Proclaimers Scale: we would fly 6000 miles to see this again. Fate leads our two heroes to a tragic but inevitable end. Hamlet is turned topsy-turvy in this brilliant modern comedic masterpiece that thrusts Shakespeare's two minor characters to the forefront with no rules except one: they are destined to die. Reality and illusion mix as bewildered Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are trapped in a universe where their lives are left to chance with the flip of a coin. Can our hapless protagonists triumph in a battle of wits, escape their fate, and make sense of a senseless world? Starring from the Oscar-winning The Lord of the Rings trilogy, the title roles of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern (or perhaps Guildenstern and Rosencrantz?) are Billy Boyd (Pippin) and Dominic Monaghan (Merry) in this unique and stunning new production created by Halifax's Neptune Theatre. Written by Tom Stoppard Directed by Neptune Theatre Artistic Director Jeremy Webb Starring Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan

Ann Wilson, co-founder of the legendary rock group Heart, joins Glenn Peoples (Billboard) and Jay Gilbert (Label Logic) to talk about the set list from her show at the Neptune Theatre in Seattle, WA on Oct. 13, 2021. Ann played three songs from new album, Fierce Bliss, released on April 29, "Greed," "Black Wing" and a cover of Queen's "Love of My Life." And, of course, she performed a number of Heart favorites, such as "Crazy On You," "Barracuda," "Even It Up" and "Love Alive." "Some make the transition to live and some just don't work," Ann said of her choice of Heart songs from the '70s over other periods. "I think that the Heart songs that are in this set are ones that transfer to live the best." The Neptune Theatre show had a mix of rock standards and icons, including John Lennon's "Isolation," The Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again," Aerosmith's "Dream On" and Led Zeppelin's "Going to California." After decades of live shows, Ann has a good sense of how to pick songs and choose their order. "You want to give people an experience," she says. "You want to have an experience yourself. And if the set is designed right, it's just like a natural momentum." The show had some surprises, too. Ann led off the show with Steve Earle's "The Revolution Starts Now," which she recorded in 2020. She also played Jeff Buckley's "Forget Her" and "Permission" by Sixx: A.M., the side project of Mötley Crüe's Nikki Sixx. Welcome to Season 3 Jammerz! Before I get into the show notes, I'd like to take a moment to talk with you about what you should expect in season 3.Over the holiday break, there have been some changes in the production team and a re-focusing of priorities.Due to these changes, the show is going to be a little different this season. Same, but different. JaM Sessions at it's core is about East Coast Musicians and the music they make. As I'm sure you're all very aware; I, Jeph am also one of those musicians and am in a band of my own. I am going to be putting more energy into that project this year so the podcast, will have to take a bit of a backseat.FRET NOT MY DEAR JAMMERZ! This doesn't mean it's going away or suffering "Podfade" as it's known as in the biz, but instead of weekly episodes, you'll be looking at perhaps 1 a month, hopefully more if I have the chance to stack a few interviews up and hopefully we'll be back in full swing soon enough. But just know that I'm still here, still rockin' (even a little harder these days) and still Jammin'!!So at the end of this episode when I say "...see you next week." This is no longer the truth, but you WILL see me again soon :)Thanks for your understanding and continued support! Please stay tuned to the socials to know what's coming and when!-Jeph And now, without Further ado...
