Ugens udgave af Bilradio afslører en opsigtsvækkende manøvre, hvor helt nye amerikanske elbiler kommer til Danmark ad usædvanlige kanaler med en potentielt stor besparelse. Det plejer at være de tyske luksusmærker, der løber med opmærksomheden, men i denne uge skifter fokus til USA. En jysk bilforhandler henter helt nye, elektriske luksusbiler fra det amerikanske mærke Cadillac direkte hjem til Danmark, og bilhuset bliver samtidig officielt servicecenter for det ikoniske mærke. Takket være de danske afgiftsregler for elbiler kan de amerikanske luksusvogne lande på dansk jord med en stor besparelse i forhold til, hvad bilerne koster på det store tyske marked. Kåringen af Polestar 2 som Årets Brugtbil 2026 bliver også behandlet grundigt. Bilerne bliver revet væk, og udbuddet er i frit fald. Polestar 2 vinder på sit skarpe design og stærke software, selvom man skal huske, at undervognskomforten ikke helt matcher de dyrere biler i klassen. Priserne på brugte elbiler stiger nu samtidig over en bred kam, og det bliver analyseret af Jan Lang. Der sogenannte Tankrabatt, den die Bundesregierung zur Abfederung der Spritpreise eingesetzt hat, hat die Hälfte seiner Laufzeit erreicht. Bis Ende des Monats gilt er noch, aber wie geht es danach weiter? Tankrabatt wirkt, aber Zukunft an den Tankstellen unklar Der Tankrabatt habe zwar etwas Bewegung in den Markt gebracht, sagt Birgit Priemer, Chefredakteurin von Auto, Motor und Sport. Gleichzeitig sei die Maßnahme von Anfang an umstritten gewesen. Manche Tankstellen hätten die Preise vor dem Start erst erhöht, um den Rabatt später leichter weiterzugeben. Das habe viel Unruhe ausgelöst. Priemer kritisierte zudem, der Tankrabatt helfe vor allem Menschen mit großen, verbrauchsintensiven Autos. Für sozial Schwächere sei er kaum ein gezieltes Instrument der Unterstützung. Priemer findet Kosten für den Staat zu hoch Aus ihrer Sicht stehen die Kosten in keinem guten Verhältnis zum Nutzen. Die rund 1,6 Milliarden Euro an Steuermindereinnahmen hätte man ihrer Ansicht nach anders einsetzen können. Priemer verweist darauf, dass Benzin und Diesel in Deutschland ohnehin stark mit Steuern und Abgaben belastet seien. Bei Benzin liege der Anteil bei rund 60 Prozent, beim Diesel bei etwa 50 Prozent. Deshalb brauche es aus ihrer Sicht eher einen generellen Hebel, der allen Verbrauchern und auch Unternehmen helfe. Ab Juli: Energie-Bilanz wird wichtiger Für die Zeit nach dem Auslaufen des Tankrabatts rät Priemer dazu, die eigene Mobilität genauer zu prüfen. Jeder müsse sich fragen, wie viele Kilometer wirklich gefahren würden und ob dafür immer das Auto nötig sei. Auch bei der nächsten Anschaffung lohne sich ein Blick auf sparsamere Modelle, Plug-in-Hybride oder ein Elektroauto. Wer die Möglichkeit habe, privat zu laden, könne ebenfalls umdenken. Benzin- und Dieselpreise würden ihrer Einschätzung nach schwer kalkulierbar bleiben und langfristig eher steigen. Neu- und Gebrauchtwagen: E-Autos legen deutlich zu Trotz hoher Preise sieht Priemer eine wachsende Nachfrage nach Elektroautos. Das liege nicht nur am Krieg gegen die Ukraine und den hohen Energiepreisen, sondern auch an einem besseren Angebot. Günstigere Modelle wie der Dacia Spring oder der Citroën ë-C3 machten den Einstieg leichter. Hinzu komme die wieder verfügbare Förderung. Im April seien die Neuzulassungen im Vergleich zum Vorjahr um 41 Prozent gestiegen, der Marktanteil habe in Deutschland knapp 26 Prozent erreicht. Bei gefragten Modellen wie dem Mercedes CLA oder dem BMW iX3 gebe es inzwischen sogar monatelange Wartezeiten.

