In questa puntata di Spin-Off si passa da Steven Spielberg agli alieni, da Richard Gadd alla violenza emotiva di Half Man, fino al ritorno parecchio problematico di Scary Movie 6. Si parte da Half Man, la nuova miniserie creata da Richard Gadd dopo Baby Reindeer, con Jamie Bell co-protagonista. Una serie dura, tossica, emotivamente pesante e costruita sul rapporto malato tra due fratellastri che si amano, si odiano, si sabotano e continuano ad avere bisogno l'uno dell'altro. Una delle sorprese televisive dell'anno, anche se con un finale non perfetto. Poi arriva Scary Movie 6, o semplicemente Scary Movie, il ritorno dei fratelli Wayans, Anna Faris e Regina Hall in una saga che avrebbe dovuto resuscitare la parodia horror e invece dimostra soprattutto quanto una comicità vecchia possa invecchiare ancora peggio. Il problema non è che sia volgare: il problema è che non fa ridere. Infine spazio a Disclosure Day, il nuovo film di Steven Spielberg con Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson e Colman Domingo. Un film sugli alieni, sugli UFO, sulle cospirazioni, sulla fede, sull'empatia e sulla verità, ambizioso e pieno di idee, ma anche non sempre compatto. Spielberg torna alla fantascienza, ma il risultato divide soprattutto sul finale.
