The Boys are back in camp and coming at you with an episode that's equal parts funny, true, and full of waterfowl wisdom. Chad is joined by Spencer Proulx and Denny Reid of Camospace—Someone burnt the bread… but who's taking the blame? From calling bad shots to calling out the importance of guides bringing the same fire as their clients, this conversation is honest and inspiring. What keeps those mallards hanging around, and what sends them packing? Mastery in farming, hunting, and guiding—it's all tougher than it looks, and these guys prove that even the best have something to learn. They break down what you can expect when you book a hunt at Twin Branch, plus touch on flying drones, traveling with waterfowl meat, and even some good ol' golfing rivalries. This one's got it all—comedy, controversy, and a whole lot of respect for the grind. François Proulx, a supply chain security researcher at Boost Security, discusses how continuous integration (CI) and build pipeline security represents a critical and overlooked hole in our supply chain security. It seems like most supply chain compromises are actually from CI system breaches rather than direct code compromise, yet we seem to obsess over everything on either side of the CI system. François has a bunch of really good practical suggestions for how we can start to improve our CI security today. If we truly want to account for the population at a disadvantage in evacuation, there is only this much we can do with the current approach... Pre-evacuation time distributions, walking speeds, and so on only tell us a part of the story - the story of your average person within an average population, with an average walking speed and average response. While these models are undoubtedly useful in engineering, there is perhaps a better way.My friend and guest Enrico Ronchi is trying to find this way through his new ERC Consolidator grant, "Egressibility: a paradigm shift in evacuation research". In this grant, instead of following the main path, he is focusing on stuff we do not know - how to characterise disabilities and understand them better (also through the lens of health and medicine), how to quantify the disadvantages at large, and how to solve potential issues for those who those at the largest risk.In this episode, you will learn about Enrico's ideas and the edge of the knowledge we have today. Some key points covered are:• Insights on paradigm shifts in evacuation science• Introduction of the concept of "egressibility"• Importance of understanding functional limitations in emergencies• Shift from agent-based models to inclusive data-driven models• Use of technology, like VR, for immersive research experiences• Need for changes in regulations for better evacuation safetyYou may also like to read the paper by Guylène Proulx, which introduced egressibility as a concept - available here.----The Fire Science Show is produced by the Fire Science Media in collaboration with OFR Consultants. Perry, 1982 Lesson: John 21:15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus - Colossians 2:6-10: As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. - Hymn 24 - Lord, Open Thou My Heart To Hear: vv. 1-3 - President's Address: Dr. Gene Pfeifer, President of Bethany - Installation of New Faculty and Staff - Presentation of Scholarships - Hymn 35 - All Glory Be To God On High: vv. 1 - Kyrie, Lord's Prayer - Collect - Announcement: Opening of the Academic Year - The Benedicamus (p. 127) - Hymn 82 - With the Lord Begin Thy Task: vv. 1-5 - Postlude Service Participants: Micah Smith (Organist), BLC Concert Choir (Choral Group), Prof. David Paulson (Choir Director), Chaplain Don Moldstad (Liturgist), Dr. Gene Pfeifer (Speaker)

Is it worth your time or will you get REKT like Koosh? Ell looked at a cat for many seconds and got 1,000 Gamerscore. The other panelists were proud. Special guest Proulx played an impressive amount of GTA V. Proulx proceeded to do something so amazing, even Ell was surprised at the magnitude of his accomplishment. Despite seeing several acts of actual grand theft auto in New York City on a daily basis, Ell still gave Proulx his props. wildwest deemed GTA too violent so he played an indie game designed to tug at the heartstrings. At this year's New Hampshire Liberty Forum, Matt Kibbe sat down with Derek Proulx, the New Hampshire state chair of Bring Our Troops Home, to talk about his involvement in the Defend the Guard movement. Defend the Guard is an initiative to prevent the federal government from misusing the National Guard for military adventurism abroad without a proper declaration of war by Congress, as the Constitution requires. As a former member of the National Guard, Proulx and his fellow veterans have a unique and valuable perspective on military involvement, which could teach a lot to war-hungry politicians who have lived lives sheltered from military conflict.

This Week's Panel - Big Ell, KooshMoose, wildwest08, Proulx This Week's Discussion - Have you ever bought and sat on a game only to see it come to GP before you even started it? Does a purchased game coming to GP change your enjoyment/value of it? Let us know so we can thank you for your service. - KooshMoose Show Discussion: I hope you like pie as much as we do. What's your favorite kind of pie? These are the type of questions you ask as you go over the TA March Targets and it gets close to March 14! Koosh found an interesting looking point and click game, but where are those darn papers? wildwest played a polarizing sequel. Some like it, and others think it bites. Ell played an easy 1K game with an interesting black and white and red all over aesthetic. Proulx played a Super Smash Bros clone. You'd think this would make him happy, but the achievements are annoying and too difficult for a grown man who is just used to button mashing in a child's game like Smash Bros that is strictly luck based. Games Mentioned: Koosh - The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo wildwest08 - Dead Island 2 Big Ell - Mangavania Proulx - Brawlout (NOT Brawlhalla) Game Passible - Fream and Koosh return with your May Game Pass leavings predictions.
