Forget business as usual. Jason Cass lays out why now's the time for agencies to rethink their models, leverage tech, and get serious about efficiency. Big shifts are coming, and this episode sets the tone. Key Topics: Why agencies must prioritize transformation over simple change Understanding the real versus artificial intelligence in the insurance industry. Breaking down the future labor model: licensed staff, VEs, managed bots, and autonomous bots How AI is closing the gap between small agencies and enterprise-level capabilities The upcoming "Agency Intelligence Efficiency Score" and what it means for your agency Predictions on universal income and how automation will impact societal structure The battle for agents' time and money — and how to win it by 2030 Reach out to: Jason Cass Visit Website: Agency Intelligence Produced by PodSquad.fm
Check out: https://permissiongroup.com/permission-producer-school/ Imagine setting twice as many new business appointments with your prospects, tripling your win percentage, writing more accounts, writing larger-revenue generating accounts, and winning most (all?) of these new clients by signed Broker of Record Letter, rather than going through a normal quoting process. Sound to good to be true? Well, it's not. It's exactly what I teach and train my Producer clients to do. And, in this throwback podcast interview, host Charles Specht will tell you what the one thing is that you need to do FIRST in order to make all of this come true. Key Topics: The importance of choosing a micro-niche How a focused niche helps create effective scripts, marketing, and branding Aligning your niche with your carriers' preferred markets for better results Examples of agents succeeding by specializing in unique industries Why focusing on fewer, high-value clients is more effective than spreading too thin How micro-niching increases trust and helps you secure more broker of record letters Avoiding the trap of dabbling by fully committing to a niche for greater success Reach out to Charles Specht Visit: Permission Producer School Permission Network Produced by PodSquad.fm

You need to be careful to not ask too soon and also to not waiver on the fence of indecision by never getting around to popping the actual question. In this throwback episode of the Millionaire Insurance Producer podcast, host Charles Specht will teach you how to ask for the signed Broker of Record Letter at just the right time (not too soon and not too late) and how to ask with just the right words to get what you want. On this podcast we talk about health, politics, stuff on TV and what we ate last night. Occasionally, we talk about running.Startline to finish lineThis is it. This is our review of the biggest race of our lives (so far). We start from the start; the night before in the hotel, and we talk through every experience, every up and every single down, of which – spoiler alert – there were many. I don't want to give away too much here, but as Hol says at the beginning we might need to add a little trigger warning: we are painfully aware that we are still in marathon season and if you've got one coming up, please don't think that our experience is indicative of every marathon runner. We all run our own race, right? Yours will be incredible. You get out what you put in. You win championships when you do the good work. You reap what you sow. These are the realities of what happens to people (and teams) who do the right things over and over again. Success comes to those who do the right work and stay consistent. Last time I checked, none of your insurance carriers pay any "consolation commission" when you come in 2nd place. It's all or nothing, baby! If you sow inactivity, you will reap the wind. If you sow inactivity for long periods of time, you'll reap the whirlwind. If you don't do the proper prospecting work, you won't schedule any new business appointments or win any signed BOR's or secure any deposit checks. The choice is yours. In this podcast episode, host Charles Specht reminds, motivates, and guides you on what and why you need to reconsider what you're doing in order to get the results you actually want. Key Topics: Why being busy doesn't mean being productive The real reason you're not getting appointments or BORs How second place in sales pays nothing literally The time audit every producer needs to do How the wrong daily tasks kill your commissions Why consistent prospecting is the only path to winning Imperfect action beats perfect inaction every time Reach out to Charles Specht Visit: Permission Network Produced by PodSquad.fm

