Kara has returned from the Phantom Zone.  It is a place where despair reigns supreme and time doesn't advance.  Lena designed a yellow sun bomb to reinvigorate her best friend and break her out of that dark, hopeless place. Supergirl is home but the Phantom Zone still haunts her. Alex will not leave her side.  They are stronger together.  As an unstoppable force they will take on whatever National City has to face next. Andrea is irritated that Kara did not come back to work with a big story.  Catco is falling behind the other news outlets and Ms. Rojas is desperate to get back on top. As Acrata she uses her shadow power to get a lead on Supergirl. If she can report on not only the Maid of Steel but her team as well that could put Catco back in the top spot. The Superfriends would be a great cover story. Kara has always been able to talk to Supergirl so Andrea puts her on the case. When Kara reads about the phantoms her team had to deal with in her absence her blood runs cold. Uncle Archie aka Zor-El is adjusting to life under a yellow sun. He is interested in learning what his daughter has been doing here on Earth. He flies with her to put out a garbage fire before it can become an ecological disaster. Zor-El is concerned because death of the oceans is what spelled doom for Krypton. Kara shows her father the fortress. That is where he develops an idea to modify Kalex to dispose of trash in a nontoxic way. The plan seems successful at first.  Then the power core in the droid malfunctions causing the trash to not disappear but pile onto itself. This causes a giant being made of rubbish to form and threaten the city. The team must work together using their various strengths to vanquish “Bad Trash”.  Zor-El decides it is time to head to Argo City to face Allura. Lena wants to go home and explore her roots on her mother's side.  Kara and Alex return to the couch for some dinner and some wine. Alex reiterates to Kara that she will be with her every step of the way as she deals with the trauma caused by the Phantom Zone. Stronger together! Always and forever! This is the strength they will draw on as Nia is awakened by a dream of Nyxly. A maiden sure to cause some mischief as our story continues…

BIO: Kara Goldin is the Founder and CEO of Hint, Inc., best known for its award-winning Hint water, the leading unsweetened flavored water. STORY: When Kara started her beverage business, she had zero experience in the industry. So she figured hiring people with impressive experience in the big beverage companies would help her business. Instead, they didn't understand her vision, and thus there was no return on her vast investment. LEARNING: When hiring, don't be blinded by executives in big companies; they may not have the experience needed to run a startup.   “Trust your gut, fire fast, and hire slow.”Kara Goldin  Guest profilehttps://www.linkedin.com/in/karagoldin/ (Kara Goldin) is the Founder and CEO of https://www.drinkhint.com/ (Hint, Inc)., best known for its award-winning Hint water, the leading unsweetened flavored water. She has received numerous accolades, including being named EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2017 Northern California and one of InStyle's 2019 Badass 50. Previously, Kara was VP of Shopping Partnerships at America Online. She hosts the podcast https://karagoldin.com/podcast/ (The Kara Goldin Show). Her first book, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1400220289/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=1400220289&linkCode=as2&tag=karagoldin0e-20&linkId=ab4a4bb5772ae5154fb5288b1aaa9db0 (Undaunted: Overcoming Doubts and Doubters), was released October 2020 and is now a WSJ and Amazon Best Seller. Kara lives in the Bay Area with her family. Worst investment everWhen Kara started her beverage company, Hint, she came from a tech background and had never worked in the beverage industry. She didn't know anything about the industry other than the fact that she drank beverages. Before that, she had never dreamt of being an entrepreneur. When Kara launched her product on the shelf at Whole Foods, she decided to get industry experts to help get her off the right start. She did everything she could to find executives from Coke, Pepsi, and other big soda companies. Finding such people cost a lot of money. Taking the approach to work with people in the big companies was Kara's worst investment. The core of Kara's product started from a problem that she was solving for herself, so she created her solution. Unfortunately, the industry experts that were out there that Kara so wanted all her answers from didn't understand the mission and the purpose behind the product. After spending a lot of money trying to get the so-called experts to help her push her product, Kara realized that the playbook they had gone through within these large companies was not the same playbook that she needed for her startup. She decided to stop looking for answers from the big companies, and instead, she believed in herself and found the solutions on her own. Lessons learnedBe careful when hiring big shots from very successful companies because they may not be able to handle the challenges of a startup. Curiosity, the ability to go out and try, and think outside the box are more valuable in an employee than experience. Hire slow and fire fast. Believe in yourself and have the confidence to find the answers you need to run a successful startup. You don't have to rely on other people entirely. Andrew's takeawaysWhen hiring people from the big business world, remember they may not have the experience of working in the small business world, so they may not be the right fit for you. Be careful of A-students because sometimes the skills required to get A's in school are the exact opposite skills needed to succeed in business. No. 1 goal for the next 12 monthsKara's number one goal for the next 12 months is to push her new product line that focuses on getting people to get healthy. Parting words  “Find those lessons out there that you can learn from and move forward.”Kara Goldin  [spp-transcript]   Connect with Kara Goldinhttps://www.linkedin.com/in/karagoldin/...

