Während Karneval, Fasching und Fasnacht in Deutschland längst vorüber sind, begann am 23. Februar um vier Uhr morgens die Basler Fasnacht. Im Juli 2024 hat Marc-Nicolai Pfeifer seinen Dienst an der Hafenstraße in Essen angetreten. Dass er es an die Spitze eines Vereins im Profifußball geschafft hat, kann kein Zufall sein. "Ich wusste schon seit Kindesbeinen, dass ich Manager im Fußball werden will. Ich habe auch bei einem Profiverein in der Jugend Fußball gespielt, wusste aber auch da schon, dass mein Weg nicht der des Profifußballers ist." Der Schlüssel zum Erfolg? Mehr machen, als die Anderen. Wer dem gebürtigen Ludwigsburger zuhört, der versteht seine Art und Außenwirkung besser. Es wird schnell klar, welch großer Ehrgeiz in Marc-Nicolai Pfeifer steckt.
