This week, we're going all the way back to ancient Greece. We'll examine the story of Aspasia of Miletus, a woman who came to Athens around 450 BC and quickly became the talk of the town. Her name appears over and over again in writing from the time, Socrates wrote about her, Plato, Plutarch, Cicero the orator, Xenophon the historian, Athenaeus the writer, Aristophanes the comic playwright, Pericles the leader of the city-state of Athens. One woman's name was on all of their minds: Aspasia of Miletus. They loved her. They hated her. They called her a great mind, a teacher, a master of rhetoric. They called a prostitute, a cheap whore, a brothel madam. They gave her credit for writing great speeches passed on to men. They gave her credit for starting great wars, the ruin of Athens. But who was Aspasia really and why was everyone talking about her? Join me to find out! Support the show! “There is only one man who can lead any worker's regime.” Together, Eva and Colonel Perón built a political movement powered by operatic rhetoric. Perónism promised genuine benefits for the working class, denouncing violence and emphasising ritual and spectacle. Eva embodied the working-class migrant to Buenos Aires that Perón sought to attract, and she increasingly entered the role of his partner both at home and in government. Ostentatiously flamboyant in her dress sense, how did Evita become a woman of the people who also wore Christian Dior? Has your woman ever been in her masculine, and you wished she was in her feminine? Here's something that doesn't work: "Hey, could you drop into your feminine already?" ;)So how do you polarize your woman well? Polarity is one of those mysteries in life like electricity: We don't fully grasp why it works, but we can harness its power to make our lives better.I love polarity work because it can make a concrete difference in sex, love, dating, and relationships. I've seen countless clients ditch old dating advice, learn about this, and then say, "Wow, this polarity thing really works on a date." Or, "Man, I wish I'd known about polarity sooner ... my marriage might have gone differently."The fact is, no one teaches us about dating and sexuality and HOW to connect well. Most men don't learn how to flirt with girls, how to polarize a partner, or even what polarity is. Yet it's a fundamental relationship dynamic that can help with everything. Here we lay out five practical ways to polarize a woman partner into her feminine, helping her to drop into her heart and soften. If you've ever wondered why certain evenings with your wife or girlfriend were magical, while others felt like pulling teeth, this may help. And if you're a man who has sex with women and you want to help your woman soften, receive more of your love, and relax into even deeper levels of trust, this one is for you.Quick note: We talk about this on the podcast and wanted to include it here: If you suspect your partner may have Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) (i.e. nothing you do ever seems to make a difference with her), polarity work won't cut it.You may also want to listen to our episode on that subject: 128: Feel like you're walking on eggshells? Today we are speaking with Zoe Cruz, who was the Head of the Fixed Income Division at Morgan Stanley when Jen started her career as a summer intern back in 2005, and who ultimately went on to become President of the firm when Kristen started full-time at MS in 2007. She rose to the absolute upper echelons of high finance at a time when it was virtually unheard of for a woman to reach that level of leadership.Zoe has an incredible story. She started her Wall Street career as a young mother and built the FX business from scratch at one of the world's most elite investment banks. Zoe was at one point ranked number 10 on the Forbes list of the world's top 100 most powerful women, has previously topped Fortune magazine's list of highest paid women in the world, has served on countless boards and advisory councils, started a macro hedge fund (cue Elle Woods…”I mean, what, like it's hard?”), and she is currently the founder and CEO of Menai Financial Group, a firm focused on the world of “defi” (or decentralized finance). Our conversation with Zoe is both a candid look at evolving gender roles on Wall Street and an exciting glimpse into "the next big thing" in finance from the perspective of one of the industry's biggest trailblazers.Follow us on Instagram and Tik Tok at @thewallstreetskinnyhttps://www.instagram.com/thewallstreetskinny/

This week the James Allen on F1 podcast comes face to face with the most powerful woman in F1; Renee Wilm. Renee is Chief Legal And Administrative Officer of Liberty Media, the company that owns F1. She has played a central role in the way the company has shaped and grown F1 since 2017. But she is also the CEO of Las Vegas Grand Prix, which meant she was in the hot seat and responsible for delivering F1's most ambitious race in barely a year from the announcement. There were a few hiccups to say the least, from locals irate about road closures and grumbles about unsold hospitality units, through to the manhole cover that lifted during practice, damaging Carlos Sainz's Ferrari. But it yielded a spectacular race and gave Willm a notebook full of ideas on how to improve for year two. Uniquely for F1, Renee heads a female dominated leadership team at Las Vegas GP and we discuss her mission to create opportunities for women to grow into whatever role they want to be in, whether that's an engineer, a mechanic, a business executive, a team principal, or the ultimate goal: an F1 driver. We discuss why she thinks F1 has only scratched the surface in the US and how Renee felt when the local authority told her that the economic impact of the race on the city had been $1.5 billion, more than double the Superbowl that took place three months later. And she explains what F1 learned from being the race promoter itself for the first time. James is joined in the studio for chat and analysis by Autosport GP editor Jon Noble and Joshua Robinson of the Wall Street Journal. Only a weak woman needs to prove her strength. A powerful woman is embodied, grounded and she doesn't have a point to prove, especially with her man If you're dominating or trying to prove your man wrong, ask: Where is this coming from? What is my need to prove him wrong? We have tension in our relationships because we are not in our feminine, It's because we're too focused on winning. We don't see it as a focus on winning, we see it as; I'm right and he needs to know I'm right. Whereas we need to question what the end goal is. You don't need to assert your power because in the assertion shows that you're not grounded in it. I love helping women ground into their power. When they're grounded into their power they can attract the right man or heal the relationship they're in. And the best part is when they show up differently for their man, the relationship begins to transform. It takes one person to transform a relationship. If you're ready to transform your relationship, DM me the word relationship and I'll send you a free relationship resource. We also know that centering Black women in positions of power is good for the entire economy. Mellody Hobson, President and Co-CEO of Ariel Investments is using her influence as one of America's most powerful women to create more revenue for minority-owned businesses with Project Black. This episode was inspired after seeing a teacher online share how much she hated all this talk of ‘women need to stop emasculating men'. And how she felt this was just another way in which women were taught to stay small & subservient. I ( Meg!) STRONGLY FUCKING DISAGREE. I stand for women in their power. Women taking up space. Women in their full spectrum. And I also stand for women loving, celebrating & revering men really fucking well. These can co-exist. Learning how to celebrate & love a man really well is NOT about playing small or caging up your voice or truth or needs. NO. You can be a POWERFUL, FULL SPECTRUM WOMAN and love your man really well. And this is exactly what today's episode is all about. We dive deep into…A common challenge powerful women face in relationship Why men guard their hearts What to do when you don't/ are struggling to trust your man Why women emasculate & what to do instead Being your partner's BIGGEST CHEERLEADER Reminding your man he's a powerful muttthhhaaa-fucker Having a kink for ‘being right' & knowing better' in your relationship How to love men really wellMeg's love of menThe story of Jacob's first men's circle And much, much more Big love,Meg & Jacob xx
Recognizing Borderline Personality Disorder.---Ready to go beyond the podcast? We love working with men who are ready to do the work!If you're committed to breaking old patterns and transforming your sex & love life in a real and lasting way, take action here.