Nicole kicks of the new year, interviewing the celebrated entrepreneur Kara Goldin, Founder and CEO of Hint Inc, the lifestyle company "committed to making it easy and enjoyable for consumers to live a healthy life." Known for producing the leading unsweetened flavored water, offerings have expanded with the recent launch of hint sunscreen. Kara is also an author, a motivational speaker, a podcaster, a mother and much more. Kara's journey was anything but uncomplicated, detailed in her 2020 breakout book "Undaunted: Overcoming Doubts and Doubters", which has landed on the Wallstreet Journal and the Amazon Bestsellers List, profiled by Nasdaq and receiving many more acolades. In "Undaunted", Kara though no stranger to success, details how she found herself a determined but "accidental entrepreneur" - an outsider to the beverage industry, new to raising venture capital, and selling an approach well outside the norm with consumer products. In discussion with Nicole, Kara shares her story and insights of her entrepreneurial journey for good. Already a respected Tech Executive, most recently with America Online, where she built the e-commerce and shopping partnerships, Kara became passionate about her business concept for Hint after her fourth child was born, and finding that as much as she tried with diet, lifestyle and exercise, her health was actually in serious and undiagnosed decline. In a moment of last resort, Kara decided to replace her Diet Coke habit with something else. The problem being Kara didn't like drinking plain water and in searching for a healthy and natural diest soda alternative she realized it didn't exist. Kara started adding fruit in water and two weeks cold-turkey from Diet Coke, she was on the road to recovery and the idea for Hint, Inc. was born.  When Kara started Hint, consumers and investors were not yet talking about purpose-led for-profit companies, but Kara knew that she could provide not only a consumable product that customers wanted, but provide a product they didn't yet know they needed in the pursuit of a better life, not just momentary satisfaction.  Market and purpose identified, Kara discusses setting out to make Hint exist for the masses, but discovering the difficulty of trying to launch a product with no experience or connections in the beverage industry despite what she knew she could achieve and a solid reputation. She shares how she stayed resolute, despite no easy path to bringing Hint to consumers and many more challenges as the company became established, including a life-changing disaster turned all-important discovery in her partnership with Starbucks. Out of doubt and disaster: triumph.  Kara, wildly successful with Hint, still encountered challenges in sharing her story in "Undaunted", limited by unfounded concerns that the book would only sell to other female entrepreneurs - a too-niche market, sadly. Once again Kara's instinct proved right hearing from many men (and women) about the life-limiting doubts and doubters shaping their experiences, and how her story inspired them to keep going. Looking ahead, Kara shares many insights on how the events of 2020 are reshaping what it means to achieve healthier ways of living, and how Hint is thinking about serving that greater purpose. Nicole also asks Kara to share some thoughts and advice for listeners, as well as goals she has set herself for 2021 - the year we've all been waiting for!  Listen and embrace "Undaunted" as your inspiration for 2021! Kara Goldin is the Founder and CEO of Hint Water, author, podcaster, wife and mom of 4. She refers to herself as an accidental entrepreneur because after having a career at Time Inc, CNN, and AOL, Kara found herself focusing on her health as a mom and that’s when Hint Water was created. Kara hosts the podcast “The Kara Goldin Show” (previously Unstoppable), where she converses with Founders, Disruptors, and other notable people she refers to as Unstoppable Guests.  Today, Kara’s book Undaunted: Overcoming Doubt and Doubters, launches and I was fortunate enough to read it prior to our conversation. In her book, she takes us along the journey of how she got to today while daring to be undaunted. It’s definitely a must-read and unlike any kind of entrepreneurial book I’ve read! Grab a bottle of Hint and join us as Kara shares a hint of her history. You will love how relatable her story is and her friendly conversational style as she shares her journey with us. Let's discover how Kara followed her passion and purpose to become an entrepreneur!  What we're talking about Kara’s Journey From Corporate To Entrepreneur The Launch Of Hint Water Kara’s Entrepreneurial Journey  Kara’s Journey From Corporate To Entrepreneur Before her entrepreneurial journey started, Kara worked in media for TIME and CNN. She mentions that she was inspired by Steve Jobs’ ideas of making shopping easier for people. She decided to pick up the phone and call the CEO of 2Market, the e-commerce CD-ROM company that was behind the beginning of online shopping for AOL because she wanted to learn more. Kara ended up ultimately working at AOL  running their e-commerce and shopping partnerships. Luckily for us, Kara played a significant role in pioneering the online shopping movement. Kara refers to herself as an accidental entrepreneur. She bundled all of her career experiences with her health issues, weight gain, developing adult acne, and raising young kids to create a business that ultimately is her purpose and passion...a water that is changing the lives and health of others. The Launch Of Hint Water After leaving AOL, Kara was feeling the desire to focus on getting healthy.  