« Peur sur la ville ! », s'exclame Le Parisien. « La probable “exécution à message“, jeudi dernier, de Medhi Kessaci, le jeune frère du militant écologiste et associatif Amine Kessaci, connu pour son engagement contre le narcotrafic, cette exécution signe une escalade inédite dans la violence mafieuse à Marseille. Voire une bascule dans quelque chose d'inconnu, une première dans une ville pourtant malheureusement habituée aux règlements de comptes sur fond de guerre entre gangs de narcotrafiquants. C'est ici, dans la cité phocéenne, relève encore Le Parisien, qu'a été forgé le néologisme de “narcomicide“ : les morts se comptent désormais par centaines, y compris des “victimes collatérales“, innocentes, frappées par les balles criminelles. Si cette nouvelle dérive se confirme, personne ne serait plus épargné, ni les opposants au trafic, ni même leurs proches. » Pour autant, Amine Kessaci reste déterminé… C'est ce que constate notamment Le Monde. « “Levez-vous, battons-nous“ : c'est le message qu'a voulu adresser Amine Kessaci, hier, au lendemain des obsèques de son petit frère Mehdi, pointe le quotidien du soir. “Il faut aujourd'hui que plus de 100.000 personnes se mobilisent“, a déclaré ce militant écologiste de 22 ans qui lutte depuis plusieurs années contre le narcobanditisme et qui vit sous protection policière. “Ce samedi, poursuit-il, il y aura une marche blanche sur le rond-point où a été assassiné mon frère, à 15 heures. Il va falloir qu'on soit des milliers à se lever. » « C'est la République qu'on attaque » Amine Kessaci longuement interrogé ce matin dans Libération, aux côtés de Roberto Saviano, l'écrivain italien antimafia. « Deux hommes sous protection policière qui devaient se rencontrer : une évidence », lance Libération. « Roberto Saviano et Amine Kessaci ne se connaissaient pas, mais ils se sont parlé, se sont pris dans les bras. Dans un échange chargé d'émotion, ils racontent la solitude, la perte des proches, l'aveuglement de la classe politique, la corruption et la réalité de l'emprise de la mafia de la drogue en France, “plaque tournante du trafic en Europe“. » En effet, affirme Amine Kessaci, « à travers le meurtre de Mehdi, victime innocente, c'est la France qu'on veut tester. C'est la République qu'on attaque. C'est l'Etat de droit qu'on veut déconstruire. C'est tout ça qui est un jeu. (…) Il faut ouvrir les yeux, poursuit-il : la société est sous came, en état de dépendance. La souffrance mentale de millions de personnes offre un marché incroyable aux narcotrafiquants et la misère sociale leur fournit des petits soldats dociles, corvéables à merci. Les drogues sont partout, et partout le narcotrafic s'infiltre. On ne s'en sortira donc pas sans un vrai engagement de l'Etat. » « La France est en train de vivre l'une des pires périodes criminelles de son histoire, affirme de son côté Roberto Saviano, toujours dans les colonnes de Libération. Et cela a l'air de ne toucher qu'à peine le débat politique. Il est facile de dire qu'on est en faveur de la liberté d'expression. En revanche, payer un prix et que sa propre famille paye un prix, c'est ça qui est terrible. La mort du frère d'Amine nous fait dire que la lutte contre le pouvoir criminel en France est aujourd'hui plus difficile que jamais parce qu'on est seuls. » Le commanditaire : un patron de la DZ mafia ? On revient au Parisien qui révèle que « l'enquête sur l'exécution du frère d'Amine Kessaci à Marseille s'oriente vers un contrat commandité par un détenu extrêmement dangereux : Amine O., surnommé “Mamine“ considéré comme le vrai patron de la DZ Mafia, l'un des plus importants gangs marseillais de narcotrafiquants. » Cet homme de 31 ans, précise Le Parisien, « a été discrètement transféré avant-hier de la maison d'arrêt de Bourg-en-Bresse au nouveau quartier de lutte contre la criminalité organisée de Condé-sur-Sarthe, la deuxième prison ultra-sécurisée imaginée par Gérald Darmanin, le garde des Sceaux. Ironie de la situation, soupire Le Parisien : jusqu'à ses derniers jours de détention dans un établissement “classique“, et malgré ses nombreux transferts et placements à l'isolement strict ces dernières années, Amine O. est donc soupçonné d'avoir commandité plusieurs assassinats (…). Dont celui peut-être de Mehdi Kessaci… Enfin, ce commentaire du Monde : « “Une lutte à mort est engagée“, alerte Amine Kessaci. L'avertissement doit être entendu. Outre celles et ceux qui tombent sous les balles, l'Etat de droit, la paix civile et la démocratie sont dans le viseur des “narcos“. La mobilisation doit être à la hauteur de leur folle entreprise. »

