Speaker: Pastor NickDate: July 27, 2025Synopsis: This morning we bring to a close our series called "Love Does" which was loosely based on the book by Bob Goff of the same title. Today, Pastor Nick brings a sermon called 'Love Doesn't Give Up' where we look at Luke 18, Romans 5 and John 13. We'll talk about a couple of stories - one from Bob Goff's life and a story about a missionary named Nate Saint. Finally, we'll close the service with 1 Corinthians 13. Above all, we hope you will remember that love compels us to action!Intro Music: Inspire And Motivate by Mixaund | https://mixaund.bandcamp.com Music promoted by https://www.free-stock-music.comOutro Music: Inspiring Beat by Alex Menco | https://alexmenco.net Music promoted by https://www.free-stock-music.com Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/deed.en_US
The Automotive Troublemaker w/ Paul J Daly and Kyle Mountsier
Shoot us a Text.Episode #1099: It's Saturday, which means Chris Reeves is back in the studio with another story that brings all the feels. This time it's about Speedway Subaru in Indianapolis. When a service advisor found out a longtime customer had lost everything in a house fire, including the dog that saved their life, he didn't just offer sympathy. He took action. The team came together to donate a car and provide essentials to help the family rebuild. We talk about what it means to be oriented toward people, how a culture of awareness makes stories like this possible, and yes, somehow we get into Dungeons & Dragons too.Story Link: https://www.linkedin.com/posts/speedwaycars_subarulovepromise-speedwaycares-speedwaysubaru-activity-7349806799643893761-r1Xg/?rcm=ACoAADx8cGUBDLlEN_DFCU9c17qutER63LD65xgJoin Paul J Daly and Kyle Mountsier every morning for the Automotive State of the Union podcast as they connect the dots across car dealerships, retail trends, emerging tech like AI, and cultural shifts—bringing clarity, speed, and people-first insight to automotive leaders navigating a rapidly changing industry.Get the Daily Push Back email at https://www.asotu.com/JOIN the conversation on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/company/asotu/Join Paul J Daly and Kyle Mountsier every morning for the Automotive State of the Union podcast as they connect the dots across car dealerships, retail trends, emerging tech like AI, and cultural shifts—bringing clarity, speed, and people-first insight to automotive leaders navigating a rapidly changing industry.Get the Daily Push Back email at https://www.asotu.com/ JOIN the conversation on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/company/asotu/

What if the food you're most attached to is actually keeping you from feeling your best? It's a tricky place to be when you love something that may no longer be serving your body or your health. For Chef Bai, that food was dairy. But breaking up with it wasn't just about cutting out one ingredient – it was about listening to her body, reclaiming her health, and rediscovering joy in the kitchen. A classically trained French chef and best-selling author, Chef Bai combines culinary creativity with a passion for nourishment, proving that healthy, healing food can still be rich in flavor and deeply satisfying. She is also a powerful advocate for people with chronic health issues, as well as a voice for animal welfare and the environment. In this episode, you'll learn: Common myths and misconceptions about dairy and its impact on the body The emotional journey of letting go of comfort foods and familiar habits How to navigate the five stages of grief when breaking up with a beloved food Tips for crafting nourishing, dairy-free meals without sacrificing flavor Why listening to your body with compassion is key to healing, joy, and self-trust You'll feel inspired to get honest about how certain foods are affecting you, recognize what might be holding you back, and take meaningful steps toward feeling your best – with compassion, not restriction. This episode gets real about the emotional rhythms of marriage—how we process things differently, how we misread each other, and what it means to feel truly seen and appreciated. Adam and Ashlee unpack how emotional awareness, resilience, and regular feedback have strengthened their relationship over time. They talk about why words of affirmation still matter (even 10 years in), how unspoken expectations can wear a couple down, and why understanding each other's emotional wiring is key to a lasting connection. Whether it's about navigating anger, sensitivity, conflict, or unmet needs, this conversation will challenge you to be more intentional in how you love, listen, and lead in your relationship.--Join our AFTER I DO community for Exclusive Content & community!www.afterido.app--Have a question about relationships? What NOT to Do on Social Media During a Divorce – Straight Talk with Jill Spielberg Valentine's Week is all about love, but let's be real, love doesn't always go as planned. And when it doesn't, social media can make things way worse (like Exhibit A in court worse). That's why I brought in Jill Spielberg, partner in charge of the Family and Matrimonial Law Department at Abrams-Fensterman LLP, to drop some major truth bombs about social media and divorce—what not to do, what could cost you in court, and even how to protect your kids. Biggest Takeaway? STOP POSTING! According to Jill, the best thing you can do during a divorce is take a social media hiatus. That vacation selfie? That vent session about your soon-to-be-ex? That new relationship post? All of it can be used against you. Even “friends” might not be real friends when emotions run high. A few ways social media can totally backfire: *Posting about your amazing new life while claiming you can't afford child support *Sharing party pics that could be used in a custody battle *Saying anything negative about your ex—your kids might see it, too! The Flip Side: Can Social Media Help During a Divorce? Not really, says Jill. But if you must post, make it positive—like supporting your co-parent's achievements. Otherwise, keep the drama offline. Why Divorce Hits Hard During Valentine's Week January is known as Divorce Month, but February can be brutal too. While stores are overflowing with hearts and candy, many people are struggling through heartbreak. If that's you, know this: You are not alone. ill's pro tip for avoiding divorce in the first place? APPRECIATION. The #1 reason couples split isn't money or infidelity—it's feeling unappreciated. Let that sink in. A Personal Story of Divorce Years ago, my daughter, an only child of divorce, always swore someday she'd have her own house and host every single holiday so she'd never have to “choose” between parents on a holiday again. Well, fast forward, and guess what? My ex-husband, his current wife, his former wife after me, her current husband, myself and my significant other, all these years later actually granted my daughter her wish. Here we are all sitting together at one big happy holiday table this year. Now that's growth! If you're navigating divorce (or know someone who is), this episode is a must-listen. Enjoy this full conversation with Jill Spielberg. She's an award-winning attorney who focuses on high-net-worth divorces, high-conflict custody cases, and prenuptial agreements.