She had been reading the labels of the food she consumed, but she hadn’t paid attention to the beverage labels.  Drinking numerous cans of diet soda every day, Kara was shocked to see that “diet” didn’t mean healthy. She started drinking water but became bored with the flavor, so she started adding fruit to it.  After seeing the changes in her body and having friends gush over how delicious her fruit water was, she started looking for this type of product in stores, but couldn’t find it anywhere.  Kara decided it was time to bring her flavored water to the world. During her 4th pregnancy, she spent the time developing and learning in order to get the company off the ground. On the day that Kara gave birth to her fourth child, she stopped at Whole Foods on the way and landed Hint Water on the shelves! From Day One, they were getting emails from satisfied customers praising the product and how it changed their lives. This feedback was incredibly powerful and continues as they have evolved and  created new products like deodorant and sunscreen. Kara’s Entrepreneurial Journey Growing up, Kara was exposed to several entrepreneurial influences in her life. Her dad created Healthy Choice dinners while employed at Armco Foods (now ConAgra). When Kara’s mom decided to follow her love of fashion and retail, Kara’s dad became responsible for feeding her and her siblings dinner. He quickly realized that the TV dinners from the frozen section were pretty bland and he knew he had to create something healthy, tasty and that his company could do it. Kara’s dad worked with famed chef, Julia Child to create Healthy Choices! Kara's older brother was constantly looking for ways to make money to pay for school while earning his law degree and would fix cars and paint houses. She describes her childhood self as being curious and that trait is still apparent today. Kara believed that she should be learning from all different people along the way and to not rely on just one person to give you information. Through building her business, Kara has managed to learn a ton about water. She is on a mission to improve drinking water standards nationwide. She is currently working with Congresswoman Jackie Speier from California to get a Bill in front of Congress to clean up our water supply.  This Bill will put pressure on every State and the EPA to classify PFAS as a dangerous substance. Doing so will force the States to measure the levels in the water. Kara mentions that as a child athlete, she picked up a lot of life lessons. She has been able to apply those skills in tackling significant challenging issues that she’s encountered on her journey. Kara shows us that you can change your future by doing whatever you put your mind to. You have the power to follow whatever brings you purpose or are passionate about in your life. It is the day that Lex has been waiting for.  He got his invitation to the Leviathan ship. He doesn’t have to take down Supergirl himself.  He can put the job in the hands of gods that are indestructible. Lex has given them the knowledge and the tools they need. He only has to sit back and enjoy the show. Kara texts Alex 911 and assembles the team to rush to her side. Lena is not the threat here. Hopefully there will be time to talk more later about the events and choices that damaged their friendship. There is no time to talk about the past when the future is so uncertain. All the super friends must work together before these element wielding immortals destroy this world. Kara cannot join the fight until the new suit is finished to protect her from the kryptonite that Rama Khan stole from the DEO. Luckily Alex has a new suit and has mastered the Martian weapon that J’onn has given her. Agent Dox cannot sit around and let Lex Luthor hurt his friends. He must get on the Leviathan ship and upload the mortality code before his friends are destroyed. Getting on the ship is the easy part but the ship has a radiation force field protecting it from intruders.  Agent Dox will not destroy Leviathan but trap them in a bottle where they will not be able to harm anyone ever again.  Agent Dox is determined to finish this mission even  if it is the last thing that he ever does. He collapses under the effects of the radiation. J’onn and M’gann use their shape shifting abilities to impersonate Supergirl in the hopes of giving Lena and Kara enough time to make it across town.  The rest of the team is battling their hardest. Dreamer continues to have dreams of Brainy. She must fight on.  She cannot afford to be distracted right now.    Kelly and Alex break into Obsidian's server room.  They need to create a backdoor for Supergirl to enter the virtual reality platform. They also need a lead on William. He was chasing down a story about Lex and no one has heard from him since. Kelly finds Eve Tessmacher’s IP address. Maybe if they find her they will find William.  When Kara finds out William is in danger she rushes to the scene with no concern for her own safety.  Thank goodness Lena is watching her back with a new protective suit. Gemma is angry when three gods fail to take down Supergirl but she has a back up plan. She tells Andrea to harness the power of shadows and assassinate the superhero. Supergirl’s body will be vulnerable as her mind is engaged in the virtual world urging people to end the simulation before it is too late.  