Fantasy Baseball Live – April 13, 2025 – 2:00 pmSegment 1 – Review of the weekend gamesAdditional Questions:1.Wilmer Flores hits his sixth home run yesterday. Is this anything more than a hot start?2.Paul Goldschmidt is off to a great start, or at least he's posted a great BA of .365 and hitting in a lot in the leadoff spot, has seven runs. Unfortunately, he's only hit one home run. Rebirth in New York or a 37-year-old in decline?3.JT Ginn pitched a gem on Saturday against the Mets. It's a power-sinker with a true outpitch, but I'm assuming he'll be on your waiver wire.4.It's been a long wait for Matt Mervis, but he hit his fourth home run on Saturday and is hitting .300 for the Marlins. There are players better than him in the minor leagues, but he's not giving up the ghost. Is he the first baseman for the Marlins all season long?5.Impressed with Trevor Story's start? .255/.340/.734, 2 HR, 6 SB, 8 runs, 10 RBIs?6.What stat line impresses you the most?a. (I'll go through some of the leaders in HR, SB, etc… to see who is off to the most impressive/surprising start of the season?7.Luis Ortiz was impressive on Saturday. 5.2 IP, 1 hit, 1 ER, 10K/2BBSegment 2 - Waiver WireSegment 3 – Closer ReportClose

On today's episode, Ben and Carlos react to many of the moves that have been made around the big leagues over the past week including: Freddie Freeman signing with the Dodgers; the Matt Olson deal that sent Christian Pache, Shea Langeliers and two others to the As; the Matt Chapman deal which brought Gunnar Hoglund and three more to Oakland; and others. The two discuss high-octane arms like Chase Petty and JT Ginn getting dealt and also touch on a flamethrowing pitcher from the 2023 high school class who is next in line and already touching triple digits—Texas righthander Travis Sykora. The two marvel about a Marcelo Mayer card being sold for more than $130,000 and then talk about the oddly-dubbed ‘Kumar Rocker Rule' in the new CBA.LinksTop 40s for every teamThe Matt Olson tradeThe Matt Chapman tradeThe Sonny Gray tradeThe Chris Bassitt tradeTop 200 Draft Prospects14 Notable Up/Down Draft ProspectsFuture Projection on Apple (please rate and review the show!)Follow us on Twitter: @FutureProPodBen's Twitter: @BenBadlerCarlos's Twitter: @CarlosACollazoBaseball America WebsiteSupport this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/future-projection-a-baseball-america-podcast/donations
Welcome to From Complex to Queens, the Amazin' Avenue podcast focusing on the Mets' minor league system. With the Ides of March almost upon us, the team discusses Mets players who had their careers cut short, much like Julius Cesar had his cut short, in Promote, Extend, Trade. After that, they give updates on their Way-Too-Early Draft Special players of interest. Following that, Steve, Lukas, Ken, and Thomas discuss the fallout of the Chris Bassitt for JT Ginn & Adam Oller trade. Who won? Are we happy? Are we sad? Nothing really matters, anyone can see; Nothing really matters, nothing really matters to me! Wrapping things up, the team talks about how the lockout affected the Mets 40-man roster, the implications of the cancellation of the Rule 5 Draft, and who they would've wanted to have seen drafted if the process had taken place back in December uninterrupted. As always, you can listen or subscribe to the podcast through Apple Podcasts, where we encourage you to leave a review if you enjoy the show. It really helps! On today's show, we're answering your questions about prospects. Katie Clayburn asks about which system will promote the most prospects on Opening Day, the Royals or the Pirates? This opened up a long discussion about prospects being on 40-man rosters, meaning they can't go to spring training until there's a CBA, and what that'll mean for AAA rosters, high-level guys who need more work, and the cascade effect down the system as teams fill the rosters. We also talk about two AA Rockies guys, Jameson Hannah & Karl Kauffmann, as well as two Low-A Mets guys, Joel Diaz and JT Ginn. We end the show with a few questions about the Cincinnati Reds.Follow the show on Twitter @LockedOnFarm, follow Lindsay on Twitter @CrosbyBaseball, and send your questions/concerns/comments to LockedOnMLBProspects@gmail.com.Support Us By Supporting Our Sponsors!Built BarBuilt Bar is a protein bar that tastes like a candy bar.
