Jared is joined by comedian and longtime friend Greg Stone for a classic Chit Chat Wednesday full of derailments, dad life, and perfectly unhinged takes. They spiral from a broken sponsor e-bike into NDAs, Hollywood rumors, and why Greg absolutely cannot be trusted with secrets. The conversation jumps to toys, parenting, Christmas gifts, and Greg's very intense opinions on action figures, trains, and ruining his own kids' expectations. Then they play a rapid-fire 2025 Rorschach test, breaking down viral moments like the Coldplay kiss cam, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Katy Perry in space, and the mysterious 6-7 trend. It's loose, chaotic, and exactly what happens when two comedians let each other cook.Jared is on tour!

The most people washing dishes simultaneously is 412 and was achieved by Henkel (Algeria) and Pril-Isis, in Algiers, Algeria, on 16 June 2017. https://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/112306-most-people-washing-dishes-simultaneously Sponsor Message If you want some help finding solid footing underneath you, or help finding the right step to leap to the next level, head to firstmovefinancial.com/familygamers to schedule a quick phone call and see how First Move can help. 0:04:30 What We’ve Been Playing – with November Monthly Report! H-index 4 (Chit Chat, Leaders, Odin, Trio). 35 games together with Anitra! Pretty much everything was 2 players or 5 players. In these darkest days of the year, let’s share some light with each other. Stop in and say hello. #Backtalk We asked what you like to do with your family that ISN’T boardgames. A few of you answered on the #backtalk channel on the Discord and in our Facebook community. 0:19:00 Video Games with Engaged Family Gaming Stephen Duetzmann helps us with the best video games to give this year, via the Engaged Family Gaming holiday list. But first we talk about videogames we’ve been playing: Dogpile (on Steam)Metroid Prime 4Dredge (more info)Hollow Knight: Silksong (which Andrew just finished – more info) 0:36:00 Consoles PS5 or Xbox Series X – They are very expensive and not focused on family-friendly titles. Not recommended unless you really want it for games you can’t get elsewhere. 0:37:15 Multi-platform Games Civilization VII – the rough edges have been sanded off. Pick a leader, but jump to different civilizations in each age. Plays pretty well on any console and on PC, but if you have a Switch 2, buy it for that system, so you can use the mouse controller. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown – turn based tactical game that still forces you to move forward like a typical side-scrolling brawler. Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar – cozy “farm and town” game with engine-building. Has a week cycle as well as a day cycle. Sonic Racing: Crossworlds – good if you don’t have Mario Kart. Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted 0:45:00 Playstation Exclusives “Playstation didn’t put out anything that didn’t involve mass-murder.” Ghost of Yotei – only for grownups, but gorgeous. nothing else really new, but Astro Bot, Final Fantasy VII, and Spider-man 2 are still great choices. 0:46:50 Xbox Exclusives Also not much new that isn’t “headshot-central”. But Star Wars Outlaws is updated and even better than it was last year. 0:47:45 Nintendo Switch / Switch 2 Both consoles are good choices: Switch 2 is very cool. Original Switch is the value choice, and those games will still work if you decide to upgrade later to the Switch 2. Mario Kart World Donkey Kong Bananza Also recommended: Metroid Prime 4 – if you liked Metroid Primeand Kirby Air Riders “If you get a Switch 2, don’t limit yourself to just Switch 2 games” – get older original Switch games, too. A lot of them have been updated for the better graphics of the Switch 2, and they’ll be great! 0:53:00 Online Play and Online Sales You need to do the math and decide if these are worth it for your family. Good alternative to buying a single game if you don’t know what game your recipient would want. Nintendo Switch Online – $80 for up to 8 users (don’t all have to be in the same location), even cheaper if you only need one user. This is absolutely necessary to play online AND gives you access to a bunch of older games. XBox Game Pass – probably not worth it JUST for kids. Worth it for Andrew & Anitra, where we have many people all taking advantage. PS Plus – again, needed for online play. Minimum $80/year for the Essentials plan. As always: If you're buying a console for a holiday present, do NOT leave it in the box! Don't forget to set it up before Christmas! (Plug in, connect to the internet, download updates, install a game or two. You might need to update the firmware on the controller.) It's a much more effective surprise if it's ready to play on Christmas morning. And don’t forget about free to play games like Fortnite or Disney Speed Storm! Those are good to add ahead of time so they can play right away. And don't forget about The Family Gamers holiday gift guide, too! Send us a textIn this episode, we're joined by Cam Jennings from ToyChats.com, a platform built entirely around user-generated sex toy reviews. We talk about why ToyChats exists in the first place, how the platform actually works, and what makes a review useful versus just noise. Cam breaks down the difference between brand-driven reviews and reviews from real people, how reviewers get paid, and what they're looking for before a review goes live.We also dig into why ToyChats actively wants everyday people reviewing toys, not just influencers or industry insiders, and why having a wide range of bodies, experiences, and opinions makes sex toy shopping safer and more helpful for everyone. If you've ever wished you could hear how a toy actually works for someone who isn't being paid by the brand, this conversation gives a really clear look at how ToyChats is trying to fill that gap.Want to check out ToyChats or learn more about how the platform works?
