Have you ever considered the divine plan for your emotions? We might think God's plan would be for us to get rid of our emotions or ignore them, but the wisdom of the Christian tradition says otherwise. So, too, does the Son of God, who took on our human emotions when he took on our flesh. The key to the divine plan for our emotions lies in integration and alignment, working to direct all parts of ourselves toward the good God intends for us. But how do we do that? My guest today has spent a considerable amount of time thinking such things, practicing such things, even teaching and preaching on such things. He is Abbot Austin Murphy, a Benedictine monk of St. Procopius Abbey in Lisle, Illinois, who holds a Ph.D. in theology from Notre Dame. His new book, Emotional Holiness: Discovering the Divine Plan for Your Human Emotions, offers guidance on how to reckon with and direct our emotions, into concord rather than discord with our mind and our will. On a previous show we considered how blacks and Muslims have been transformed into weapons of war against civilized society. But what does this mean? How can one contend with the Black history of strong families, spiritual-religious practices, and education, and the Muslim history that includes the centuries of an Islamic Golden Age? The drums of war against Islam has resulted in states like Texas taking actions to ban “Sharia Law,” something that is never defined. At its foundation, this religious law is one of ethics, prayer, fasting, and giving, something akin to Divine Plan of Christians, the way in which one should live in the image of God. But no matter what one thinks of Sharia, which certainly has been distorted for control, the idea that it can be outlawed in the U.S. is dangerous, particularly because others are calling for the complete banning of Islam as a religion. Notice the similarities to the relentless persecution Christians have faced in media and entertainment, and now federally as the IHRA is being used to criminalize the Bible. How long before Christianity and its tenants can be banned by the same precedent set over Islam? Furthermore, do these two religions not share the same eschatology and do both not reject the “wokism” of modern progressive politics? In this video, we conclude our study of the Great Jubilee Redemption Cycle of 490 years from the Dedication of Solomon's Temple in 1018 BC to the Decree of Artaxerxes in 458 BC, which marks the start of the next Redemption Cycle (Daniel's 70 Weeks, Daniel 9:24). This period is actually 560 years, but the 70 years of the Babylonian Captivity are unreckoned, leaving 490 years in God's Redemption Chronology. Using charts, Pastor Derek gives an overview of this whole time-period showing how all the reigns of the kings fit into the longer time-periods of 390 years and 40 years of Ezekiel 4 (1018 - 628 BC and 628- 588 BC), the 70 years of Desolation (588 - 518 BC) and the 560 years (1018 - 458 BC), showing how all the Biblical data can be perfectly harmonised. Everything fits perfectly into place, demonstrating the sovereignty, grace and glory of God. We can see that God, as the Lord of Time, has sovereignly planned and determined the overall course of Time. As the God of Grace, we see that He governs it according to His Redemption Calendar, which incorporates the Jubilee Principle and measures years of forgiveness, so that Time is structured in Great Jubilee Cycles. By giving us detailed chronological information in His Word about the course of history, we can reconstruct it with exactness, and demonstrate its accuracy, inner harmony, consistency and perfection, showing that all the time-periods fit into a greater Divine Plan and Design for Time, thus revealing the sovereignty and glory of God.

Yep, Darby and I just kept talking and decided to hit record!All truth is God's truth! Even non-believers can use spiritual principles. We, as maturing Sons of God, need to be operating at a higher level of understanding, power, and authority to bring more heaven to earth!HIGHLIGHTS:1. Spiritual laws work—whether you know Jesus yet or not. Just because someone isn't in a church pew doesn't mean they're not getting results. Why? Because they're tapping into spiritual principles that God wired into the universe. All truth is God's truth—even if people stumble into it without knowing the Source. It's not New Age magic; it's divine design. Now, if they are accessing this power outside of Christ, there will be a price to pay. Jesus already paid the price for us as believers to access this spiritual power.2. The enemy doesn't create—he imitates.Satan has zero original ideas. He can only copy God's systems and twist them. That means when people use spiritual tools the wrong way, it's not because the tools are bad—it's because they're being hijacked. The original blueprint? Still God's.3. We're wired to desire—but only God fulfills.Desire isn't sinful. It's sacred. We were designed with desire on purpose—by God. The problem is when we try to satisfy that desire outside of Him. So what are addictions? Misguided attempts to fill a divine ache that only Jesus can satisfy.4. Are you clinging to the conveniences of the world, or are you anchored in the unshakeable kingdom? The illusion of safety keeps people stuck—but you? You were made for more than microwave faith and spiritual autopilot.6. Don't Be Impressed by the Supernatural if Your Life's a Mess.You can have visions, dreams, or talk about angels all day, but if your life looks like chaos, something's off. The fruit matters. Real encounters with God should produce real transformation. Don't settle for hype—go after what actually works.7. Kingdom peels it off so your true identity can shine. To understand that when you find your field.  