This is Mkallah: To my left is Mewkow: - (Greetings Gamers). And to my right is Tetsemi: (Story? Where's the story?). Due to a schedule snafu, we are chatting among ourselves, but that is okay- it is us, we have tons to say. Ok, we'll be digging into news soon, but first let's talk about our Nerdtacular impressions and what we have been doing in and out of game. Mew- FF14, but more on that later. Nerdtacular souvenirs; con crud. Black Temple: Fun blast from the past but not nearly as painful as Molten Core was. You got to see the beginnings of the tank swap mechanic, but it wasn't quite there. Taunt was about useless as a tank, but it was a DPS paradise with many ‘kill it until it is dead' bosses, or at least boss phases. Tet- Nerdtacular was amazing and needs to happen again! I love going to Snowbird, it's very relaxing (when the thermostat behaves) and really enjoying seeing everyone, attending the panels, and playing games. Doing the live podcast this year was definitely a highlight and we'll do one again, next time the opportunity presents itself. Rogue Class Mount and Order Hall Campaign - Done! May just be my favorite story and order hall so far. Hunter is leveling up, just hit 108 about 1/3 rd of the way through Highmountain (Azusa is complete). Working on his engineering while leveling which has been interesting. I like the story bits and the cool items to make. Really enjoyed the fact I can buy the Beastmaster hidden appearance for gold and it's a bow! Running with a Core Hound and Hati right now for companions, and I love, love, love, that you can just have Volley go off on your auto-attacks. Brings back the flavor of Volley without having to manage it. Played a bit more of Secret World Legends, playing on the Dragon side as a Gunslinger (insert fake Mkallah shock here) and really enjoying the story (hey! I found the story!) in the game. MK- TALK ABOUT STUFF Games- Dammit, Mills (resulted in Castlevania), GnG D&D (now am I the note keeper), Return of Thors Thunder on Woden's Day NT- so many good things, coffee with Skky, Rocker, Diji, OLF and rotating guests in the atrium. Hiking, in the snow, in socially acceptable crocs, Marvel Munchkin with the Hordeling (Darth Amber won her first time out) AIE News NOMADS Just a reminder, if you're interested in checking out Rust, Corley has set up a private server for the AIE community. Check out #survival-exploration channel in the AIE Discord. Ok, we'll be digging into WoW and Nerdactular shortly, but first, let's cover this week's news... AIE News Community Nerdtacular is rolling along! The first full day of content is over and we're into the second day as we record this. The Paul and Storm concert was epic and they, of course, finished with the Pirate Song (Happy R!) along with many well placed X was the name of cover band. The Story Time and Drawing with Scott and Turpster was amazing and really needs to be an ongoing segment somewhere in the Frogpants portfolio. And of course it wouldn't be the Frogpants All-Stars without controversy and technology fails, but they powered on through and can't wait for the final this afternoon. Stop by and check out all the vendors (in fact we swiped Mkallah from her booth, thanks to Kiki for booth sitting while we record) and see what the amazing community has created. Oh and one last thing, the Pokemon gym battles and raid battles are in full bloom. There is a gym right at the vendor area for Nerdtacular and it is constantly switching hands between Team Mystic and Team Valor (led by Brian Ibbott), although somehow both teams were caught off guard and Team Instinct held the gym for a while. This is Mewkow: To my left is Tetsemi - (One second, updating my Nerdtacular prep spreadsheet). And to my right is Mkallah: (busy making chicken thingies for the upcoming road trip). This week we are joined by special guest Abovan who is here to talk to us about AIE in FFXIV Welcome! Ok, we'll be digging into FFIXV shortly, but first, let's talk about next weekend's upcoming event, Nerdtacular and get into this week's news... Nerdtacular preview and thoughts: Tetsemi: Just a brief WoW update, I got my rogue to 110 and about ½ way through the class story (still need to finish two leveling zones) and got concordance on my other 110's (Mage, DK, Paladin, and Druid) and now working on their off-spec weapons. Nerdtacular is one of my favorite get together's for the AIE guild and the greater Frogpants community. There's a ton to do both at Nerdtacular and at the Snowbird resort as well. Non-nerdtacular activities I'd recommend. Take the tram to the top of the mountain for the view (if you're okay with heights) and ride the mountain coaster. The coaster takes you through the forest and some very pretty sites. If you've got kids with you, go for the wristband. For Nerdtacular itself, check out the game room (We miss you Ralffie) and you may find a new favorite game to play or watch. Cyberwaif: As always, my computer time is nil, but I am getting back into my first love, RPGs. Our old Monday group is back together, and we have gone through two weeks of a new game that was recently kick started, City of Mist. The starter PDF is available at https://www.cityofmist.co/. It's a noir game where everyone is the mortal representation of a mythical power. Though, Tet may be the human embodiment of too much gin. We are playing through a premade adventure, trying to solve three mysterious murders and a robbery, preferably before Halloween night. My Thor's Day thunder group has been moved to Woden's Day, though we are on a hiatus due to real life schedules. And, my every other Friday group with the GnGs crew is in full swing! Great game so far and the DM has a good combination of battle and player development, just like I like it. Oh, and I am playing a Cthulhu powered crazy warlock from Thay, which makes things….. Interesting. If you want to follow along, we do stream and the the game is available after the fact on their Yourtube channel and on Itunes, search for Geeks and Geeklets. The D&D game is marked “The Forgotten Prince.” And, word to the wise- this game is saltier than a drunken raid night. You have been warned. Now, to piggy back on what Tet said. Yes, if you are staying at Snowbird, it is good to plan for a free day to do all of the activities and get a wristband! In years past, if you did the buffet breakfast, you got a free tram ticket, so if they still do that, it is a great savings. We like to take the tram up and then take the mile hike down to the ski lift. As for food, it is expensive, but, we love the Aerie, especially if they have any happy hour deals going. And, the Atrium opens at 7 for coffee and breakfast. For food, we also regularly take a trip into SLC for Sushi Groove- the sushi is great, the music can be loud, and they have fun desserts. Check them out at http://www.sushigrooveutah.com/. We also hit up the Target down the mountain for room food like lunch meat and yogurt since the rooms have small refrigerators. As for NT itself, besides all of the panels and the concert, there is the soon to be world famous game room,

