Click Here to ask your book writing and publishing questions! What do a flooded house, a nine-month (and still going) renovation, and a debut novel have in common? Angelika Morini. In this episode, Angelika shares what it actually looked like to finish her first novel, Do You See Me Now?—while living in chaos (read: house stripped to the studs). We talk about why character development can feel a lot like falling in love with someone mysterious and how launching a book is less of a finish line and more like Mile One of a marathon you didn't know you signed up for.EPISODE HIGHLIGHTS:The (not so) glamorous reality of writing and editing during a home renovation from hellWhy marketing Book One while dreaming up Book Two can feel like a bit of a tightrope actThe decision to write in English (even though she's German) Weaving the complexities of post-reunification Germany into her novelThe way she allowed her characters to show up and surprise her (no outline, no problem!) What separates the good from the legendary? In this conversation, I sit down with my longtime friend and one of the most influential forces in sports, entertainment, and culture—Constance Schwartz-Morini. She's the mastermind behind some of the biggest names in the game—Michael Strahan, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Coach Prime, Erin Andrews, and the Bella Twins. And today, she's pulling back the curtain on what it really takes to build a brand, create opportunities, and dominate multiple industries. Constance is a visionary. She doesn't just manage talent—she sees limitless potential in people before they even see it in themselves. She's the reason Michael Strahan went from NFL legend to media powerhouse. She encouraged Coach Prime to step into the head coaching role when no one else believed he could. And she's built SMAC Entertainment into more than a talent management company—it's a business incubator that helps people win big. In this episode, she shares the mindset, strategy, and work ethic required to turn ideas into reality. If you've ever doubted your ability to build something great—this episode will change that. Constance talks about her journey from being an assistant at the NFL to becoming a power player in multiple industries. She reveals how she negotiates deals at the highest level, the brutal truth about building a business, and why the best brands aren't built on hype—they're built on authenticity. You'll also hear the untold stories behind the brands you know—how Erin Andrews turned a simple frustration into a multimillion-dollar apparel company, how Taylor Swift wearing her jacket changed everything, and why the best entrepreneurs never stop evolving. Key Takeaways:Why certainty is the key to influence—and how to use it to win. This one's packed with insights that will change the way you think about business, branding, and success. Don't just listen—apply it. Max out!

Constance oozes authentic badassery and beautifully embraces her confidence and vulnerability even when things are uncertain. This episode is dedicated to helping the 20 somethings find their way to more confident 30 something, and to helping the 30 and 40 somethings realize their time for confidence and releasing a victim mindset has come. “The main challenge was what a lot of young women still face, guys getting brought in above me because they have connections. In this week's first segment Don Williams and Nic de Sena tell you all about the new Moto Morini Seiemmezzo STR Sport. Moto Morini has been around since 1937 and the now Chinese-owned company is bringing the classic Italian brand back to America. The STR Sport is an international mix of truly high-quality components, with a 650 parallel twin engine licensed from Kawasaki; Japanese suspension from KYB, Italian brakes from Brembo, and German electronics from Bosch. However, the Seiemmezzo is quite heavy, and Don gives us his impressions on how the bike rides and whether it's likely to be a real hit, or a miss. In our second segment this week, Teejay Adams chats with Whit Bazemore. I think we can safely say that Whit is a major motorsports enthusiast as he's done a bit of everything including drag-racing Funny Cars at the top level. But his claim to fame is as an internationally renowned photographer who discovered that his real passion is MotoGP, and he's now planning to parlay his incredible photography into a digital MotoGP magazine called The Lean Angle. Constance shared that several important early lessons in leadership were learned through her own sporting experiences. A 95-pound softball player in high school who didn't see a lot of at bats, she says she was proud to be a backup and “bench cheerleader.” “It doesn't matter how great I play my position if the team loses,” she said. “And that's what we instill in our team.” Our BONUS RESOURCE for this episode includes fill-in-the-blank notes and reflection questions. Becoming that kind of woman takes a lot of work, but the more women we surround ourselves with that remind us of who we want to become, and the more examples of women we see like this, the easier it becomes for us.When you think of badassery at a level that leaves NFL Hall of Famers like Dione Sanders and Michael Strahan nodding in approval, this woman has to come top of mind, Constance Schwartz-Morini. She's been holding her own, rising to the top, and commanding respect in the sports entertainment industry where men dominate for decades.Constance oozes authentic badassery and beautifully embraces her confidence and vulnerability even when things are uncertain. This episode is dedicated to helping the 20 somethings find their way to more confident 30 something, and to helping the 30 and 40 somethings realize their time for confidence and releasing a victim mindset has come.“The main challenge was what a lot of young women still face, guys getting brought in above me because they have connections. That happened three times. Instead of quitting or giving up I worked ten times harder, it put the battery in my back.” -Constance Schwartz-Morini Resource mentioned in this episode:Brene Brown Ted Talk, Vulnerability: https://youtu.be/iCvmsMzlF7o Rocket Fuel by Gino Wickman & Mark Winters: https://www.amazon.com/Rocket-Fuel-Essential-Combination-Business/dp/1942952317 SHOW NOTES:0:00 | Introduction to Constance Schwartz-Morini0:46 | Make Them Respect You10:14 | Vulnerability Can Boost Confidence 15:43 | Girl, Lose Your Ego21:40 | Lose The Victim Mindset27:52 | Badass Leaders Need Support Too32:16 | High Achievers Can Find Love 42:03 | Find the Right Partner For You48:20 | Hustle Hard or Quiet Quit?1:03:00 | Don't Get Boxed Into Being ArrogantQUOTES:“I'm really good at what I know but I'm even better at what I don't know.” [11:53]“It's a constant battle to move the ball forward.” [23:05]“There's no seat at that table for me, well f*ck you I'm building my own table.” [28:58]“You've got to make room for your partner, and you've got to make room for yourself.” [41:46]“You want to be with the right person that you can grow together, not part.
