Photo courtesy Navajo Nation Council Over the last year, the Navajo Nation Council has been investigating what happened to the $24 million in COVID relief allocated for ZenniHome, a failed housing initiative. A week-long public hearing on the matter got off to a slow start Monday when subpoenaed witnesses failed to show up on the advice of the tribe's justice department. KJZZ's Gabriel Pietrorazio reports. Those witnesses included Navajo President Buu Nygren, but the tribe’s Department of Justice (DOJ) sent a same-day memo advising all government employees to not attend or testify. “The Department of Justice is not here to hinder the process and our main emphasis is that we protect the attorney-client relationship.” Acting Deputy Attorney General JoAnn Jayne says the best way to do so is in executive session. “We can advise you as to what can be disclosed and what cannot be disclosed, and so the sooner that we do that, you know, then the legislative branch can move on.” Budget and Finance Committee Vice Chair Carl Slater questions whether the DOJ is operating in good faith. “It's very difficult to ascertain – between the politically appointed leadership of the department and the rank and file employees – what the position of the department is with respect to trying to quash this whole endeavor.” Meanwhile, Nygren himself has filed several motions to stay the public proceedings. Tlingit Master Carver Israel Shotridge, left, was known to work with family members like nephew Robert Jackson. (Courtesy Sue Shotridge) If you have spent time in Ketchikan, Alaska, you have likely seen the work of Israel Shotridge. The Tlingit Master Carver passed away in Washington state in April at the age of 75. Shotridge is being remembered for his artistry, gentleness and love of family. KRBD's Hunter Morrison spoke with two of Shotridge's loved ones about his life and legacy, and has this story. Shotridge's Tlingit name Kinstaádaál (The Bear That is Standing up) is also the name of a song he wrote for and sang with his mother, Esther Shea. They were members of the Bear Clan of the Tongass Tribe. Born Howard Jackson in 1951, Shotridge was raised in Ketchikan and later changed his name. Growing up, he excelled in school and sports, but Shotridge's passion was for the arts. Willard Jackson, his older brother, says Shotridge liked to draw at a young age. “Creativity for him came easy, but he was good at it.” After going to college in Seattle, Wash., Shotridge returned to Ketchikan and eventually began carving. His first major project was to carve a replica of the 55-foot Chief Johnson totem pole. It was the first pole in over 50 years to be carved and raised in Ketchikan, and still stands downtown today. Shotridge also met his wife Sue around that time. “He was friendly to everybody, and I just fell in love with him. He was fun to be around. We laughed. We both had the same interest in the culture, it was a fun journey.” In addition to his totem work, Shotridge carved bentwood boxes, masks, and other ceremonial pieces. In the 1990s, Shotridge and his wife moved to Washington state, where they opened their shop The Shotridge Collection, but art was not Shotridge's only interest. He had a love for music and was also a family man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His wife says this, his art, and cultural preservation, will be Shotridge's lasting legacy. “He was the humblest and most modest artist that I ever knew.” Willard says Shotridge's carvings, and legacy, can be found all around the globe. “You can’t go through town or anywhere else without seeing his artwork. It’s there. And every time I see it, I know it’s his.” His wife plans to return Shotridge's ashes to Southeast Alaska next year for a canoe journey from Wrangell to Ketchikan. She says Shotridge wanted to do that, but never had the chance when he was alive. Get National Native News delivered to your inbox daily. Sign up for our daily newsletter today. Send us Fan MailThe ballot gets crowded fast, but our decision-making stays simple: we vote from conviction, not vibes. Dr. Robert Jackson sits down with his daughter, Hannah Miller, to share our South Carolina primary election endorsements and the standards we use when friends call asking, “Who do I vote for?” We do not claim you must vote our way, but we do believe clarity helps, especially when candidates sound similar until you look at what they actually commit to.We start with the issue we treat as the non-negotiable foundation for every race: pro-life policy and the sanctity of life. We explain why that is not a shallow “single issue” approach, and why leaders who stand firm there often show the same backbone on budgets, corruption, and cultural pressure. From the governor's race to the attorney general contest and the US Senate matchup, we talk through specific signals we watch for, including the Equal Protection pledge, support for Senate 1095, and whether someone is willing to take heat without hiding behind softer language. We also bring the conversation home to Spartanburg County politics, including the county council chair race and the fallout from the data center fight. We discuss why many residents feel unheard, how local power networks shape decisions, and what accountability should look like when hundreds of people show up asking questions. If you want a values-driven