Den nye BMW iX3 har allerede fyldt godt i bilsnakken i år. Nu bliver den endnu mere interessant. I denne uges Bilradio taler Christian Schacht og Jan Lang om den nye iX3 40, som bliver den billigste udgave af BMW’s nye elektriske SUV. Den får baghjulstræk, 320 hk og en officiel rækkevidde på op til 628 kilometer. Det lyder måske som en klassisk basisudgave, hvor man har pillet pynten af juletræet. Men her er der stadig masser af bil tilbage. Samtidig lander prisen lavere, end mange havde ventet. Pointen er, at mange danskere næppe har brug for firehjulstræk eller topudgaven. Derfor kan iX3 40 meget vel blive den model, der rammer flest. Ferrari går på strøm Bilradio vender også den første rigtige elbil fra Ferrari. Den hedder Ferrari Luce, og den har allerede sat ild til både fans, investorer og kommentarfelter. På papiret er den helt vanvittig. Fire elmotorer, 1.035 hk, 0-100 km/t på 2,5 sekunder og en topfart på over 310 km/t. Batteriet er på 122 kWh, og rækkevidden er over 500 kilometer. Men spørgsmålet er ikke kun, hvor hurtigt den kører. Det handler også om, hvorvidt en Ferrari uden benzinmotor stadig føles som en Ferrari. Og så er der diskussionen om bilens pudsige design. Det taler Bilradio også om • Lexus RZ350, Kia EV5 og status på brugtbilmarkedet. • Alpine åbner i Danmark. • Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé kommer som rendyrket elbil. • Fiat Grizzly bliver næste store model i Panda-familien. • Clever hæver priserne og tester V2X-teknologi med Polestar. • I testgaragen står Toyota Aygo X Hybrid. • Der er også lytterspørgsmål. I ugens udgave af »Bilradio« tager værterne Christian Schacht og Jan Lang nemlig temperaturen på et marked, der lige nu skifter gear hurtigere end en Tesla i Ludicrous-mode. Her får du en fuldvoksen familiebil til en pris, der får de europæiske mærker til at ligne nogle, der har sovet i timen. Mens priskrigen raser i bunden af markedet, har Christian Schacht haft fat i det tunge skyts i testgaragen. Han har nemlig kørt den nye BMW iX3, og begejstringen er ikke til at tage fejl af. Faktisk går han så langt som til at spørge, om BMW’en er den bedste elbil, man kan købe netop nu. Audi er også vågnet til dåd. Den populære Q4 e-tron har fået et tiltrængt facelift, men den største nyhed gemmer Christian Schacht til sidst: Han har som en af de få fået lov til at smugkigge på en helt særlig Audi-model, der rammer Danmark mod slutningen af året. BMW will pull the iX, the automaker's first dedicated electric SUV, from its U.S. lineup as it shifts focus to a next-generation electric vehicle platform, BMWBlog reported. A spokesperson stated that the company will prioritize upcoming Neue Klasse models, beginning with the iX3 SUV.BMW announced the iX in 2021 and began sales in 2022. The vehicle features an estimated range of up to 364 miles, a bodyshell that includes carbon fiber-reinforced polymer and a starting MSRP of about $75,000. The iX drew mixed reactions, particularly over its interior design, which featured the high-resolution Curved Display, a hexagonal steering wheel and the option to integrate speakers into the seat. Verdenspremieren på den Cupra Raval fra Barcelona har ændret spillereglerne. I denne uge går Bilradio i dybden med den model, der spås at blive en af de mest betydningsfulde lanceringer i år. Med en lav startpris sender Raval en direkte udfordring til både europæiske og kinesiske rivaler. Bilen er tro mod sit rå ydre og kombinerer det med praktiske løsninger som et bagagerum på 441 liter og en trækvægt på 1.200 kg – tal, der normalt hører til i større klasser. Samtidig skaber det optimisme om priserne på de øvrige små elbiler fra VW-koncernen, der lanceres snart. Der er dog en alvorlig hage ved den nye basismodel. Mens de spanske priser skaber røre, lurer Tesla i baggrunden med meldinger om en endnu mindre og billigere model, der kan lande på de danske veje. FOLLOW UP: NTSB REPORTS ON FATAL BLUECRUISE INCIDENTSThe National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has published their report on two fatal incidents that involved Ford's BlueCruise semi-automated driving system, that allows for ‘hands off eyes on' driving. Some blame is being put on the driver's “over-reliance” in the systems, but also it is made clear the company and regulations played a part. if you wish to read more on the findings, click this CNN article link here.However, the findings fail to discuss the inherent flaw in the system that has been documented from as far back as April 1948, when it comes to humans supervising automated systems. Click this Sage Journals link to N H Mackworth's research examining this issue.MOTABILITY DRIVERS SINGLED OUT AGAINThanks to the victimisation of those using the Motability scheme, originating from a far-right ‘think-tank', all drivers under 30 and those newly entering the scheme will have to have black boxes fitted. These boxes will record their journeys and from the binary inputs of those drivers they will be ‘judged' on how well they drive. This is despicable because the technology cannot judge because it is only using the binary inputs on braking, accelerating and steering with absolutely no knowledge of the environment or anything occurring around the vehicle.
