Episode Title: Unlocking Success with Sayem Khan – The Power of Self-Investment and Adaptation Guest: Sayem Khan Host: Ambassador Elisha --- Episode Summary: In this powerful and insightful episode, Ambassador Elisha sits down with Sayem Khan, a dynamic entrepreneur and business strategist who has mastered the art of reinvention. From moving to Canada with just $1,000 in his pocket to building a thriving business, Sayem shares his incredible journey of perseverance, adaptability, and personal growth. Elisha kicks off the conversation with a compelling analogy of a mango tree—symbolizing the transformation that comes from investing in oneself. This sets the tone for an inspiring discussion on resilience, self-improvement, and the importance of chasing personal growth over money. Sayem opens up about his transition from a pharmacist in Bangladesh to an entrepreneur in Canada, detailing the risks he took, the sacrifices he made, and the lessons he learned. He walks us through his early struggles, from working multiple jobs—including door-to-door sales—to finding his passion in helping coaches and course creators expand their impact. He also reveals the highs and lows of his entrepreneurial journey, including how he built a successful Amazon business that made over $50,000 in a month—only to have it collapse during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sayem's ability to pivot and rebuild highlights the mindset necessary to thrive in today's fast-changing world. --- Key Takeaways: ✔ The Power of Self-Investment: How personal growth leads to success. ✔ Overcoming Fear of Change: Why Sayem chose to leave behind his old identity and embrace a new life. ✔ Chasing Impact, Not Money: The surprising key to long-term success. ✔ Surviving Setbacks: How Sayem navigated the collapse of his business during COVID. ✔ Building a Purpose-Driven Business: Helping others amplify their message for greater impact. --- Why You Should Listen: If you're feeling stuck, questioning your next step, or wondering how to turn your struggles into success, this episode is for you. Sayem's journey is proof that transformation is possible when you commit to personal growth and remain adaptable. Don't miss this powerful conversation filled with wisdom, real-life lessons, and actionable insights! ---
This is an episode of two parts. The main episode was recorded in September 2023, as my guest, 24-year-old medical doctor Mohammed Seyam was excitedly packing to move from his home in Gaza to London, to start a masters degree in Global Healthcare Management.Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at the age of 11, Moe is a global diabetes advocate and educator. We spoke about the incredible work he's done to change not only the cultural perception and stigma of type 1 diabetes, but to help the world live a better life with diabetes. This included playing an instrumental part in creating policy change that provided everyone living with type 1 diabetes in Palestine access to insulin pens.We discussed Moe's life growing up in the Gaza Strip, his family, his siblings, his joyful Zoom background full of the faces of diabetes. Moe spoke about how this work to change people's lives through advocacy has shaped his professional goals - away from clinical medicine and towards policy making - to ensure changes that he makes are not only sustainable in the long-term, but are beneficial to as many people as possible.Just weeks after we recorded, a humanitarian catastrophe began to unfold in Gaza, and as of December 2023, millions of people are displaced without access to basic needs. It would have been remiss to publish the episode in its original form, and Moe joined me again this week to ensure that the voices of those living with type 1 diabetes in Palestine are heard, particularly at this time of crisis. He speaks at the beginning of this episode four months after we originally recorded to highlight the current issues facing the people of Gaza, particularly those living with type 1 diabetes, before the original episode is played in full. This is an ongoing, developing situation, everything stated here is as of December 2023.Thanks to Moe for his time, courage, and unwavering commitment to improving the lives of others living with type 1 diabetes.CONNECT WITH MOE:Follow Moe on InstagramHUMANITARIAN ORGANISATIONS YOU MAY WISH TO SUPPORT:Life For A ChildUnicefThe British Red Cross AppealUNRWA (UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine)

Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny and Feven, joined by special guests Niru and Sayem, share their thoughts on the recently concluded Dutch Grand Prix. This race did not disappoint at all! With a bit of help from Mother Nature, we got to see every team get tested for their efficiency and strategic prowess. For Max Verstappen, you can throw any obstacles at him, and he continues to have dominant wins. He tied Sebastian Vettlel's nine wins in a row this week and will be hunting for the record-breaking 10th win next week. What looked like it would be a strong weekend for both McLaren and Mercedes was filled with strategic mistakes, wrong setups, and race incidents. Albon and the Williams team were a massive surprise to many, finishing P4 in qualifying and P8 in the race. Only time will tell on the growth Williams can have under the leadership of James Vowles. We were all disappointed to see Daniel Ricciardo miss out on this race and potentially a few more after his accident in FP2, but Liam Lawson rose to the occasion and performed well for a rookie with limited time on the track. With Monza right around the corner, do we anticipate Max Verstappen breaking the record, or will we see another drive sneak up and steal the win in what's expected to be another rainy with a mix of sunshine race day?Thank you to Wall Wings for sending us a custom Track Limits front wing. Right. Persona 5's been out a while, and Nier: Automata and Breath of the Wild, too. So for this episode of the UK podcast, Kate Gray and Sayem Ahmed are, alongside the regular nasal noise of Mike discussing as many pros and cons about those games as is possible in about an hour and a quarter. There are so many spoilers in this podcast, seriously guys, so many spoilers. So if you don't want spoilers, for any of the above games, go and listen to something else. Sayem, alas, can't join us “in the studio”, so do forgive the audio quality on his Skype call. But as the man who interviewed the directors of both Persona 5 and Nier: Automata for Waypoint, he's absolutely the right dude to be talking about these awesome games, right now. Kate, meanwhile, has plenty to say about Zelda. As do I (and yes, I have a bit of a cold), especially on its unexpected really dark side. And there's more besides! We address some... Hosted on Acast.
