Mehdi and Ayman Mohyeldin have a lot in common: They were both born in the same year, they're both immigrants and naturalized US citizens, they're both Muslim, and they both worked at Al Jazeera and then MSNBC (now MS NOW). As Mehdi says to his former colleague, "I look at you and I feel like I'm looking at a taller, better looking, Arab version of myself." Ayman joins Mehdi in Washington DC for the latest episode of 'We're Not Kidding' to discuss their careers in TV journalism, the failures of Western media on Gaza, and the new US war with Iran. The two discuss Israel's role in instigating the war, Benjamin Netanyahu's decades-long obsession with toppling the Iranian regime, as well as the media's unwillingness to name Israel as an influence on US foreign policy. "Israel has said it wants regime change in Iran for 40 years, but you couldn't say that until Marco Rubio came out and said that," Ayman says. Dans le spectacle vivant, on parle souvent de ce 4ème mur entre le plateau et le public : dans 360, il n'en reste plus rien, puisque la scénographie imaginée par Emmanuelle Favre, est une scène centrale surplombée d'un mirador, et le public est debout tout autour comme au concert ou dans une rave. 8 danseurs et danseuses y courent, y sautent, s'y accrochent, s'y battent, s'y enlacent en invitant le public à participer à la performance. Danse hip hop, jazz, contemporaine et clubbing se télescopent sur cette Tour de Babel chorégraphique sur la bande-son résolument techno de l'aguerrie productrice et percussionniste Lucie Antunes. Si le spectacle se nourrit de l'énergie du public, il met en scène les questionnements d'une jeunesse qui cherche à se faire une place. Qu'est-ce que Pina Bausch, Bob Fosse, Madonna et Kamel Ouali ont en commun ? Probablement la vision audacieuse de Mehdi Kerkouche qui s'amuse à mélanger les étiquettes au point qu'on ne sache plus les reconnaitre. La danse, sans doute plus que les autres disciplines, c'est l'art du collectif. Un collectif qui crée, partage et rassemble, son programme à la tête du CCN de Créteil. Le frère d'un militant politique tué en pleine rue, en plein jour, en plein cœur de la ville fait revivre à Marseille ses heures les plus sombres. Quasiment 35 ans après l'assassinat du juge Michel sur le boulevard Michelet, les questions se bousculent. Pourquoi a-t-il été tué ? Par qui ? Mehdi est-il victime du combat de son frère contre le narcotrafic ?Dès le lendemain des faits, l'hypothèse d'un possible "crime d'avertissement" contre Amine Kessaci est évoquée par le procureur de la République de Marseille, Nicolas Bessone. Furthermore, Comcast made the donation with no expectations of receiving anything in return and the implication that the donation has anything to do with a potential transaction involving Warner Brothers Discovery is categorically false.”When Paramount settled their lawsuit with President Trump they said the money was going to be allocated to Trump's future presidential library, not paid to him "directly or indirectly".The company also noted the settlement does not include a statement of apology or regret.Responding to reports in the Financial Times that a donor to Donald Trump's reelection campaign had received the first barrels of oil obtained from Venezuela after America seized president Maduro, a White House spokesman said: “President Trump always does what is in the best interest of the American people, such as brokering this historic energy deal with Venezuela immediately following the arrest of narcoterrorist Nicolás Maduro. The media's continued attempts to fabricate conflicts of interest are a tired attempt to distract from the incredible work only this president is capable of achieving.” The White House has also rejected accusations of corruption. Israel denies accusations of genocide and ethnic cleansing.