This week we are joined by special guests Arveshet and Apolas who are here to talk to us about AIE in SWTOR Welcome! Ok, we'll be digging into Swtor shortly, but first, let's cover this week's news... AIE News Community Remembrance Day, and the Summer of Love, will soon be here, albeit a little late this year. Traditionally, the Summer of Love is held during the first week of August, with Remembrance Day celebrated on August 2nd, but due scheduling conflicts (many of the guild either be at or returning from Nerdtacular), we are kicking off the Summer of Love on August 9th, with Remembrance Day. This is one of the most sacred and important events we hold each year. The event began to honor Bruce "Milliway" Galloway, an early member of AIE who passed away in 2007. He was a fan of AIE on a level that cannot be overstated, and a good friend and kind soul to all who knew him. On the day of his death we assembled and held a vigil in game. This vigil soon became our communities' yearly tradition to honor him and every guild member who has been taken from us too early. This year we will honor those we have lost on August 9th at 9pm Eastern, each in our own games, but together in Mumble. Wow: The Shrine of the Fallen Hero Eve: in B-R5RB in Immensea at the Titanomachy monument SWTOR: Alderaan, in the Juran Mountains Please join us for AIE's most solemn and meaningful event. Also planned for the Summer of Love- Tuesday August 11th, SWTOR brings us a extra special Mandatory Love Night. Saturday August 15th, the WoW team brings us the COOP that puts the Love back in the heart of Stormwind. http://forum.myextra...were-gonna-get More incredible details coming soon. Please Please Please DM Jehdai on the forums or email gotm@aie-guild.org with your nominations. http://forum.myextralife.com/topic/56508-august-2015-guildie-of-the-month-nominations WoW Takemikazuch- AKA Larry- is looking for help with fireworks for Remembrance day. One of the events during the service is a fireworks show in Orgrimmar at Grommash Hold. Tak has graciously been volunteered to make this happen- and as such is in need the awesomeness of the guild to help make this happen. What he needs (besides an easier to pronounce name) 1. Also, take a look on the Frogpants forums, there is a whole section dedicated to Nerdtacular, including people looking to coordinate rides! Also, there is a meetup for the event on our meetup site. AND, if you can't go, and want to hang out with local guildies, use the meetup site to plan any Real Life guild events! the site is www.meetup.com_alea_iacta_est. http://www.meetup.com/find/?events=true&radius=Infinity&eventFilter=my WoW Summer of Love is coming! We are looking to have the schedule for our annual Summer of Love soon, though due to a scheduling conflict with the tail end of Nerdtacular, we will be pushing things back by a week. But don't worry, A COOP, a Wedding, and shenanigans are being planned. And, of course, the very important Remembrance Day! And even though San Diego Comicon didn't give the fans what they were dying for (Trailer!), there was a fair bit of WOW Movie News- including posters featuring both Durotan and Lothar. Wowhead and the Nerdist both have a good wrap up of the panel- plus, there has been a promise of a real preview in November, probably at Blizzcon. And, every report from SDCC has said that the footage was amazing. SWTOR Not related to SWTOR directly, but additional amazing news from SDCC- there was a three minute Episode 7 behinds the scene reel that was shown at Comicon and quickly put up on youtube. Best of luck to the two of you, as you level in life together. Guildie of the month- This month we had a bit of a departure from our normal procedures. Our guildie of the month is officially non other than Syreyne, the official herder of cats and mistress of the Craft Faire. Sy, being the great person that she is, originally declined the honor, since the craft faire is a huge collaboration, but was sweetly informed by Jehdai that there is no back plan, and she is the guildie of the month. Read Jehdai's interview with Syreyne on the guild website www.aie-giuld.org. And, to keep the “boss” happy, here is the list of the CO-guildies of the month, the craft faire crew: Nevermore, Ugnaught, Amijade, Liranei, Elcarth, Velazarius, Zaalginar, Sedaar, Tynchal, Prinadora, Anwyl, Maguswynds, Muagramar, Blessedchild, Alachaas, Saisri, Medicakes, Aerwen, Cocoamoo, Twikk, Tetsemi, Mkallah, Shojobeat, Allanya, Locke, Elhuntero, Vikkela, Mercyn, Sqweazle, Brithael, Lirianna, Grimcow, Chillreis, and Frodo. Just a few days ago, their family size doubled with TWIN GIRLS. Zoe Lane at 5lb 13oz and Maya Jade at 5lb 4oz. Welcome both of you to the AIE Family, and all the best to JJ and Renee from us here at the AIE Podcast.   Speaking of Nerdtacular, we wanted to give DogHouse Systems a big shout out for sponsoring the event. One attendee at Nerdtacular won a complete DogHouse gaming desktop, an attendee in the live chatroom won a Doghouse gaming laptop, several people won World of Warcraft themed computer panels, and the always awesome Kimberly Price was there handing out mousepads a'plenty. Big thanks to DogHouse for being a valued supporter of the Frogpants and AIE communities.   Just a reminder, which we'll probably repeat every other week or so for the next month and a half, AIE is moving over to our new Mumble server. Our Ventrillo server will be shut down on September 1st, so you have about seven weeks left to get all set up. That sounds like plenty of time, and it is, but better to work out any bugs now. All the Mumble information is in the community section of the AIE forums, and we'll have a link in the show notes.   AIE: Elder Scrolls Online For you Elder Scrolls players who have been feeling like the 50+ content seems a little too hard, you are not crazy. Bethesda recently announced that they intentionally tuned the game to encourage grouping at the Veteran levels, but they've heard the complaints and have already begun re-tooling the game to make the 50+ experience more like the 1-50 game.   AIE: The Secret World For those of you in on the big Secret, Rattozatto wants to alert you about the hotfix that FunCom released yesterday for The Secret World. He says it has some pretty meaningful changes. I've seen the patch notes, but since I'm one of the uninitiated, they just look like squiggly lines written in the sand to me. But if you can crack the code, take a look at what's changed to see how it affects your game.   AIE: Final Fantasy The AIE in Final Fantasy gang is looking for input from all your FF players. As you know, they've been working towards buying the largest house possible in the game, because AIE is just that awesome, but there's been some discussions that it's taking too long, and they are wondering if you would rather buy a more modest house now instead of letting the fund raising drag on. If you have any thoughts on this, Abovan has posted a poll in the Final Fantasy forums, and there's quite a bit of discussion going on in that thread, so head on over and jump into the fray.   