPACT grow. PERSONAL. There are two-things I want to share & discuss today. First and foremost, I want to share the action-steps that our team and community (this includes you!) will be taking to “give-back” and “BE THE LIGHT” up in Los Angeles, that has suffered utter decimation and still battling. There are several activations underway that you can get involved with and ALL are in today's IMPACT SHOW. We are calling this entire activation: “OPERATION IMPACT, Rebuild-LA.” WE want to help “10” families who have been displaced are in need with finances or supplies. WE want to raise funds to completely rebuild 1-gym up there in the heart of Los Angeles so that a new “Sanctuary” can be returned and birthed up there. I believe with all of our sponsors, vendors, and Community (here on the podcast as well), that we can do this. We will be doing a Virtual Speaker's Summit in early March to raise even more funds. We will have 20-world-class speakers sharing their stories of inspiration to motivate & inspire you. Additionally, Drew Brees just committed to speak at this as well to hopefully raise even more funds. This will be completely by donation and I'm confident and hopeful that we can raise a lot of money starting NOW for the virtual event. More details to come but you can contribute to the Durkin IMPACT Foundation NOW [501-c-3, tax-deductible] So three great initiatives we are underway with and hope between NOW and the next 90-Days, that we can raise a lot of money to give back to those who need it so desperately right now. Please see BELOW for ways to donate. Lastly, Momma Durkin. Please pray for her. My 91-year old Mom doesn't have much time left and she sure could use your prayers right now. I am heading down to see her in Orlando this week and can't wait to give her a big bear-hug again. Thanks for tuning-in. If you enjoy today's IMPACT SHOW, please share it with your community and friends. If any part speaks to you, please also share it on your social media so that more people can find out about what we are doing to create some ripples in this universe. Our approach to managing time deeply impacts productivity and emotional well-being, shaping the levels of guilt, stress, and satisfaction we experience throughout the day. For those struggling with anxiety and stress, managing time can be particularly challenging. The constant sense of never having enough hours to accomplish goals or complete tasks often leading to feelings of overwhelm and frustration. But what if the real issue isn't just having too much to do? For many, the key lies in reassessing their relationship with time and learning new strategies - something most of us were never taught in school. With the right tools and techniques, time management can become less stressful and more empowering, helping us to regain control and achieve greater balance. In this episode of The Happier Life Project, host Gabby Sanderson explores the deep connection between time management and mental health. Gabby is joined by Risa Williams, a therapist, time management expert, award-winning author, and host of The Motivation Mindset podcast. In her work, Risa shares practical tools to stay motivated and work smarter, not harder, when it comes to managing time. Risa's book 'The Ultimate Time Management Toolkit', offers readers methods grounded in CBT, mindfulness, and narrative therapy, empowering them to develop healthy habits and make meaningful changes. With creative worksheets and actionable techniques, the book serves as a guide to overcoming the challenges of time management. In this conversation, Risa shares practical strategies for setting realistic goals without burning out and provides straightforward motivation hacks to help you stay on track. Gabby and Risa discuss using music as a tool to enhance focus, and look at ways to alleviate the “Morning Dread” that many experience at the start of the day. Risa also reflects on her realization that a key component for those who struggle with anxiety and stress is their relationship with time. A fundamental insight that inspired her to become a time management therapist and write a book on the subject. Plus, Risa shares her thoughts on the pressure we are made to feel to maximize every waking moment, which often leads to taking on too much, and how to avoid that trap. Feeling overwhelmed with never enough hours in the day? Struggling to keep up with your to-do list? This episode offers simple tactics to reclaim your time and alleviate stress, helping you set achievable goals while maintaining emotional well-being. Tune in and discover how to find balance and structure that supports—not drains—your mental health. The moon is not for your to do list. Put it on your vision board if you want to shoot for the moon. But for your to do list - be more reasonable. You cannot out-motivate your capacity, nor can you use motivation to solve a capacity problem.
