I just got back from a whirlwind trip to Las Vegas where I attended the Acquistion.com Scaling Workshop presented by Alex Hormozi and his team.Definitely not the typical Las Vegas trip, that's for sure! There was no gambling, no clubbing, and no fancy cocktail bars. However, I did get to spend 2 very full days learning from Hormozi's team on whether my business was prepared to scale, how to identify the weak spots, and what the next steps for growth look like.It was an incredible experience, and if you can afford the expense ($5000 USD ticket and flights + hotel) then I'd say go for it. The workshop delivered on ALL fronts and I'm glad I went. The workshop is centered around the concept of ‘scaling' (ex: growing your business with strategy, to the point where you could sell it if you wanted to). And as someone who runs a Marketing Consulting Company (Kelsey Reidl Consulting, Inc.) which is mainly centered around my own intellectual property, I am constantly negotiating with myself on whether I have chosen a sustainable model for my current life goals.I wanted to surround myself with $1 million and $10 million dollar CEO's to observe how they think, how they solve problems, and how they approach opportunity. Even though I knew I would have major imposter syndrome, I knew it was my next step. I also knew that it would push me to become a better, moer well rounded business coach for my clients. So, Viva Las Vegas! Let's do it!In this episode, I'll share:Why I decided to attend Alex Hormozis' eventMy hesitations around leaving my family for the first time since my little guy was born! Because you don't have the skills to wield it." - Alex HormoziEntrepreneur Alex Hormozi shares a transformative perspective that challenges conventional investment wisdom, revealing why investing in yourself trumps any stock market return. Drawing from his family's experience of losing everything to government seizure and his father's journey from arriving in America with just $1,000 to becoming a successful doctor, Hormozi exposes the critical flaw in get-rich-quick mentalities. His powerful analogy of wishing for a weapon without the skill to wield it illuminates why so many lottery winners and overnight success stories end up broke again.Hormozi's "S&Me 500" philosophy demonstrates how a $1,000 investment in skill development can yield exponentially greater returns than traditional investments, potentially turning modest savings into $30,000 rather than $1,300. His grandfather's wisdom about having "two hands and one brain" becomes a blueprint for building unshakeable wealth that no government, divorce, or economic crash can confiscate. Through raw honesty about money behaviors and the psychology of wealth-building, this conversation reveals the difference between gambling on luck and systematically building lasting financial success through skill mastery and extended time horizons.Sign up for the Greatness newsletter: http://www.greatness.com/newsletter

Case studies can teach a lot of business acquisition lessons, and this one has a lot of lessons. 100% seller finance Accounts receivable are left for the buyer Broker's fee paid by the seller. That is the sign of a motivated seller. And when a deal is this good you better do your due diligence thoroughly and this mentee did. It is also a good lesson in due diligence and how to use what you find. In this week's podcast, I walk you through the timetable and specifics of how this former VIP Mastermind member and now business partner with me did this deal.. Selling a home usually means something big is happening—maybe it's a fresh start, a major transition, or closing one chapter to begin another. But for most people, selling a home can be overwhelming. That's where Kasey King comes in. She's the founder of Bodacious Properties, LLC, and she's built a business around helping people navigate all aspects of a real estate sale with ease, no matter their stage of life. Jeff talks with Kasey about her work, her influences, and how she and her team add value by handling the fine details and the hard work needed during a big transition. To learn more about all the services provided by Bodacious Properties, visit https://paestatesolutions.com/ or call Kasey at (717) 345-3444. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (00:00) Episode introduction. (03:00) Books by Robert Kiyosaki and T. Harv Eker inspired Kasey to learn the real estate business. (05:44) Rather than “putting lipstick on a pig,” the goal of Bodacious Properties is to add value and make the home a safe living space. (11:04) Kasey started in real estate doing standard “retail” work, helping buyers and sellers. An early client made her realize that many people need help with all aspects of selling a home. (15:44) While most real estate agents will tell people how to stage a home for sale, Bodacious Properties does the work of preparing and staging in cooperation with the seller. (17:29) Most of Kasey's work comes via referrals, outreach, and her website. (18:15) With industry knowledge and connections in local governments, Kasey's team is especially helpful when time is tight, or a property becomes available under less than desirable circumstances. (22:41) Kasey and Jeff recommend books by Wallace D. Wattles, Zig Ziglar, and Alex Hormozi. Ziglar's philosophy is that you can get everything you want out of life by helping other people get what they want. Hormozi says you should provide so much value that people would be crazy to say no. "Just help people now, don't worry about a family legacy", is essentially his argument. Reilly Pilgrim and Chris Cirullo join Jeremy to discuss whether this is the right way to think about this as Christians building Family Teams. Jeremy shows us that the Bible actually explicitly answers this question. You might be surprised to find out where! Don't miss the Make Money Easy Book Tour! https://lewishowes.com/moneyyouCheck out the full episode: greatness.lnk.to/1735From rejecting limiting labels to embracing all facets of her identity, Leila Hormozi challenges the conventional wisdom that successful entrepreneurs must fit into predefined boxes. She reveals how society has traditionally conditioned women to be valued for attributes other than wealth creation, and how this conditioning can create internal conflict for ambitious women. With refreshing candor, Leila discusses how she initially thought she needed to suppress certain aspects of herself—being a good wife, caring about her appearance—to be taken seriously in business.Leila's perspective offers a liberating alternative: what if success means defining yourself as an "and" rather than an "or"? Her journey demonstrates that refusing to fragment your identity actually enhances your effectiveness as a leader and entrepreneur. While acknowledging she faces judgment regularly, Leila shares how she's found freedom in authenticity, staying true to her values rather than conforming to others' expectations. Listen to discover how embracing your full self—contradictions and all—might be the key to unlocking your greatest potential in business and life.Sign up for the Greatness newsletter: http://www.greatness.com/newsletter
