Podcast De Boekenparade tipt in elke aflevering een boek om voor te lezen aan je kinderen. Kinderboekenexpert Sara van Forum Groningen kiest een boek waar Jeroen van Studio Hoorzaam uit voorleest. Ze zoeken daarbij een haakje bij het Forum.Het Hekkenhuis gaat over Jackson. Jackson zit in de klas bij zijn favoriete juf Annie tijdens een les en moet giechelen. Dit alles is het begin van een kaartenhuis dat in elkaar stort. Uiteindelijk wordt het zwart voor Jacksons ogen en wordt hij zo boos, dat hij het digibord van de muur rukt. Het digibord valt op juf Annie, zijn favoriete juf Annie, die nu een been gebroken heeft. Je kan je voorstellen dat Jackson straf krijgt, maar juf Annie is niet echt boos. Jackson heeft veel moeite met sorry zeggen. Dat komt door alle vervelende dingen die hij heeft meegemaakt. Om sorry te leren zeggen, wordt zijn straf dat hij naar het Hekkenhuis moet en daar op bezoek moet bij meneer Lear. Of dit nou een huis met veel Hekken is of het gekkenhuis, weet Jackson eigenlijk niet. Volgens juf Annie hebben de mensen in het Hekkenhuis iets met taal en kan vooral meneer Lear hem helpen. Dit boek is een erg mooie les over anders zijn en jezelf. Daar tipt Sara nog twee boeken over!Tip 1 - Het bijna helemaal waargebeurde verhaal van Ryan – Pepijn Lievens In dit boek van dezelfde schrijver als het Hekkenhuis ligt verbeelding en de waarheid ook weer dicht bij elkaar en soms helemaal door elkaar heen en dat terwijl het heel normaal lijkt. Je lachspieren worden getraind. Je volgt Ryan van 10. Ryan heeft zijn vader al 34 dagen, 8 uur en 17 minuten niet meer gezien. Omdat zijn vader al zolang weg is, moet hij volgens Ryan wel ontdekkingsreiziger zijn. Dat is natuurlijk niet zomaar iets wat je mag delen. Ryan heeft zelf ook een geheim: hij is verliefd. Met een beetje hulp van een professor in vermommingstechniek lijkt het hem bijna te lukken bij zijn grote liefde in de buurt te komen. Hij probeert zichzelf te veranderen in een balpen, zodat hij in het etui van Rafaella kan zijn.   Ryan komt weer met beide benen op de aarde als hij plots toch weer bericht krijgt van zijn verdwenen vader… Een absurd verhaal dat laat zien waar je hoofd toe in staat is als al het andere om je heen te spannend of onzeker wordt. Tip 2 - Willem Zoetelief, koning van Aloeka – Ronnie van Veen Dit boek gaat over Willem. Net als in de andere twee boeken, heeft deze jongen een heel rijke fantasie en een boek vol humor. Hij liegt op school over zijn vakantiebestemming. Hij zegt dat ze met het gezin naar Aloeka gaan, een klein eilandje in de Indische Oceaan. Niemand gelooft hem, maar toch is het een plek waar Willem wel vaak komt: in zijn slaap. Het zou volgens Willem een plek zijn waar Floortje Dessing zou komen voor een tv-programma. Aloeka is de plek waar Willem naartoe kan om te ontsnappen. Thuis is het namelijk allesbehalve fijn. Zijn ouders maken veel ruzie, er is weinig geld en zijn vader kan hier niet goed mee omgaan. Aloeka heeft ook soms wel wat overlap met Willems echte wereld. Zowel in mensen die erlangs komen als het feit dat iedereen eigenlijk op z'n eigen eilandje leeft, fantasie én werkelijkheid. Leen deze boeken bij één van onze vestigingen. Rafaella Uhiara coordena o projeto de pesquisa “Arquivos Sonoros de Teatro”, desenvolvido no Centro de Documentação Teatral da Universidade de São Paulo (CDT-USP) com auxílio da Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (FAPESP). Docente credenciada ao Programa de Pós-Graduação em Artes Cênicas da Universidade de São Paulo (PPGAC-USP), possui mestrado e doutorado em Estudos Teatrais pela Université Sorbonne Nouvelle e bacharelado em Artes Cênicas com habilitação em Direção Teatral pela USP.Como estudar os sons dos espetáculos do passado e do presente? Que palavras, documentos e métodos utilizar para pensar a sonoridade dos espetáculos? O projeto “Arquivos Sonoros de Teatro”, implementado em outubro de 2023 no Centro de Documentação Teatral da USP com auxílio da FAPESP (2022/15032-4), responde a essas necessidades básicas para a pesquisa sonora em artes cênicas. In 2011, remains were found near Gilgo Beach on Long Island, New York, close to where at least 10 other bodies had been discovered. This victim, known as "Asian Doe," remains unidentified. Who was "Asian Doe"? "Asian Doe" was a biological male of Southern Chinese descent, likely aged 17-23 years old at the time of death. The victim was found wearing women's clothing, including items from brands like Bill Blass, Rafaella, and Chrysantheme. It is unclear whether "Asian Doe" identified as female. Investigators believe "Asian Doe" may have been a sex worker and had likely spent time in New York City. The Investigation: "Asian Doe's" death was ruled a homicide caused by blunt force trauma. The remains were present along Ocean Parkway for at least five years before their discovery in 2011. While the case shares similarities with the Gilgo Beach murders, including the location of the remains being found near victims Megan Waterman and Jessica Taylor, it's unclear if there's a connection to Rex Heuermann, the prime suspect in the Gilgo Four killings. Heuermann is currently charged with six murders, including those of the Gilgo Four (Melissa Barthelemy, Megan Waterman, Amber Lynn Costello, and Maureen Brainard-Barnes), Sandra Costilla, and Jessica Taylor. Call to Action: Authorities are seeking the public's help in identifying "Asian Doe." They have released forensic sketches depicting potential appearances and urge anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers. A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the victim's identification. Heather was recognized as a Glass Ceiling Award winner and as one of the Most Influential Women in radio in 2017 before her unexpected termination. In late 2017, Heather chose to make her company Boss In Heels her full-time job. Over the next few months, Heather was featured on the Elvis Duran Radio show, wrote and self-published her first book entitled “Confidence Creator” and was named the Brand Ambassador for Perry Ellis International's female brand “Rafaella”. Subsequently, she was named a limit-breaking female founder by Thrive Global. She is also a member of the Florida International University (FIU) Advisory Council to further serve as a mentor and leader in the South Florida community. Heather's book Confidence Creator shot to #1 on Amazon's Business Biographies and Business Motivation lists the first week it debuted on Amazon. Forbes named Confidence Creator one of the 5 must have books for women in business in 2021. Heather's show, Creating Confidence, debuted on the Top 200 shows on Apple podcast. Her guests include Sara Blakely, Gary Vaynerchuck, Ryan Serhant, Kaitlyn Bristowe among many other noteworthy celebrities and entrepreneurs.
