Att köpa bil är, jämte att köpa boende, ett av de största köpen vi gör. Det är många saker att tänka på, särskilt när saker man har tagit för sant inte är det. Som när vi var nära att köpa en begagnad bil, i tron att det är billigare och ekonomiskt smartare än att köpa en ny bil. Idag, 2021, är många gånger en ny bil på privatleasing betydligt bättre än att köpa en begagnad utifrån ett totalekonomiskt perspektiv. Den kan till och med vara billigare än ens gamla och befintliga bil(!?). Totalt ointuitivt och förmodligen en temporär felprissättning på marknaden (att utnyttja). Vår process för att köpa bil startade i somras, när vår Volvo V70 (2009) som vi haft i 10+ år, gick sönder. Vi började titta på nya bilar, begagnade bilar, elbilar, tjänstebilar och annat. Det var verkligen en djungel. Det mest fascinerande var dock hur känslomässig resan att köpa en ny bil blev. Det var många sena kvällar och till slut bestämde jag mig, nu köper vi en begagnad, 3-4 år gammal bil som gått 4500 mil. Dvs vi följer den klassiska privatekonomiska regeln för att göra det minst dåliga bilköpet. Ganska nöjd skriver jag det i den långa forumtråden, där man kan följa hela historien. Vårt nästa bilköp blir en begagnad V90 från 2018 som gått 4 000 mil för 370 000 SEK. Färdigt och klart tänker jag. Dessa borde på 3 år ge samma totalekonomi". Här blev det tilt och error i mitt huvud. Hur kan en helt ny bil - som är dubbelt så dyr - ge samma eller bättre totalekonomi? Jag förstod ingenting. Det ledde till en natt ner i kaninhålet kring bl.a. privatleasing. Något som jag haft mycket fördomar kring. Privatleasing, det är ju bara något man gör om man inte har råd. Ändå satt jag här och hur jag än vände och vred på det, så hade ni läsare rätt. Om man tog hänsyn till HELA totalekonomin, bränsle, försäkring, värdeminskning, service, reparation, skatt så blir den ointuitiva slutsatsen att: "Att köpa en ny bil var billigare och mer förmånligt än att köpa en begagnad". Sjukt! I avsnittet ger vi exempel på hur vi räknade och gjorde en enkel totalkostnadskalkyl (TCO)-kalkyl, insikter såsom att man borde passa på att sälja sin bensin/dieselbil innan fler inser samma sak som vi och att jag haft fördomar om bl.a. privatleasing. I dagens avsnitt befinner vi oss på Zenuity ett av de mest framstående företagen när det kommer till självkörande fordon. Här intervjuar Ulf Dennis Nobelius om hans tid som som projektledare för XC90, S90 och V90 som drev upp till att idag vara de flaggskepp som Volvo ofta förknippas med samt hans hur han gick därifrån till att idag ha drivit upp Zenuity till ett av de ledande företagen inom självkörande fordon.Detta var dock ingenting som han byggde upp gratis, utveckling som han ledde hos Volvo var ett enormt kliv både tekniskt och kommersiellt. Att kunna få med Volvos ledningen på idén om att det skulle vara coolt att äga en Volvobil igen var en svår utmaning. Den gigantiska satsningen som detta dessutom krävde var någonting som krävde ett stort mod. Och mod är någonting som har följt Dennis genom hela hans ledarskap.Vidare berättar han om hur han gick från projekt ledare på Volvo till det nystartade företaget Zenuity. Han berättar även hur han på bara 3 och ett halvt års tid med sitt ledarskap tagit det från en idé till att i dagsläget ha 800 anställda i Shanghai, Detroit, Göteborg, München och Santa Clara. Detta är något som han har lyckats med, tack vare en organisation byggd på små dedikerade team som har hjälp dem att kunna ta till vare på kompetensen hos varje enskild metarbarbetare.

Lassen Sie uns heute mal wieder den Blick in den hohen Norden richten – nach Schweden. Dabei denke ich nicht etwa an ein „unmögliches Möbelhaus“, sondern an ein Auto. Doch das könnte grade für Besuche in dem angesprochenen Möbelhaus hilfreich sein, denn das V bei Volvo V90 steht für die Kombiversion. Wir beschäftigen uns aber in dem folgenden Beitrag mal nicht mit dem Stauvolumen. Falls es Sie interessiert, hilft ein Blick ins Internet! Darum geht es diesmal!Was das Thema Automarken angeht gibt es ja viele, die das dreigeteilt sehen. Einige Marken liebt man, anderen Marken steht man gleichgültig gegenüber und die dritten kann man – ich sage es mal höflich – nicht ausstehen. Volvo liebe ich, aber sagen Sie es nicht weiter, sonst werde ich noch für befangen gehalten! Ich muss allerdings zugeben, es ist nicht sonderlich schwer, den Volvo V90 D5 AWD im R-Design zu mögen. Power und Drive!    Kurios ist, wie sich die Wertigkeiten bei Fahrzeugen verschieben, das zeigt sich auch in den Pressemappen immer häufiger. Stand früher ganz am Anfang die Motorleistung, so finden sich heute erst einmal Connectivity, Assistenzsysteme und Ausstattung. In der Pressemappe zum Volvo V90 geht es beispielsweise auf Seite 31 von 63 erst so richtig um die Motoren.  Die decken übrigens ein Leistungsspektrum von 110 kW (150 PS) bis 288 kW (390 PS) ab. Topmotorisierung ist der T8 Twin Engine mit leistungsstarkem Plug-in-Hybridantrieb mit einer Systemleistung von 288 kW (390 PS) und einem Drehmoment von bis zu 640 Nm.  Unser Testfahrzeug war zwar etwas bescheidener motorisiert, aber 173 kW (235 PS) und ein maximales Drehmoment von 480 Nm reichen nun wirklich aus, um ausgesprochen zügig unterwegs zu sein.  Der Spurt auf Tempo 100 wird in 7,2 Sekunden erledigt, die Höchstgeschwindigkeit bei 235 km/h erreicht. Der durchschnittliche Kraftstoffverbrauch pendelt sich sich auf 5,6 Liter je 100 Kilometer ein, die CO2-Emissionen liegen bei 146 bis 148 g/km. Die Geartronic Achtgang-Automatik und ein Start-Stopp-System sind Serienausstattung. Die Kosten!V90 fahren geht aktuell bei 44.550,00 EUR los, dafür kann man dann einen D3 mit 6-Gang Schaltgetriebe und 110kW (150 PS) sein eigen nennen. Die Spitze des preislichen Eisbergs ist dann der T8 TWIN ENGINE AWD. Unser Testfahrzeug, der Volvo V90 D5 AWD R-Design startet bei 62.300,00 EUR. Man kann aber noch allerlei Zusätzliches an Ausstattung ordern, wie der Gesamtpreis unseres Testfahrzeugs von 85.420 EUR beweist. Aber dann hat man auch ein absolutes Topauto. Ich bleibe dabei.
