You're listening to American Ground Radio with Louis R. Avallone and Stephen Parr. This is the full show for February 13, 2026. 0:30 If you’re in ICE detention and don’t like the conditions, there’s an option millions of legal immigrants already understand: you’re free to go home. We dismantle claims that immigration detention is “cruel” or comparable to concentration camps, a comparison that is historically ignorant and morally offensive. We explain why deportation is not punishment under Supreme Court precedent, why detention is often a choice when voluntary departure is refused, and how the Department of Homeland Security is now offering illegal immigrants financial assistance and airfare to return home. From border enforcement to national sovereignty, this conversation cuts through the grievance politics to argue a simple principle: a nation without borders is not a nation—and America’s first responsibility is to its citizens. 9:30 Plus, we cover the Top 3 Things You Need to Know. The Federal Government is shutting down again, at least partially. The Senate failed to pass the funding for the Department of Homeland Security this week after Democrats objected to continuing to fund ICE and immigration enforcement efforts. Inflation continued to drop this past month. That's according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The Department of Transportation is ordering airlines to hire pilots based solely on merit. 12:30 Get Prodovite Plus from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 13:00 Rosie O’Donnell says she “fled” a scary America under Donald Trump—but we aren’t buying it. We dig into the celebrity meltdown narrative, arguing that O’Donnell didn’t escape authoritarianism—she escaped cultural relevance. We take aim at the idea that Trump voters are something to fear, mock the performative outrage of Hollywood elites, and point out the obvious: real exiles don’t keep U.S. passports, Hollywood access, dollar-denominated wealth, and residual checks. 16:00 We got a question in for our American Mamas Teri Netterville and Kimberly Burelson: What did you parents do that would get them canceled today? We dive into old-school parenting habits that once felt normal—but might trigger outrage now. From wooden spoons peeking out of purses and chain-smoking grandparents in the car, to paddling at school, drinking from the garden hose, roaming until the streetlights came on, and walking home alone with a key around your neck, the stories paint a picture of a very different America. The Mamas debate discipline, personal responsibility, and whether today’s hyper-sensitive culture has lost something important along the way. Equal parts funny and thought-provoking, this segment taps into parenting debates, generational differences, and the question many families are asking: did tough love work better than we’re willing to admit? If you'd like to ask our American Mamas a question, go to our website, AmericanGroundRadio.com/mamas and click on the Ask the Mamas button. 23:00 Photo ID for voting is suddenly back on the table—and this time, it might actually happen. Webreak down President Donald Trump’s threat to issue an executive order mandating voter ID in federal elections, as Congress inches closer to passing the SAVE Act. The big surprise? Senator Susan Collins is now a yes vote, signaling a major shift even in blue-state politics. We dig into why requiring state-issued photo ID to vote is being framed as “controversial,” despite IDs being required for everything from banking to voting on the U.S. Senate floor itself. And we address the claims that voter ID is racist, question lax ID policies in states like California, and argue this is only the first step toward restoring election integrity—state audits come next. With the 2026 midterms approaching, the message is clear: voter ID isn’t radical—it’s long overdue. 26:00 America’s birth-rate crisis meets peak absurdity in this jaw-dropping Valentine’s Day segment. As lawmakers and economists warn that falling population growth threatens the future of the republic, we react to a surreal new trend out of New York City: a bar hosting Valentine’s Eve “dates” for people in romantic relationships with AI-generated partners. Yes—tables for one human and one phone, courtesy of Eva AI. The conversation turns darkly comedic and brutally honest as we unpack survey data showing more than one in four adults say they’ve had a romantic relationship with artificial intelligence. This isn’t quirky tech optimism—it’s cultural rot. From porn-driven isolation to the death of courtship, the segment takes aim at a dating culture that rewards avoidance, validation, and zero personal growth. You can’t build families with a chatbot. You can’t raise future Americans with an algorithm. And you can’t save a country if men won’t shower, take a risk, and ask a real woman out. This is a blunt warning about masculinity, marriage, AI relationships, and why artificial partners are a dead end—for people and for the nation. 