AIE: Guild Wars 2 Believe it or not, we actually have some Guild Wars news this week. NCSoft has announced that Season Two Episode Two, called “Entanglement” will launch on July 15th, and according to Velinos, if you log in before then, you will get the update for free! And who doesn't like free DLCs right?   AIE: 200 And last but not least, don't forget next week is our 200th show. We're going to have some amazing guests on (Alludra, can you mention any names?) and we'll be seeing Ghomus off after over three years at the helm of this show. You're not going to want to miss it!   And with that…   GAME NEWS UMAMI and deadline for before you are kicked. August 10th. AIE NEWS As you must know if you're listening to this show, Nerdtacular 2014 is happening this weekend, and while unfortunately none of us could make it this year, a whole lot of the AIE community is going to be there. If you're one of them, StupidGenious is arranging an AIE community group picture tomorrow, Friday July 4th, at 2:30pm, outside the front lobby across from the valet, so make sure you're there. The AIE EVE gang is also holding a meetup tonight at 7:30 at the El Chanate Restaurant, so if you're at Nerdtacular and watching us record this live, you have just enough time to make it there after the end of the show.  If you're listening to this show in it's podcast form, then you're too late, but you are  probably a spai anyway, so that's ok. And if you're like us, and unable to attend Nerdtacular in person, you're going to want to join in on the live stream. Alpha Geek radio will be streaming everything from both days at nerdtacular.com/live. There's also a chatroom, so come hang out with the rest of us.   Last week we announced that testing had begun on our new Mumble server. This week we're happy to announce the testing is complete, and the new Mumble server is now officially official! If you've been using our Ventrillo server for all of your AIE grouping, raiding, or just plain old chatting needs, it's time to make the switch, but don't panic, you still have a couple of months to move over to the Mumble server. Our Ventrillo server won't be shut down until September 1st. Full Mumble details are pinned to the top of the AIE Community Discussion forums.   Are you pretty good with words and sentences and stuff like that? Well AIE needs your help. Our community has grown so large, and the number of games we play has increased so much, that AIE's horde of trained monkeys can't possibly keep up with all the news. So we've opened the doors to the entire community to write articles for the AIE website. If you'd got the gift of putting words in the right order, and have something to say about your favorite AIE game, come join our legion of writers. See the AIE Wiki for all the details. Don't forget, AIE is into more than just major league games, we also play an entire array of minor league games, and the best way to find other AIE members playing minor games is by posting on our Minor League Games sub-forum under the Imperium Ludi forum. This week, Calliel posted looking for more people playing The Simpsons: Tapped Out, Sartavious is looking for more AIE members interested in Knights and Dragons, and Beefmaster has posted some tips and tricks for Clash of Clans.   Also in the Imperium Ludi section, we've got a couple of useful posts for those of you playing Wildstar. AIE Member E.B. posted a guide on how to recover your addon settings following yesterday's apparently massively disruptive The Strain Ultra Drop patch,  and Herbivotive posted a very informative guide explaining how AMPs work and where to find new ones.   Big surprise, we actually have some RIFT news to share. After what feels like months of pretty much nothing happening in what everyone agrees is a great but kind of undervalued game, IGN has announced the upcoming release of their next major expansion. It's called The Nightmare Tide, and among many other things, raises the level cap to 65, opens up new world zones, has new rifts called Nightmare Rifts that have scaling-difficulty waves of fo...

It'll be a pretty big shindig, with several star-studded guests!  AIE Final Fantasy member Rounca Pardylle [rounce-uh parr-dill] has donated two Everquest Landmark Closed beta keys and a copy of Final Fantasy XIV to give away, and we'll also be saying a fond farewell to Ghomus after more than three years at the helm of this show. We'd love to read or play messages from you as well. You can send emails and MP3 files to podcast@aie-guild.org.   AIE: General It's been in the works for a while, but Stigg finally announced testing has begun on AIE's Mumble server. We're taking a look at Mumble to see if people prefer it over Ventrilo, so please give it a try and let Stigg know what you think. The really cool thing is, the Mumble server tied to UMAMI, so you can sign in using your personal UMAMI username and password. No more having to deal with Vent password changes. The server is at mumble.aie-guild.org on port 64738 - which is the default, so you don't need to worry about remembering that. If you need any help signing in, instructions are in the forums.   AIE: Nomads Even the amazing AIE Nomads are not immune to the Summer doldrums. Lotwook has announced they'll be taking a break from wandering into any major games over the summer, but they're going to keep Minor League Game Night going strong, so make sure to vote and join in on the fun. On a side note, Lotwook asks for any Nomads travelling to Nerdtacular next month to please post pics from the event in the Nomads forums.   AIE: Imperium Ludi We've got are a few updates from the up-and-coming games riding the Imperium Ludi bus: The Elder Scrolls gang has announced that the guild bank is nearly full. Gorgesh has cleared some space, but there are crafting mats coming out of the seams, so if you're into crafting, get in there and put them to use. In Wildstar, Khlaw is warning everyone that the guild has almost reached the guild cap, so they'd like all you cupcakes to please remove any alts you don't actively play, and ask that you keep to just your main and maybe one alt in the guild until the game gets over that new game smell and membership settles down. And for you Heroes out there,AcuZod has posted a Google Spreadsheet for everyone that has been lucky enough to get into the Alpha so far to share their battle tags. The link is in the Imperium Ludi section of the forums. He has also set up a chat room on the Vent server to help people get together and play. Look for “The Storm Shelter.” AIE: WOW For you AIE members running around that special place we call Azeroth, EverStudious is looking to put together agroup to knock out old content, complete achievements, and pick up mounts and pets. If you'd like to run some old school content, give him a shout, or feel free to arrange your own runs on the Team Recruitment section of the WoW forums.   also in case you missed it the guardian cub is off the market   Also, the quiraji guardling is out! if you missed him last summer go grab him,   AIE: EVE Lots of news from the spreadsheets in space gang. First, Lanctharus posted a military update covering changes in [REDACTED] and [REDACTED], which is very important, especially for those of you that [REDACTED] la...

