Having settled in just a bit, everyone does a little exploring. While some people are getting to know the city of Dynafel, others are investigating their traveling companion's motives. While Oben's help has been greatly appreciated, no one is quite sure if he is to be fully trusted. Rooms are snooped in, noodles are enjoyed, and helpful guides are acquired. In this episode we explore the life and writing of a founding father of hardcore punk, Henry Rollins. A man that dove head first into his life and has become...almost everything. He's a punk rock and music legend, a movie start, writer, television host, a producer, DJ, a reporter, an interviewer, and so, so much more. We'll also delve into one of his books and along the way discover the greatest neighborhood ever imagined, how to seize life's reins, and beat the hell out of ice cream store customers. Join me for "Before the Chop III" by Henry Rollins, I promise you'll never look at circumcision the same way again. You heard me. This is not the first podcast about Don't Worry Darling. But this is one of the few that discusses the film, and its transformation from a Black Mirror-esque spec script written by Dick Van Dyke's grandsons into a beautiful but poorly paced film with a confusing message. And somehow, between those two, there was a solid, compelling script. But it was paired with a directorial intention that was fundamentally opposed to the story, and the film began to unravel from there. White Waves - Finding Peace In Your Anxiety and Stressful Life
The Meuse River is the largest river to pass through Belgium. It stretches for 575 miles across France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Approximately 113 miles of this can be found in Belgium, where it forms part of the border with the Netherlands. Today I'm just having a relaxing walk around. No particular destination. Just walk, sight seeing and recording this podcast. You can hear the bell chime and river flowing. Totally let go of your stress and follow me. Remember to subscribe to my channel. More podcast coming your way.

San Diego's 5th Avenue stretches for 9 blocks in downtown's Gaslamp Quarter and forms a lively corridor away from the urban noise. Pedestrians stroll around a diverse collection of modern and historic buildings on this popular street in San Diego as Latin music fills the air. Due to the city's efforts to preserve the Gaslamp Quarter's charm, 5th Avenue features beautiful Victorian and Baroque architecture. I had the luxury to walk along 5th Avenue. You can hear the cars moving, but overall was peaceful. I had nothing much to do, just an umbrella and my recording devices with me. I carried a backpack and just record whatever I captured on audio, sharing with my audiences in this podcast. If you like it, remember to subscribe. More amazing podcast coming your way. Thank you!
Dr Horrible's Sing-along Blog was born from the 2007 Writers Strike as a bold new way to take power back from the studios. Or at least, that's one version of the story. Another involves a long-gestating podcast project. Yet another involves Jeff Bezos. A 42 Minute webseries that apparently earned Joss Whedon more money than The Avengers, Dr Horrible was released almost six months after the Writers Strike but is indelibly tied to it. But was it the first of many, or lightning in a bottle? CONTENT WARNING: Joss Whedon has been accused of abuse, harassment, racism, bullying and gaslighting, by a number of former co-workers and his ex-wife. He denies all suggestions of misconduct. Hello! To you each and every single podcast listener and “Thank You!”Coming to you from Whidbey Island, Washington this is Stories From Women Who Walk with 60 Seconds for Wednesdays on Whidbey and your host, Diane Wyzga.Once upon a time I launched a podcast inviting you to listen to the stories of women who were walking their lives while their lives walked them and the difference that made. Plenty to listen to in Symphony's Grand Bazaar. But it seems the information our adventurous trio seeks is in a different district, somewhere a bit more familiar to some of the group than others. Gossip is overheard, gambles are made, and offers are put on the table. Join us as Nehemiah, Smalren, and Jhori explore the Modal District. On this week's episode, Richard details his wife Marcia's experience with metastatic pancreatic cancer and their conversations about illness, death and dying, which Richard compares to jumping into water: “You go under water for a while, and then you surface.” The aesthetics and flow of water, which Marcia loved, proved a vital resource in their life, love and journey together. The imagery of a “smooth river” became symbolic of their approach to Marcia's cancer and end of life. It brought calmness, openness and a sense of direction to their dialogues and their insistence on living in the present. A guiding force, the smooth river also serves as the namesake of Richard's forthcoming book, The Smooth River: Finding Inspiration and Exquisite Beauty during Terminal Illness.
