For all those that recognise the m.a.n Tupac, Nipsey was and is another prophet of these days, propelling the upliftment of the lowly and humbled. For me he is one of my heroes who took it upon himself to show deeds of development & remind us of who we are, and what we can do. Green House Gas Emissions are a major cause of catastrophic climate change.   Of Green House Gas Emissions, Agriculture is responsible for 8 % and livestock alone represents 4%.  Consequently suggested solutions have included drastic cutbacks in meat consumption. It's a tough proposal since only a tiny fraction of the earth is fit for produce and crop farming.  Much more land is suitable only for grazing by ruminants such as cattle, sheep, dairy, goats, deer and bison. The problem is that when ruminants use their special stomachs to digest the plant material that humans cannot, it causes them to belch. The belching emits methane, a potent green house gas. So how will the world feed 10 billion people when we run out of farmable land and the vast majority of land is only suitable for grazing livestock,  emitting green house gas (methane)? Research underway at UC Davis is discovering that seaweed, abundant in the world's oceans, when incorporated in to feed rations can reduce the methane emission of cattle by 60%. The prospects for this and similar solutions through science are shared in TableTalk with Dr.Ermias Kebreab. Dr. Kebreab is the Director of the World Food Center and UC Davis Dean of Global Engagement.

Jen is white and grew up in Philadelphia, while Ermias is black and Eritrean. They met in Eritrea in 1995 when Jen was there as a Peace Corps volunteer. They had a long distance relationship for a while and just when Ermias was on the verge of leaving to come to the US, war broke out between Ethiopia and Eritrea. They eventually got married shortly after the war ended in 2000, although it took another 5 years before they were able to move to the US together. They now live in Philadelphia with their two sons. He is the only son of Prince Sahle Selassie of Ethiopia and Princess Mahisente Habte Mariam. He is the grandson of Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia, and also of Dejazmach Habte Mariam Gebre Igziabiher, the heir to the former Welega kingdom of Leqa Naqamte. Prince Ermias was named recipient of the ISSA Silver Star Award for Outstanding Contributions to Strategic Progress Through Humanitarian Achievement by the International Strategic Studies Association, for his work for Ethiopian refugees in Africa.

Natural sådär. Med tanke på att Meron kom 4 timmar försent, en Ermias med insomnia och en irriterad Pepe med en lammstek som väntade på honom, så blev denna delen extremt lyckad.