All that and more coming up right now...   AIE NEWS AIE Generale: Nerdtacular We know Scott is going to dish out some tasty details on this in a minute, but we had to mention that the big news of the week is the official announcement of Nerdtacular 2014 opening up ticket sales. Nerdtacular will be held on July 4th weekend at the beautiful Snowbird resort in Salt Lake City, Utah. Tickets are only $50, and that gets you two full days of amazing Frogpants fun, including three, yes three, tracks packed with star-studded panels, games, and shows. If you want to know more, stay tuned!   AIE Nomads: Moving On Just a reminder, the AIE Nomads are moving on from Rift and over to a galaxy far far away in a mere matter of days! Lotwook and Pellel have been busy populating the calendar with great AIE SWTOR events for the Nomads to take part in! Remember to download your game early so you can jump right on in on the fun on day one!!   AIE General: Put your mark on the map It's easy sometimes to overlook those sticky posts at the top of the forums, or to dive right into your own favorite game's forums and forget to check out the Community section, but if you're not aware, we wanted to remind you that our other guest tonight, that rascally Ralff, created a Zeemap for all of our AIE members to show where in the world they happen to be, and see who might happen to live near them, which would be a big help when thinking about planning meetups. So if you haven't done so already, or haven't checked it out in a while, head to the Put Your Mark On The Map post in the Community section of the forums and see what's changed.   AIE GENERAL: Imperium Ludi Reminder We know there are a ton of games out there that many of our members are very interested in playing that are either not in the AIE official list, or that are coming up in beta. If you want to jump in and get all conversational-like about your favorite new game, and maybe help AIE decide if it's right for our community to set up an expedition into, check out the Imperium Ludi section of the forums.   AIE General: Removal Reminder - No hard feelings! Just a reminder, we love you, and you will always be a part of AIE, but we do clear out the rosters occasionally. To make room for new members to our happy family, we purge inactive characters from our ranks. The rate at which this is done varies by game, so we just want you to be aware! And don't worry if you found yourself on the wrong side of an inactivity kick, it is quick and easy to get back in, just hop into  your game's local AIELFO channel and ask for a re-invite. - And to prove we mean it, inactivity is inactivity: (Abo sent in a screenshot of me booting Ghomus from AIE)   AIE STO: More inventory slots coming soon! What's an enterprising young starship captain to do when your pockets are full of loot and you keep losing all of your red-shirted cargo carrying companions? Well don't worry, the fine folks at Perfect World have announced the are increasing everyone's storage slots. Both character inventory and bank storage will be increased in the next patch this week. To find out more, or chat about what to do with all the red-shirts this will free up, see RattoZatto's post in the forums.   AIE LOTRO: Update 13 & 7th anniversary coming soon Also coming up soon for all you hobbitses out there, Aaron Campbell, Executive Producer of Lord of the Rings Online, made a post about LOTRO's upcoming Update 13, which contains a list of features too long for us to get into in this podcast.

AIE NEWS  If you are currently playing FFXIV but weren't able to get your character on Gilgamesh, which is AIE's Server, Abovan let us know that Transfers are starting the 15th of Oct, so that's next Tuesday, and they'll be free for 5 days! He'll also be here next show to talk about our presence there!   Book of Heroes has certainly had waves of interest, then RL kicks in and perhaps the lack of complexity with it being Andriod/iOS causes flagging attendance, but there are still folks playing! It looks like there needs to be another guild compression, and from what has been read, it appears you only dip down to loyalty 4 (of possible 5) when changing guilds! Please comment in the forum post BOH -- Merges II: Son of Merges in the Imperium Ludi: Minor League Games to get your voice heard.   Unfortunately Ghomus won't be able to make this one, but there is a raid this weekend, on Harry's Hofbrau on Sunday at 1pm in San Jose, CA! If you happen to be on the OTHER coast, there is in fact a group trying to get together at New York Comic Con as well. Check the Meetup.com site for more information on these and many others! There are 347 members of AIE signed up there, and I KNOW there are more of us out there!   It looks like it was announced this week on TMS, that Nerdtacular 2014 will be July 4th once again!  Watch Nerdtacular.com and the forums (go to the forums!)  for more details as they surface.   It appears that we've put ALL the SW:TOR officers through the ringer of question and answer sessions. So Dark Lord Pel-patine has moved onto fellow guildies in a galaxy far far away! this month? Cliffy! Hit up the thread on the forums to ask some random crazy things of him!   BlizzCon and the AIE Guild Hall is just one month away! Even though the Kickstarter has more than funded, it's not too late for you to get in on the super cool rewards. You can still pick up a custom one-of-a-kind guild hall t-shirt and other goody bag prizes, and there are still spots open for a raid run with the officers or a game of Card Against Humanity with Scott Johnson. But you need to hurry! The Kickstarter ends tomorrow, Oct 11th.   Even if you don't back the Kickstarter, or even have a ticket to BlizzCon, if you're anywhere nearby, you really need to come experience the AIE Guild Hall. It's free to all AIE members, even if you don't play WoW, and will be full of food, fun, and a number of special guests. How special? So special we're not even allowed to tell you who they are, but trust me, you'll want to be there. And if you can't be there in person, tune in to the live stream and chat room and join in on the fun from wherever you are. AIE MEMBER SPOTLIGHT   This week we're giving a shoutout to AIE members Althemage and Aeos, hosts of the Azeroth Roundtable podcast, where they cover World of Warcraft along with with a touch of news, and an open discussion about various topics. They usually have a guest from the WoW community, whether it be podcaster, segment producer, or blogger.   If you're a member of AIE and host a podcast, have written a book, published a web comic, or have done anything else extraordinary, we want to brag about you on the show. Send details about your awesomeness to us at podcast@aie-guild.org, and be sure to let us know if we need to warn people if it's not quite family-friendly.   And with that, let's get into AIE in The Secret World... AIE NEWS The Raid Wrapup has been on a little bit of a hiatus, but it's back! Sihx is once again reporting on the accomplishments of our AIE raid teams, and he's looking for your submissions! Remember, this covers all raid teams in ALL games that AIE is a part of, and he might not play them all, so try to give him some info to go off of. Brag about your raid team by replying to his post in the community section of our forums, or email him directly at aieraidwrapup@gmail.com. This seems to come up now and again, so it bears repeating, for those of you that are looking to join AIE (and why wouldn't you, we're awesome!) it really is simple. All you need to do is go to http://umami.aie-universal.net and submit an application! All of our games are open every day for an application submission. Just please remember that every single application is looked at by a human being, and sometimes those humans like to play too! STO's Starbase is progressing along nicely, having reached tier 3. Tons of folks are chipping in resources to get this developed, and Cap'n Hunter is starting to spread the mission types a bit to make sure we can continue along this development path, to gain XP as well as provisioned resources. And a reminder! you can buy some of the best equipment, boosts and consumables from the base you're helping build! Speaking of Star Trek Online, they just release a new Fleet Asset today; the Dilithium Mine Outpost. This is a big floating asteroid that AIE Starfleet members can explore and progress through on missions that gives them the opportunity to earn additional dilithium ore every day in a variety of ways, access new vendors, receive discounts on fleet holdings, and much more. As RattoZatto says in the forums, time to get mining! OK, you know you want to play EVE. We talk about how great the game is every week here on the podcast, you've heard how fun and crazy it can get, with massive space battles and all sorts of adventures and sub-plots, and if you've watched the video version of the podcast, you've even seen how beautiful it is. Well, Capt Hunter is putting out the call for all you potential space pilots to join the cause, and he's helping by offering free 21 day trials for EVE. Just hit up his Why You Should Join AIE in EVE thread in the Community Discussion section of the forums and buckle up for some serious space madness. For all of you AIErs in the Central or Northern California area, there is going to be an AIE community meetup next month, on Sunday, July 21st at 1pm at Harry's Hofbrau in San Jose. So if you live in San Jose, or  the San Francisco Bay Area, or anywhere around there, hit the AIE Meetup.com page to RSVP for the gathering Don't forget, if you want to see which AIE members live near you, you can take a look at or add your own pin to the AIE Member Map. Look for the “Put Your Mark on the Map” post in the community section of the forums, and sign up for the AIE Meetup.com page so you can get notified about the meetups in your area, or even plan your own. Nerdtacular is coming very soon! Click the link in the show notes as there are just too many threads to list. People are organizing events both before and after, from hikes in the valley, to pool tournaments. Also ride and room shares! We're coming right up to the event now, so hopefully you have already got your travel arrangements there, but make sure to check out the whole SECTION of the forums! And with that, it's time to get back to RattoZatto and Grimbane to talk about The Secret World...   GAME NEWS Issue #7 is coming soon.

