Locked On Ole Miss - Daily podcast on Ole Miss Rebels Football, Basketball & Baseball
On today's Locked on Ole Miss podcast we talk about the three freshmen that seem poised to breakout for Lane Kiffin and company. Some might be somewhat obvious selections like Davison Igbinosun but we wanted to go with three players. I won't name the other two so you will be surprised. We also look at offensive side of the field to talk about a personal favorite player of mine. I have compared him to TJ Yeldon and he has a chance to be pretty special for the Ole Miss Rebels and Charlie Weiss Jr. Finally, we talk to Bill Flowers as camp is getting ready to start about what he wants to see. SummaryOn this episode of The Most Accurate Podcast, Chris Allen joins Greg Smith to parse through the Week 4 Waiver Wire. They begin by discussing how to navigate bye weeks, as well as how to adjust your waiver approach after you've spent most of your FAAB. Then it's on to the various positions, beginning with running backs before moving on to wide receivers, tight ends, quarterbacks, and team defenses. How will James White's return impact Rex Burkhead's fantasy value? What percentage of your remaining FAAB is Wayne Gallman worth? Which handcuff-type running backs have the most value off waivers? Would Deon Cain or Parris Campbell be the primary beneficiary if T.Y. Hilton misses time? Why isn't Kenny Stills owned in more leagues? Does Auden Tate matter? How about Demetrius Harris and Dawson Knox? How are we applying the small amount on data we have on newly appointed starting quarterbacks to our Week 4 waiver decisions? After your hosts sort through all these topics and more, they wrap up the show with suggestions for players to drop and some position-agnostic waiver rankings of players with the most raw value in a vacuum. The show is brought to you by FantasyDraft. SummaryOn this episode of The Most Accurate Podcast, Josh ADHD joins Greg Smith to work the Week 3 waiver wire. Their first task is to react to Week 3's injuries and look at backup players as potential pick-ups. From there, your hosts go through all their other key waiver targets for the week, starting with shallow and more obvious players, then going deeper toward lesser-owned players on the outskirts of consideration. The show wraps up with a tougher conversation about which likely-rostered players might be worth dropping, including a hot take from Josh on a player who was highly coveted in drafts. The show is brought to you by FantasyDraft. In this episode, we discuss first preseason game between the Bills and the Colts this past Thursday-- the offense, Josh Allen, the defense (Ed Oliver vs Quenton Nelson), special teams, the running back situation (Devin Singletary aka "De'Veon Singletary", TJ Yeldon, Senorise Perry, Christian Wade) and their possible outlook. We also talk about the trade between the Bills and Eagles for OL Ryan Gates, the many moves that have happened today including the placement of EJ Gaines on IR, and the signing of several players including CB Captain Munnerlyn, But before all of that, we interview recording artist Dom Brown (@DomBrown___) that created a 2018 Bills Anthem last season (that we played on our podcast), and is debuting his brand new 2019 Bills Anthem here in this episode. Dom just opened for Nelly this past weekend at Canalside. We go over the entire Bills schedule with Dom go see which “significant games” are worthy of the new Anthem. Then we play the 2018 Anthem for the last time and preview the 2019 Anthem for the entire world in this episode. We also give a quick anecdote about getting tickets to the Bills/Pats game on 9/29 and finding out that we have a wedding to go to that day. Seriously, who has a wedding on a Sunday in September? We describe all of that and get some great advice from Bills Twitter. Go Bills! Additional players discussed: Cody Ford, Cole Beasley, Stephen Hauschka. Summary Pat Fitzmaurice joins Greg Smith on this episode and they dig into the process that made Pat's fantasy football rankings so successful last season (5:23). From there, Greg grills Pat on players he has ranked significantly higher or lower than ADP, going from running backs (17:17) to wide receivers (26:49), then quarterbacks (46:07) and tight ends (54:46). The back-half of the show is one last deep dive into this year's Scott Fish Bowl (1:00:22), and it's interesting to add Pat's perspective because both he and Greg drafted from the sixth pick, but to very different results. After a quick discussion on the politics and etiquette of slow drafts like the SFB and some general strategy talk from Pat, your hosts finish out the show with a boxing-style accounting of who won each round drafting from the 1.06 spot. Episode 6 - Free Agent Frenzy Part 2 - PAGING TJ YELDON by Luke Bugoni & Sam Factor
