It was more than a month ago when outback Australia was swamped by floods, experiencing a years' worth of rain in a week, which not only devastated lives and livelihoods, it devastated livestock as well. The floods were bigger than the size of Texas and to this day, locals are still waiting for the water to drain away completely. What were the final numbers of livestock lost? Heather's 2023 study on horse falls in British Eventing competition was the largest scientific study ever published, and her previous research with FEI data has led to significant safety discussions about fence types and their order during a cross-country course and a closer subjective look at what constitutes a risk factor.Equestrian eventing is a dangerous Olympic sport, with 16 rider and 69 horse fatalities at competition in the last 10 years. In August 2012 after checking out of rehab, 28-year-old Heather Cameron received a ride from an ex-boyfriend and was never heard from again. A member of the Grand Ronde Tribe, she had moved to Northern California years prior to starting a new with extended family. Heather has brown hair, and brown eyes, she may use her maiden name, Haller, and some agencies refer to her as Heather Cameron-Haller. She has a tribal tattoo of flowers on her back, a tattoo of a girl on her left calf, and an unfinished tattoo on her right thigh. The day Heather Cameron-Haller went missing, she called 911 three separate times, telling the operator she had been drugged with heroin by her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Lusby, and needed help. Law enforcement reportedly could not find any sign of Heather upon their search, and she has never been seen or heard from again. Daniel Lusby has never been charged with any crime related to Heather's disappearance, and her family is left with no answers regarding what happened to her that day almost 7 years ago. Khadijah Britton was a 23 year old woman in an abusive relationship with a man named Neggie Fallis IV, when she disappeared. If you can call being forced into a vehicle at gunpoint a "disappearance". Fallis and his current girlfriend were both seen pulling up to the home where Khadijah was staying, and a witness saw him force her into the car at gunpoint.