On this episode of The AIE Podcast.. - Nerdtacular is Near! - Blizzard Services on Sale! - Green wall at Work! - Dragon Bashing is Fun! - And we talk with Hoots and Stu about Eve Online! All that and more coming up right now...   AIE NEWS Nerdtacular countdown! We are at a mere four weeks until the big event! This is just a friendly reminder to make sure all your travel plans are in order and your rooms are booked! And this just in from twitter, there will be a cash bar reception (and soda bar!) on thursday evening. Details will be coming to the website soon!   There's been a lot of chatter about the jabber client on the forums! What's Jabber? Well it's AIE's out of game greenwall chat! More members are connecting out of game just to hang out wit the guild. If you find yourself missing greenwall, head on over and check it out. Details on how to connect are inside.   Just a reminder, simply because there are so many multi-player and MMO games coming out, please do not take it upon yourself to ‘establish' AIE in any of these games. We have an whole process where we DO move into new games, but we like to make it official! Check this post in the forums for information how to go about doing such if you'd like to see AIE other places!   World of warcraft character services are 50% off until June 10th! Faction changes, server changes, race and name changes! All half off! If you have been waiting for a great time to join us over on Earthen Ring, or want to bring over that much missed character, now is the time!!   Rifts ‘free weekend' extended until the game goes Free to play on June 12th! How do you get in on to free to play early? Well if you have ever purchased a copy of rift, you are already in! Remember, AIE is on the Deepwood shard, and they have lifted all previous faction restrictions to boot!   Dragon bash is coming to Guild wars 2 this June 11th! Dragon bash is an all new festival where you will hopefully be...bashing dragons! But that's not all this event  has to offer! There are new events, new armors, achievements, and yes! Even new mini pets! Check out the website to see all this event has to offer!   And speaking of guild wars, Devon Carter, a world vs. world designer for guild wars 2 has an interview up on the site! Go check it out as he talks about the future of world vs. world combat, including upcoming changes to gameplay and mechanics to make the battles more epic and exciting!   For links to all the items we just covered, see the show notes at TheAIEPodcast.com, or of course, read the forums!   And with that, let's jump into some Eve news!   GAME NEWS   Odyssey Expansion Here Stu and Hoots can gloss over some of the major changes taking place in this new expansion. Jump gate effect and new station models.  Prettifying everything. Economic disarray -- resources for producing stuff is getting switched up. Boring ship rebalances -- but pretty ship redesigns. They completely overhauled the exploration system. It's much easier now. Boring skill rebalances and changing skill requirements for some stuff.  It's really boring if you don't play EVE though.  Really.  Really.  Boring. Some UI changes. There are 52 pages of patch notes that I'm not going to bore you with.   What Have We Been Doing   Hoots Strategic ops, More Strategic Operations, Another Strat Op. I saw two of the biggest ships in the game die in a single day [one was a baby :-(] Explain medical clones and how I “wasted” 24 days (Battlecruisers V). Nothing. There is NO fourth thing. The Battle of 1-SMEB (Sierra Mike Echo Bravo) There's a lot of fighting happening in this system. There are complicated reasons why said fighting is happening.  I am in the process of writing a Who's Who In Nullsec Politics for AIE Newbies that will be posted on the forums within the week or so. The reasons behind these battles are literally like reading The Guns of August...

Keep in mind, ALL of the information that is requested is completely optional, so feel free to share only what you would like to let folks know who you are and when yer coming!   Do you miss the big green wall of friendly text when you're in that realm called Real Life? Don't forget, AIE has a Jabber server! What's Jabber you say? Jabber is an instant messaging platform that you can use to chat with other AIE members while they also wait for that workday queue to time out. It's completely free, and best of all, you're already signed up! Jabber accounts are integrated into our UMAMI membership system, so all you have to do is find a Jabber client you like, such as Pidgen, iChat, Trillian, or about 300 other options, and sign in with your UMAMI account. For more details, check out the We now have Jabber thread in our forums   World of warcraft and DC comics are giving away free graphic novel previews for kindle and IOS users! So if you have been curious about the comics and want to check them out you give them a shot. They currently have previews up for pearl of pandaria, Dark riders, and bloodsworn.   For links to all of the news items we just mentioned, see our show notes at theaiepodcast.com   And now it's time to jump into AIE's adventures in Lord of the Rings Online...   GAME NEWS   Dux: Update 11 dropped - Treachery of the White Hand. 5 new areas (rolling hills now frozen, vast areas of tundra, along with flash frozen forests, lakes, everything). Saruman's hold over Rohan brings a chill to all - the chill effect. Mounted Combat changes Combat. On mounts. What is more awesome than that?!?!?! Removed the ‘mobility' elements of the tree and integrated parts of it in to the base warhorse itself.  Also reworked the trees to allow for more integration (synergy - ugh) with the character that rides it.  The goal is to make the transition of playing your character on foot doesn't seem so different to riding on horseback.   Apolas >Lalia's Market >Hobbit Gifts   Vanflicke >Housing upkeep and new foreclosure  - you can prepay your taxes/rent further in advance and it will hold for six months before going into escrow. >Changes to VIP (paid) vs. F2p or B2p - better experience bonus for VIPs >Spring Festival Spring Festival runs from May 21 to June 4th (only two weeks) this year. AIE NEWS We have a new guildie of the moment! Everyone give three cheers to Duam of SWTOR! This guildie went above and beyond to help another guildie who writes: “hi, i'd just like to take a second and nominate Duam for guildie of the moment. he really went out of his way to give me a hand crafting some stuff today. it's hard to stand out in a giant community full of great people but Duam does.” And remember if you know someone who you would like to nominate for Guildie of the moment let your officers know by writing in to officers@aie-guild.org.   AIE IN RL! There are a bunch of Meetup.com events happening! A raid on Harry's Hofbrau in Ghomus's area, what looks like a gathering at Dave and Busters in Ontario, CA. Also what looks to be like a motorcycle ride, complete with doughnuts, and of course Nerdtacular and Blizzcon guild halls! Form your own or join others, signing up is free!   Wagz looks like he's leading the pack in AIE SW:TOR. He's the first person in AIE to get a 55 in BOTH Republic and Imperial sides! In looking at some of the responses here, it looks like he's WAY ahead of some! Let's hit that new level cap, folks!   