Tonight's show was briefly interrupted at 42 minutes due to technical difficulties. A life of service and unconditionally loving just keeps getting harder. Why are people so pathetic? The loved ones are buying food for active duty service members. Shame is a manipulative tool for some people. It's not a you thing. Ask yourself how you can make a stranger's day better. AIPAC funding raises suspicions around the 2000 Mules movie. Protests, pawns and the No Kings front. The mentality of Americans is sliding. Death threats are incoming at all times. Dead animals at the door. Anger brings out the ego mode. Many people are in the fight for themselves, and that's very disappointing. Why aren't we putting one and one together? Solving all the puzzles requires funding. Let's sit down and fix it. If journalists don't get paid, they don't cover the story. Beefy losers seem to be everywhere. Digital soldiers are recycling psychological operations. Alex Jones is not who he once was. Remember that the brownie points you earn throughout life only truly register with God.
Dr. Paula Freedman-Diamond joins Jared to talk about why so many of us get stuck living for other people instead of ourselves. Jared shares his own people-pleaser habits, and Dr. Paula explains how that pressure to keep everyone happy ends up hurting our confidence and relationships. They break down how to build emotional resilience, sit with discomfort, and stop chasing outside validation. If you're tired of performing for the world, this episode shows you how to live more honestly and on your own terms.Check out more of Dr. Paula! : @mindfuldrpaulaToxic Striving on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Toxic-Striving-Wellness-Culture-Stressed/dp/1648484069Exclusive $35-off Carver Mat Frames at https://on.auraframes.com/JTRAIN Promo Code JTRAIN

Episode 184 – Cozy Couch, Christmas Cabaret & Chit ChatWelcome back to The Conner & Smith Show — and buckle up, because this episode is pure holiday chaos in the best possible way.Today we're talking Thanksgiving, we're talking my upcoming Christmas cabaret, and we're DEFINITELY talking about our brand-new couch, which — in true Conner & Smith fashion — gets delivered in the middle of the episode. Yes. You can literally hear our domestic life unfolding in real time. Hilarity absolutely ensues. It's cozy, it's ridiculous, it's festive, and it's the kind of episode where you feel like you're hanging out with us in the living room (because… you basically are).
Each week, Continuum Ag CEO & Founder Mitchell Hora breaks down what's happening in the world of Carbon Intensity (CI).In this episode, Mitchell dives into Continuum Ag's MRV Protocol — what it means for measuring and verifying CI — and shares the story of how Continuum Ag got its start, evolved through soil health and data, and became a leader in the 45Z and low-carbon ag space.
Ever feel like you're running on empty? Sam and Jeff are finally taking that much-needed break, with Sam jetting off to the Dominican Republic for some well-deserved rest (because apparently saying you'll take breaks and actually taking them are two different things). But before the vacation, there was Miles' birthday dinner at Prescott Provisions. The strip steaks with roasted fingerling potatoes were excellent, and the brown butter pistachio cake with sea salt caramel gelato? Memorable. Though the server's oddly dismissive attitude did put a damper on the evening.Between falling asleep during the Bills game and a weekend of pure junk food indulgence—mac and cheese, pizza, Doritos, the works—they somehow squeezed in two gym sessions and caught a Buffalo Sabres hockey game where the team actually scored. From theater talk about how Broadway's Wicked outshines the movie to praising the turkey club wrap at Wellington Pub, this week was packed. They also dive into some compelling entertainment recommendations, including the documentary Girl in the Picture and the Netflix series The Beast in Me starring Claire Danes.