South Carolina voter guide rooted in biblical principles, listen through and weigh our reasoning. Send us Fan MailGenealogies usually get skipped, but Genesis 10 refuses to be background noise. When you slow down, the Table of Nations becomes a map of the world after the flood and a warning about what the human heart does with power. I'm Dr. Robert Jackson, and we walk through Genesis 10:6–20 with a focus on the sons of Ham, tying biblical names to real places like Ethiopia, Egypt, and Libya so the text lands in history instead of floating in abstraction. Then we zero in on one of the most haunting figures in early Genesis: Nimrod. Scripture calls him a mighty one and a mighty hunter, and we explore how his story connects to Babel in the land of Shinar and to the building of major cities that echo throughout the Old Testament, including Nineveh in Assyria. This is more than ancient trivia. It's a picture of how rebellion can gather followers, reshape a culture, and persuade people to trust human judgment over God's word. We also trace Canaan's line and the Canaanite tribes that later fill the promised land narrative, placing Israel's arrival into its true context. Finally, we ask the question that brings the passage to life: where is Jesus here? Nimrod's “let us rebel” becomes a mirror of our sin nature and a call to discernment, worship, and refuge in the Son. If this kind of Bible teaching helps you read Scripture with fresh eyes, subscribe, share the show with a friend, and leave a review so more listeners can find it.Support the showhttps://www.jacksonfamilyministry.comhttps://bobslone.com/home/podcast-production/

Send us Fan Mail“What is a woman?” used to be a straightforward question. Now it can derail a courtroom, a classroom, or a family dinner and that's exactly why we decided to talk about it plainly. Dr. Robert Jackson sits down with his wife Carlotta after she teaches a women's message at a church luncheon, and we trace the deeper issue beneath the headlines: our culture has stopped trusting definitions that come from God's design. We start with a word that rarely gets airtime anymore: surrender. Not religious talk, not vibes, not “I believe,” but the kind of surrender that actually changes who we obey, how we love, and what we call strength. From there we walk through the confusion around womanhood, the waves of feminism that shaped modern expectations, and why division between men and women doesn't liberate anyone, it fractures the family and the church. Then we challenge the popular “strong woman” script: independence at all costs, self-first living, and leadership mocked as weakness. We share a different picture, strength that builds, covers, honors sacrifice, and makes a home a place of peace rather than competition. We also tease next week's follow-up, where Carlotta plans to unpack women in Scripture and the traits that mark a truly strong woman.Subscribe to More Than Medicine, share this with someone who needs a reset on the word “strong,” and leave a review so more families can find it. Send us Fan Mail“We have no king but Caesar.” That line from John 19 is only a few words, but it shines a harsh light on the way fear can hijack faith. I'm Dr Robert Jackson, and on More Than Medicine I read the Easter account with fresh eyes, then ask a question that refuses to stay in church language: when pressure rises, who actually rules your heart? We walk through the biblical worldview behind the moment. Israel's history is filled with people who refused to treat rulers like gods, from Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego standing tall before Nebuchadnezzar, to Mordecai refusing to bow and Esther risking her life to speak. Those stories aren't here for nostalgia. They help us name modern idols: safety, approval, status, and the urge to let politics or institutions do the job only God can do.Then we bring it down to street level with a simple test. When your child is sick, when your marriage is on fire, when money gets tight, when a diagnosis lands, who do you call first? I also share my own kidney cancer scare and what it taught me about faith over fear, prayer, and trusting Jesus as King even when outcomes are unknown. Finally, I preview an upcoming conversation with Scott Shara and his book Is Our Government Legally Killing Us?, challenging the habit of treating government as our ultimate rescuer in healthcare and retirement. If this stirred something, subscribe, share the episode with a friend, and leave a review. Send us Fan MailA military general tells Gary Dawson he has to leave the Amazon and then a little girl runs up, wraps her arms around his leg, and changes the whole tone of the confrontation. That moment captures the heart of this conversation with Dr. Robert Jackson: what it looks like to follow a calling when the pressure is real, the stakes are high, and the outcome is out of your hands. Gary, author of Gringo Mama, shares why his family stayed in Venezuela after missionaries were expelled, and how decades of life among the Yanomama people shaped his faith, language, and sense of purpose. We also go where most mission stories don't. Gary explains the Yanomama view of the spirit world and the role of shamans, describing fear, deception, and the dark promise of “power” that often ends in destruction. He recounts a tense journey into an