Happy Valentines Day! That's a Jewish holiday right? Well, we're celebrating Rebbe Saint Valentine anyway. In this festive episode we get all googly-eyed over our guest Aleeza Ben Shalom, a matchmaker and relationship coach who you all know from Netflix's “Jewish Matchmaking”, and author of the new book Matchmaker Matchmaker: Find Me a Love That Lasts, which you should buy at least 2 copies of.We dive into Aleeza's advice to "date ‘em til you hate ‘em", untangle love and values, and hear why Chaya Leah's grandfather (who was himself a matchmkaer) would force men to stare into the mirror as they described their ideal girl. The interview with Aleeza starts around 41 minutes in, but first, you have to sit through our thoughts on Trump's plan for Gaza, travel tips for Somaliland, and a pitch for a new reality show to find the next palestinian leader.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Want to help us grow? Love doesn't hurt. I'm reminded of this truth while reading my latest book. It's a story about a woman who's brutally and routinely beaten by her husband. Unfortunately, this is not just fiction. Every day millions of women are brutally beaten by people who say they love them. And it's not only the physical abuse that hurts. In this episode, I reiterate the concept that love doesn't hurt. I talk about Christ's love for the church and can't imagine that he would hit His bride in the face or kick her with His foot. Love Doesn't Hurt is a simple yet profound call to action for solo moms to look within and connect with a loving savior whose love is unconditional. This Valentine's Day, if you find yourself alone and not where you want to be, remember, solo mom. This is part two of a two-part story with Anna Astwood. Anna is a survivor of teen dating violence. It happened about 25 years ago, but she has lived with it every day since. As a survivor herself of sexual assault and teenage dating violence from the ages of 12 to 18 years old, she knows the pain, the trauma, the guilt of what relationship violence brings. Most importantly, she knows the healing that can take place after trauma. Although not an easy task, Anna explains that by taking the steps to heal and being willing to be vulnerable and authentic with what she has experienced, will bring back the power and peace that was stolen from her many years ago. Have you ever purposely hidden your faith? Sometimes we're aware that people have linked Christ to other people or other ideas or actions that don't reflect on who Jesus truly is. But the truth of Jesus' goodness persists. He is good. He is kind. He is loving beyond what we can ever comprehend. And it's okay if you need to make a clarification about that. You can say, “Look, I'm a Christian… that may not mean what you think it means. I'm a follower of Jesus. Can I tell you about how He's changed my life?” You don't need to immediately convince or convict someone. The Holy Spirit does so much of that. You can simply be honest about what Jesus did for you when you were lost in sin…when you were suffering from the sickness of despair. Every person has access to that same mercy Jesus offered you. Remember, there is always hope with God. This is Andrew Palau. "You must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it." 1 Peter 3:15 radio.hopewithgod.com Find out more at https://hopewithgod.pinecast.co This podcast is powered by Pinecast.

Send us a textLove doesn't embody control; it thrives in freedom. True love nurtures individuality and respects boundaries, allowing each person to grow in their own way. It is not about possession, manipulation, or coercion, but about trust, respect, and mutual understanding. Love encourages self-expression and empowers both individuals to be their authentic selves without fear of judgment or retribution. It embraces vulnerability and imperfection, knowing that genuine connection is born from acceptance, not domination.Support the show

Insisting on my own way, prioritizing my preferences, and seeking my well-being over others' does not exemplify the life of love God calls us to in 1 Corinthians. Love is, after all, patient and kind. It's not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. And it certainly does not demand its own way.