32:00 Get Performlyte from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 32:30 After Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl spotlight, a very different side of Puerto Rican culture is making national headlines. We react to a major legal shift in Puerto Rico, where the island’s Republican governor—an ally of Donald Trump—has signed a bill amending the criminal code to recognize an unborn child at any stage of gestation as a human being under criminal law. The change reshapes how homicide is defined, allowing the killing of a fetus during a violent crime against a pregnant woman to be prosecuted as the unlawful killing of a human being. 35:30 Plus, it's Fake News Friday! We're putting you to the test with our weekly game of headlines—are they real news, fake news, or really fake news? claims about voter ID and ICE popularity to Olympic scandals, celebrity outrage, and truly ridiculous media narratives, can you spot the fake news? Play along, keep score, and share your results with us on Facebook page: facebook.com/AmericanGroundRadio. 39:30 Don Lemon plead not guilty after being charged with conspiracy under the FACE Act for his alleged role in a coordinated disruption of a church in Minnesota. We dismantle Lemon’s claim that he was “just doing journalism,” arguing that planning, participating, and referring to activists as “we” crosses the line from reporting into outright political activism—raising serious questions about press ethics, religious freedom, and First Amendment rights during the Donald Trump era. 1. Virginia Politics & Redistricting Democrats in Virginia are moving quickly to enact policy changes after recent elections. The new Virginia congressional map heavily favors Democrats (projected 10D–1R), despite the state split being closer to 53% Democrat / 47% Republican. Comparisons to redistricting in Texas, California, and New England, arguing that both parties gerrymander but Virginia’s map is described as especially extreme. 2. Immigration Enforcement Virginia’s governor (referred to as Abigail Spanberger) cut cooperation with ICE. This policy could result in criminal undocumented immigrants being released into communities. 3. Discussion of Supreme Court Oral Arguments on Tariffs Detailed recounting of a Supreme Court case involving presidential authority to impose tariffs. Highlights: Roberts, Gorsuch, and Barrett expressed skepticism toward the administration’s position. Kavanaugh, Thomas, and Alito appeared more open to upholding the tariff authority. Predicts that Chief Justice Roberts may write a majority opinion to uphold tariff powers on institutional grounds. 4. The “Save America Act” House of Representatives passed the act with only one Democrat voting in favor. The act requires: Proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote. Photo ID to vote. Presented as “common-sense” election integrity legislation. Describes a procedural strategy within existing Senate rules, not abolishing the filibuster. Would force Democrats to perform a talking filibuster (continuous floor speeches). Requires Republicans to maintain 50 senators physically present, possibly for days or weeks. Democrats aim to: Eliminate photo ID laws. Grant statehood to D.C. and Puerto Rico. Offer citizenship and voting rights to undocumented immigrants. Pack the Supreme Court. Voter ID and citizenship proof are extremely popular nationwide with broad bipartisan support. Republicans should force Democrats to publicly defend opposition during a talking filibuster. 1. Minnesota AG Keith Ellison’s Senate Testimony Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison was questioned in the Senate regarding alleged failures to prevent and address large‑scale fraud in the state’s Feeding Our Future program. Senators—primarily Josh Hawley—accused Ellison of: Ignoring whistleblower warnings as early as 2018–2019. Meeting with individuals later indicted for fraud and allegedly offering to “look into” investigators who were scrutinizing them. Accepting approximately $10,000 in campaign donations from individuals tied to the fraud shortly after their meeting. Ellison strongly denied wrongdoing, describing the claims as false and politically motivated. The session was tense, marked by interruptions, raised voices, and confrontational exchanges. 2. Refusal to Condemn Louis Farrakhan During questioning, Ellison declined to explicitly condemn antisemitic statements attributed to Louis Farrakhan. He attempted to redirect discussion to immigration topics, expressing discomfort with the line of questioning. 3. Democrats Linked to Record Sewage Spill Democratic officials in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia oversaw infrastructure failures leading to the largest sewage spill in U.S. history. A burst 72‑inch sewer pipe released nearly one billion gallons of raw sewage into the Potomac River. Criticism is directed at: Lack of media coverage. Slow response times. Infrastructure mismanagement. Emergency pumps had to be transported from Texas and Florida to address the crisis. 4. Discussion of Government Competence Democratic‑run cities and states mismanage public systems (snow removal, wildfire mitigation, infrastructure maintenance, etc.). They argue such patterns reflect systemic governmental incompetence. 5. Save America Act & Voter ID Debate The Save America Act, passed in the House with near‑unanimous Republican support, requires: Proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote. Photo ID to vote. Senator Ted Cruz advocates for aggressive procedural tactics in the Senate, including: Forcing a “talking filibuster.” Using the two‑speech rule to pressure Democratic senators. The argument made: voter ID laws are widely supported across political and demographic groups. Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now. The UN has Their Hat Out, Why the Netflix Merger is paramount in Entertainment & Americans Agree on Voter ID Week In Review

Verdict with Ted Cruz

Play Episode Listen Later Feb 7, 2026 33:50 Transcription Available

1. United Nations Funding Crisis The United Nations is facing financial collapse because the United States has reduced or withdrawn funding. This is a move to stop funding “woke” & ideological programs. The UN is ineffective, bureaucratic, and overly dependent on U.S. taxpayer money. Symbolic examples (turned-off escalators, reduced heating) are used to emphasize desperation and mismanagement. The U.S. withdrew from 66 international organizations and treaties, framed as: Cost-saving Anti-globalist Pro-American sovereignty Many of these organizations are described as obscure, wasteful, or hostile to U.S. interests. The underlying message is that global institutions dilute U.S. power without delivering value. 2. Media Merger and National Security Concerns Focus shifts to a major media merger (Netflix / Warner Bros / Paramount context). Concerns raised include: Foreign influence, especially money from the Middle East or China National security implications Loss of American cultural control The argument is that entertainment media shapes public perception more than news. Hollywood and major streaming platforms are portrayed as: Predominantly left-wing Hostile to conservative viewpoints Engaged in ideological indoctrination Executives are challenged on whether their content fairly represents conservatives. The inability to name conservative-oriented programming is used as evidence of bias. The merger is framed as dangerous because it could: Concentrate cultural and political influence Amplify a single ideological viewpoint The Department of Justice and FCC are identified as key gatekeepers. The timeline for approval is described as months to years, with high stakes for media freedom. 3. Save America Act (Voter ID Legislation) Proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote Photo ID to vote The bill is common-sense and widely supported, including among minority voters. Democrats, particularly Chuck Schumer, are accused of: Using “Jim Crow” rhetoric to scare voters Ignoring polling that shows broad support for voter ID Opposition is attributed to: Desire to preserve election vulnerabilities Partisan strategy rather than public opinion Ballot harvesting is described as inherently vulnerable to abuse. Examples (nursing homes, paid operatives) are used to argue: Elderly and vulnerable voters can be exploited Ballots can be selectively discarded The Carter–Baker Commission is cited to legitimize these concerns. Acknowledges internal Republican resistance and logistical challenges. Emphasizes urgency and political pressure as tools to pass the bill. Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now. 1. SAVE America Act (Election Law & Voter ID) Core Argument The SAVE America Act would: Require proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote Require photo ID to vote Democrats are portrayed as unanimously opposed, preventing passage due to the Senate’s 60‑vote threshold. Strategic Claim Cruz argues Republicans should: Force a “real” filibuster (continuous floor speeches) Make Democratic opposition politically and physically costly He frames Democratic resistance as intentional rather than procedural. Public Opinion Framing Polling is cited (CNN, Pew) to claim: Broad bipartisan and multiracial support for voter ID Democratic leadership (especially Chuck Schumer) is accused of ignoring their own voters. 2. Voter Fraud & Ballot Harvesting Claims Presented Ballot harvesting is described as: A system that enables fraud, especially among elderly or vulnerable populations Democrats are accused of: Supporting policies that increase fraud opportunities Reversing recommendations from the Carter–Baker Commission There is justification for: Photo ID laws Restrictions on mail-in voting Limits on third-party ballot collection 3. Somali Welfare Fraud in Minnesota Central Allegation Massive welfare fraud in Minnesota tied to programs serving the Somali immigrant community. Figures cited include: Up to half of $18 billion in welfare spending allegedly lost to fraud Disproportionately high welfare participation rates among Somali households Democratic state officials are accused of: Knowing about the fraud Allowing it to continue for political gain Silencing whistleblowers Stolen welfare funds indirectly finance al‑Shabab, a terrorist organization 4. Medical Policy Shift on Gender Surgeries for Minors Key Development The American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Medical Association are described as: Reversing prior support for “gender‑affirming surgeries” for minors Now recommending deferral until adulthood Causal Explanation The reversal is attributed to: A high‑profile malpractice lawsuit by a detransitioner Legal and financial risk to medical institution Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now.