Welcome to episode 244 of the Women's Running podcast. I'm your host Esther Newman and she's your other host Holly Taylor. On this podcast we talk about health, politics, stuff on TV and what we ate last night. Occasionally, we talk about running.Marathon trainingWe are joined, from start to finish, by Jordan, as this is our penultimate episode before the London Marathon, and we have every fear known to woman. Jordan, as you'll know by now, is from Coopah, the training app, and she has been supporting us through this marathon training block.Last long runsFirst things first, we talk about the last long runs we had completed – we'd been bags of nerves beforehand, so now it's time to unpick them and see how we did.GoalsWe then get on to our goals: what do we actually want to achieve at this marathon? Is it the time, or something different? We also talk about all the last minute prep we've not considered yet – the carb loading, the hydration, and how on earth we're going to cope on the day without having lunch. Please join us in a group hug before we run the big race! And if you're running too, and you're in London, do come to the Expo on Saturday 26th April, as me and Hol will be joining Jordan on stage to chat pre-race nerves and to pick up a few confidence tricks (and some more hugs).DiscordBefore I forget to say, come and join the gang on Discord for chats, support and new running friends. Cold Calling is never much fun, but it can become your pot of gold at the end of a rainbow if you can figure out the proper Script and get your delivery of the Script down pat with both enthusiasm and confidence. Most insurance agents have a lame, tired, and worn-out Script that makes them sound like every other agent out there. Don't be that agent! In this throwback episode of the Millionaire Insurance Producer podcast, host Charles Specht will give you actual examples of what your C3 (Cold Call Carrot) and Script should be in order to be more successful when cold calling. Then, Charles will walk you through how to overcome the two main Objections you will hear: 1) We're happy with our agent, and 2) Now is not a good time. These will help you set more new business appointments with less time prospecting. PS: The "Permission Producer School" is getting ready to launch on October 14th, 2024. Are you signed up yet? Charles Specht created (and will teach) the Permission Producer School as an intensive 3-week training program to help new(er) Producers write their first $100,000 of commission in their first 6-9 months, and then scale up to $250,000 in commission in their first 15-18 months in the industry. Jenny is joined by guest host Brian Gottlock for a special chat with Kathie Bennewitz, Executive Director of Edward Hopper House Museum & Study Center in Nyack, NY, about how growing up with the light reflecting off the Hudson River shaped Hopper's art, how strong women shaped Hopper's life, and how he didn't make it big until age 40. Kathie also gave us a ton of wonderful recommendations to explore more Hopper beyond the house and dig deeper into art history in the Hudson Valley. The Pod Squad donned their Hazmats and endured the festering swamp that is Smellworst, helped to out sing the chavlettes and cronies in the home end (with Andy K starting a new song for good measure) until their luckily-deflected winner settled matters and then again for most of the rest of the half until it finally became apparent that the good guys weren't going to be able to break down their low block - story of our lives against the lesser footballing sides! ;) Post match a handful of us showed our faces (classy move!) at the local pub we'd been invited to by the ‘other lot' for some banter and as far as Russell was concerned some tactical therapy….and a curry! Russ, Clive, Scott, Andy K, Mo, Alan, The Duncans, Courtney and, post match, Jim (making his pod debut) and P*lace's finest, Toby K provided the day's chat and opinion. Stand or fall! UTA! Welcome to episode 242 of the Women's Running podcast. I'm your host Esther Newman and she's your other host Holly Taylor. On this podcast we talk about health, politics, stuff on TV and what we ate last night. Occasionally, we talk about running.MaranoiaAs we get closer to Marathon Day, our maranoia has reached epic proportions. We talk about comparing ourselves to other runners on social media, about not matching our training plans, and about the fear of the last long runs.We have Jordan with us today, thankfully, so after 20 minutes of pure waffle, she stands in as Agony Aunt to give us a much-needed dose of reality in the face of our raging maranoia. Have we done enough mileage? Have we actually run enough? Have we eaten the things we should have eaten? Have we rested enough? We talk about logistics, we talk about crying, and the wobbles we have about