enemy village, a night of warnings, and a chilling encounter where a shaman claims he heard them coming and identifies God as the “enemy God.” The description of a place with no darkness, no death, and a crystal river brings the Bible to mind and raises hard questions about spiritual warfare, discernment, and what evil looks like across cultures and at home. At the center, we come back to the gospel. Gary reflects on assurance of salvation, the truth that Jesus saves us when we can't save ourselves, and the deeper comfort that Christ also keeps us. We close with practical needs and prayer: help printing more copies of the book, support for medical debt from caring for the Yanomama, and urgent prayer for two year old Rihanna, diagnosed with aggressive leukemia. Where do classical Christian schools find their teachers, and how are they trained? In this episode of BaseCamp Live, Davies Owens sits down with Dr. Rob Jackson to explore one of the biggest challenges facing classical education today, building a strong pipeline of teachers. As more schools launch and grow, many are realizing that traditional certification programs do not prepare teachers for the classical classroom. Instead, schools are looking for educators with a love of their subject, a commitment to wisdom, and a willingness to be formed through mentorship and experience. Dr. Jackson shares where schools are finding teachers today, including recent graduates, second-career professionals, homeschool parents, and experienced educators searching for a better model. The conversation also highlights the role of apprenticeship, mentorship, and ongoing training in helping teachers grow in both skill and confidence.

Robert H. Jackson was not an easy man to know, but "I found being in Robert Jackson's company on the whole a great pleasure," says G. Edward White, author of the new biography Robert H. Jackson: A Life in Judgement. A longtime ally of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Jackson served as both Solicitor General and Attorney General before FDR nominated him to the U.S. Supreme Court. However, he often pined for his previous life as a small-town litigator in Jamestown, New York. A solitary worker by nature, Jackson did not relish the collegiate aspects of the court, and his influence was therefore limited. "Jackson was nominally gregarious, active, fun-loving, witty pleasant–but at the same time, he was remote," White tells Modern Law Library's host Lee Rawles. "In some ways, his gregariousness was a barrier to maybe a closer understanding of him." But as a litigator and as a justice, Jackson made important historical contributions. One major such contribution was in establishing the format and location of the post-World War II international military tribunals of Nazi leaders, now known as the Nuremberg Trials. Jackson took a leave of absence from the U.S. Supreme Court to be the country's lead negotiator as the United States, Great Britain, France and the Soviet Union debated how tribunals would take place. He then served as the United States' chief prosecutor. White and Rawles also discuss the roadblocks that have prevented Jackson from being better known in legal history; how Justice Felix Frankfurter tried to protect Jackson's post-death legacy; and Jackson's controversial cross-examination of Nazi politician Hermann Goering. In honor of the Olympics, White (who has written books on baseball and soccer) also shares his perspective on the benefits that athletics brings to lawyers.

Antitrust attorney Basel Musharbash discusses recent political whiplash in beef markets and the broader question of how actually to enforce anti-monopoly law. The conversation covers why ranchers erupted over being blamed for high beef prices, the history of promises versus lackluster execution going back to early 1900s meatpacking cases, and how the Packers and Stockyards Act was supposed to regulate these companies but never really worked except briefly in the 1940s, Reagan's 1982 announcement ending merger enforcement and the five year transformation that followed, the difference between free markets and accessible competitive markets, why monopolies arise even without government help through predatory pricing and exclusive contracts, the paradox of needing to use power to break up concentrated power, Robert Jackson's 1937 speech on economic democracy without bureaucracy or regimentation, concrete immediate actions like debarment from government contracts versus multi-year DOJ investigations, why Congress could pass a breakup bill instead of waiting on agencies, the political opportunity for either party to outflank the other on this issue, Dan Osborne's economic dictatorship framing, and why economists should maybe just be ignored entirely when they dismiss rancher testimony with modeling exercises.Basel is Managing Attorney at the Antimonopoly Counsel, specializing in antitrust and trade regulation with a focus on agriculture, rural economies, and consumer protection. He has represented farmers against meat processors, defended workers from illegal noncompete agreements, and advocated before the FTC, DOJ, and USDA. Basel authored the landmark 2024 report “Kings Over the Necessaries of Life” on monopolization in American agriculture. His work has been featured in Reuters, AP, Time Magazine, CNBC, and other major outlets.