Sonic Truth Fantasy Football Podcast, Ep 87: The Podfather Matt Kelley (@Fantasy_Mansion) and Nate Liss (@AnOutragedJew) explain why Kelvin Harmon is a top prospect in this WR class. Le’Veon Bell is now 260 pounds. Ruh-roh. Zay Jones vs. Robert Foster: Who you got? Age-agnostic fantasy gamers must love Larry Fitzgerald but Christian Kirk is a better dynasty value. 10 favorite dynasty buys: Dalvin Cook, Jaylen Samuels, Devonta Freeman, Rod Smith, TJ Yeldon, Ito Smith, Chris Thompson, Curtis Samuel, Sterling Shepard, Will Fuller & Keke Coutee, Marvin Jones, Dede Westbrook & Keelan Cole, Trey Quinn, Sam Darnold, OJ Howard, Ian Thomas Colin Kaepernick is the ultimate looking glass figure. Riley Ridley fanatics practice cognitive dissonance. Bennie Snell has ideal size and age-adjusted production. James Williams is the greatest college satellite back of all time. Alex Barnes was not dominant enough at an early age. Austin Walter could be the next Phillip Lindsay. Kelvin Harmon is a future friend of the show. Hakeem Butler could be the next Darren Waller. Antoine Wesley's production blotted out the sun in his final year, but he’s super svelte. Emmanuel Butler is the small school wide receiver who checks all the boxes. What more does Ashton Dulin have to do to gain respect? Juston Christian deserved a combine invite. In the Week 13 Edition of the NFL DFS from Down Under Podcast, Dr Data joins Josh Wye to celebrate a successful Week 12 that could have been even better if Leonard Fournette didn’t get ejected for throwing a punch at a player wearing a helmet. The guys start the podcast spruiking a Week 13 slate that features half a dozen games with 50 or more expected points (according to the Vegas lines) and the variety of line up options that brings. Darryl, in particular, mentions the insane amount of options the Fantasy Insider Line-up Cruncher produced for him. Throughout the season, the guys have talked about game script in fantasy and how it can affect your mindset in selecting certain players. If you see a certain game going one way it will suit the running backs on one team and then the receivers on the other or vice versa. This week a good example is TJ Yeldon, both Darryl & Wye have him listed as a value play this week given the game script for the Jaguars hosting the Colts. With Fournette out and the Colts likely putting up some points, the game script should suit Yeldon more with Cody Kessler at quarterback than Carlos Hyde. Last week, both the boys had a common play at receiver in Danny Amendola. Unfortunately for Amendola (and the podcast), he sustained an injury earlier in the game and failed to give adequate return on investment. This week, both Darryl & Wye love the upside of Corey Davis against the Jets. The Titans are 7 point favourites at home and Davis has been a target machine of late and has really exploded in games that Mariota has completed from start to finish. In those games, Davis is averaging 19.3 PPR points per game. Chase Daniel, Case Keenum, Austin Ekeler, Aaron Jones, Brandin Cooks, Adam Thielen, DaVante Parker, Eric Ebron and the Chiefs defense are all discussed at length as good or potential plays this week. To hear all of the boys thoughts on this Week, check out the podcast!
It is the last week of the fantasy football regular season, and there is plenty of news to cover. Austin Ekeler shoots into top 12 RB status. With Leonard Fournette suspended, what should you do with TJ Yeldon and Carlos Hyde? Plus small school phenom David Moore, and Ray tells you everything you need to know about Aliens.
Things get heated when we discuss the Jaguars backfield. No one should care about this, but we do! Listen in when we discuss some of the biggest news in the NFL and guess who will win in Week 8.