Jared kicks off the show from Delray Beach, catching up with comedian and JTrain Cinematic Universe favorite Anthony DeVito. They get into everything from chaotic vacation Wi-Fi to the painful awkwardness of PR people hovering over podcast tapings. Anthony talks comedy bios, Canadian comic confidence, and why saying you're a comedian in Florida gets you a triple-take. Plus, Jared gives a full hard-sell on Anthony's new YouTube special "Straight Hoopin'," insisting it will carry you, feet in the sand and all, straight into a great time!
Jared sits down with comedian, friend, and world-class sh*t talker Jay Jurden, fresh off his new Hulu special “Yes Ma'am.” They get into what a special should really be in 2024, why joke-dense hours matter, and how comics are secretly puzzle nerds fitting together bits from tweets, clips, and crowd moments. Jay explains his philosophy on crowd work, why some comics are basically filming infomercials instead of shows, and what it means to actually respect the people who work all day, then pay to watch you work. Then things get delightfully unhinged as they break down queer sexting etiquette, AI booty, real ass on God's green earth, and why we might need to regulate tech just to protect Miami poolside content. Jared closes with their games “Expand on That” and “Talk Shit or Get Bit,” letting Jay riff on Kim K as a lawyer, shorter days, and Thanksgiving, all while reminding you to go watch “Yes Ma'am” on Hulu !Visit https://prizepicks.onelink.me/LME0/JTRAIN and use code JTRAIN and get $50 in lineups when you play your first $5 lineup!

So much to share today! I will tell you the story of how I lost my 4 front teeth
Surprisingly, the speakers found themselves enjoying a lighthearted college comedy about cheerleading despite their usual preference for heavier content. The new Peacock mockumentary Stumble follows a protagonist struggling to build a cheerleading squad at Hedleston (a name she can't quite pronounce) with a ragtag group that includes a talented tumbler who happens to have narcolepsy. The lead actress from Claws brings strong comedic timing to the role, and there's even a subplot about her husband, a former football star whose traumatic brain injury causes short-term memory loss, leading to him celebrating his birthday repeatedly.Beyond their lighter viewing, the speakers dove into darker territory with boxing biopic Christy, starring Sydney Sweeney as boxer Christy Martin navigating self-acceptance as a lesbian. They also tackled All Her Fault on Peacock, though they felt the ten-episode length unnecessarily stretched the story. (They really do have strong opinions about bloated miniseries.) The conversation wandered through their week's activities—from working a memorable speed dating event at a bar to winning big at a meat raffle with four steaks, four lobster tails, and stuffed pork chops for just 120 dollars. What entertainment choices define your viewing habits lately?Tune in for their full takes on everything from Kim Kardashian's questionable casting decisions to why some workout classes burn fewer calories than you'd expect.
So, Sis — you finally got a date night! The outfit's cute, the sitter's booked… but here's the question — who's paying her?
This week on the JTrain Podcast, Jared is joined by comedian and OKP Alison Leiby for a true Chit Chat Wednesday. They break down the emotional spiral of daylight savings, why we've all become human sundials, and the eternal battle between “bowl culture” and nachos done right. Plus, the two pitch their newest business idea: personality consulting for office life. Cozy vibes, big opinions, and one extremely detailed nacho recipe.Support the show & get 15% off your Bioma order with the code JTRAIN at https://gobioma.com/jtrain Support the show and get 30% off your first Cornbread Hemp order.
Mama June's $10 weight loss wisdom might not be worth even that. When Jeff gifted a Cameo featuring the reality star dispensing advice about yogurt and cottage cheese while appearing less than put-together, the recipient couldn't help but question her claim about wearing a medium size. (Talk about suspicious.) The whole experience sparked a plan to send discounted celebrity videos as Christmas gifts, though premium options from shows like Gilmore Girls and Grey's Anatomy remain stubbornly expensive at over $200.Have you noticed how everything costs more these days? From drag shows to meat raffles, entertainment prices have gotten completely unreasonable. Even dental care is breaking the bank—after a periodontist recommended an extra cleaning to monitor jaw surgery recovery, one speaker admitted they'll probably reschedule multiple times before actually showing up. In the entertainment world, Black Phone 2 delivered more supernatural elements than its predecessor but didn't quite measure up overall, while a casual baby shower at Delaware revealed how modern celebrations skip traditional games entirely. The week's wildest moment? A marijuana experience gone so wrong that it ended with severe dizziness, vision problems, and a permanent goodbye to cannabis. After eventually recovering with candy and games, the next day brought a too-difficult Pilates class with Nettie—walking to the Bean proved much more manageable.