“Nuremberg” opens in the spring of 1945. Hitler is dead. Many of his henchmen have died by suicide, have been arrested or have fled. The world is just beginning to grapple with the horrors committed by the Third Reich. Hermann Göring, Hitler's second in command, is arrested by American troops in Austria, who discover him heading west in a convoy of family and friends. Ostensibly, he intends to surrender to the Allies. The film tells the story of the American lead prosecutor, Robert Jackson, who believed captured Nazi leadership — including Göring — should stand trial at Nuremberg. He wanted the men to answer publicly for their crimes. But before they can have their day in court, each one will be examined by a military psychiatrist, to determine if they are mentally fit. The psychiatrist assigned to Göring, the ambitious Robert Kelley, has a secondary intent. He wants to find out what linked the defendants. Did they have a common psychiatric disorder that would explain their heinous crimes? Could their evil be diagnosed, and if so, be prevented from infecting future generations? “Nuremberg,” which opens nationwide this weekend, stars Russell Crowe as Göring and Rami Malek as Kelley. The film is based on Minneapolis writer Jack el-Hai's 2011 book, “The Nazi and the Psychiatrist.” To mark the release of “Nuremburg,” Kerri Miller hosted el-Hai at MPR's St. Paul studios to talk about the book and the movie adaptation. They also discuss the central question that animates both: If the potential for evil lurks inside all of us, how do we stop it? Guest:Jack el-Hai is the author of many books, including “The Nazi and the Psychiatrist.” He lives and writes in Minneapolis. Dr. Robert Jackson sits down with Jeannie Smith—once a patient in a crisis pregnancy center, now the executive director of Coastline Women's Center—to trace how one decision reshaped her future and why she now advocates for South Carolina's SB 323. Jeannie opens up about the pain of an abortion in her past, the miraculous healing that followed, and the calling that led her to leave a medical career and start a center from scratch. Her message is firm but compassionate: laws with real consequences deter abortions, protect unborn children, and spare women from decades of silent regret. We walk through the heart of SB 323, sometimes called a personhood or unborn child protection bill, and why Jeannie supports “teeth” in the legislation. She argues that when clinics and prescribers face real penalties, abortion access collapses and decisions change. Dr. Jackson shares a patient's thirty‑year secret and the way post‑abortion counseling restored her hope, underscoring the often invisible psychological and spiritual toll. Jeannie challenges the assumption that all women seeking abortion are victims, noting how online research and abortion pills increase isolation and deepen trauma. The conversation stays grounded in two commitments: moral clarity through law and everyday compassion through practical care.If you live in South Carolina, we invite you to contact your state senator and ask them to support SB 323 without amendments. Send us a textA single question over breakfast can reroute a life. That's how Mark Baumgartner, a former airline and corporate pilot, found himself trading flight plans for a green vest on a Columbia sidewalk—armed with a simple card, a phone number, and a promise of help. One mother stopped at the top of a hill, turned around, and asked, “Can you really help me?” Months later, Mark received a midnight photo of Chloe, “my precious gift from God.” That moment became the name and heartbeat of a growing effort: A Moment of Hope.We walk through the arc of that calling—from the spark in Orlando to a defining sermon on Hebrews 11, to the first save that launched a ministry now covering clinic hours, running a mobile medical RV staffed by RNs and overseen by an OB-GYN, and connecting moms to church-based care teams for a full year of support. Mark shares what 5,000 hours on the curb have taught him about courage, timing, and the kind of practical love that changes minds: ultrasounds on wheels, baby showers organized by local congregations, and steady follow-up when the initial crisis has passed. The conversation also turns to policy and principle. We unpack South Carolina's Senate Bill 323, why Mark testified in support, and the hard stories that shaped his remarks—ambulances, wheelchairs, and the tears of boyfriends with no say. We wrestle with responsibility and repentance, the need for clear deterrence in law, and the hope of the gospel that tells the truth about sin and offers real grace. Along the way, Dr. Robert Jackson adds a physician's perspective from decades of obstetrics, naming both the spiritual battle and the profound relief of a single life saved. If you've ever wondered how to help beyond a social media post, this is your map: form a church care team, serve a shift on the sidewalk, fund the mobile unit, or advocate for life-affirming laws. WW1's end saw the signing of the Treaty of Versailles which went hard at the country of Germany. So much so it allowed Adolf Hitler to ascend to power using the treaties punishment as a tool to turn a large portion