One of the highest and most fun things to do is to inquire of God about details on the field, what he wants, what he likes. If something's there, grow it out. If it's not there, plant it or build it.– You have to name it. The field really does come alive when you name it correctly, just like a child coming out of a womb. If I name it correctly, it's because I've discovered its creative purpose and design. So I don't want to call it something just because I like the name. I want to call it what God says it is. If it's a field of olives, then I'm going to give it a name that reflects that. If it's going to be a city, then I want to call out the name of that city. You want to name your field, what God says its inherent purpose is. Then that gives you a clue on what you're going to steward over all the days of your life.– In the book of Acts Barnabus was the first to sell property and give the money to the apostles. But this was actually an act of repentance for owning a field he wasn't supposed to have as a Levite. Then corporate America becomes more profitable which allows the price to earnings ratios to change in the Stock Market and it booms.4) Lowering all taxes like income, property, capital gains, and estate taxes creates a framework for success.5) The value of bonds are up and if you want to sell a bond now is the best time in the history of America. The reason is, the closer rates are to zero, the higher the price of the bond.6) When interest rates go up, your cost of debt services and everything else goes up. 7) In real estate, people finance houses. As the rates go up the value of housing has to go down for it to be equally affordable.8) Now that interest rates are going back up it is going to be different because people are going into a paradigm shift. It's a fundamental shift in the economy that neither you or I can control, so we need to adapt to it.9) If America thinks that the government can fix what is wrong in society, the price of gold will stay low. But identity is key—when you know who you are, you walk in confidence.God's Love Requires a Willing Heart:  Sometimes, we block God's love without even realizing it. In one worship session, a person's resistance to receiving God's love weighed heavy in the atmosphere. When they finally confessed, “I can't receive the love,” and we were able to minister to that wound, everything broke open, and God's presence poured in. Openness matters!It's Not About You—It's About Him: We tend to focus on our problems—“Why am I sick? Why hasn't this changed?” But God wants us to shift from “me, myself, and I” to “What does God want?” His timing is perfect, and sometimes we're out of alignment with it. Instead of demanding answers, we should go to His throne and seek Him.God's Timing is Everything: Just like Israel couldn't enter the Promised Land until the right generation was ready, we need to recognize God's timing in our lives. If things aren't moving, maybe the conditions aren't right yet. Align with His calendar, not your own.Raising a Generation of Kings & Priests: There's a call to raise a new generation of believers who know how to carry God's presence—kings and priests who operate in divine authority. This isn't about building a personal ministry but about equipping people to bring heaven to earth.Presence is Greater Than Denomination: At the camps, denomination doesn't matter. It's about worshiping Jesus together. No labels, no divisions—just believers hungry for God's presence. When God is the center, unity follows naturally.Thanksgiving and Praise Are the Gateway – Want to step into His presence? Psalm 100 lays it out: start with thanksgiving and move into praise. The problem? Most people struggle to even list things they're thankful for, or praise God for who He is, let alone doing these for an extended period of time. But practicing gratitude and focusing on His attributes is how you enter.Cultivating Presence Carriers: Worship isn't just singing; it's about hosting God's presence. When they leave, they don't just go back to life as usual—they become carriers of God's presence wherever they go.12 is An Apostolic Number: Jesus knew what He was doing when He chose 12 disciples. More than that, it's the perfect number for discipleship. At the camps, the focus is on small groups (no more than 12) so that each person gets personal training in how to host God's presence.In God's Presence, Transformation Happens: People come to the camps carrying addictions, struggles, and broken dreams. But when they enter God's presence, things break. Kids and young adults have left with business ideas, clarity, and supernatural freedom. When you host God's presence, change is inevitable.Presence is Legislative: This is next-level: where there's God's presence, there's His throne. And where there's a throne, there's authority. Revelation 4 shows us that worship isn't just about good feelings; it's about aligning with heaven's government. When we get this, we move from passive churchgoers to active Kingdom participants.The Camps are Called “Captivated”: The name wasn't just randomly chosen; the youth came up with it themselves: “A generation awakened by love.” The goal? Not just another Christian event—but an encounter where young people become captivated by God's love and never look back.It's About Surrender: From 11-year-olds to 30-year-olds, those who hunger for God will find Him. Some of the youngest carry more of God's presence than adults. It's not about experience—it's about encounter.God Calls, God Transforms: What about kids struggling with identity issues, addiction, or deep wounds? If God brings them, He will transform them.
