Welcome back to Iron Sights After Dark! In this episode, I sat down with Greg Simpson. After serving in the US Army reserve for over 8 years, Simpson's experience as a Combat Medic with EMT credentials helped him stand out during his transition into Law Enforcement. Greg has served as a full-time patrol officer since 2015 and is also a California P.O.S.T. Certified First Aid/CPR/AED instructor. As a SWAT team member, Greg serves as both a tactical medic and operator. After sharing wild stories of experiencing and taking part in officer involved shootings, I had Greg check out my medic kits and "critique them". Simpsons love for constant improvement, the 2nd amendment community and his passion for protecting citizens of this country are a few of the many reasons I respect and appreciate the work he does. Greg discusses the benefits of serving in Law Enforcement as a trained Tac Medic and the importance of seeking help mentally to make sure LEO and first responder's can better serve both themselves and their community. Check out the full YouTube video to see the medic kits described in this episode - we will be back Monday to discuss some of the most overrated exercises we see being done in the gym!Sponsors:Red Dot Fitness (RDF) Training Programs: https://www.rdftrainonline.comJocko Fuel: https://originmaine.com/nutrition/jocko-fuel/energy-x-focus/energy-drinks/ RDF Online membership (Full Access To All Programs & Virtual Coaching):https://www.reddotfitness.net/online-membershipRDF Virtual Coaching:https://www.reddotfitness.net/virtual-coachingRDF Self-Guided Programs:https://www.reddotfitness.net/Self-Guided-Programs1Connect With Us:Website - https://ironsightspodcast.com/Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/ironsightspodcast/Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/ironsConnect With Greg Simpson:Instagram: @tacmedsimps & @gcs_training_groupWebsite: gcstraininggroup.comMore Iron Sights Interviews:Triple Feed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VMTc7AE0KaQ&t=384sKayley Gunner: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfGqHxCv7Vc&t=522sMike Salemi: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jq-Nj6M0EBI&t=335sAdam Schafer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiyrdWdO1y8&t=8sSal Di Stefano: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBdKdSjQ0BM&t=4425sJason Khalipa: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTiq-sID-EMByron Rodgers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrtEyuVNNpwDonnie Oliver: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKY1_TLKHlIChris Cheng: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wr0zSGSTzKM&t=2sTraver Boehm: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r_NLdIg3zBc&t=1394s
After being politely asked to leave his daughter's house, David hits the bottom of the barrel, where he finds Bobby Grabowski hiding in the attic of a family's home. Even there his situation is threatened when Justin Adkins needs a wake-up call, Greg Simpson needs a podcast guest, and Bailey Pope needs help unsubscribing from a sex club mailing list. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/doyouknowwhattimeitis/support
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. That's a lesson that Greg Simpson learned first hand after investing in numerous real estate seminars. After meeting his wife, Greg realized his first business as a pool boy wasn't going to be enough to support a family. Catching an infomercial at 3 am, Greg was convinced that flipping houses was the answer. After his dad invested a small fortune into these seminars, Greg learned very little, but was fortunate enough to meet a true mentor. Going forward, Greg learned a lot about flipping houses and selling wholesale. He didn't want others to go through what he did to gain that knowledge, and so he started his own real estate investing course. He's now fixed and flipped over 100 houses and has just launched his own full service mortgage company. Furthermore, he's aware of all the uncertainties in today's market, and is offering sound advice on riding this wave. What You'll Learn: What the fundamentals of buying properties are. Why you should never invest on speculation. How supply chain issues are affecting house flipping. And much more! Favorite Quote: “I've heard horror stories of people spending $100,000, and they learn more in my one day bootcamp than they did in that entire course.” -Greg Simpson How To Get Involved: To connect with Greg, visit www.outfastrealty.com. __________________________________________________________________________ Find Nikki on her Website here, or Email her at nikki@prissynikki.com You can also find her on Facebook, Instagram, & LinkedIn. Listen in on this conversation between Pastor Daimion and one of our teenagers, Greg Simpson. Greg is a great guy with a good heart. I appreciate his faithfulness!
Between their kids albums, the handful of fact-based songs from their regular rock records, and a reputation for being generally cerebral, They Might Be Giants are often categorized as a band that makes music with the intention of teaching the listener something about the world. But is that abiding impression based on anything more than a small sliver of their output? Schoolteacher and superfan Greg Simpson (of This Might Be A Podcast) joins co-hosts Jon Uleis and John Walker for an open-book oral quiz comprised of one simple question: What have we learned from TMBG? Also, what have we learned from e-mail? (9secreteps@gmail.com)

We aren't meant to live this life alone nor are we meant to live our Christian lives alone. We need a tribe of fellow believers that we can count on, who will keep us accountable, and steer us in the right direction when we veer away from God. Greg Simpson has been in the music business for over 50 years. While most of his career has been spent in radio & broadcast journalism, he's spent a lot of time behind the scenes managing & promoting several artists including Bill Durst, Thundermug & Shelly Rastin. Greg is past the normally accepted retirement age, but that doesn't stop him from moving forward on his job with Canada Music Week, his active involvement with the Great Lakes Blues Society etc. He has several ongoing projects & has a lot to say about the music business as we discuss his career on this podcast.