of the country to him for the fix. The Allies were determined to make sure that mistake was not repeated after WW2. The proposed solutions included mass killings and show trials, summary executions of leadership, to an international criminal trial. The IMT or International Military Tribunal was formed to try the 25 highest remaining nazi military officers, political figures, and economic collaborators for their crimes against peace and humanity. A Judge and Prosecutor from The U.S., U.K., France, and Soviet Union would determine their fates and in the process give the world its first look at what the third reich was doing besides just making war. This is where the world would hear evidence about the early nazi parties plan to invade other countries, the atrocities they committed on the eastern front, and about the individual roles they played in the Holocaust. Send us a textWhat does it truly mean to walk with God? In this thought-provoking episode of Devotions with Dr. Papa, we uncover the profound spiritual legacy of ancient patriarchs like Methuselah and Noah, who stood apart as preachers of righteousness in a corrupt world.Dr. Robert Jackson takes us on a fascinating journey through Genesis 5, revealing how Methuselah—whose very name meant "judgment coming"—carried a prophetic message throughout his extraordinary 969-year life. Imagine bearing a name that constantly reminded people of impending divine judgment! For nearly a century, both Methuselah and his grandson Noah warned of catastrophe while facing ridicule from a world that had never even seen rain. But what truly set these patriarchs apart from their numerous siblings? The answer lies in a simple yet profound choice they made—they "set their hearts" to walk with God. Drawing powerful parallels with Ezra, who purposefully decided to study, practice, and teach God's law even while in exile, Dr. Jackson illuminates how spiritual impact flows from deliberate decisions rather than special talents or circumstances. This message strikes at the heart of authentic discipleship. Each of us faces the same choice that confronted the ancient patriarchs—will we decide to walk closely with God, study His Word, and share His truth with our circle of influence? As Dr. Jackson powerfully reminds us: "Any one of us can become a seed planter, a soul winner, an evangelist... Any one of us can be known as that person who walks with God and consistently speaks the truth in love."Join us for this transformative exploration of purpose, decision, and spiritual legacy. Send us a textWhen tragedy strikes the Christian community, how should believers respond? Dr. Robert Jackson tackles this profound question through the lens of martyrdom, drawing powerful parallels between Stephen—the first Christian martyr—and Charlie Kirk, whose life was recently cut short.Drawing from Acts chapters 6-7, Dr. Jackson unpacks the striking similarities between these two men of faith separated by millennia. Both were filled with grace and spiritual power. Both faced fierce opposition with unflappable composure. Both spoke truth fearlessly, even when it cost them everything. Where Stephen's face shone "like an angel" before the Sanhedrin, Charlie maintained his characteristic smile even when surrounded by hostile crowds. This Spirit-filled demeanor, Dr. Jackson observes, enraged their opponents more than anything else. The martyrdom of Stephen catalyzed the spread of the early church and led to Saul's transformation into Paul, who would write much of the New Testament. Similarly, Charlie Kirk's death presents a pivotal moment for believers today. Will this tragedy drive us deeper in our faith or merely provoke angry responses? Dr. Jackson offers practical guidance: examine your faith's authenticity, deepen your walk with God, and recognize the spiritual nature of our battles. Most crucially, he reminds us that revival happens one heart at a time, as believers share their testimonies and the gospel with those in their circles of influence. "Our only strategy is evangelism," he emphasizes, "and our only weapon is the truth of the gospel."Ready to move from spectator to participant in what God might do through this tragedy? This episode challenges you to be a light in your community, workplace, and family—giving people Jesus rather than merely lamenting cultural darkness. Send us a textThe recent passing of James Dobson sparked a broader conversation about fallen Christian leaders and how believers should respond when those we've trusted are revealed to have feet of clay. Dr. Robert Jackson and his daughter Hannah Miller tackle this sensitive topic with wisdom, vulnerability, and biblical insight. At the heart of their discussion lies a profound reminder: we all share in humanity's fallen nature. While some leaders' sins become public spectacles—typically involving sexual impropriety or financial misdeeds—every believer struggles with sinful tendencies that cause friction in their relationships. This reality should foster humility rather than harsh judgment when we learn of others' moral failures. The conversation explores the critical distinction between repentant and unrepentant leaders. Through a powerful personal