Valentine's Day is almost here, and we're celebrating! Uh, sort of? Most importantly, the songs are good. They're decent. Give them a chance. In fact, "Christmas Baby" by Infinity Song is practically begging to be given a chance, for better or worse. If second chances (or lack thereof) are more your thing, try our next selection, "We Should Be Together" by Rosie Thomas and Sufjan Stevens. This is a simple theme! It's romance songs!! Simple!!! The ranking music in this episode is "We Belong Together" by Mariah Carey.

Somewhere in my memory. Nick Pitera2.-All I want for Christmas is you. 1. God can Turn your Marks of Sin into Memorials of Grace- It's not a license to sin, or a reward for sin, but we often grow in grace when we are disciplined.- Zechariah had nine months to reflect on God's promise to him. - Meditate on God's Word in the midst of difficult times!2. Jesus is our Horn of Salvation - What does that mean? Not a horn that you blow. - Psalm 92:9-10 gives us a picture of what it stood for: Weapon!- There are only two instances of the phrase “horn of salvation” in the Old Testament and they are references to God, not man.- God is his defense (his shield) and his offense (his deadly and powerful horn).- He is a horn of salvation because he uses his power to secure and protect his people.3. Our Role is to Point to Christ!- While this message is called “The Other Christmas Baby”, you see that there isn't much about him here. We find out his name, John, and his purpose…proclamation.- Two big ways that we can point the lost people to Jesus this Christmas season. - Share the message! Let your actions back up your words. - Be generous!

We were asked to contribute a holiday song suggestion for the Songfacts podcast for their annual Holiday Special. We knew there's be lots of suggestions, so we had to dig deep, and when "the other Steve" suggested the super rare "Sexy Christmas Baby Mine" by low-rock legends Morphine. The perfectly titled “Sexy Christmas Baby Mine” was originally the B-side for the 7-inch release of "Cure For Pain," and recently included on the anthology “At Your Service.” It is everything you'd expect from the band; it is different, it is classic and it is undeniably Morphine. Additionally, we were able to speak with drummer Billy Conway about the song and his memories and recollections of "Sexy Christmas Baby Mine," Happy Holidays!