¿Doug Martin o Jalen Richard?

Pick up Nick Chubb in all formats. Must add. Duke Johnson also an add in PPR formats in case he gets more early down work mixed in with his passing down role. Not a good sign for Fournette coming back anytime soon. Also not a good sign for TJ Yeldon holding down the fort
Scott Engel and Dane Martinez open the program looking at the standings in the AFC North, thinking the Ravens have quietly become the class of the division, the Bengals still look strong even after a loss, and will not count out the Steelers. The Ravens shut out the Titans to stay atop the AFC North, and they question whether Marcus Mariota has any fantasy appeal for a Titans team that was suppose to be one of the more intriguing options for fantasy lineups with Dion Lewis, Corey Davis, and Derrick Henry. Scott thinks he has a new way of streaming defenses, citing how he used the DailyRoto Optimizer to pick the Jets, who got him 13 points in one league. They also talked about their disbelief of the Cowboys throttling Jaguars' NFL-best defense, with the guys questioning if there is anyone on the Jacksonville offense worthy of starting every week outside of TJ Yeldon. #FNTSY #NFL #fantasyfootball #AFCNorth #Steelers #Ravens #JoeFlacco #DailyRoto #Optimizer #Jets #Cowboys #Jaguars Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers

Dane Martinez and Scott Engel open the morning talking about how TJ Yeldon will be a solid RB1 while he holds on to the Jaguars' starting running back job. The guys look at some other running backs to target in waivers, including Mike Davis, and also question the values for the Jets' backfield of Bilal Powell and Isaiah Crowell. Dane goes back to a poll question from Fantasy Freestyle asking which teams with ties (Packers, Vikings, Steelers, Browns) have the best chance of making a run for the playoffs. #FNTSY #NFL #fantasyfootball #Week6 #Waivers #RunningBacks #Packers #Vikings #Steelers #Browns #TJYeldon #MikeDavis #IsaiahCrowell #BilalPowell #TylerLockett Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers
In Episode 5 of NFL DFS from Down Under, Dr Data joins Woot and Wye to discuss the Week 5 NFL DFS Slate. Week 5 features plenty of games with high Vegas totals with one game in particular with a staggering total nearly 60 points. The three then talk about the various triple-stacking options in that game. The Fantasy Insider Lineup Cruncher also likes some stacking options outside of that game including Blake Bortles, but then question left to be answered is what Wide Receiver to pair with Bortles? Woot and Wye also recommended a Rodgers/Adams stack in what they expect to be a high scoring affair when the Packers face the Lions. One name that kept popping up through the podcast was Sony Michel, who projects as a great play on all platforms this week. Woot and Wye highlighted that his touches have increased greatly week to week and that New England has averaged 177.6 rushing yards a game across their last five against Indianapolis. Andy Dalton, TJ Yeldon, David Johnson, Christian McCaffrey, Emmanuel Sanders, Keke Coutee, David Njoku, Geoff Swaim and the Titans defense are all discussed at length as good or potential plays this week. To hear all of the boys thoughts on this Week, check out the podcast below.

Dane Martinez and Scott Engel open the program looking at some of the latest news and injury notes as we head in to the first game of Week 2 tonight. Dane tries to make excuses for the Titans, citing bad weather, bad special teams, and Marcus Mariota getting injured; Scott thinks it's not an excuse, and Tennessee is not that great. Talking about the injury to Leonard Fournette, the guys question the fantasy value for his handcuff, TJ Yeldon. Dane questions if Scott is fogged by his love for the Seahawks by ranking Russell Wilson as the top fantasy QB this week, and Scott defends his pick, saying Wilson has a great matchup against a weaker secondary in Chicago. #FNTSY #NFL #fantasyfootball #Week2 #ADP #Ravens #Bengals #TNF #TJYeldon #LeonardFournette #Titans #MarcusMariota #DionLewis #RussellWilson #DeShaunWatson Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers
