All these agencies, departments and courts trying to slow or even stop the President of the United States from doing his job just doesn't feel very American to me. Yes, it's a matter or historical fact that never in our history has any Commander in Chief been subjected to this kind of onslaught and it's tiring and old. It's also not working. So, what's the point? Celebs take over KC for Big Slick weekend as the Royals host the first place Tigers.... this should be fun. KU hoops has an incredible new lead assistant coach and a freshman Bill Self calls the best freshman he's ever had. www.dannyclinkscale.com is here to discuss that, the stadium issues and his personal journey this summer 10 years after being cancer free. It's a conversation you'll feel great about.
Hour 3 – The Drive explained how the Big Slick at The K has become one of the most marquee events that the stadium holds.

The Alabama Saltwater Fishing Report is your best resource for the Gulf Shores Surf Fishing Report, Orange Beach Fishing Report, Dauphin Island Fishing Report, Mobile Bay Fishing Report, and Alabama saltwater fishing everywhere in between. For the anglers looking for an Orange Beach Fishing Report, Gulf Shores fishing report and Fort Morgan fishing report, look no further than the Alabama Saltwater Fishing Report. This week we bring you an "nearshore" report for those anglers interested in a gulf shores report. This week we're talking to Capt. Ben Knight who is giving us the Alabama Fishing report all the way from the Flora Bama to Fort Morgan. Capt. Ben has been very successful with redfish inside the pass and outside the pass. He gives great information on how to locate these bulls and how to catch them when you do find them. Capt. Ben is seeing excellent numbers of flounder just South of the beach over around the orange beach, Gulf Shores area. He tells us where and how to target these flounder as they are moving out offshore. For our guys looking for the Dauphin Island inshore fishing report or the Orange Beach Inshore Fishing Report, Capt. Shane Traylor has what you need to know to catch more speckled trout, redfish, and tripletail and how to catch each of these species in the area. The tactics and tips we discuss here each week can be applied to many areas when fishing Alabama's coast and other states along the Gulf of Mexico. Captain Shane has the speckled trout dialed in. We talk grubs, throwing the Big Slick and the lil slick. What colors have been working and you may be surprised how Capt. Shane has been working his lures to catch these fish. Cadence, bait profile and presentation seem to be very important right now. For the Alabama Fishing Report offshore and the Gulf fishing report, tune in for this week's report with Thomas Hilton. You never know what you might get in the offshore Gulf Fishing report each week. We cover nearshore fishing from Captain's running center consoles and fishing for red snapper, grouper, triggerfish, king mackerel, cobia, and more. When we head to blue water, we have contributions from some of the best Captain's on the tournament circuit and off who fish for tuna, wahoo, mahi-mahi, and billfish. We talk with Tom and get an offshore snapshot from the satellite imagery that he is seeing right now. We talk about patterns and how to figure out what conditions were/are present when fish are around and how to reverse engineer the ingredients to replicate the recipe for success. It's all brought to you whether it's good, bad, or ugly. Please subscribe, rate, and review wherever you listen to podcasts and if you'd like us to email you the podcast, just head over to greatdaysoutdoors.com/asfr and we'll send you the new show each week. {Full Disclosure: This post may include affiliate links. If you felt like the entire season was on the line for the Royals Sunday, you weren't alone. And when it looked most bleak it was a pinch hitter in the bottom of the 9th that delivered the biggest hit of the season. This was NOT just another game. In college baseball, Kansas State goes 3-0 in the Arkansas regional to advance to the Super Regional this week. Just 16 teams remain and if the Cats can win a series against Virginia, they will go to Omaha for the College World Series. The Big Slick folks crushed it raising $4 million this weekend. Racism is all over the place in the WNBA in both actions and words. A candidate for Missouri Secretary of State says the Chiefs are on board with her not supporting Pride month. And a fan is pulled out of the gallery on the PGA tour to become part of the action.
The big sales and freebies you won't want to miss in June to help you save. Also, over the weekend, Al Roker attended the annual “Big Slick” event where a group of famous friends return to their hometown of Kansas City to raise money for the local children's hospital. Plus, some can't miss Father's Day gift ideas to purchase at a discount. And, the 3rd hour team kicks off their June Start TODAY walking challenge to help you get your exercise in this summer.