Great job folks, it looks like, the composer of our Awesome theme, Andrew Allen, had his  kickstarter for Free Play go over the 100% mark! There is of course no reason to stop now, they've already said that anyone who has pledged 15 dollars or more will automatically be able to download an MP3 or AAC of the album free! So we look forward to see what the following stretch goals will be!   Yet ANOTHER example why you should go to the forums if you play WoW in AIE. Some folks were doing the Throne of Thunder LFR consistently over a few weeks, and showing up on Wednesdays. So they figured, ‘hey, let's organize and get more AIE Folks! So if you are looking to get in there, this would be a great opportunity to NOT have to deal with LFR without a nice AIE Roster helping!   Sick of all those iOS users having all the latest info on their Fancy Nerdtacular App? Nicole Spag has heard the call of the Android and the Nerdcular App is now available! It's a great application, with schedules of events, photos, and you can even purchase tickets through such!   In other AIE SW:TOR news, it appears the Neuroid is going to be attending a Cantina Tour which will include a Developer Q&A which will be happening on May 17th! He's put the thread in the forums so if you've got questions, like “Why are there no Hoojib pets?” or “Why are Squibs not a playable race!?” There are already a variety of questions answered from past Q&As, so take a look at the thread and add to it!   And with that, let's welcome this week's guests Syreyne and Hunts the Wind   GAME NEWS It's Spring!  And you know what that means?  Its time for the Craft Faire in WoW.  The Craft Faire is going to be held on April 27th and 28th in Silvermoon City. Check out the forum post for more details.  Also, please use the signup form to pre-register for the Faire.. http://forum.myextralife.com/topic/49412-2013-spring-craft-faire-official-thread/#entry824792   NEW: Vent is a requirement this time around and please have patience while you wait your turn.  It can get pretty crazy in there.   The craft faire has grown so legendary that someone sent mats in for tailoring and they aren't even a member of AIE.  They heard about the faire, thought it was cool, and decided to help.   We still need dependable people to volunteer to help work at the Craft Faire.  If you ever thought of giving back to the guild,

All that and more coming up right now...  We've got a great show today, with special guests Ratto Zatto and Capt Hunter  standing by to talk to us about Star Trek Online -  but first, the news...   AIE NEWS A meetup in my own Backyard! Well, close to, anyways. There is going to be a raid on the Harry's Hofbrau in San Jose, CA in 2 weekends! The time is not set in stone, but I know there are a few people in this area, that I'd love to meet up with you. Shout out to Oakdragon for trying to get this organized!   And it looks like Emperor Pellpatine, on April 1st, (no joke!), has put up another SW:TOR officer for you to ask all your crazy questions to! This month? Sema! Be nice folks!   Nerdtacular tickets are NOW available! Head on over to Eventbrite to pick em up! Keep in mind that if you happened to get such through Kickstarter you should have already gotten an email which will tell you how to pick up your tickets!   Speaking of Nerdtacular, it looks like Max (from last week's show) and a bunch of others are trying to get organized for a Running of the Nerds! There were of course concerns that Salt Lake City IS at altitude (around 4400 feet!), so keep that in mind, but a few die hard folks ARE going to be doing at least a few runs while there!   Not sure if we want to call it a reboot, or if we want to call it a new chapter in the life of CapStable, but the podcast brought to you by AIEU has returned to the airwaves! Er...spacewaves? Anyways, if you have any interest in EVE you should check it out!   The ever-talented Andrew Allen, the composer of our new show theme, has reached the 15 day mark for his Kickstarter and he's 83% of the way there! Tell your friends, we know how many people listen to this podcast, and how many of you like video game music! Support a Frogpants regular and get this album funded early!   And finally, we'll end with a little rumors and scuttlebut. Apparently some details of Blizzard's mysterious game, code named Titan, have been leaked. We don't know how true it is, but someone who knows someone who might know something says Titan will be based on Earth history, and will include everything from modern weapons to magic, time travel and  heavy use of Greek, Roman, and Viking myths.   For more information on everything we covered in the news, you can find links in our show notes on our website at www.theaiepodcast.com. And of course, read the AIE Forums!   And with that, let's welcome our guests, Ratto Zatto and Capt Hunter on the show to talk to us about AIE's adventures in Star Trek Online GAME NEWS   Hunter and RattoZatto introduce themselves.  Our positions in AIE STO.   How free is free?  We'll explain what's accessible.  http://sto.perfectworld.com/about/freetoplay/features-matrix What's Zen & Dilithium?   New expansion and that Romulans are like Panderians (Kinda, sorta, not really, except that they are).   Current state of the fleet and where we are with Starbase expansion.  Starbase level 5, tier 2 starbase unlocks, tier 2 tactical and science unlocks, tier 1 Recruitment unlocks and what's on the horizon.   What end game content there is.  Special Task Force, New Romulus.  (plus the fact you can replay missions and the rewards scale with you, so high replay value)   Personal experiences (missions we particularly liked, memorable moments, etc.) In particular, the "Trekiness" of it all, from seeing familiar faces to walking the decks of places you've seen in the shows.   The Foundry (player created missions) CLOSE   And that's our show for tonight. It sounds like while some of the guilds are struggling, a few of them are doing rather well. Nothing has been set in stone yet, but sn effort is going to be made to get folks of like mights together in guilds. Don't worry, we're intending to make the changes fun for all!  Watch the forums for more developments in the minor league section! Thinking of getting into EVE? The fine folks who are our guests will be going into some more things going on in that world, but this article has some great info and might help kick start your SpreadShips career all the faster! Take a read! Without getting TOO behind the scenes as to the mails that officer's get, we HAVE gotten quite a few lately that are asking about realm and faction transfers. So we'd of course love to have more fine folks in AIE, but we strongly encourage people who aren't QUITE sure yet, to roll a character, apply, and then fall over onto some wolves to get level 10. Poke around a while, say hello to some folks, and decide if AIE is for you. The Nerdtacular Kickstarter is now LIVE. Great bunch of options for everyone at a variety of levels. Hope to see lots of you there! Room rates are available as well, all the details are on the official Nerdtacular site! Update: FUNDED already, geez! As we've mentioned in past shows, the Craft Faire is getting geared up to be huge, as usual. AIE NEWS We have a new guildie of the moment! Everyone give three cheers for Großerstier. Gro, who is also known as Aeonidis in eve online got his  nomination via email write in! See! Emailing does make a difference! Some amazing things said about him: sent me roughly two complete bank tabs of LW mats of assorted types (for the craft fair).  