He talks about his latest book, Ridiculously Easy to Do Business With: A practical guide to giving customers what they want—when and how they want it, and shares actionable tips on providing a hassle-free customer experience.  This episode of Amazing Business Radio with Shep Hyken answers the following questions and more:    How can businesses identify and eliminate points of friction in the customer process?  How has the shift in customer behavior influenced the focus on understanding customer choices and social proof?  Why is customer service the most important marketing tool for brands?  How does prioritizing customer experience serve as a competitive advantage for businesses in today's market?  How has social media shaped brand perception?  Top Takeaways:      Providing a hassle-free and convenient experience means eliminating friction at every step, from the moment a customer engages with a brand and even after the sale is made. Customers should be able to find information, purchase products, and get help without encountering unnecessary obstacles.    While friendliness is important, convenience is even more crucial in customer experience. In the 2024 State of Customer Service and CX Research, we have found that 94% of customers feel convenience is important, 70% are willing to pay more if the experience is more convenient, and 70% say that a convenient experience alone makes them come back to the brand.    "Ridiculously easy" is the new standard. The true competitive advantage lies in delivering a frictionless and convenient customer experience. Quality products and services are the minimum requirement for any business. However, what sets a company apart is how easy and convenient it makes the customer experience. Competing solely on quality is no longer enough. It's crucial to focus on providing a seamless and hassle-free experience for the customers.    Plus, Shep and David share their favorite tips from Ridiculously Easy to Do Business With, such as "be ridiculously easy to see," "ridiculously easy to reach," and more. Tune in!  Quote:   "What people say about our brand today is more impactful than what we say about ourselves."  About:    David Avrin, CSP, GSF, is a customer experience speaker, consultant, and best-selling author. Determined to find cures and treatments in the face of a hopeless prognosis, Victoria and her husband Bill founded the Gwendolyn Strong Foundation (GSF) from Gwendolyn's hospital bedside. In the past 5 years, we have seen an incredible rise of Energy Storage (ESS) on numerous Grids. Those markets, whether in Europe (10GW) or in the USA (16GW), have been created by the magic formula where entrepreneurship blended with new technology. For Laurent and Gerard, there is not better guest to discuss the phenomenal growth of the ESS than Dr Alex O'Cinneide. Alex is the Founder and CEO of Gore Street Capital, a London based fund which now manages a portfolio of 1.2GW of batteries in GB, Ireland, Germany, Texas and California. Seven years ago, he was working out of a telephone booth with his laptop on his knees. Alex explains the value of a geographical portfolio approach, how tech is evolving, how supply chains are reacting, what is similar and what is different in all those markets. An energy transition story which is also a personal journey of a very talented entrepreneur whose success has been recognised by the Industry as Alex has been recently received the prestigious “Man of the Year” award by Solar Media. Nikodas and Grebog talk about the summer of love and as part of it bring some of the community with us as we head into some TFOs, Task Force Operations, in Star Trek Online. Summer of Love This year's Summer of Love event week began with a guild Town Hall on Sunday, July 25th, continued with a week of events across all our games, and ends with our most important and solemn event, Remembrance Day, Monday, August 2nd 2021. Each game division will have its own ceremony/gathering place and it will also be broadcast on the https://www.twitch.tv/aieguild channel. Voice will be in AIE Discord - https://aie-guild.info/discord For those not familiar, this marks over 10 years of special summer events we've held with the guild centered around Remembrance Day, a day when we take a moment to gather in voice and in game to remember those we have lost. Spread across the rest of the week are a series of special fun game events in almost every game division. These include player run events, special edition Mandatory Fun nights, and maybe even some contests and prizes. Here's the rundown of how each game celebrated the week. NOMADS The Nomads a special board game night Thursday night. They played two games of Downforce, which is a popular racing game, and a game of Love Letter. WoW
