The podcast covers a wide range of topics, from postpartum struggles to parenting dynamics, and offers practical tips for personal growth and emotional well-being. Each episode is filled with wisdom and relatability that leaves listeners feeling validated and supported in their journey as parents.

One of the best aspects of The Holding Space podcast is the diverse range of guests that Dr. Cassidy brings on to share their experiences and expertise. These conversations are vulnerable, relatable, and genuinely helpful. It's refreshing to hear real stories from other mothers who have faced similar challenges and have come out stronger on the other side. Dr. Cassidy's ability to make complex topics feel approachable is commendable, making it easy for listeners to connect with the content.

Another great aspect of this podcast is Dr. Cassidy's soothing voice and compassionate demeanor throughout each episode. I'm a recovering perfectionist, and in this episode I'm sharing my story. Perfectionism is often rooted in Anxiety. Maybe if I do this perfect, then I'll be safe? Unfortunately, there's no shortage of messages that can keep us stuck in the cycle of striving for control through Perfection while ignoring our own needs, falling short because, well...we are HUMAN, and feeling swallowed up by the Guilt or Shame that follows. Can you relate? I invited my friend Kaitlin Soule, LMFT (author of the upcoming book A Little Less of a Hot Mess) to hear my story and walk us through ways we can begin to stop the cycle of people-pleasing and perfectionism that so often leads to burnout and anxiety in parenting.
