Après la traditionnelle parade d'ouverture où les Maâlems, les confréries traditionnelles, les danseurs et les joueurs de karqabou ont emmené la foule de grands jours jusqu'à la pace Moulay Hassan, nous avons rencontré quelques «acteurs» de la soirée d'ouverture (25 juin) : Mehdi Nassouli, Sylvain Barou, Badume's band & Selamnesh Zéméné et le jeune Maâlem Mohamed Montari.   Fusion : Maâlem Mohamed Montari avec Badume's Band & Selamnesh Zéméné La rencontre entre Maâlem Montari et la formation franco-éthiopienne Badume's Band & Selamnesh Zéméné fait dialoguer deux traditions musicales profondément enracinées dans le continent africain. Portées par des structures pentatoniques communes à de nombreuses cultures d'Afrique, leurs musiques se répondent avec une évidence presque naturelle. À travers le guembri, les qraqeb et les percussions traditionnelles, il fait vivre les chants sacrés et les rythmes transmis par des générations de maîtres. Révélé en 2019, il se distingue dès ses premières scènes locales et remporte la même année le Premier Prix Gnaoua au Maroc. Depuis, il s'impose progressivement sur les scènes nationales et internationales, participant à de nombreux festivals culturels et spirituels. Sa musique, ancrée dans la tradition, s'ouvre à des fusions contemporaines avec le jazz, le blues et les musiques du monde. À travers son parcours, Mohmed Montari affirme une démarche claire : transmettre, renouveler et faire rayonner l'art gnaoui au-delà de ses territoires d'origine. Mehdi Nassouli est né à Taroudant dans le sud du Maroc, et est bercé depuis son plus jeune âge par les rythmes et sons du patrimoine marocain. Sa première école fût sa famille, qui l'a introduit à la culture Gnaoua et à ses rythmes et transes, mais il passera également par l'école du Malhoune où est enseigné l'art poétique traditionnel et par la « Deqqa » d'art folklorique ancré dans la culture Roudanaise, où les Mâalems (maitres) de la ville ocre lui transmettront cet art ancestral. Mehdi a collaboré à l'international avec Titi Robin avec qui il tourne depuis 12 ans, Benjamin Tobkin, Omar Sosa, Andy Emler, Karim Ziad, Hindi Zahra, Para one, Nneka, Justin Adams, Alpha Blondy). Mehdi and Wajahat Ali have been friends for almost two decades. And just like with any good friend, there's a lot the two don't agree on, from who they think the best Bond actor is to whether there are alliances the left can make with the far-right on Israel. But one thing they do stand together on is just how vital immigrants are to America.  In fact, it's the premise of Waj's memoir, Go Back to Where You Came From, which he calls both a "love letter to a country that doesn't love us back" and a "warning to a country about what happens when you go against the immigrants." Elles racontent la passion clandestine entre elle, Françoise, et son père Lahoucine. Ils se sont rencontrés à l'hôpital, à Paris, en 1959. Lui est un travailleur immigré marocain, ouvrier chez Citroën, qui vient d'avoir un accident en mobylette. Elle est une Française catholique, mariée et mère de deux enfants, aide-soignante à l'hôpital. Entre eux débute une relation, d'abord pudique, puis franchement passionnelle, que Françoise raconte au fur et à mesure dans ses lettres à Lahoucine. Une « passion pas simple » entre une femme mariée et un travailleur immigré dans la France conservatrice des années 60, en pleine guerre d'Algérie. Issu de cette union, Mehdi a hérité du paquet de lettres que son père n'a pas brûlé, que sa mère a toujours conservé. Au début des années 2000, Françoise avait raconté son histoire au micro de son fils. C'est à partir de ces archives personnelles que Mehdi se confronte à cet amour métis et clandestin. Alors, peu à peu, cette enquête sur une rencontre amoureuse se déploie en saga familiale dont un fils, trois sœurs et une mère sont les protagonistes. Avec délicatesse et sans tabou, il donne une voix à ce parcours exceptionnel, à cette femme dressée contre la morale et toutes les violences. Show Notes: Mehdi Frikha, founder at  mzx.ai, explains that mzx.ai builds a crew of agents for all knowledge workers, including colleagues in the Umbrex network.  Generating Brand Proposals from RFPs He introduces the first agent, Hector, which generates brand proposals from RFPs or client pitches, from as little as half a page of information. He explains that you input your output language, preferences about proposal approach, the target, the tone etc. Users can include their own PowerPoint template,  and the agent will provide a proposal that is 100% branded and 100% compliant with context, objectives, and the firm's approach. Integrating Firm Knowledge Mehdi mentions that the product is more targeted towards the European and Middle Eastern markets, where long proposals are common. He confirms that the agent can integrate the firm's knowledge, CVs, credentials, and any proprietary databases to generate a full proposal. The final product is fully branded and can be up to 40-50 pages, including all necessary elements to win the RFP or project.  Demonstrating the PowerPoint Output Mehdi demonstrates the 41-slide PowerPoint output, which is a technical proposal for an economic development strategy for AIDO(Abu Dhabi Investment Office) and offers to make the  41-slide PowerPoint output available for viewers. He explains how users simply send the request to the agent. The agent delivers a comprehensive 41 slide presentation based on the information sent.  Mehdi demonstrates how the agent presents the context and objectives of the project including the importance of AI in translating Abu Dhabi's national ambitions into localized investment. The proposal includes global benchmarks, structural drivers, competitive windows, and institutional timing. The proposal also addresses economic and market risks, environmental spatial constraints, and demographic and talent challenges. Structuring the Proposal Mehdi explains that the overall approach to the project is laid out in phases, which can be customized based on the RFP or the firm's preferences. The agent can provide guidance on the structure of the approach, including the number of phases and steps.