story, Dr. Jackson illustrates the beautiful possibility of restoration when a fallen leader genuinely repents, submits to accountability, and undergoes a healing process. This stands in stark contrast to unrepentant leaders whose pride prevents true reconciliation and who continue to wound the church.Perhaps most thought-provoking is their discussion about whether a leader's moral failure invalidates their previous teaching. "Truth is truth, brilliance is brilliance," Dr. Jackson observes, suggesting that while some may find it emotionally impossible to benefit from a fallen leader's work, others can separate the truth from the messenger with proper discernment. The father-daughter duo concludes with practical wisdom for protecting ourselves from similar fates: daily self-examination before God and authentic accountability relationships. "Accountability is you and me helping each other to keep our promises to God, to our family, and to ourselves," Dr. Jackson explains, offering a safeguard against the moral ditches that threaten us all.Join this important conversation that balances grace with truth, organizational responsibility with individual response, and righteous judgment with humble self-awareness. The fascinating connections he draws illuminate why Adam lived until Noah's father was 56 years old, creating an unbroken chain of firsthand spiritual testimony spanning nearly 1,700 years before the flood.Beyond historical curiosity, this episode challenges parents and grandparents to recognize their sacred responsibility as spiritual teachers. Dr. Robert Jackson opens his heart in this powerful episode, revealing his own journey from perfect church attendance to perfect stranger with God.Drawing from Genesis 4:23-26, Dr. Papa contrasts two spiritual paths: "the way of Cain" marked by pride, self-justification, and moral decline, and the lineage of Seth who "began to call upon the name of the Lord." With scholarly insight, he examines Lamech's boastful ballad—the first recorded song in history—which exemplifies the increasing wickedness that eventually led to the flood. The most compelling moment comes when Dr. Jackson vulnerably shares his spiritual awakening at age 19. Despite years of religious activities, his first attempt at personal devotion lasted only seven minutes, revealing an uncomfortable truth: "I didn't even know how to talk to God." This confession speaks to anyone who's felt the hollow echo of religious motions without relationship. His persistence transformed a seven-minute awkward encounter into what has now become 45 years of rich communion with God.Dr. Jackson draws a striking parallel between ancient moral decline and our current cultural climate: "A virtuous people need very little government; an immoral people need lots of laws." Rather than increased external controls, he suggests America needs spiritual revival—internal transformation that produces external change. Are you giving lip service to faith or genuinely calling on the Lord? Send us a textThe heartbreaking story of Grace Schara, a vibrant 19-year-old with Down syndrome who died in the hospital during COVID treatment, serves as a powerful warning about medical autonomy and family rights during healthcare crises. Rebecca Terrell from the New American joins Dr. Robert Jackson to unpack this tragic case that exposes the darker side of pandemic-era hospital protocols.Grace was exceptional - she played violin, rode horses, and brought immeasurable joy to everyone she met, including Priscilla Presley who became her pen pal after a chance meeting at Graceland. When Grace developed COVID symptoms, her father Scott monitored her at home following alternative treatment protocols. After her oxygen levels dipped, he took her to the hospital where she walked in under her own power - a detail that contradicts the narrative of critical illness. What followed represents the dangerous collision between family advocacy and institutional protocols. The hospital administered sedatives that Grace repeatedly reacted poorly to, placed a DNR order without family consent, and ultimately removed Scott from the hospital when he questioned their approach. Despite Scott's refusal to pre-authorize certain treatments based on his research, the hospital proceeded with their COVID protocols while failing to provide proper nutrition. The conversation broadens to connect Grace's case with a troubling pattern of medical whistleblowers facing retaliation. Terrell shares the story of a California nurse currently suing her hospital after exposing a 400% increase in stillbirths since 2021 - information the hospital attempted to suppress rather than investigate. This nurse was demoted for providing informed consent about vaccination risks to new mothers, highlighting how financial incentives can compromise patient care.Despite spending over a million dollars on legal fees only to lose in court, Scott Shara maintains remarkable faith, viewing himself as "a tool that our Lord uses" to expose truth regardless of the outcome. His response offers a profound example of faith-based resilience in the face of devastating loss and institutional resistance. This episode serves as a crucial reminder of why