Today is part two of my interview with Kell Lester. In this episode, we dive into Kelly's return to faith after all she had suffered, and her views on abortion, and pro-life. Kelly attributes her recovery to her connection to faith and healing and saw just how beauty triumphs from the ashes. Through telling her story, Kelly is giving hope that you can come back from the ugly of life, and you can make it beautiful. About our guest: Kelly's story is one that covers so many difficult and painful topics in our world today. Child molestation, raped as a teen, several abortions, drug dealing, eating disorders, homosexuality, pornography, prostitution, and even working in the clinic where she had her first abortion. But beauty triumphs from the ashes, and Kelly is a testament to how God can clean all the dirty parts of a painful life story and make it brand new. Now a wife and mother of six children, Kelly loves to share her story to give hope to the most desperate situations proving that God can save anybody. She is currently a client advocate for LoveLine Ministries, Director of Outreach for And Then There Were None and Pro-Love Ministries, and a board member for Village Ansanm: Living Stones Ministries. https://www.facebook.com/kellylesterforlife (https://www.facebook.com/kellylesterforlife) https://www.ambassadorspeakers.com/speakers/unique/kelly-lester (https://www.ambassadorspeakers.com/speakers/unique/kelly-lester) https://www.instagram.com/mamakellylester/ (https://www.instagram.com/mamakellylester/) Thanks for listening! Today I am joined by Kelly Lester, and the conversation was so in-depth, that we had to split it into two parts. In this episode, Kelly shares her story of sexual abuse, abortions, and how to be a safe place for your children to open up about their lives. Kelly believes in creating a place in your home for your children to feel safe to fail so that when the big challenges of life come up, they can trust you will be there to support them. After a rape and later abortion when she was 15, Kelly had drastic changes in her life. She was forced to grow up fast and deviate from the life she was building for herself. Kelly bravely shares her story and advocates for safe places for young women to share their own stories. Listen in to this tough and important conversation. About our guest: Kelly's story is one that covers so many difficult and painful topics in our world today. Child molestation, raped as a teen, several abortions, drug dealing, eating disorders, homosexuality, pornography, prostitution, and even working in the clinic where she had her first abortion. In this episode, I am joined by Patrick Carroll and he walks us through the possibilities of energetically removing traumatic experiences through shamanic practices. When Patrick began his shamanic training, he was faced with a repeating question, “Why, years later, has the traumatic effect not faded?”. What he found was a term called entanglement. Entanglement comes after a very intense emotional event or trauma that connects a victim to the perpetrator. Patrick is considered a trauma surgeon, as he connects to the threads that are still tying a victim to their perpetrator and goes in to remove them for deeper healing. Listen in to this riveting conversation and Patrick's message of hope for healing. About our guest: Blessed with an unusual gift from birth to see the energy and sense strong emotion in others, Patrick's mission in life and sole purpose is to take on the worst cases of trauma, and sexual and emotional abuse from around the world. Credited with preventing the suicide of many people, Patrick's work has helped lifelong sufferers of mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual abuse to finally be set free. Along the way, he developed his own clinical procedures based on a mash-up of Quantum Physics, Jung's concept of the multi-dimensional psyche, and various shamanic technics for tracking and dissolving trauma. If you are directly affected or know someone who is, this could be the last piece of the puzzle. Patrick Carroll is only contactable via JohnPatrick@ShamanicRecovery.com. Thanks for listening! Have you ever struggled with periods of low self-esteem? Have you ever been destroyed, heartbroken, and betrayed by someone you really loved? Did you grow up with alcoholic parents? When I met Vanessa Broers in 2021, I was immediately captivated by her energy, her spirit, and her visionary work. The way she supported business leaders to embrace more humanity and empathy and then translate it into their own personal power, better performance, and more joy. Over the last few months, I've come to learn so much more about Vanessa's personal story growing up with an alcoholic mother, being sexually assaulted, manipulated, and taken advantage of by a former boyfriend, and then being dramatically challenged by accidental motherhood. It had a profoundly positive effect on me and my healing journey, and I know you will benefit from it too. There is so much to uncover in one episode, so we have broken it into two parts. Are you considering telling your partner, family, or friends about what happened to you in the past? In this episode, the World's Best Courage Coach, Laban Ditchburn, and who is also my darling fiance, talks about why it's so important to share about your trauma, what was his experience after I opened up about my sexual abuse, and how it has changed our relationship. This episode will also help you to prepare for the conversation and provide you with helpful tips, and ways to cope with negative reactions if they occur. A child badly affected by divorce and dysfunction, Laban sought validation and escapism in all the wrong places. But through self-discovery, not being afraid to ask for help and a ton of hard work, he conquered the full gamut of addictions—alcohol, sex, gambling, drugs, and negative self-talk. By understanding and then reverse-engineering the root cause of why he needed to escape, giving up his addictions was almost effortless. These days he gets his high from ultra-marathon running and searching the planet for the world's best steak! Today, he defines the word transformation. Reshaping his body by swapping sixty pounds of body fat with thirty pounds of muscle and bone, he discovered a simple cure for his “incurable” auto-immune disease in the process. Now physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally in charge of his own destiny, Laban's journey continues to inspire those ready to change their lives. An exemplar and a revolutionary, he revels in unabashedly sharing what he's learned: how to conquer the demons you don't know you have, and how to be unstoppable in getting to where you want to be. Laban's debut and internationally acclaimed book “Bet on You” is a “can't put down” must-read with its raw, real, hilarious, and inspiring message of hope. Today, I feel so deeply blessed and grateful to have Dr. Bridget Cooper with us. I was powerfully moved and inspired by her TEDx talk to start my own healing journey before I even met her, and as you will hear, I have been even more powerfully moved by her work in this episode! And I know you will find it beneficial too! In this episode, Dr. B shares her secret on how to overcome shame and fear of judgment when you open up to the world. We also talk about infertility issues after sexual abuse, what are some of the benefits of trauma, and why it's so important to heal. Dr. Bridget Cooper is a cage rattler. Change strategist. Thought shifter. Best-selling author of six books on communication, conflict, change, and empowerment. Her latest, “Pain Rebel” offers us a roadmap out of pain with no purpose and into empowerment and abundance. Dr. B is a lover of higher consciousness and even higher heels! Her ambitious mission is to change the world, one hopeful life at a time. Born onto the welfare system and raised by wolves, she's made her own success, one broken fingernail at a time. She knows heartache and hopelessness and she also knows the power of the mind and spirit to carry you upward. “Dr. B” sculpts the leader in all of us by making us better people first.