He's quite a hero with me. I know him from EVE, a great member of the community I completely support making him a GotM for his participation in EVE alone! So everyone give Gro a big high five if you see him! If you know somoene who you think is a fantastic example of what AIE stands for, let us know by sending an email to officers@aie-guild.org. Last week we announced we have a new Jabber service! Jabber is a multi platform chat room that AIE is using as a cross game greenwall. But have you been wondering how to actually use it! Well we have instructions for that! Head on over to the forums and look for the Jabber Jabber Jabber (or How to Connect a Jabber Client to the AIE server) thread to find out how to connect and ask your questions there! Just a reminder, the officers are thrilled to hear about new games that may be added to AIE, but would like to remind you that certain games currently have Non Disclosure Agreements and are not open for discussion on the forums. If you are playing a game and are under an NDA understand that any and all discussion on the topic may be shut down on the forums. A Book of Heroes Update: We have 12 coguilds bursting at the seams, plans to get 13 and 14 opened in the next few days! Please be patient as we try to keep this going in an organized fashion. A LOT of folks are playing this game! Bless and Curse you Dills! Also remember if the Alea Iacta Est guild name isn't in the book of heroes thread or Wiki, it's not an official AIE guild. All SORTS of Anniversary things coming up, so definitely stay tuned for those, and here's one that is getting off the ground. The Running of the er...Pandas!  Running of the Schezwan Beef? Man I don't even know. Another anniversary event coming up Lanctharus has been busy calling forth the horde of aie to take down stormwind! You heard us right folks! We are not taking down bosses but all of stormwind, we want their town FOR THE HORDE! Meetups meetups meetups! Some big meetups are being planned! The Chicagoland meetup for Medieval times is underway on February 2nd. Southern California AIE'ers are also having a midwinter meetup that same day! More meetups are being added to the meetup.com website every week so check it out, or even start your own! They are really simple, fun and a great way to get to know your local guildies! If you are looking to get into The Secret World, NOW is the time! Origin has it on sale for a measly 10 bucks! 10 bucks for everything! No monthly fee if ya don't want! Sale goes through the 28th, so act fast! An open apology to the EVE folks. I tried to look through the news postings to get some information on what is happening in the game, but to be honest I don't know what any of those terms mean! An example: Honeybadger Coalition, and therefore TEST, have officially reset standings with the CFC, by mutual agreement. There will be a temporary re-bluing at the weekend for evacuation of assets from Deklein. This is a news item, apparently! Alludra: In case you somehow are listening to THIS podcast and not any other of the great great Frogpants family of shows, official dates and times for Nerdtacular 2013 have been announced! The resort looks totally awesome, and Scott has let us know there are KILLER deals on room rates, lots of restaurants in walking distance, and now 2 DAYS of fun! Okay that's enough news! There's a new officer in a galaxy far, far away; AIE has gone to Hell, virtually speaking; and we talk to the Queen of Rift!  All that and more coming up right now. THIS is the A-I-E Podcast... AIE NEWS The evil that is Diablo 3 seems to have spread across the guild! Unfortunately your AIE officers can't get your raid team out of Diablo and back into your raid times! Sorry guys. We have another Guildie of the Moment: Teraall! There are almost too many quotes to use here so aren't going to try! A few are: “I've known Teraall since my early days in AiE. I've never had a bad experience with the guy.”   “Terrall is an awesome player and is always even tempered and promotes what truly AIE is all about.” “I know him and he's a good guy.”Send your congrats to Teraall in game or on the forums! AIE SWTOR would like to announce their newest officer to the ranks, Max'z! You may know him from his exploits as a Republic trooper, but there are rumors that he's been seen over on the imperial side! Either way, you can congratulate him in game or on the forums in the thread: Attention~New SWTOR AIE officer on deck. COOP!  We had an amazing COOP run this last weekend. The Diablo disease definitely affected our turnout; only 30 people were able to pull themselves out of Sanctuary to join us. There were around 50 Alliance defending Stormwind, and even though it took some doing, they were eventually able to chase us out the first time we attacked. So we regrouped, blew through the other three Alliance leaders, and then tackled Stormwind again. Thanks to some excellent leadership and strategy from Alachaas and Solarflair, we were able to get the king down and got quite a few AIE members their war bears. Gratz to all that got the achievement, and everyone keep your eyes out for the next COOP run coming up soon. Going to Dragoncon this year? How about Nerdtacular? Maybe you have an idea for a great local meetup? Well AIE has their very own Meetup.com site! Simply head over to meetup.com and do a search for the Alea Iacta Est Gaming community! Signing up is free and who knows what kind of fun you can have! And it's that time again! It's time for the AIE Salus update! That's right you guys are awesome! Our newest world of warcraft co-guild is catching up fast with just over 500 members! The hard work is showing as the guild is already level 14! That's right, even with the distraction that is diablo, you guys are working hard! Just a reminder, AIE TF2 thursdays are every week starting at 10:30pm EST, 7:30 PST! Just log into TF2 and look for the community invite! And speaking of TF2, Wynnefox has a number of TF2 items to give away to any player who wants them. See the Free TF2 Items thread in the community forums And last, Salem in the chat room wanted to make sure we plugged the Pheonix Comic Con meetup happening this weekend, on Saturday may 26th. It sounds like it's going to be a blast, so be sure to RSVP in the Meetup.com thread. Link is in the forums. And with that, let's welcome this week's guest, Gypsygirl! GAME NEWS - RIFT! Rift recently released patch 1.8 which introduced a new 20 man dungeon (the hardest yet), two new skills (survival and fishing) as well as the new Guild Finder. In the previous patches they introduced Chronicles (1-2 person dungeons), Instant Adventures for those 45+, and weddings! They also released an iOS app called Rift Mobile which lets you chat in guild chat, track invasions and play scratch off games to win in-game prizes like crafting materials or artifacts (shineys!). While we have a dedicated core of raiders (the Ingrates) we're always looking for more people to join us! We don't care what level you are or what gear you have - as long as you're willing to commit and die with us! :) CLOSE And that's our show for tonight, We want to thank Gypsygirl for joining us, and our chat room for adding some great commentary! Next week we'll be talking to the members of AIE SWTOR! Quick mention!