patient advocacy matters and how quickly rights can be overridden during crises. Learn about Joe Tippin, the sole survivor in a lung cancer study who credits mebendazole—an inexpensive anti-parasitic medication—for his recovery. Perhaps most striking is the case of a terminal gallbladder cancer patient told to "get his affairs in order" who showed no evidence of disease after taking ivermectin, mebendazole, and vitamin D3.While acknowledging the limitations of anecdotal evidence, Dr. Jackson examines emerging clinical data supporting these approaches. The CUSP9 study using nine repurposed drugs showed 30% of glioblastoma patients disease-free after four years—dramatically better than the 5-10% typical with standard care. The METRICS study achieved 64% two-year survival in advanced glioblastoma using four common medications repurposed for cancer treatment.Dr. Jackson doesn't just talk the talk. When facing a suspected kidney cancer diagnosis himself, he immediately started taking mebendazole while awaiting surgery. "What have you got to lose?" he asks, noting these medications provide an affordable margin of safety alongside conventional treatments. Are pharmaceutical companies avoiding research into these approaches because there's no profit in off-patent medications? Send us a textA monumental clash between religious liberty and medical authority erupted last week when the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommended eliminating all religious exemptions for vaccines required for school attendance. Dr. Robert Jackson and his daughter Hannah Miller dive deep into why this recommendation represents a dangerous overreach that threatens fundamental constitutional rights. The conversation opens with a crucial revelation: the AAP holds absolutely no legal authority. Despite its official-sounding name, it's merely a private membership organization that receives substantial funding from pharmaceutical companies manufacturing vaccines. This glaring conflict of interest explains why the organization would push to eliminate exemptions that represent financial losses to pediatric practices nationwide.Religious freedom stands as the foundation of all American liberties, protected explicitly by the First Amendment and reinforced by the Civil Rights Act of 1964. When schools or employers attempt to override religious exemptions for vaccines, they engage in illegal discrimination. Dr. Jackson emphasizes that religious beliefs are deeply personal and require no validation from religious leaders or institutions—your "sincerely held religious conviction" is legally sufficient and beyond question. The episode offers practical, empowering guidance for parents facing institutional pressure. With remarkable clarity, Dr. Jackson outlines a respectful yet firm approach to assert your rights: request to see anti-discrimination policies, ask about exemption committee members' training in non-discrimination law, and even request religious statements from those judging your exemption. These simple steps typically resolve issues without legal intervention.Perhaps most chilling is the historical context provided through Benjamin Rush's prophetic warning that without constitutional protection for medical freedom, medicine would organize into "an undercover dictatorship." As medical bureaucracies increasingly limit individual choice, we're witnessing the very scenario the founding father feared.Stand firm in defense of your constitutional rights while navigating vaccine requirements. Whether you're a parent facing school registration challenges or an employee dealing with workplace mandates, this episode equips you with the knowledge to protect your religious liberty and medical autonomy.Support the showhttps://www.jacksonfamilyministry.comhttps://bobslone.com/home/podcast-production/

On Wednesday's Mark Levin Show, the war against President Trump has not stopped. We can't let our guard down; he still has a whole bunch of cabinet nominees that have not yet been confirmed. Trump should get the people he wants, but the Democrats will try and stop all of them. The Democrat Party rejects the Judeo-Christian principles upon which this nation was founded; they promote the ideas of the Marxist. The Democrat Party hasn't changed, and they won't because it is an anti-American ideological operation. Later, the DOJ is said to be discussing dropping the case against NY Mayor Eric Adams. This was a petty case from the beginning. Robert Jackson once said it's dangerous when you have prosecutors who focus on the man and not the law. They are the most dangerous people in any society because they have the power to indict with a grand jury. Afterward, Trump signed the Laken Riley Act and Trump announced up to 30,000 illegal immigrants will be sent to Guantanamo Bay. Finally, Professor Steven Calabresi calls in to discuss his new book, The Meese Revolution: The Making of a Constitutional Moment. The Meese Revolution is about the former attorney general's brilliant and courageous revolution to reinstitute the Constitution in our legal and justice system. https://www.amazon.com/Meese-Revolution-Making-Constitutional-Moment/dp/1641774290/ Learn more about your ad choices.