Before the Goddess of Technology snaps her fingers and kills them all.  Lena builds walls around herself when she is hurt.  She has to put the past in the past. When they were young Andrea and Lena made a promise to each other. “When you jump I Jump”. Lena has to stand between Andrea and Supergirl now.  She doesn’t want Andrea to go down a dark path. She has seen what those consequences can lead to.  Yes Kara hurt Lena but in her heart Kara made that choice to keep Lena safe. Now Lena will protect Kara. Lena began her journey this season to do no harm. Now she is taking action to stand between and protect both of her friends.  Agent Dox did it. He trapped the bad guys in a bottle. Now he is alone and dying.  Lex Luthor had a back up plan for Agent Dox’s moral code.  He is going to take down Supergirl and his mother is going to help him. Lena will do all she can to protect Supergirl and her team from the evil geniuses that share her name. Family is more than blood and Supergirl and her team are her family now.   This is your eye in the sky the Green Butterfly. Stay safe and have a super summer.

If you can dream it, then you can do it! With Obsidian virtual reality contact lenses your imagination is the limit. Join nine million of your closest friends in an adventure with no limits. We have learned that here in National City seeing can be deceiving. Losing your grip on reality can be dangerous. What if someone takes control of your virtual world? What if someone turns your dream into a nightmare? William is still tirelessly investigating Andrea. Kara wants to help. He is very resistant. This is a dangerous business and he is afraid to get Kara wrapped up in it. He doesn’t realize the Girl of Steel can handle herself. Strength alone will not save her. They are not dealing with just physical harm here. William speaks of the emotional and personal cost he has had to pay to chase down this story. William’s best friend Russ is gone and Andrea Rojas has something to do with it. Together William and Kara will get to the bottom of this story. Alex is interrogating Breath Taker with the help of a truth seeker. Unfortunately answers are not forthcoming. It seems these Villains are accomplishing task without knowing the details of who they are working for. Brainy comes up with a plan to interrogate the mysterious Villain from two weeks passed. This leads to more proof that we are dealing with pawns in a bigger game. Lena is making more progress in her lab with Malefic. She promises that she will remove the mind block that protects J’onn from his wrath. All he has to do is incept creatures with a growing level of difficulty. Malefic passes the test subduing an aggressive lizard turning it into a docile reptile. Now he wants his reward. He must be blinded with the anger he feels for J’onn. Lena’s mission is to do no harm. She will not remove the mind block so that harm can be done. The launch of the contact lenses appears to be going smoothly but in the real world the DEO is tracking a problem. There has been a break in at one of Lex’s storage facilities. The thief has been identified as Rip Roar. A man who’s super suit gives him two additional long arms. Brainy says the marathon laser was stolen. This coupled with the pilfered particle amplifier can hit a target twenty six miles away and produce heat that is one hundred times hotter than the Sun. Kara must suspend her investigation with William and go check in with Alex. They are also using the private investigation skills of J’onn J'onzz. What he uncovers is truly unexpected. When Kara confronts Rip Roar she is hit by the powerful laser. Supergirl is down but don’t count it as a win for the bad guys yet. Kara calls for backup and they fly off to Antarctica. Rip Roar has his eye on Lake Vostok and the Polar Ice Caps. He uses the laser to punch a hole in the ice. The resulting geyser causes a seismic shift. Supergirl radios Alex to let her know that the rest of the team must go to the waterfront. The melting ice and gushing water has the potential to cause flooding of biblical proportions. The residents of National City are blissfully unaware of the danger that surrounds them. Alex is definitely in grave danger of many things including missing her date anniversary as she rushes to save innocent people lost in a dream. Back in Antarctica J’onn and Kara fly in formation to create a whirlpool to draw the water down and keep it from spilling out and flooding the Earth. Back in National City Dreamer is fully awake and battling a tidal wave with her dream powers. Let’s hear it for the Superfriends. Another crisis has been averted but so much more of this story is left to be untangled. One question is answered. Rip Roar is William’s long lost friend Russ. His mission was to flood the planet starting with the West Coast. Andrea wouldn’t want that. The factories that produce her contact lenses are there. She would never make a decision that would jeopardize her own company. The mysterious woman who informed us that Leviathan is everywhere is impressed with Mrs. Rojas. What will Leviathan ask of her? What is this dangerous liaison? Join us next week for another adventure. Rest assured that our team can handle any crisis this world throws their way.