Avenger Meetups abound, Rift gets a new patch, there's another COOP run in the works, and we talk to the the Head Bronies of the WoW guild. All that and more coming up right now. THIS is the AIE Podcast. AIE NEWS There's a new guildie of the moment! That's right, everyone! A big congrats to Solarstorm of AIE Rift! Our guildies had a lot of great stuff to say about him this week including stuff like: “Never gets upset over the small stuff.” “Always willing to help people out with things, including gearing, mats, filling a spot if a dungeon or raid is a man short.” and “All around a great guy and I think a great representative of the community.” Living in the Phoenix area and gearing up for the Avengers movie? Well on May 6th at the Temple marketplace there is going to be an AIE meetup just for the movie! Details like the time to attend are still up in the air, but see the thread, Phoenix area avengers meetup in the community section of the forums. Speaking of the Avengers, other groups are orginizing their own movie screenings at the Meetup.com website, such as the So. Cal meetup and the Chattanooga meetup! Not on the meetup.com site? Signing up is free and allows you to rsvp to events going on within AIE. You can find a link to AIE's meetup page in the show notes or go to meetup.com and search Alea Iacta Est. http://www.meetup.com/Alea-Iacta-Est-Gaming-Community/ Rift just got their patch! Finally 1.8 is out and Telara is updated! This is a fairly large patch and changes several things within the game including: talents and abilities, a new armor slot, new crafting recipes, a ranking system, and several bug fixes! For more information check out the patch notes on the Rift forums. It's time to COOP again! In honor of Armed Forces Day on May 19th, Alachaas will be leading a COOP run against the Alliance. Time to be determined. Keep your eyes on the AIE Azeroth forums for more information. For those of you looking to explore the hidden secret locations of Azeroth, Thyatira will be holding an Azerothian Expedition this Saturday, May 5th at 2pm server time. Come join in on the mystical magical carpet ride to these secluded locations. Nerdtacular tickets are now on sale! nerdtacular.com updated yesterday with a link to the ticket seller Eventbrite. The tickets are $32.59 each which includes all the fun fees and taxes. And with that, let's welcome this week's guests, AIE WoW Game Director Lanctharus and newest Praetorian Thyatira. GAME NEWS Hello I am Lanctharus, are you suffering from Diablo III DT's?  Because I sure am.  Need demon killing fix soon.....  Cannot wait the 14 days.  I haz a sad. First of May, first of May, outdoor f... Um I mean it's the first of the May (not even 24 hours)  and we already have 50 people applying for membership.  Holy poop!  Also we wanted to call upon the membership to plan and run guild events.  For example a few years ago Despair a for Salus is more than 50% into Level 9 and has 339 total characters.  Way to go! Our gold cash flow is still looking very good.  We have over 2.4 million gold in our banks.  Incoming gold has dipped a bit but we are still very much in the black. We currently have nearly 7K characters amongst all the co-guilds and we guesstimate that that number represents nearly 2K individual member accounts.  We soon plan to start up our own banana dictatorship. All Hail the AIE banana republic! Speaking of malevolent overlords, even more AIE officers are succumbing to our new pony overlords.  Derpy is still the best pony!  And big props to all our bronies and pegasisters who stop by and say hello in Vent.  Brohoof! And just for fun, let's ask Thyatira random questions! CLOSE And that's our show for tonight, We want to thank Lanc and Thy for joining us! Next week we'll be talking to the members of AIE Steam! Quick mention! We have some great iTunes reviews! Thanks to Beefmaster and Scorpianride for the great iTunes Reviews! Wanna get a shout out too?

We have very well deserved new guildie of the moment, Halaa battles are back, and we bring Darth Bouvi and Counsellor Abovan in to give us all the updates on what's going on in AIE SW:TOR.  All this and more, on the NEW AIE Podcast. AIE NEWS Ladies and Gentleman, we have a new guildie of the Moment! Salem otherwise known as KillrElite on the forums! He's relatively new to the community, but has already organized a RL meetup, organized the COOP run after Lanc and and Ashayo's promotion party, and is just a great example of someone we love to have in the community, congrats to him! One of our own, BadModem, is going for his PhD at LSU (Go Tigers!). He's doing a research project and would love to get some video responses regarding your experiences with WoW or other MMO you've spent a good amount of time with social interaction with other folks in! See his thread mmo non profit academic film on the forums for more details on how you can participate! Full link in the shownotes. http://forum.myextralife.com/topic/44845-mmo-non-profit-academic-film-call-for-consumer-responses/ One whom we might as a consider a pillar of the AIE and Frogpants Community, Brian Ibbot, is working with Andrew Allen to produce the first official release from Coverville Records!  I think it'd be great if we could give him some AIE community support! The Album features Jazz versions of Star Trek classics! Halaa battles are back! Solarflare of AIE warcraft is organizing an old school Halaa battle! Saturday April 21st at 8pm server be there and be ready to earn those tokens to get those old school talbuk mounts, or just have fun killing Alliance. Check out the forum post for all the details, but it appears that if you hit level 50 OR Legacy level 6 before April 22 you might get such! Reddcap from AIE Invictus wants to invite AIE and anyone else going to Nerdtacular to join us on a tour of the "Utah Truffles" chocolate factory on Friday June 22nd at 7:00 pm.  Details can be found on the "All Things Edible" podcast website here:  http://edibleshow.com/2012/03/utah-truffles-tour-sign-up/ And with that, let's welcome this week's guest Abovan & Bouvi GAME NEWS Craft Fair in Space is coming soon.  Contact Sophillea for more information on this and check out the thread on the forums. DOH! lol it happns A - The Guild Bank Kickferter started Friday, March 23rd and ending Sunday, April 22nd. The tabs will not be purchased until the 30 days have ended.  Right now we have enough for the first 2 tabs in all 7 guilds.  There are some cool prizes.  Check the forums for more info. Want to run your own event?  When I started with the guild I met up with Lanc in Atlanta toward the beginning of COOP.  I asked him what I could do to help the guild and he said “help with COOP” so I became a COOP leader.  If you have a cool idea for an event don't wait on the officers to do it as we have our hands full.  Take the reigns and post it on the forums.  Just make sure you plan well ahead so that you give people time to plan for the event.  Give it a whirl.  I know Gallibond has been pretty active on the forums doing different events.  If you want to be more involved with the guild this is one way to do it. Invites have been going well.  Please be patient as we cannot have officers on 24 hours a day.  We will get you.  Make sure before you go into aielfo that you have received the email confirmation that your character has been accepted into the guild. Your friend and mine, Sihx does the raid wrapup for the AIE podcast and is happy to announce any game raid achievements,