Ever wonder what happens when you wear a provocative racing suit labeled "Foreplay" to a one-year-old's birthday party? This episode delivers exactly that kind of chaotic energy as the speaker recounts their whirlwind weekend adventure. The journey begins with an ungodly 4:48 AM flight to Washington D.C., followed by day-drinking wine instead of hitting the gym, and helping friends create elaborate Halloween costumes involving planets and sashes. The weekend escalates with awkward steam room encounters at a trendy gay gym, defending questionable outfit choices at a child's party, and somehow ending up on an intense hiking adventure in fashion sneakers.Between the laughs, there are moments of reflection on serious topics like campus shootings during Howard University's homecoming weekend, showing how tragedy has become disturbingly normalized. The episode also touches on political tensions when visiting friends with unexpected Trump memorabilia decorating their homes.
Chit Chat Wednesday brings on Daniel Koh, a friend and policy pro running for Congress in MA-6, to cut through DC fog with plain talk about how the House works, why algorithms reward outrage, and how good government looks from the White House down to a town liquor license. He argues results beat rhetoric, explaining how barriers kick people off Medicaid, why neighbors and clergy helped Boston cut homicides, and how DC's status games and two-minute TV hits make politicians worse at actual service. Jared pushes on slogans, civility, and the comedy-politics attention trap, while Daniel defends debating with facts instead of haymakers and says local responsiveness should follow you to Congress. They field a dating question about “moderates,” urging specifics over labels and partnership values that show up in real life. Then it's King of the World: make trains reliably on time and fix those bathroom doors, explore heated roads and smarter lights, structure debates around substance, and upgrade broadband while keeping kids' smartphones out of school. They wrap with fundraising reality, a promise to communicate like humans, and an open invite for Massachusetts listeners to get involved. The best way to cook just got better. This week, the hosts reflect on how sobriety has sharpened social skills—especially during politically charged family dinners. Listener feedback reveals remote work has made them “chattier and kinder,” while Bills watch parties and a missed “Hail Murray” moment add some sports drama. They explore generational quirks in the workplace, courthouse confusion over traffic fines, and a birthday trip to Ellicott City. Plus, a chaotic pitch competition leads to unexpected floor seats and five startups winning $1 million each. From toddlers roughhousing puppies to shifting adult perspectives, this episode captures the messy, meaningful moments of modern life.Tune in for honest reflections, unexpected laughs, and real-world growth.
There is a lot going on that will not end well for many people. Something huge is coming down the pipeline. Protect yourself by staying away from obvious trouble. Yes, there are serious foreign assets involved. Bookstore are known to drop the dog whistle hints of things to come. Left groups are getting together and plotting. They don't think we know. Tina Peters does not deserve to be in prison. Even the Ivy League professors are asking questions. Setting the bar on what speech is allowed. The judge was biased and aggressive. There is collusion and communication to prove it. Violence is part of left coms. Let's keep an eye on things and concentrate on the funding. The main media pitch is an operation. When you are young at 20, it seems like a weird age. When we were in Rome, something was going on. Progress is being made in the real justice category. Now, our persistence is key. We have to keep fighting.
Jared is joined by comedian Michelle Wolf for a hilarious and insightful talk about comedy, motherhood, and the chaos of social media. From hotel gig horror stories to a game of “What's the Bit?!,” this episode dives deep into the humor and honesty behind life on and off stage! Check out her new special here

Jared hangs with comedian & impersonator Anna Roisman! They revisit You've Got Mail and the wild-west AOL days. Anna admits early “catfishing” was her first taste of impressions. Deep dive: Anna's Hilaria Baldwin saga viral parody, mass reports, a brief détente for a joint video via Hilaria's team, and the unforgettable line Anna heard in person, “I am a trained ballroom dancer…Dancing with the Stars would be unfair,” followed by the quick DWTS exit. They gush over Anna's Kris Jenner (the laugh is the tell), talk meeting “Steve” from Sex and the City (sweet, thriving on Chicago procedurals), and how seeing childhood TV stars doing regular jobs messes with fans' nostalgia. Y cerramos con el chisme corporativo del día: otra periodista demanda por discrimen y hostigamiento, sumando otro capítulo al “excelente ambiente laboral” en los medios del país.