How Hint Water is helping people who are facing health struggles such as diabetes or cancer and need to drink more water.  Kara also shares the “why” behind their latest product, Hint Sunscreen, why their customers like it, and why it's so important that it doesn't include the ingredient, oxybenzone. In this episode, Teri welcomes Ryan Plasch, the VP of Growth and Strategy at Saykara, a company that is tackling the holy grail of medical documentation.Ryan has been in healthcare about 22 years with a specialty in Sales and Business Development Executive Leadership. He is passionate about the transformational use of modern technology that can improve healthcare delivery.Saykara is using their own speech recognition model and AI to tackle the issue of clinicians being in a room and having to chart their notes on a computer while they are interacting with a patient, which is not an ideal situation. That AI-powered healthcare virtual assistant that simplifies the documentation process is actually called Saykara. Saykara listens to the interaction between a physician/clinician and their patient while recording the documentation, and then being transcribed into the EHR. Key points from Ryan!Addressing one of the biggest pain points that physicians and clinicians have.SaykaraIt was formed in 2015 by Harjinder Sandhu.Harjinder had been closely following some of the trends in the voice industry around speech, specifically Amazon, Apple and Google. It is a virtual assistant designed primarily to create a comprehensive clinical note during a patient and physician/clinician encounter. The physician/clinician doesn’t have to look at a screen anymore, and doesn’t have to click and use keyboards. It is currently deployed over smartphoneHow Saykara worksSaykara is integrated with all major the EHRs. It can operate in a disconnected mode as well where everything is done manually, but for the most part the physician/clinician will walk into the encounter with a patient as they normally would, and on their phone they will have a worklist scheduled for the day as extracted by Saykara from the EHR. The physician/clinician will simply select that patient, set the phone down close them, and then turn on Kara (Saykara’s AI) and ask her to listen or press the on button to start recording. When the physician is done with the examination, he just presses off.The Natural Language Understanding (NLU) and Natural Language Processing (NLP)Saykara primarily listens to the physician because of their constant each day placing orders, referrals and other recommendations for the treatment plan. They do record the patient’s voice although with all the hype around AI, most AI is narrow, but they are very focused on areas where they think they can make a major contribution. They have their own speech recognition engine combined with their NLP platform, and their own unique AI algorithms. When Kara listens primarily to the physician, the phone app will buffer some of that and then synchronize to the cloud. They partner with industry leaders like Amazon and Microsoft, which are both secure, HIPAA compliant and encrypted. All a physician needs is an internet signal (cell or WiFi) They process information through their augmented AI where the machine learning does the first processing and then they have a team that QAs the data for intent, formatting, structure and terminology to ensure 100% accuracy. The QA process also serves as a feedback loop to help the machine learn, advance and understand at a much faster rate. They collect the audio data converted to text and then map it through NLP, and then build patterns/concepts based on the conversation flow.Kara listens to the physician verbalized out loud what they are thinking as they go through the exam, and then with the patterns and concepts they build, they generate what they believe the physician’s intent is and then use the QA person in the loop to ensure that that is done accurately. They also have the audio file which they listen to and their QA people listen to that as well to ensure that everything is accurate. They then generate a full complete billable note that is uploaded into the EHR.A physician can review their notes from Kara as soon as they need them.Kara has the ability to perform tasks like creating orders and to refer a patient.Kara works with any EMR. They have an agnostic HER interface engine and they can integrate with all the EHRs in a number of ways. They prefer the API approach because it allows for some very advanced functionality. The Phone Verses Voice Assistant HardwarePhysicians move around a lot from room to room, and the only constant is that they always have their phone with them. They are available for texts, calls, and emergencies. Kara is a very easy platform just to run over consumer smartphones which gives Saykara flexibility. It doesn’t require a dedicated power supply so it is not limited by location and/or the need for a lot of hardware. The sound sensitivity on smartphones is very good for creating clear audio to be able to generate a note using the AI platform.Physician Burn-outThis is a very important area for Saykara to tackle. It’s front and center in most of the health systems that they are working with, and it’s a public health crisis.Statistics show more than 50% of physicians are already burned-out or experiencing burn-out. Two thirds won’t recommend their profession.Saykara gives physicians their time back so they can improve their quality of life. The platform reduces their documentation time by 70% which really opens up doors for other activities that they couldn’t take care of otherwise.Links and Resources in this EpisodeSaykara’s WebsiteRyan’s Email See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.

She also recently launched the podcast Unstoppable, where she interviews founders, entrepreneurs and disruptors across various industries. How did you feel the last time a massive deal went under? Did you start to tumble out of control, thinking your business was a failure? This week’s guest, Kara Goldin, experienced some major struggles within her business in the very early stages. It was overwhelming and left Kara feeling like she’d never get to see her version of success. She even tried giving her company away to a Coca-cola executive. Kara realized it was time to turn that all around and start celebrating the small wins that were occurring everyday around her. When Kara was struggling to figure out how to get her drink on the shelves of conventional grocery stores, she began feeling down and depressed, but quickly turned that around by looking at her small wins. For instance, something as simple as building her list and portfolio of connections that she had. This was enough to propel Kara forward and keep pursuing her dream of making her business a true success! What small wins have happened this week that you haven’t even given a second thought to? If you’re only looking at the big picture, and want to start celebrating the little wins, then this episode of Success Unfiltered is a MUST LISTEN! Grab your copy of my FREE Checklist “5 Ways To Come Back From Sales Rejection” and turn that NO into a WIN! Here are a few key secrets we talked about in this episode: Michelle introduces Kara Goldin. Kara shares a quick synopsis of who she is and a bit about her company. Kara shares the first big NO she received after getting a big win of getting into Whole Foods. Buyer after buyer kept telling Kara NO, and it was frustrating because no one knew where her drink fit, and no one wanted to create a new category. Kara tells the full story in this episode. The switch went off in Kara’s head and she realized that she needed to start focusing on getting her beverage into places where other consumers might be. Trying to get into the conventional grocery stores was like beating a dead horse. Large grocery chains take $60 to $90 million from the soda chains, so that they get the prime real estate, which is why it’s tough to get on the drink shelves in retail. Kara heard 6 or 7 big NO’s before she decided to stop trying to get into grocery stores. The big shift happened for Kara when she realized she needed to focus on getting some small wins under her belt, which would eventually lead to the big wins. Book: The Score Takes Care of Itself - by: Bill Walsh The small wins helped Kara organize her thoughts in regards to sales. Kara shares the 3 big lessons she learned to help her move her in a different sales direction then she had been headed. A certain amount of your time in business should be dedicated to getting out of the office and meeting new people, according to Kara (I happen to agree!). Kara’s biggest NO before things started to turn around happened when she was about 6 months in. It has to do with creating a shelf-stable water and keeping it free from preservatives. She shares the full story! At one point, Kara was so frustrated she tried to give her company away to an exec at Coca-cola. After that conversation, she learned some great strategies just by listening to what the Coca-cola exec had to say, even though he was negative. Kara shares how they came to decide to pasteurize their water so that they could flavor it without preservatives and keep it shelf-stable. Kara’s big lesson was that you can learn from each other, even retail categories that don’t directly relate to your business. “Stop putting people on a pedestal. It doesn’t matter how much experience someone has, they were once where you were” ~ Kara Goldin. Kara believes that no matter what response you get when it comes to advice or trying to get your products out there, you should always keep your chin up and be professional. Let it motivate you to go forward and grow in other ways. Kara shares what she would tell her younger self. P.S.Celebrate Your Rejections In Business! Why?