Wellness + Wisdom | Episode 595 Can relationship death be the beginning of true love? Margo Running, Holistic and Spiritual Healer, accompanies Josh Trent and his partner, Carrie Michelle, on the Wellness + Wisdom podcast, episode 595, where together they unravel how their relationship had to die to be recreated anew without projecting their trauma onto each other, why they decided to stay together, and how Margo helped guide them through this process. "When I saw you both loving each other so much, and yet this confusion of what that needs to look like. We're hereditary and generational trauma gets passed on. I saw all of our ancestors looking at this moment going "We didn't know how to make it good. Can you?" But I was keeping score because I thought if it doesn‘t work out, then I have all this evidence stacked to why she hurt me and why everything transpired the way it did. I was building a case as to if it didn‘t work out then like it was her fault. What was missing was me not loving Josh. Not choosing Josh. Not actually fucking choosing Josh. Not even knowing what it is to choose myself." - Josh Trent Love Beyond A Relationship "I didn't know if you were going to love me beyond our relationship. I had to know that you were going to love me even if it wasn't in service to you. It feels different when you can truly choose someone and you‘re not choosing someone out of fear of losing them." - Carrie Michelle Let Go of Your Triggers "I have to let go of everything that is triggering me, what I think is wrong, and what I'm blaming you, shaming you, or judging you about and just ask myself "What can I really learn from this?" You're not my dad, you're not my mom, but on some visceral level this lives in us. And we unconsciously push it onto the person that we love. It's just so sad that we do that. But it's liberating to have that awareness." - Josh Trent Links From Today's Show Carrie Michelle Margo Running 463 JP Sears | This Is How Media HIJACKS Your Mind: Stop Censoring Yourself & Heal The Tyrant Within 386 Mark Groves | Create More Love: How To Deal w/ Breakups, Boundaries, & Beyond Gabor Mate David Goggings Finding Joe 483 Wayland Myers | NonViolent Communication: How to Stop Arguments In 60 Seconds + The Power of Loving Detachment Josh's Trusted Products | Up To 40% Off Shop All Products BREATHE - 33% off with the code “PODCAST33” SiPhox - 10% off with code "JOSH" Holy Hydrogen - $100 off with code "JOSH" Myoxcience - Save 20% with code "JOSH20" SinuSonic - 15% off with "JOSH15" Organifi - 20% off with the code ‘WELLNESSFORCE' QI-Shield EMF Device - 20% off with the code "JOSH" SEED Synbiotic - 30% off with the code "JOSHTRENT" BON CHARGE - 15% off with the code "JOSH15" MANNA Vitality - 20% off with the code "JOSH20" SimplyO3 - 10% off with code "JOSH10" Kineon - 10% off with code "JOSH10" Mendi.io - 20% off with the code "JOSH20" Adapt Naturals - 15% off with code "WELLNESSFORCE" SpectraSculpt - 15% off with the code "JOSH15" SaunaSpace - 10% off with the code "JOSH10" Cured Nutrition CBD - 20% off with the code "WELLNESS FORCE" PLUNGE - $150 off with the code “WELLNESSFORCE" LiftMode - 10% off with the code "JOSH10" MitoZen - 10% off with the code “WELLNESSFORCE” Paleovalley - 15% off with the link only NOOTOPIA - 10% off with the code "JOSH10" Activation Products - 20% off with the code “WELLNESSFORCE” SENSATE - $25 off with the code "JOSH25" BiOptimizers - 10% off with the code "JOSH10" ION - 15% off with the code ‘JOSH15' Feel Free from Botanic Tonics - $40 off with the code "WELLNESS40" Essential Oil Wizardry - Save 15% with "WELLNESSFORCE" ALIVE WATERS - 33% off your first order with the code "JOSH33" Earth Runners Shoes - 10% off with code "JOSH10" DRY FARM WINES - Get an extra bottle of Pure Natural Wine with your order for just 1¢ Drink LMNT - Zero Sugar Hydration: Get your free LMNT Sample Pack, with any purchase EnergyBITS - Save 20% with "WELLNESSFORCE" Create Wellness Creatine Gummies - Save 20% with "JOSH20" EQUIP Foods - Save 15% with code JOSH15 Free Resources M21 Wellness Guide - Free 3-Week Breathwork Program with Josh Trent Join Wellness + Wisdom Community About Margo Running San Francisco born, Euro descent, walking lightly on the land currently on Maui, the home of voyagers, the Kanaka Maoli Margo has lived many incarnations in this life, many careers fully expressed, from cooking for 350 people daily, as a massage therapist, and kindergarten teacher; all for decades each period.