Craig Unger confirms the Madrid meeting in July 1980, where Bill Casey met with Iranian cleric Mehdi Karoubi, establishing the parameters of the October Surprise by asking Karoubi to delay the hostage release until after the presidential election. The alleged Paris meeting in October involving George H.W. Bush is harder to prove, though investigative work punctured Bush's alibis. (Because why would she care about more than 20,000 innocent children, right?)This is why we, Zeteo, exist. Pour le Guardian, il y a de quoi s'interroger. « Les plans militaires américains soulèvent de nombreuses questions quant à l'engagement de Washington à transformer le cessez-le-feu, annoncé le mois dernier, en un règlement politique durable avec un contrôle palestinien sur Gaza, comme l'avait promis Donald Trump ». Car tout change très vite côté américain, précise le Guardian, qui parle « d'une approche chaotique et improvisée pour résoudre l'un des conflits les plus complexes et les plus insolubles du monde ». Ainsi, « la reconstruction sous forme « de camps fermés pour des petits groupes de Palestiniens », a-t-elle été « abandonnée cette semaine », selon un responsable américain. Un changement de plan dont « les organisations humanitaires n'ont pas été informées ». Pendant ce temps, conclut le Guardian, « près d'un million et demi de Palestiniens attendent des abris d'urgence, et des centaines de milliers d'autres vivent sous des tentes sans accès aux services essentiels, comme l'eau potable ». L'ombre des narcotrafiquants sur un nouvel assassinat à Marseille Toute la presse française s'en émeut ce matin. « Absolument terrifiant » titre Le Parisien, « Mehdi, 20 ans, petit frère d'Amine Kessaci, militant écologiste de 22 ans engagé dans la lutte contre le narco-banditisme, a été tué jeudi par un commando. L'ombre d'un crime d'avertissement plane » ajoute le quotidien, qui parle « d'une exécution en règle par deux hommes à moto, devant une pharmacie des quartiers nord de la ville ». « Un travail de pro », selon une source sécuritaire. Le Monde cite les propos du ministre de la Justice, Gérald Darmanin qui évoque « un point de bascule effrayant », un assassinat qui « doit faire prendre conscience du danger de cette mafia du narco-banditisme à l'ensemble de la société française ». « Le narcotrafic s'immisce dans la campagne pour les municipales », titre de son côté Le Figaro, pour qui « l'assassinat du frère du militant écologiste ravive les craintes des élus locaux, confrontés à un niveau de violence et d'intimidation jamais atteint ». Quant au journal Libération, il a interrogé la chercheuse Clotilde Champeyrache, qui parle de « méthodes qui font écho à l'ultra-violence des narcos colombiens ». « L'assassinat de Mehdi Kessaci est-il un acte d'intimidation, est-ce nouveau ? » lui demande le journal. « Si c'est avéré, oui, ça serait une nouveauté en France », répond-elle […] Ce sont des façons de faire qui font écho à l'Amérique latine ».  Où est vraiment Vladimir Poutine ? Question posée par le quotidien français La Croix, qui se fait l'écho d'une enquête de Radio Free Europe, selon laquelle « le bureau du président russe aurait été reproduit à l'identique dans deux autres lieux, pour faire croire à sa présence dans la capitale ». La radio américaine « a ainsi analysé près de 700 vidéos et en est arrivée à la conclusion que bon nombre des séquences présentées comme filmées à Moscou, l'étaient en réalité dans des résidences secondaires du chef de l'État, à Valdaï (entre Moscou et Saint-Pétersbourg) ou à Sotchi ». Selon La Croix, « c'est une poignée de porte qui a mis Radio Free Europe sur la piste du subterfuge », elle a en effet constaté « que la poignée de porte était, dans un cas, quelques centimètres plus haut que l'autre, par rapport à une ligne sur le papier peint ». D'autres défauts ont aussi été relevés. Pourquoi Vladimir Poutine joue-t-il ainsi à cache-cache ? Sans doute pour « des raisons de sécurité », estime La Croix. « Sa résidence de Valdaï est dissimulée dans une forêt à l'abri des frappes de drones ukrainiens ».