The conversation focuses on his recent visit to the US southern border and the high level briefing received by officials regarding increased security risks. Moreover, recent reports from Latin American governments have raised the alarms of terrorists coming to the region. Transnational organized crime networks have taken advantage of America's porous borders and smuggled dangerous drugs into our nation. According to DEA, "Mexico and China are the primary source countries for fentanyl and fentanyl-related substances trafficked directly into the United States." Fentanyl has taken the lives of 74,702 Americans in 2023 alone. A published report stated: Panamanian authorities have reported that members of Hezbollah, one of the most influential paramilitary groups in the Middle East, have been detected crossing the Darién jungle. Authorities also noted that these individuals are linked to groups involved in migrant smuggling. Costa Rica's Minister of Security, Mario Zamora, explained that the recent rise in migration has heightened alerts for individuals connected to terrorism. Other cases of individuals with links to terrorism, however, have been recorded. “Costa Rica has detained three individuals with international terrorism alerts: two Somalis linked to a little-known group and an Egyptian connected to Al Qaeda. Currently, we have a person from Kazakhstan, linked to ISIS, in custody. This migratory flow has brought individuals with a history of terrorism,” Zamora stated. The conversation on America's Roundtable also focuses on AG Jason Miyares's journey to Israel after the October 7, 2024 terrorist attacks and the plight of Jewish American students on US campuses. AG Miyares raised concerns about American hostages still held captive in Gaza and reflected on the murder of six hostages including Hersh Goldberg-Polin, who grew up in Richmond, Virginia. The timely discussion elevates the importance of advancing principled policies based on the rule of law and affirming the significance of peace through strength. americasrt.com (https://americasrt.com/) https://ileaderssummit.org/ | https://jerusalemleaderssummit.com/ America's Roundtable on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/americas-roundtable/id1518878472 Twitter: @JasonMiyaresVA @ileaderssummit @AmericasRT @NatashaSrdoc @JoelAnandUSA @supertalk America's Roundtable is co-hosted by Natasha Srdoc and Joel Anand Samy, co-founders of International Leaders Summit and the Jerusalem Leaders Summit. Thursday Red Pill Diaries-Told Ya So! Trump Confirms: The Democrats PLANNED To Throw Election Into Congress  Today is Constitution Day! The Governor executes the laws, he is not a dictator.  An amendment changed the way Presidents were elected. Our lawmakers here in Louisiana have said NOTHING about changing the way we vote only the Governor has. I told you the Democrats planned to send the election into Congress!  AUDIO: President Trump - at a certain point this will go to Congress, this is a serious threat to our Democracy.  How do you PHOTO ID someone that is wearing a N-95 mask? Do you have the right to ask them to remove the mask for facial recognition? Will you only be allowed to vote in person if you wear a mask? There are so many issues that will arise this voting cycle. BIOGRAPHY  Mike Church Biography – “Too Catholic For Satellite Radio” In May of 2015, Chris Ferrara wrote a bio pic essay on a talk-radio host who was then completely unknown to Catholic, talk-radio fans. The Mike Church Interview: A Remarkable Conversion to Tradition Changes the Face of Political Talk Radio Featured Chris wrote of me back then, words that were too kind but serve as a basis for this biography. Indeed, over the past year or so Mike Church has emerged as the only traditionally Catholic conservative in talk radio today, anywhere in the world. And I mean traditional. Not only during my appearances on the show, but now thematically, Mike has turned the longest running political talk show on Sirius Radio into an unabashed presentation of the Social Kingship of Christ, traditional Catholic moral teaching, and even the traditional Latin liturgy as the solution to what is evidently otherwise a terminal civilizational crisis. I have been invited on the show numerous times to defend all of these things explicitly, to speak of the one true Church, and even to call upon conservative Protestants to enter the Church if they are serious about saving our nation and our civilization. From there, on October 26, 2015, my 13 year run on Sirius Satellite Radio came to a close when my contract was not renewed. Chris would follow the above bio with an updated one titled, The Mike Church Show – Too Catholic For Satellite Radio. MIKE CHURCH BIOGRAPHY FACTS Born, February 2nd, New Orleans Begun talk-radio in 1992, WSLA, Slidell LA, I have been off air a total of 7 months since. Launched the Sirius Satellite Radio service as its FIRST – LIVE talk-show on 10 March, 2003. Promoted to Morning Drive on the SiriusXM Patriot Channel, May 2009, the 3rd most listened to show on the platform From July 2007 – present, founded Founding Father Films, wrote, produced, narrated and directed 9, full length audio features, two that made it to DVD! Returned to the Roman Catholic Church's Tridentine Mass and Tradition in 2013. Consecrated to Our Lady via de Montfort's formula in December 2014. I had been planning for SiriusXM to “whack me” since 2012 and had laid the structural groundwork for the next step in my career: launching the Veritas Radio Network and The CRUSADE Channel. On November 1st, 2015, in a video webcast for the press, I announced the VRN and that on November 15th, the Mike Church Show would be silent no more and would return to the air, this time on a platform custom built for LIVE talk radio. Smaller Government is Better! Avoid the Chastisement! It's your hitchhiker's guide to faux conservative news!