those last long runs.Finish line proposalsAfter we chat to Jordan, we are back to talk about another controversy – and we would love to hear your thoughts. Jenny wraps up our celebration of Women's History Month joined by a very special guest co-host, Kingston's own challah-baking good-time girl Ellen Leifer, for a conversation with Rabbi Sivan Rotholz about the importance of seeing yourself mirrored back to you in spaces of worship and learning; the most bad-ass women you've never heard of in Biblical history (and how they were demonized - sometimes literally - for not being compliant); how centering the experiences of women isn't just for women; and what everyone can learn from Judaism about the importance of community-building and resilience to combat the epidemic of loneliness. Want to hear more from Rabbi Sivan? Check out our Hudson Valley Holiday Story Hour episode; skip to 20:36 for the story of Judith, the Hanukkah Heroine. (Spoiler alert: it's possible latkes weren't originally potato-based but actually made of cheese; “a medieval pancake version of mozzarella sticks.”)Save the Date! You know, if a producer doesn't get to $100,000 of commission in a reasonable amount of time, they often either get fired or they find a new job outside of insurance. So, we not only need to help them get to $100,000 of commission but I think -- more importantly -- we need to get them to a $250,000 commission Book of Business as soon as humanly possible. Why? Because, once a producer gets to $250,000 in annual gross commission, they are usually not going to get fired, they're in the insurance business for life, and they're typically making six-figures in annual take home pay themselves. Therefore, that's why I am launching the PERMISSION PRODUCER SCHOOL, which is a 3-week intensive new producer sales training school to help new producers write $250,000 of commission in 1.5-2 years. (Go to www.permissiongroup.com to learn more) Key Topics: The importance of hitting the $100,000 gross commission milestone for job security. The challenge of transitioning from learning to producing quickly in the insurance industry. Strategies for reaching $250,000 in gross commission, including the Permission Producer School. The need to focus on a single micro-niche to accelerate growth from $100,000 to $250,000. Why a shift in strategy is required to move from $250,000 to $650,000 in commissions. Key changes needed to leap from $650,000 to $1.2 million, such as targeting larger accounts. The mindset and strategy shifts necessary to achieve a $3 million book of business. I have a confession to make: I firmly believe insurance agents are prospecting all wrong. And, it is not only costing them thousands of dollars every year in new business commission, but they are losing literal weeks (months?) of their lives in the process. But, I also have some good news as well. The good news is that you can be happier as a producer, more successful, get more hours of your life back, and win more frequently. It all boils down to prospecting the low-hanging fruit. In this throwback episode, I (Charles Specht) will tell you what the low-hanging fruit is and also how you can win it! Key Topics: Introduction of "low-hanging fruit" in insurance sales Analogy of picking ripe figs to explain targeting easy opportunities Importance of using the Broker of Record (BOR) letter in acquiring new clients Techniques for identifying and capitalizing on straightforward sales opportunities Discussion on the mindset needed for low-effort, high-return sales approaches Insights into streamlining the sales process by focusing on ready-to-switch clients Encouragement to refine focus on opportunities with the greatest return and least complication Reach out to Charles Specht Visit: Permission Network Produced by: PodSquad.fm

Now that our “Love Is Blind” squad is back in Minneapolis, real life has officially rocked the couples. Protective – and overprotective – sisters weigh in, and the couples struggle to align on politics, faith, and social justice issues. Dave sets new land-speed records for assholery as he continues to obsess about Lauren's past situationship – and introduces the audience to his Sex Boss. (His sister, natch.) Plus, a juicy Pod Squad hang reveals some new nuggets of hot goss
At the end of our first full year together, Glennon, Abby, and Amanda reflect on We Can Do Hard Things, this community, some of their favorite episodes, and they reshare the very first show: 1. The original idea for the podcast and how it's evolved. 2. Glennon describes how an anxiety attack feels – and the 3 strategies that help her find calm. 3. Amanda shares some special “thank you” messages to Glennon, Abby, and the Pod Squad.
