You won’t believe how I met today’s guest. I called Geico to request some paperwork and the customer service agent that helped me was Edward. We somehow started to talk about investing and the FIRE movement and talked on the Geico customer service line for an hour! For this interview we intended to discuss the FIRE movement and how he made a plan to retire at 40 but you’ll find out immediately that there is much more to Edwards story. Edward experienced extreme difficulties and traumas early on. He did not let those things stop him from living a full and hopeful life. His positivity and can do attitude is infectious. Edward is an author, investor, entrepreneur, husband, and father. I’m excited for you to hear his story and hope it gives you a little bit of hope that all is not lost even in the darkest times.
